Mission 1
THE STRANGE MUSEUM


Mission Objective:
Trevor, the manager of The Pre-Colombian Antiquities Department of the Boston
Museum, has called the organization to investigate the strange phenomena which
now causing deep concern. He has called Prof. Mc Randall, an anthropologist
specialist in Meso-American rites, to take care the latest acquisition for the
museum. You have to talk with both person to do the investigation.

Q: Where could I meet Trevor and Mc Randall?
A: Go straight and take the first door on your right. You'll arrive at Trevor's
office. He will ask you to meet Mc Randall downstairs. Take the staircase to the
basement and open the left door. Talk with her. She told you that museum has
received the latest acquisition. Trevor hold the key to unlock the box inside
the
storage room.

Q: Trevor won't give me a key. What should I do ?
A: First, you have to show him the log book. You could find it on the table
inside the record room. He'll give you the key to the storage room after that.
There are 2 boxes inside the storage room. For now, don't open the box on the
left end corner (the one that could be unlocked with Trevor's key). Believe me
on
that! All of those tendrils will attack you if you do that. You could unlock the
other box though. The key could be found inside the room in front of the record
room. It's on the crate. You could take a relic.

Q: What should I do next?
A: Talk to William Burnst inside the library on the first floor. He'll give you
a
book about theOaxatlan mummy. Show this book to Mc Randall. She'll tell you
about
some historical stuff.

Q: Where could I get this mummy artifacts?
A: You could find 3 pieces of them scattered around the museum. The first piece
is inside the mummy room. It's inside the left end crevice. The second one is
inside the box in the storage room downstairs (use Trevor's key to unlock it).
The last one is inside the glass cage in the exhibition room (room A). Look at
this map to help you. The trick is: you have to be quick because as soon as you
pick up the second or the third artifact, the tendrils will start attacking you.
Put them all on the round altar in the sacrificial room (room B).



Additional info: You could perform 'See Energy' spell to reveal all of those
tendrils. But I think this act is useless because the tendrils will attack you
anyway.


Mission 2
WHISKEY A GOGO


Mission Objective:
The Volstead brewery has this disturbance recently. The new owner has been shot
death but no bullets found lying anywhere. You've been ordered to investigate
this strange event.

Q: Where do I start ?
A: There's a trailer at the back-end of the brewery. Go there. Be careful, there
are lots of ghosts will attack you on the way. Tune in your 'Blast Positive'
spell at least until level 3. Use 'Drain' spell to recharge your energy. Be wise
with this capability though.

Q: I couldn't open the van. Where's the key ?
A: Push the switch beside the electric box. This will open the door to the
storage room. On the top of the crate at the corner, you'll find a key with a
strange aura around it. Use 'Exorcism' spell to release the key. Pick it up.
Unlock the van and go inside.

Q: What should I find inside ?
A: There's a deck of cards lying on the table. Pick it up. When you get out of
the van, William Burn is in a critical condition. He'll mention about the gate,
the beyond, and a guy called Ernie.

Note: There are lots of beer bottles lying around. I couldn't find any clue
about
its use.

Bugs: Don't pick up the accounting book on the site of the van or you'll be
stuck
for good inside this mission.

Q: Where is the 'Beyond' ?
A: Go to the casks room and cast 'Gate' spell. You'll be transported to the
Beyond.

Q: Where's that sound come from?
A: Cast 'See Spirit' spell. The spirit will appear.

Q: How to kill this ghost? He's very difficult to kill.....
A: When the book appear on the table, quickly grab it and cast 'Gate' spell
again
to attract the ghost to the real world. Use the bazooka and the 'Blast Positive'
spell to knock him out.

Energy Clue:
The Beyond (over 100), The Bottling Room (90) and the Cask Room (80) has the
most
energy level in this mission. You could recharge your energy here.


Mission 3
NOURISHMENT FOR THE SPIRIT


Mission Objective:
A brand new fast food outlet in Austin, Texas, has had to close because of the
disturbance at the kitchen. On several occasions, the assistant managers
discovered absolutely delicious dishes in the kitchen, which is most unusual in
a
fast food outlet. None of the employees would have been able to cook them. You
have to find out where this food come.

Q: Where's the manager of this outlet?
A: Take the door on your left then enter the left door. The manager will talk to
you about the problem.

