Pablo Ramirez: The Starbearer

-aka Paul Stanley

Water Realm

This is the Water Realm. The old avatars are powerless, lost in the void with
their masters. It is you that have been favored to be the Starbearer's champion
in this time of desperation. Your journey will be a perilous one. From the
moving shadows of tattered back streets, through the haze of the city heart, you
must pass through hallowed halls to finally reach into the circus and strike at
the root of evil. The contamination from the Nightmare Child is already seeping
out of the seams of the cosmos, giving darkness eyes to see with . . and fangs
to
tear with. Steal yourself! Fear will take shape before your eyes.

Mission 1: Bad Streets

Your journey will begin in the Roadhouse, the type of place where guys have
longer hair than their women and everyone has a Harley Davidson tattoo. Some on
their forehead. Madame Raven will speak to you right off the bat, telling you
to go upstairs and arm yourself. Sure enough, near the edge of the loft is
Pablo's melee weapon, the Thornblade, along with the Elder's Gauntlets.

Before heading down the stairs, take a running leap off of the loft onto the
metal pipes near the ceiling fan. Walk the pipes to the wall to grab a Rose.
Nothing better than starting off the game with an extra 100HP!

Descend back down the stairs and use your new blade to slice through the fencing
over the bar. Dive over the bar like you were one of the rowdy regulars and
flip
the switch on the wall. A door opens and your first swarm of Headless pony up
to the bar. Chop them down with the Thornblade, grab the health tubes if
necessary, and jump back over the bar.

Opposite the bar, down the small hallway next to the stage is a jukebox. Give
yourself some tunes to listen to while you hack and slash through your first few
Headless. Be sure to double-back to the juke when the song's over to pick up
the
ammo that will appear. Open the door nearest the jukebox, admire yourself in
the
mirror for a moment, and then grab the ammo from the floor.

Across from the stage, near the picnic table, is a door to a closet. Go in and
grab the pamphlet and health flask. Journey down the hallway opposite the
stage. Smash the wooden crates around the bend, past the locked door, to reveal
a Jack-in-the-Box. Go through the next door to the storage room. Bludgeon the
Headless that attack from the right. Collect the Black Diamonds and other
goodies from the shelving and then open the door to the small room. Grab the
Pamphlet but don't worry about not being able to reach the Key for now. You'll
drop in from the top ledge soon enough.

Begin up the spiral staircase in the other room. Kill the Headless and grab the
Jack-in-the-Boxes and health vial if need be. Proceed ahead into the next area,
smashing the boxes and killing the Headless that leap out. Swipe your blade at
the yellow electrical panel to open the door. Go inside and collect the hidden
bounty (don't miss the Hawk Eyes nearest the window) but be sure not to fall
through the holes. Oh, sure, you could finish the first part of the mission in
record time, but what fun would that be?! Remember to return to this area when
you get a gun. That way you'll have the range to shoot out the stained glass
lantern and get the ammo it drops.

Dozens of Headless will be emanating from two Spawners ahead (think Gauntlet).
When the doors on your left open, run in and crush the generator. Head to the
back of the room and grab the Zero Cannon. If you took too much damage in that
exchange, be sure to return to the bar and stage downstairs to grab some health.

Now head for the second Spawner around the corner. Shoot it up and grab the
extra ammo and health flask, as well as the Black Diamonds. Behind a now-open
door along the wall across the room is a hole in the floor. Drop down to
collect
a huge bounty in ammo, Jack-in-the-Boxes and health. Just over the ledge is the
Key. As you move towards the ledge two Headless will leap up at you. Frag them
with your Zero Cannon and carefully drop down onto the Key.

Although you now have the key and can exit the Roadhouse, don't do it. There's
still another Secret to find, along with some more items. Go back up the spiral
stairs to the room with the holes in the floor; the one you had to access by
destroying the electrical panel. Carefully run off the ledge into the hole in
the floor away from the stained glass window. With some luck you will not fall
through the hole directly below you, but will land on the middle floor, in an
area you have not seen yet. Kill the Headless and jump onto the pipes. Work
your way around to the right to find the second secret and the rest of the
items.

