You'll find on this page a detailed list of the steps you'll have
to perform to play from the beginning to the end of Isabelle.
That list does not include any sub-stories that exist in the game,
only the main track.
Some of the events will surly happen differently when you'll play,
as characters behaviors is not always predictable. After the intro,
go into the room at your left. Play a while with the model. Come back
into the room. The mother will go away. You can then go out of the
house. Go forward until you reach a little boy. Get close to him. This
is the little brother Raymond. From now you can switch from George
to Raymond using the Inventory. Still with George, get out of the
garden until you're caught by the policeman. In jail, talk with the
photographer. Wait for Isabelle. She'll take you out of jail soon. The
day after, manage the aggression that'll happen when you'll get out of
the house. Walk around with Raymond and find the hospital (it's a red
hot-dog like building, you'll find it turning right at the exit
of George's garden and walking a few sets). Enter the hospital.
Go back into the model room with George. Take the blue flask that
Isabelle's brother (the tall guy in orange) let. Drink the flask
on top of the model: you'll dive inside the model. Now that you're
inside the model, you can reach the hospital and help Raymond (who
is in the real town) to enter. To do so, hit the nurse which is at
your left when entering. The second nurse will come to help her.
Switch to Raymond in the real town. He can now pass. Enter Paul's
hospital room (the big guy that was ran over with George at the
beginning). Watch carefully what's the nurse is doing with the
photographer. Exit the hospital. Dive in the model again and come back
to the hospital. Enter Paul's Room with George. Fight the tall acolyte
who's drugging Paul. Watch the icon in the right-bottom corner.
It represents Paul. Each time Paul is drugged, the icons become
transparent. It then slowly fills up with color. One of your task
is to avoid Paul being drugged until the icons completely fills-up,
until Paul completely recovers. Go with Raymond to the village main
square (the place with a big orange building). Look at the dormer
window which is near the moving walkway (the one which is going down).
You'll see the big Acolyte who drugs Paul walking. Raymond can visit
the Bar (which is down the moving walkway). This is another step where
the drugging acolyte goes. But he does not only drug Paul. He also
provide the barman with some flasks. The nurses drink them. Go the the
acolytes laboratory (the set with the blue mountains). Go on top of
the laboratory and scoff at the Acolytes. The photographer will come.
He will begin to learn you a song that will really make the acolytes
mad. Don't forget, until you get the "gold music note" flashing,
to continue your singing lesson each time you'll meet the
photographer. Jump into the model with George. Once inside the model,
follow Christophe (the tall guy with one leg, Isabelle's brother).
He will lead you to a house where he plans a baby kidnapping. After
the baby kidnapping, try to get the picture the photographer took
during this event. Go to the main square and stick the picture on the
wall. This will help moving people from the village to your side. Try
to announce the baby kidnapping the the father, softly. Once Raymond
knows how to sing, he can scoff at the acolyte who comes to drug Paul.
When he does so, the acolyte will run after him. If he succeeds
to take a moving walkway, the acolyte won't be able to follow you and
will fall. After falling, he goes back to the laboratory, giving
up his way to the hospital. Play that little trick until Paul's icon
is completely full (you'll hear a little music). Then rush to the
hospital (you can also do so with George in the model) and talk
to Paul. He's awake. He'll give you his house key. Enter Paul's house
(just the set south of the hospital) and take the lift up. If you take
the moving walkway left, you'll go to the mine. That's not very useful
for now (except to watch how the mine is working), an acolyte will
surely hit you and throw you back on the moving walkway. If you go
right, you'll soon reach a crossing. Going left will lead you to some
sets strongly guarded by some acolytes. You will also find there the
mechanics workshop. Take a while to talk with him. It's VERY important
that he becomes a friend. Going right will lead you on a tower on the
village main square. You'll find there a big button. Just push it: far
away, at the mine, the acolytes panic, they go hiding into a hole.
This button trigger a kind of alarm. Rushing back to the mine while
they are hiding would be a good idea. But if you try, you'll see that
the moving walkway is not fast enough to get there before they come
back to work. So, you need George. But there is a problem with George:
the only way to reach the tower, or the mine is through Paul's house,
and (as you may have noticed it), Paul's house is not in the model.
If George go there in the model, he will just fall down in nowhere.
So he needs to come in the real town. So the simplest and shortest way
is to take the elevator in George's house (you may use Raymond to get
the elevator in the right position) then take the moving walkway left
toward the hospital. You then only have a small way to Paul's house
to walk by foot. Once on the upper platform, send George right, on the
main square tower. Get him ready to push the alarm button. Launch
Raymond left, toward the mine. Push the alarm button with George.
Raymond can now reach the mine panel. Make him start the mine (using
the wheel). The acolytes will stay in their hole while the mine
is running. Raymond now controls the mine (using the three buttons and
the joystick of the mine panel). But, quickly, all this work looks
quite useless. Raymond controls the mine; and then... He puts stones
in wagons, he sends wagons out, he waits wagons coming back...
If Raymond miss a mine stone (or give up), the stone falls down the
mountain toward the village. One of the acolytes then comes and takes
care of him. Going back to the main square, he founds the stone,
in the middle of the road. He cannot push it. The stone is too heavy.