Q: What should I do now?
A: Try to investigate the surrounding. You'll find an interesting character who
is looking for the old recipe in the kitchen. Take the elevator in the garbage
room to access the lower floor. Push the button on the wall to activate the
elevator. Enter the locker room. Use the 'Telekinesis' spell to reach the old
menu which is floating on the left corner. Get it.

Q: How could I open the locked door here?
A: The manager has the key to this freezer room. Go back to the manager office.
You could pick up the key on the desk. He must be forget to take this key. Use
this key to unlock the freezer room. Before you enter this room, tune in
your 'Blast Positive' spell to level 4 and get ready to blast 4 entities inside
this room. Pick up the Elvis picture from inside the top fridge. Watch out for
the entity who guard this fridge also. Go back to manager and give him this
Elvis
picture. He'll bring an old cookbook and put it on the table. Pick it up.

Q: Where is the old record he's talking about?
A: Go to the kitchen and take the door to the back kitchen. You'll find a key on
the corner of the rightmost shelf. Enter the garbage room. Push the elevator
button and take the food elevator to the lower floor. Use the key to unlock the
trunk beside the elevator. Get the old record inside. Go back to the manager
office and play the record on the record player on the desk. It will unlock the
door in the freezer room.

Q: Where could I find the entrance to the cellar?
A: It's inside the second freezer room. Watch out for some entities when you
enter this room. You'll see a bricked section on the wall. Use the 'Gate' spell
to access the cellar. You'll find the old chef here. Give him the old cookbook
and he'll show you his gold. Pick this gold and give it to the manager. A voice
will tell you to go the restaurant. Go there and watch the story unfold.

Energy Level:
The Cellar (120), Manager Office (90) and the Freezer (70) has the most energy
level inside this mission.


Play Station version :
You don't need to play the record in order to open the second freezer room's
door. Follow this step to finish mission3:

Open the rectangular refrigerator on the floor (you can open only one of them)
and take the portrait of Elvis. The headwaiter will appear. You can either blast
him or not...just leave this room and get back to the owner's office to give him
the portrait.

He will tell you that he recently found out there's a cellar somewhere in the
fast-food.  Take the cookbook from his table and go back to the freezer room.
Open all freezer doors in order to open the door in front of you, then arm your
PK blast and enter the new room. ( If this won't work, go back to the owner
until
he will tell you to help yourself to the  freezer.) Blast the flying burgers
again and perform a "gate spell" in front of the cemented wall.

Shoot at the ghost-cook (you won't kill him) : he will leave and you'll find a
square-shaped yellow thing in one of the rooms. It's a pot of gold. Take it,
perform a "gate spell", go back to the owner and give him the gold. He' ll leave
to Florida and Mr. Pinsard (the ghost-cook) will be more than happy to own the
place again. Go to the restaurant's  dining-room and watch the animation.


Mission 4
WUTHERING EMPIREHEIGHTS


Mission Objective:
Several people have made a dramatic falls at the Empire State Buildings in
Manhattan. Although the bodies have been found between forty and one hundred
meters away from the building (distances that no human being could possibly
jump), it's the last place where these people were seen alive.

Q: What should I do with this maid?
A: Cast 'Exorcism' to free her soul.

Q: How could get that floating ticket?
A: Cast 'Telekinesis' spell to drop the ticket. Pick it up.

Q: Where could I use the ticket?
A: Enter the left door and give it to the counter on your right. She'll give you
the boarding pass. Take this pass and give it the custom officer at the customs.
He'll sign your pass so you could show it to the hostess (I wonder why they
don't
make this simple ......) at the departure hall. Beside the entrance you could
find Father Bathandier in the waiting room who worried about a person called
Hans. He told you to stop him before he does more damage.

Q: Which Hans should I deal with?
A: Hans Krueger, the captain, is the trouble maker. You could find him in the
cockpit of the Hindenberg.


Q: How could I enter Captain Hans cockpit?
A: You got to find a child first. Only child allowed inside Captain cockpit.

Q: How could I make this child following me to the cockpit?
A: Ruin his 3 toys first. You could find them at the cabin walkway (the bear),
bar one, and bar two (airplane). The child will ask you to the cockpit after
that. You could recharge your energy level by entering all the cabins in the
plane (10 each).

