Mecc Missions

The Search for Tel

A Boy Called Timmy

Unless you're just aching for a fight, avoid the horde of Rippers in the valley
and in the town atop the cliffs by skirting the village and crossing the
suspension bridges quickly. Mop up the two Rippers near Timmy, and he'll give
you
a Jetpack as a reward for saving him.

The Wax Smarties

Get under the Smarties by watching for falling rocks - the one that's about to
fall will drop rocks first. Grab them and drop them in the pit to complete the
mission..

Tel's Dilemma

The two giant Rippers guarding the gorge are a pain - duck behind the hill to
avoid their attacks and pick them off one-by-one. Jetpack across and make a mad
dash up the hill to reach Tel.

The Ripper Nest

Use Tel to thin out the valley that's swarming with Rippers, then quickly
Jetpack
across the islands to reach the shaft.

The Way to Sorcha Island

Use Tel to take care of the Reapermen Snipers while you focus on making it
through alive. Tel can take a fair amount of punishment, and he's very accurate,
so use him wisely to reach the shaft entrance.

Hunger in the Codpiece Hills

Starving!

Your only concern here are the Rippers in the hills. Don't stop to fight - fly
right by them and deliver the Vimp meat to Daddy.

The Wife

Load up at the Smartie Shop near the beach, then make your way around the
cliffs.
A dual assault on the final tower with Tel is suicide, unless you send him in
first to take care of the snipers. Once the way is clear, bring in Baz to
complete the mission.

The Road Home (with someone's wife on your back)

This one will get ugly unless you jet over the hills directly opposite you
starting point. You should come out above the Smartie Shop - reload there, then
make your way back to Daddy.

High Village

The Barracks should be your only targets if you can manage it. Give Tel orders
to
destroy them while you watch his back, or let him run wild and kill Rippers
while
you do the deed. Either way, you don't have to kill all the Rippers -once the
Barracks are gone, the mission is over.

Grandpa Borjoyzee

With High Villlage clear, Jetpack across the hills to find Grandpa. Check your
map for his location and avoid any Rippers that attack along the way..

Dick Whittington Prison

Reg's Dilemma

Search the valley on the right side of the island (just past the suspension
bridge) to find the Sonak. Use your Machine Gun to finish off the Sonak and free
Reg.

Dick Whittington Prison

Reg's Dilemma

Search the valley on the right side of the island (just past the suspension
bridge) to find the Sonak. Use your Machine Gun to finish off the Sonak and free
Reg.

Borjoyzee Awaits

With Reg and Tel, you'll have no problem getting back to Grandpa Borjoyzee.
Target any Rippers in your way, and they will help you obliterate them quickly.

The Reaper Guard Barracks

Load up at the Smartie Shop near your landing point. You can either jet around
the island and pick off the enemy barracks from outside, or walk up the hill
behind the Smartie Shop and pick them off from there. Either way, expect plenty
of resistance from the Barracks - go back to the Smartie Shop if you need ammo
or
health.

The Sonak Patrols

Kill the Sonak first, then use the cover of the canyon walls to pick off the
Guards accompanying them. Work your way around the island until you've killed
all
the groups.

The Log Launchers

You can make a rush up the hill to destroy the Log Launchers, but this won't
complete the mission. You have to kill all the Guards in the valley first - kill
the hornblowers first, including the one near the Smartie Shop. As you rush the
hill where the log launchers are, snipers will fire at you. Return fire once
you're on the hilltop, and send Reg and Tel in to finish the job.

Dick Whittington Lift

This one is short and sweet - rush the guards at the lift with Reg and Tel, then
climb on the lift to complete the mission.

Dick Whittington Prison

You can take down the turrets in front of the prison from the hills, then fly
around the back side of the structure. Use this as your base of operations and
whittle down the enemy forces until you can place your bomb in front of the
gates
and blow it up.

The Search for Timmy

Torture Square

The valleys in this mission are swarming with enemies, but if you go the hilltop
route, watch out for turrets. Work your way through the valley and rearm at the
Smartie Shop. Use the Smartie Shop south of the fortress as a base of
operations,
and use your Millennium Gun to hammer the barracks nearby. This should lure most
of the guards to you - once they are history, kill the Raiks near the entrance
with sniper fire and enter the base.

The Offpsring!

Send in Reg and Tel to take on the two Offspring Kabuto leaves behind. Stay out
of the action, and use your zoom to snipe at their green weak spots while Reg
and
Tel risk being eaten alive.