Go back to the main square with George. It is very likely you'll
be arrested by the policeman (you quite deserve it, after messing
up the mine). Your blue flask (the one you use to dive into the model)
will be taken away. Try pushing the stone again with Raymond. The
mechanics will come to help you, giving you a spanner (he certainly
cannot help you pushing the stone, he's too old!). If he doesn't come,
he's probably busy, or maybe angry with you. If this happen search him
and talk with him a couple of time. A spanner is not exactly what you
needed. But you can try something. Go to the dormer window near the
bar entrance and break it. Now you're in jail with your brother. But
the mechanics, who's really friendly, gives you a file. You can then
escape from jail. When you reach the jail entrance, passing near the
policeman, DO NOT walk discreetly: the policeman will follow you, but
that's on purpose (otherwise, George will never be able to escape).
So, as soon as the policeman follows you, run away, quite far (the
best is to take one big moving walkway) and then switch to George.
Escape from jail and reach the stone on the main square. Push the
stone toward the broken dormer window, until it falls into the tunnel
Rejoin George (by escaping again from jail if you were caught - you
can then use the discreet walk). Look in the tunnel. One acolyte
is blocked behind the stone and completely mad. One the other side
of the stone are several blue flasks that the acolyte dropped when the
stone felled. Go into the bar. The bar is empty. The barman is sad,
not having any customer. Enter the tunnel. And get the blue flask one
the floor. Rejoin George and give him the blue flask (so he can dive
into the model again - don't be sad, you cannot do anything yourself
with the flask except being sick). Go to the acolytes laboratory. They
are completely mad, screaming. This is time for 'le coup de grace':
go on the top of the laboratory and begin to sing. One of the acolyte
won't support it. He'll come up using the lift. Carefully reach him:
he will hit you and will take you away. As usual, the photographer
takes some pictures of the event. The lift stays up... Raymond
is locked in a dark unknown goal. Dive into the model and go to the
laboratory. Take the lift down. Fight the acolyte and win! (there is
a special hit you can perform pressing the two action buttons). The
acolyte will fall down, messing everything around and putting the
laboratory in fire. Find the photographer and get the picture
of Raymond's kidnapping. Go and stick it on the main square. By then,
a lot of people is going to come and look at the picture (order may be
different, depending on where the characters are). With Raymond and
the file, you can try to escape from the goal. A small tunnel will
lead you in a big water cave. Isabelle come and looks at the picture.
She begins to yell, and runs toward More's castle. When Isabelle
enters the goal, come toward her and climb into her skirt. Practice
a while walking into the skirt: move the joystick (or keyboard) right
and left according to the joystick icon onscreen (or according to the
left and right foot of Isabelle). Once you have practiced enough
(Isabelle will decide so), Isabelle will lead you out of the castle.
You can leave the skirt as soon as you are on the next set. We will
need to do it again to pass the next bridge which is guarded by the
acolyte. George's mother looks at the picture. She becomes mad,
shaking her husband, shouting. She run toward the first bridge and hit
one acolyte to death. He flees, dropping a red flask. Retrieve this
flask with Raymond and give it to George. After that, dive into the
model using the red flask. You'll end up near the same bridge. Rejoin
Raymond. Now, it's time to team up again with him. Begin to scoff
at the acolyte guarding the bridge. As soon as he begins to run toward
you, flee the fastest you can. Switch to George. While Raymond is in
trouble, run on to the bridge and go toward More's castle. You will
fall down into nowhere: More's castle does not exist in the model.
Dive into the model again and go to the mechanics workshop. He has
a plan: He will build a part for the model representing More's castle,
but he needs a picture of it and he also needs water to flow down the
river to have its tools wheel turning. Go behind the hospital. You'll
find the photographer ... with the nurse. His camera is on the floor
behind them. Reach them, walking in a discreet way, and take the
camera. Come back to the second bridge. Still in the model, come back
to the second bridge. Begin to fight with the acolyte. While George
is fighting, go through the bridge toward More's castle. Be careful
to stay away from the acolyte which is guarding the castle. Take
a picture and come back to the bridge. George who loose the fight
is still KO. Let the acolyte hit and catch you. You're again in the
dark gaol. Escape from it and reach the cave. You'll find a boat. Find
your way back (through the river) to George's home. In the real town,
reach the landing stage which is just behind George's garden wall. Get
on the boat where Raymond is waiting for you. Go back to the dam (this
is the river set which is behind the blue set and the mechanics
workshop set). When you're there, climb on George's shoulders and have
the dam wheel turning. Go back to the mechanics workshop (the fastest
way is through the river, getting off at the little beach) and give
him the picture. After a while he will give you the missing part for
the model. Go back to George's garden by boat. Give the model part
to George. Go to the model and set the castle part. Dive into it and
reach the boat (be sure Raymond is still in it). Go to More's castle
by boat, reach the cave. Get off the boat and enter the dark gaol. Get
off the boat and reach the goal. Hide near the left side of the door.
Go as far as possible from the door (staying in the gaol of course),
and begin to sing. And acolyte will enter and hit you. Switch
to George at the right moment. Exit the gaol, run in the corridor.
You're in the castle yard. Enter the tower. You're now facing More.
Try to get the baby back.