Jump down off the pipes, open the door with the Key, and enter the last hallway.
Stand back and shoot the oil drums to blast open the door. Don't take that
breath of relief yet, your only half done with this mission.

Step out of the Roadhouse and into the streets. A couple of mini T-rex's called
Stumps will attack from the alleyway to your right. The Stumps, unlike the
Headless, have a ranged firebomb attack as well as an up-close bite. You'll
want
to strafe side-to-side as you gun them down. Gather up the ammo along the wall,
not missing the one behind the ductwork in the corner by the water. Kill the
Headless throughout the area and gather up all the items you see fit. Make note
of where the sign for the Docks is, you'll be going there once you're better
prepared.

Head back to the wall nearest the Roadhouse and make your way down the alleyway
to the next open area. Things are going to seem pretty chaotic at first as
swarms of Headless, Stumps, and Batwings will be coming for you time after time.
Across from where you enter the area is a shed. Open the door, grab the
Pamphlet, and remember where the Key is. Once you acquire the second shard of
armor your jumping ability will be much better so don't be discouraged about
your
lack of ups.

The main area has several health potions on the fence posts, as well as a Rose
at
the end of the walkway. Don't take them until you absolutely need to. And
trust
me, you'll need to. As you move towards the staircase at the far end Headless
will leap out of the windows from the warehouse. Light 'em up and head down the
stone steps.

Shooting on the move, blow your way through the Stumps and grab the items to the
right. Head through the small opening left of the stairs and make a dash for
the
water. Collect all of the ammo from the two tunnels as well as the deep
sections
of the pool. Climb out via the ladder and take cover under the building ahead.
Kill the creatures, grab the items, and definitely grab the Magma Cannon in the
orange-lit alcove. Keep a close on your ammo reserves with this one, as it
drain
4 ammo points per squeeze of the trigger. Leave the area and head up the stairs
near the billboard.

Once in the red brick building, grab the health and the Hawk Eyes and shoot out
the lantern for more ammo. Continue ahead, out of the building and onto the
platform. Using the Zero Cannon, push straight ahead for the Spawner, With
less
Stumps being produced, you'll be able to explore a little better. Return
towards
the red brick structure and take the ammo to the left of the stairs. Now, drop
down off the walkway onto the ground and explore the area.

Continue grabbing all of the ammo and health you can carry, all the while
massacring anything that moves. There are two small openings on the ground
level: one under the upper platform and a second across from the wooden doors of
the Indigo Palace. Clear the area of spawn and grab the items from under the
platform and amongst the crates in the corner. Now head for the crawlspace
opposite the Indigo Palace doors and flip the switch.

The doors to the Palace open and two Blademasters instantly attack. Take them
down in HP with the Zero Cannon, and then switch to your Thornblade to finish
them off. Weave back and forth as you move in for the kill with the Thornblade
to prevent being hit.

With the Blademasters out of the way, move to the rear of the palace and grab
the
second piece of the armor. Grab the Pamphlet and the ammo and then turn your
crosshair on the beautifully constructed stained glass windows. Blowing them to
pieces will reward you with a shower of ammo. Leave the Palace.

Now, with the help of the second armor fragment, leap up to grab that bundle of
ammo you couldn't reach earlier. Don't forget the Jack-in-the-Box in the
corner! Now you can head for the Docks. Just remember to grab the Key from the
shed first.

Under the sign for the Docks is a skull. "Use" the skull and a Black Diamond
will appear. Grab it!

Head down the stairs leading to the Docks. Blow apart the Spawner and the
Stumps
it continuously produces. Pick up all of the ammo tablets and the pamphlet.
Head down the next set of stairs and use the key to unlock the gate.