Gordon & Bennett's Dilemma

Don't get in a hurry here - work your way methodically around to the second
island. Use Reg and Tel to lead the way. Remember, you can heal them with a
Repair pack when they get injured - this will keep them around longer. Once
you've secured a beachhead on the second island, make a dash for the tower
ahead.
Watch for the SAM turrets (have Reg or Tel take them down) and fly inside the
tower entrance to complete the mission.

The Battle!

The Charger

Killing the Charger is easy - if you have the nerve to stand in front of it and
wait until it opens its mouth, drop a Millennium Gun mortar in its mouth and
you'll kill it. If it runs over you, you'll have to restart the mission.

The Battle!

Be sure you have your disciples set to guard the area inside your base. Go in
search of Vimp meat and Smarties - three or four are enough - to start your
base.
Several waves of Reapermen Guards and Rippers will attack while you build, so
keep everything repaired and get your Level 2 walls up as soon as possible. Once
you have the ability to get a PopUp Bomb, head for the enemy barracks. Use your
disciples to lead the way, and they'll take down turrets and other enemies you
come across. Leave the PopUp Bomb directly in front of the barracks, and get out
of there!

Delphi Missions

Yan, the Samurai Smartie

The first of Delphi's training missions isn't difficult. Use deep water to heal
Delphi and kill the Reapermen Guards with her bow from maximum distance.

Smartie in a Bubble

You don't have to go all the way up the hill to get the Smartie here - he's just
in front of the tower, so when you can see him, use the Smartie Grab spell to
reel him in, then return to Yan.

The Power of Turbo!

Stock up in the Smartie Shop and approach the Raiks ahead carefully. A few
Sniper
Bow shots will work to soften them up - be sure to use plenty of Turbo to escape
their attacks and get the drop on them. Rescue Yan atop the final hill to
complete the mission.

Yan's Peace Mantra

Check your map - remember that Delphi can swim in deep water, so dive in and
take
the shortest route to Yan's home. When you get near, use a Firewall spell to
blast the Reaper Guards on shore. Stay near water so you can heal Delphi as
needed, and pick the remaining guards off until they are all gone.

The Lost Reaperski

Army Barracks Onslaught

Scout the area nearby - there are Smarties all over the place as well as Vimp
herds. Once you've got your base started, get ready to defend it. Use Slow Time
and Turbo to stop attacking groups, and be sure you get your Level 2 force
fields
up quickly. Repair the force fields to keep enemies out and protect your
Smarties
as they build. Once you have the Tornado spell, check the map for the enemy
barracks location and unleash a Tornado on the center of the structure to
destroy
it.

The Reaperski!

Leap to the top of the cliffs surrounding the Reaperski platform and fire on any
Guards and turrets you see. Turbo to the ground quickly and enter the dock to
take the Reaperski without having to fight all the Guards.

The Reaperski Escape!

Use the Turbo power ups to ram through the ice walls. If you need to use
rockets,
it will take two to do the job.

The Reaperski Races

Pre-Race WarmUp

Clear the island and tower near the Smartie Shop, then use Turbo to ambush the
Guards on the mainland. They are conveniently marching in groups, so use Slow
Time and Firewall to make quick work of them.

Reaperski Race 1,2, and 3

The only differences here are the courses. Otherwise, your strategy for all the
races is the same - use Turbo boosts to get the lead and ignore the rocket power
ups - it's just too hard to shoot another Reaperski that's ahead of you.
Concentrate on speed and hitting the gates, and you'll win every time.

The Reaper Fleet

Raiders will be after Yan, so get your shields up quickly. Remember that
Delphi's
sword will steal energy from Reapermen Guards that can be funneled into your
base. Make good use of Slow Time to buy her enough time to use it. Once you have
the Tornado spell, cross the map to the area surrounding the Reaper Fleet and
use
it on the barracks and fleet.

Queen Sappho

The Great Reaperski Race!

The toughest part of this race is the line of Guards firing at you at the race's
narrowest point. Use Turbo boosts to blow by them, and gain ground on the pack
while you speed along the beach.

Sappho's Palace

Get your base constructed quickly - don't forget to place force fields as soon
as
possible and protect Yan. Approach the enemy barracks from behind and blow it
away (literally) with the Tornado spell to complete the mission. There is
another
enemy complex to the west - you can ignore it unless you need more health or
ammo. There's a Smartie Shop at the top of the lift inside.

The Hunt for Sappho

Sappho's lair is directly behind the destroyed barracks. Turbo into the heart of
the volcano, and you're there.