Q: What should I do with Hans now?
A: OK, you have to attract him to the air terminal. Get his log book and run
like
hell to the air terminal. He'll follow you everywhere you go. Just play hide and
seek with him until your contact told you to go to the room with windows and put
your datalyzer on the ground.

Q: Where is this room with windows?
A: It's the room called 'Store and Windows' on your map above. Drop the
datalyzer
on the floor and watch the ending.

Energy Level:
Ticket office (150), Bar (90) and the Departure Hall (80) have the most energy
level.


Mission 5
STRANGE COMPANY


Mission Objective:
Two months ago, a New-York journalist was hired by Mrs. Windham, a seventy-year-
old lady, to look into the successive deaths of her son, her daughter-in-law,
and
her two grand-children. They all died in their sleep at home at intervals of
several weeks. She's the last survivor in the house. She wants to find out the
truth of the deaths.

Q: How could I unlock the other doors?
A: Go to the master bedroom upstair and pick up the family portrait on the
fireplace. Show it to Mrs. Windham. She'll give you the key to unlock the other
rooms.

Q: Where is the entity?
A: Browse around every rooms, pick up the universal key on the bench in the
garage (this will unlock the master bedroom later on), and go back to report
this
investigation to her. She'll tell you to check the office accross the hall. It
has some strange noises in it. The entity will appear in the form of cat.

Q: How could I destroy this entity?
A: Remember the cat has nine lifes. That's why you have to destroy it nine
times.
Use the 'Sense Spirit' spell to track him. One time the entity will appear as
Mrs. Windham in the kitchen ..... you just have to talk with her for a while and
when she got nothing to say anymore, she'll reveal her true nature.

Clues:
Don't try to use the 'Drain' spell here because the energy level is so low. Be
wise on spending you 'Blast Positive' spell. Try to attack the entity in an wide
open room and avoid small rooms.



Mission 6
SUNSET CITY


Mission Objective:
Sun City is built for wealthy senior citizens. Eighteen people have died
mysteriously over the last six months. All of them died of exhaustion and found
with their faces contorted in horror. The mayor of the city called the
organization to investigate this matter.

Q: What should I do first?
A: Go meet the mayor in his office. The sherrif also will tell you about this
matter. After talking with the mayor, visit the local examiner. Talk with him
about the cause of the death. Your contact will tell you to cast 'Trance' spell
on the body.

Q: It won't allow me to cast 'Trance' spell on the body. Did I do wrong?
A: You have to wait until the coroner leave. Go visit the restaurant and talk
with Mrs. Crumble. Go back to the coroner again. Cast 'Trance' on the death
body.
John Sheridan's spirit will tell you about stone statue and his anger. Visit the
chapel and the minister will tell you about an old Fresco.

Q: Who else involve with this matter?
A: Go to the Crumble Residence. Talk with him. Look around their residence to
get
some energy level. Go to Restaurant. Talk with Mrs. Crumble. He'll tell you that
her husband got sick. Go back to Chambler residence. Talk to the minister and
Mrs. Crumble. They both say that he's in a critical condition. Go to his room
and
talk with him.

Q: What next?
A: Go back to the Restaurant Bar and talk with the Sherrif. He'll tell you that
the minister came earlier and left a strange statuette here. Visit the small
room
on the top right corner. Take the statuette on the fireplace. Watch out for
Sheridan's spirit. Use 'Telekinesis Blast' spell on him. This is the most
effective spell for Sheridan. Get out. The Sherrif will tell you to go to
Crumble's house. Mr. Crumble isdeath now.

Q: I couldn't see Mr. Crumble in his room. How to unlock his room?
A: Talk with his wife. She'll give you a key. Unlock the bedroom. Cast 'Trance'
spell on his death body. The spirit will tell you about the link between the
statuette and the problem. Go to his office just accross the bedroom. Take the
second statuette. Talk back with Mrs. Crumble in the kitchen. She'll tell to
meet
Mayor in the City Hall. Talk with him and the coroner. Your contact will tell
you
to find the apprentice who help Sheridan in this town and cast 'Exorcism' spell
on him.

Q: Where could I find this Sheridan sidekick?
A: It's that strange minister. Go to the chapel. Use the 'Exorcism' spell on
him.
He'll be freed from Sheridan spell. He told you to find the 3 statuette and put
it on the round fresco at the City Hall.