Round the corner to your right and hold onto the trigger. Strafe left to right
while mowing down the attacking Stumps. Craw under the water tower to grab the
items. Now, jump down into the water to the right. Pick up all of the ammo and
climb the ladder to the very top.

On the ledge high above the water tower is the third and final secret spot. As
soon as you get to the top of the ladder turn around and start firing. Some
marauding Stumps got to get put down first. Grab the Hawk's Eye and the
Pamphlet
and then leap down behind the water tower.

With the area clear of baddies, run to the edge of the wooden walkway and flip
the switch to open the doors to the next area. You'll be faced with several
threats to your safety as you go through the doorway so you better keep moving.
Headless, Stumps, and the first boss will be gunning for you right from the get-
go. Grab the ammo from against the far wall and dive into the water. Kill the
Stumpy on the far ledge and then pick up the ammo from the water. Swim under
the
wooden walkway to find more ammo.

Arachniclown has a powerful laser blast that can do tremendous damage. Here's a
tip on beating him without: 1) ever getting hit, and 2) never even having to
move. Position yourself in the water just out from under the wooden planking.
Face the hallway where Arachniclown paces back and forth and watch for the
shadows of his movements. Keeping your crosshair on the center window, fire
your
Magma Cannon whenever you see a flash of movement. Your shot will find its way
through the barred window and into the belly of the 8-legged beast.

With Arachniclown out of the way, climb out of the water, grab any health that
you might need and run up the ramp. A few last Headless will attack at the top
of the ramp. Dispatch them as quickly as they appear and grab the items and
open
the door. Proceed down the ramps to the mirror at the bottom. This mirror will
transport you to your next mission.

Mission 2: Pain Plaza

Pain Plaza begins with a slow elevator ride down into an abandoned building
complete with debris, dilapidated walls, and of course, plenty of spawn.
Proceed
ahead through the hallway past the first room on the right and around the bend.
Three Headless are around the corner. This is a great time to practice your
aiming. Take well-aimed precise shots at them, conserving your ammo for the
upcoming assaults. Continue on until you reach the impassable pile of debris.
Not a wasted trip mind you, the Black Diamonds and Jack-in-the-Box will come in
handy soon enough.

Return the way you came, this time entering the room on your left. Grab the
items and blast away the two breakable crates. The one on the upper ledge will
release a Headless. Blast him and crawl through the space to the next room.
Again you must shoot the crate and the Headless within it. Jump down, grab the
Jack-in-the-Box and get ready for some action.

Down the stairs to the right is a Spawner. It's going to be tough but resist
the
urge to run down the stairs and crush it. For as soon as you make a move down
the steps three Stumps attack from your rear. Who knows where they came from,
but turn around and waste them. Now go ahead and put away the Headless and the
Spawner from which they are generated.

If you've dipped below 100HP, retrace your steps to pick up the Health Vial near
the start of the mission.

Begin down the spiraling staircase and take a running jump over the white plasma
being shot across the stairs. Use your Black Diamonds to enter the Rage State,
you're going to need this boost of aggression. As soon as you round the corner
and enter the next hallway all hell breaks loose. Two side rooms, one on each
side, each have a Spawner generating an endless stream of Stumps. Run and jump
down the hall to the Spawner in the room on the right. Use the Magma Cannon to
obliterate it and grab the Black Diamonds along the wall. Switch back to the
Zero Cannon and backpedal to grab the health flasks in the far end of the room.
Keep firing and strafing until there is a lull in the number of Stumps attacking
you. Switch back to the Magma Cannon and head back down the hall to destroy
the
other Spawner. Grab the ammo along the far wall before leaving.

Pick up the item at the end of the hall and follow the corridor ahead until you
see the Spawner. As was the case earlier, three Stumps attack from behind. No
ones got your back, so you better turn around and cover your rump from that
Stump! The Stumps are right on you so go ahead and gib them with the
Thornblade. Stay with the blade and hack your way to the Spawner. With the
last
enemy destroyed, the gate to the left will open, allowing access to the next
area. Grab the Pamphlet and Health Flask behind the Spawner before you move on.