Volcano Rendezvous

Use your Slow Time spell to slow Sappho down, then cut her down to size with
Delphi's sword. If she escapes, target her landing area with Slow Time and keep
after her until she's defeated. If she catches you in a Slow Time dome, Turbo to
get out quickly

Kabuto Missions

Birth of a Giant

Attack of the Evil Smarties

Smash the houses to find the Evil Smarties Kabuto needs and avoid the enemy
barracks - run past them to avoid taking too much damage. Once Kabuto is big
enough, bash through the gate behind the barracks to end the mission.

The Way Out

More of the same, but there are Raiks here. Run through them, placing a few good
kicks as you go and find the Smarties Kabuto needs. Bash the stone gate once you
are big enough, and continue.

Coming of Age…

A Monster Comes of Age

This area is crawling with Guards and Raiks, so don't mess around. Avoid
fighting
a pitched battle - this is one time that Kabuto is outnumbered. Stay on the run
and protect Kabuto's weak spot. Break down the gate once Kabuto is big enough to
complete the mission.

Monster Motherhood

The Offspring aren't much help here, but they will draw turret fire while Kabuto
destroys the turrets. You should also send them ahead of Kabuto to clear a path
and draw fire. Run through quickly and destroy the barracks ahead.

Smash and Burn

The Kabuto Canyons

Run straight ahead from your starting point. When you reach the water, look for
a
group of trees near the cliff wall. There's a channel behind them - crush the
stone wall behind the trees to reveal the secret entrance.

Kabuto Volcano

Locate the enemy base on your map. The pillar of rock you need is on the hill
facing the base. Climb to reach the pillar, and hit it once to release a
boulder.
Now, climb/run to the base and hit to to blow it up. If you need another rock,
return to the pillar and repeat.

Magnifying Glass 1

Enter the area behind the barracks and kill the Reapermen Guards and Raiks you
come across. Work your way around the canyon until you find the crystal. Take a
piece of it and head for the crystal wall in the center of the map. To use the
magnifying glass, hold down the button you've assigned to it as well as your
mouse button. This focuses the beam and shatters the crystal wall.

Exit Portal 1

Run, run, run! Don't stop to fight - you can reach the Exit Portal easily if you
don't get bogged down fighting everyone in your way. Smash through the gates
along the way and avoid stopping as much as possible.

The Last Reaper Fortress

Magnifying Glass 2

Check your map for Smartie villages and hatch some Offspring as soon as you can.
The crystal is on the west side of the map, so follow the river to reach it. It
is heavily guarded, but your Offspring should be able to clear the area somewhat
before you enter. Once you have the crystal you need, run to the opposite side
of
the map and crash through the gate damming the river to reach the beach and the
crystal gate.

The Last Reaper Base

This one's easy - just cross the bridge, run through the valley and smash the
gate behind the barracks to complete the mission. You can completely ignore the
enemies in your path if you're quick enough.

Exit Portal 2

Walk along the walls as much as possible and enter the gate at the west end of
the island. Feed at the Smartie village inside, hatch some Offspring if you need
to, and keep going. While your Offspring take care of the enemies ahead, climb
the walls and leap across the canyon to reach the central cliff and the Exit
Portal.

Citizen Kabuto

This one is very difficult, so be sure that you eat enough enemies to stay alive
long enough to reach the exit. There are many Raik ambushes - kick your way past
them and let your Offspring fight for you as much as possible. Make a dash for
the final gate, crushing the barracks and Guards blocking our path.

Kabuto's Sewers

As before, you can run past trouble to reach the sewer entrance (check your map
if you get lost). When you find the sewers, don't mess around - get through that
gate quickly to avoid being brought down by Raiks.

Climb to the Big Fight

Midway up the path, use the volcanic pillar to supply you with boulders and
destroy the enemy log launchers with them. Save one for the barracks on top of
the hill, then keep going up the cliff to reach Kabuto's lair.

Defeat Kabuto!

One punch will drop Kabuto in his tracks, but this won't be that easy. He'll get
up, and knock you down, triggering Delphi's transformation back into her own
form
and Baz's arrival on the scene.

No…Defeat Kabuto!

Baz is left facing the real Kabuto, but it's not as bad as it looks. Avoid
Kabuto's first rush and butt-slam, and dive into a bunker to hide. When he peeks
in, shoot at his weak spot. You may get crushed a few times, but start over and
keep at it. If he jumps to the ledge and starts throwing rocks, the only safe
spot is directly beneath the cliff edge or in a bunker. If you get lucky, you
can
kill him from within a bunker - use RPG rounds first, then switch to your
Handgun
to finish him off.

That's it - once Kabuto is defeated, the Smarties are safe. Watch the heart-
warming ending cinematic, and bask in the glow of you success - you've earned
it!