Q: Where is the last statuette?
A: Talk with the coroner at the City Hall. He'll mention that the minister came
over to his office earlier and left a statuette there. Go to the examiner and
take the last statuette. Go to the city hall quickly and put all the statuettes
on the roundcarving. The ghost will appear and ask for a hand-to-hand combat.
After he's done with his speech, go visit him at the chapel.

Q: How could I defeat Sheridan? He's a tough opponent...
A: He's not if you have blast him several time with 'Telekinesis Blast' spell
earlier. If not, use the 'Repell Energy' spell to create a protection ring
around
you and attack him with 'Telekinesis Blast' spell.

Clues:
Don't try to use the 'Drain' spell here because there is no H energy detected.



Mission 7
BABY DON'T CRY


Mission Objective:
There's a strange thing happen in some apartments in San Fransisco. The last
three people who lived in it have all disappeared in mysterious circumstances.
You've been assigned to investigate this matter. This is the shortest mission in
the game. It's just plainly a 'Kill Them All' mission.

Q: What should I do to finish the mission?
A: Open the wardrobe and enter the beyond. You need to pick all the floating
letters from each room after you kill each guardians. At the end of the tunnel,
you'll see a baby on the altar. Put the letters on the top of the baby to form
the word: ADRHALN. The baby will shape shift into an ugly monster. Kill him and
pick up the sign on the floor.

Short Cut: You could forget collecting all the letters, just go straight to the
baby and shoot him (no .. I'm serious ... just shoot the baby and he'll shape
shift into the ugly monster). Kill him and get the sign.

Energy Level:
Don't try to use the 'Drain' spell here because there is no H energy detected.


Mission 8
FOR THE BEST .....


Mission Objective:
Lord Devender Jr., the heir to an old aristocratic Dutch family, has recently
contacted the organization to investigate a series death of the people
surrounding him. The first murder coincides with the death of his father, Lord
Devender. All of his fiancйes have been beaten to death but the police hasn't
figure it out which weapon is used to kill them.

Q: The maid told me that I couldn't meet Lord Devender because he's sick. what
should I do?
A: Just browse around first and kill all the entities you found. It will make it
easier for the final fight because they won't give you problem anymore. Don't
worry for your energy level because all the rooms have big energy level. When
you're done, visit him at his bedroom on the second floor. It's on the right
wing.

Q: Where is the clue for this strange disturbance?
A: Pick up the architecture report from one of the Junk room (the one on the
left
wing, close to your room). Show it to Lord Devender. He'll tell you to pick up
the map from the maid.

Q: Where is the maid?
A: Usually you could find her at the game room downstairs. She told you that she
have put the map in your bedroom. Go to the leftwing upstairs and pick up the
map. After a while, your contact will inform you about a secret attic on the
mansion.

Q: There's a strange noise in the library downstairs. What is that noise?
A: Pick up the bible on the desk. It will invoke its guardian. Kill it. Go to
the
chapel next door and meet Miss Olenka's spirit. She made a suicide in the past
when Lord Devender broke their engagement. Her good side already forgive him but
her dark side haven't (yup ... another dual-personality problem). You need to
find her evil spirit and destroy her.

Q: Where could I find this evil being?
A: Your contact soon will inform you that the gate to the attic could be found
in
the weapon room. Go to this Arm room and cast 'Gate' spell on the pentagram.
Pick
up the old portrait on the corner. It will invoke the evil being. Talk with her
and listen carefully when she mentions about the ring. Go back to the real world
by using the 'Gate' spell. There will be a cut scene about the arrival of Miss
Musetti, the new fiancйe.

Q: Where could I find this ring?
A: Ask Lord Devender about it. You could find him along Miss Musetti at the room
next to the chapel (the big game room). Miss Musetti will give you the ring. He
told you to find the maid for his bedroom's key.

Q: Where is the maid?
A: You could find her in her bedroom upstairs. Look at the map to help you. Get
the key. Go to Devender's bedroom. Use the small key to open the casket.
Cast 'Exorcism' spell if you couldn't get the ring. Sometimes it is blocked by
some strange force. The evil being will appear and get mad. Now it's time to
protect Miss Musetti from her.

Q: Where is Miss Musetti?
A: You could find her downstairs in the library. Use the combination of 'Repell
Energy' and 'Blast Positive' spells to kill the evil being. If you have tune in
the 'Blast Positive' spell at level 10, you should be able to finish her off
easily. Chase her around if she tries to escape. Most of the time you could find
her near the staircase.