Enter the next area to be introduced to the fifth enemy to make an appearance in
the game, the disgusting Gasbag. Head directly to the far left corner for the
ammo. In addition to the three Gasbags hovering in the center, two Stumps will
emerge on the far balcony. Take out the Stumps first, switch to the Magma
Cannon
and blast the disgusting Gasbags. The Gasbags will upchuck some sort of
rebounding vomitory goo at you. Keep on the move, watch for the rebounds and
you
should be ok.

Run down the spiral stairs to the bottom floor, picking up the Health Flask and
Jack-in-the-Box along the way. Behind the counter is another Health Flask and a
switch. Flip the switch to open the gate above, gaining access to the next
shard
of the armor. As soon as you do, two Gasbags and a slew of Headless drop down
to
greet you. Circle the room blasting the Headless, all the while dodging the
spewing nastiness from the Gasbags. As soon as the last Headless is limbless,
bust out the Magma Cannon and pop a very big cap in the two other baddies in the
room. Pick up the ammo they drop and return to the upper level.

Grab the Belt and take the lift downstairs. There's no going back now.

Step off the lift ready to do battle as you will be instantly swarmed by
Headless. Conserve your precious ammo by using the Thornblade to dismember them
limb by bloody limb. A pair of Stumps will emerge near the steps once the last
Headless is in a pile of guts. Dance around near the bar, dodging their blasts
of fire. One by one, they will grow anxious and charge you. Gib them with the
Thornblade when they do. Approach the stairs.

Under the small staircase is an alcove containing several Black Diamonds.
Crawl
under the steps to find this secret.

Head up the stairs, grab the Health Flasks, and enter the control room. Jump
onto the pipes to reach the ammo in the corner of the room. Jump back down and
turn the wheel. This will raise the fence on the ledge, allowing you to finish
the first part of Pain Plaza. But, before you go, you must defeat the
Blademaster. Dodge his initial attack and rush him, swinging the Thornblade
mercilessly. Finish him off and leave the area through the opening.

As you begin to climb the ramp, three Headless drop in to say hi. At the top of
the ramp turn around and grab the items behind you on the ledge. Among them is
the Pamphlet that details the Black Diamond. Continue down the hallway and make
a left. In the courtyard ahead as an Arachniclown. Using the Thornblade,
circle
around it until it shoots its lightning rays. Immediately after, move in and
swing twice. Then circle around again and again until its dead. Grab the ammo
it drops as well as the ammo and health along the wall. For your sake, these
past couple of Health Flasks should be unnecessary. You'll need them soon
enough.

Head up the step to the fountain (Don't jump in looking for pennies!!!), switch
to your gun of choice, and head towards the alleyway on the left. Behind the
wall to the left is a Spawner generating Headless, and down the alley ahead and
to the right, is another one spewing forth Stumps. If you keep near the
fountain, the Stumps will not detect you and you'll be able to clear them out
one
at a time. At the end of a path opposite the first Spawner is another Pamphlet.

Once your no longer under fire, you can grab the items above the hanging
lanterns
by jumping off of the fence posts near the stairs. The door here is locked, you
will return once you collect the key.

Return back to the cobble stone street below the fountain. To the far left,
down
a pathway is a Stump guarding some more ammo. Get it and then head to the path
under the green archways. Run ahead collecting all of the Black Diamonds, for a
Blademaster will begin throwing his flaming circular saw blades at you. After
getting the last of the items, return to face the Blademaster. Using the Magma
Cannon, stay on the move and fire right after he does. Once he's finished, move
on ahead inside the building with the purple wallpaper.

Grab the Jack-in-the-Box on the right, kill the three Stumps around the corner
to
the left and Spawner in the next room. Grab the Key and Health Flask and climb
the stairs to the attic door at the top. On a raised platform is another
Spawner
birthing Headless faster than you can say "umbilical cord". Use the Zero Cannon
from the corner of the room near the door and shoot at the top half of the
Spawner. Grab the Health, ammo, and, of course, the Windblade amongst the
rafters. You shouldn't need it, but there's another Health Vial behind the door
you opened. Head back down the steps.