Mission 9
CANNED LARVAE


Mission Objective:
Gehennic larva has given a wave of obsessive fear in the Northern United States.
The preliminary investigations lead to the same conclusion: 'the entities' must
have been packed in cans of meatballs. The factory, which has been owned by
Walter Simmons, seems like the source of this disaster. He seems a trustworthy
fellow though. The place is quite remote and well protected against intrusion.
The organization has asked you to investigate this matter.

Level hints: Increase your Blast Positive and Repell Energy level to maximum.
You'll need them badly here. Basically this is another "Shoot them all" level.

Q: Where could I find Walter Simmons ?
A: Ask the workers inside this factory. They will lead you to one of the
warehouse. Surprise !! It's a trap. You got locked up in this room with those
deadly flying creatures. Blast them with your spell. This level is a good place
to use your Repell Energy spell.

Q: How could I open the locked door?
A: You'll see an axe floating at one of the corner of this room. Use your
Exorcism spell to drop the axe down. Use the axe to break the panel beside the
locked door. This act should open the door. Starting from now you have to be
ready to face lots of enemies. Blast them all.


Q: Where is Walter Simmons?
A: You have to stop the factory machine from producing the cans. Walter Simmons
will appear after that. The switch to stop the machine is located in the room
shown below. Flip the switch and the machine will stop producing cans. Go back
to
the starting point. Walter Simmons should stand there.

Q: Where is the High Book?
A: The book is kept inside a locked trailer at the Filling Room. Walter Simmons
got the key to unlock the door. Kill him (protect yourself with Repell Energy
spell). Don't accept his offer. You'll see a key floating in the air. Use
Exorcism to drop the key. Use the key to unlock the trailer. Get the High Book
on
the desk.



Q: Where could I find this dark lord?
A: Once you got the book then you could access the Beyond. Use the Gate spell
anywhere in this warehouse (except inside the trailer) and you'll be transferred
to the basement. I've tried it at the starting point and the filing room. I
think
it should work in every room also.

Q: How could I defeat this evil creature?
A: The best weapon to kill this creature is by using your High Book of Magic.
Get
it ready at your hand then use any spell to blast him. After 4 or 5 strikes you
should be able to kill him.


Mission 10
KENDHALL'S MANOR


Mission Objective:
This final mission is another 'Kill the All' level. Prepare yourself with all of
those powerful spells you could obtain. A fortified manor in Scotland has been
haunted for centuries by an extremely powerful entity. All of the owner and
their
relatives have been disappear tragically. Lord Mac Kendall has made a deal with
the devil so that he killed all of the mansion's builders, artisans, his wife,
his children and the manor successive owners in a huge banquet. His powerful
main
device is a recreation fountain of the four elements. He freeze it to build a
way
between this world and the beyond. You have to get rid of him by reactivate the
fountain.

Q: What should I do first?
A: Try to find these 2 items: Book of Magic and Magic Scriptum. You could find
Book of Magic at the Laboratorium Sinistrae and Magic scriptum is located at
Biblion. Use Exorcism spell to drop them so you could pick them up. But .....
this task ain't that easy. You need to blast all the elementals that guard those
sacred items.



Fighting hints: Air Elementals are easy to defeat by using Call Spirit (at
maximum level) spell. The Earth and Water elementals don't have any chance to
stand against Blast Positive spells (at maximum level). And the Fire elementals
are disposable easily by using Call Entity/Spirit spell. Be sure to protect
yourself by using Repell Energy spell. The flying dragons are easy to defeat by
using Telekinesis Blast spell.

Q: How could I reactivate the fountains?
A: Go to the four antechambers and use Gate spell to travel to their inner
chambers called Narthex. Push the switch on the stone pedestals. After you push
the fourth switches, the locked door at the Golden Pentagram room will be
opened.
Use the Gate spell to travel back to the antechambers. Go to the unlocked door
at
the Golden Pentagram room. Prepare yourself to blast several more spirits.

Q: How could I unlock the door at the end of the tunnel?
A: Enter the room to your left (Enclave of Torments). Flip the lever on the
middle stone pedestal. Three spirits will appear and attack you. Blast them all.
Use Exorcism spell to drop the Volsorium Mesomorphe tile. Place this tile inside
the hole on the locked door. Open it and enter.