Go around the bar and down the stairs along the far wall. Break apart the
middle steps and drop into the secret area. Two Spawners and a host of assorted
nastiness will attack at once. Throw some Jack-in-the-Boxes and use the Magma
Cannon to take them out. Watch for the Headless that busts out of the far wall.
Grab the items and return up the stairs and back to the fountain.

Return to the pair of locked doors at the end of the alleyway and use the Key to
enter the building. You have now found the library. Three Stumps will attack
from behind the door. Smoke 'em and then grab the health and ammo they were
guarding. Follow the walkway to the library. Pick up the items and then
continue on. Gasbags and a Blademaster are in the study. Watch for their
ranged
attacks (especially the rebounding ones the Gasbags spew forth) and use your
newly acquired gun to chop them down. Grab the ammo they yield as well as the
ammo and the health on the balcony. Leave the room through the wooden door.

This is where it gets weird. You leave the realm of reality (yes, in this case
clowns with spider-legs are reality) to emerge on a bookshelf in an immensely
overgrown environment. The walls are composed of books, each of which are
thicker than you are tall. Go too close to the edge and its over for you.
This
area of the mission is going to place a lot of emphasis on climbing, jumping,
and
exploring for all of the items that remain to be found.

Bust out the Thornblade and head for the top of the folded-over book. A small
army of enemies will attack from the other side. Once you dispose of them head
for the Health Flask and the ladder behind it.

Climb the ladder to the next shelf up. Here, you can grab a pair of
Jack-in-the-
Boxes. Carefully step back onto the ladder and climb to the next shelf. Twp
Gasbags will begin firing on you immediately. Step onto the ledge to your
right,
jump over to the Black Diamonds and strafe side to side while blowing them away
with the Magma Cannon. Use the Zero Cannon on the Spawner in the distance and a
Jack-in-the-Box on the mass of Headless that pile up on the far ledge. Jump
across the gap and duck between the first two books for some items. Approach
the
stack of books beyond the collapsed Spawner. Around the back of this stack is a
Health Vial, as well as a BladeMaster perched high above. Duck in and out from
behind the books to fire at him. A few shots with the Magma Cannon will bring
him down. Just ahead, behind the next upright book is a Stump guarding several
Black Diamonds. Further ahead is another Spawner. Rush right past it and up
the
Green Book. Turn around and fire the new gun at it. Quickly switch to the
Thornblade to chop up any of the survivors.

Approach the ledge of the shelf in front of the Spawner you just destroyed.
Fall
off the edge onto the beige book sticking out directly below. Now walk to the
left and fall onto the book below, allowing you to grab the Black Diamonds
there. Jump off the book, bust out the Thornblade and slice up the Spawner in
between the two books ahead. DO NOT GRAB THE ARMOR YET!

Head back to the ladder on the far side of the beige book. Descend the ladder
to
the bottom floor and grab the pair of Jack-in-the-Boxes. Climb the ladder back
up to the top and, once again, fall off the ledge onto the beige book on the
middle shelf.

A purple book sticks out on the shelf below. Take a running jump onto this
book. Don't worry about the damage you'll incur, there's a Health Flask there
to
make up for it. Grab the Pamphlet to learn about the Arachniclown. Drop off
the
book and climb the ladder you first ascended earlier on.

Retrace your footsteps back to the middle shelf. Perform one last check that to
see that you didn't miss any items, and then grab the next shard of armor, the
Vest. Upon grabbing the armor, you are transported to the other side of the
door
you entered back in the study. Quicksave before you go.

You will land right in a bee's nest. A couple of Stumps, a Spawner, and an
Arachniclown are all directly ahead of you. Use the Magma Cannon to take out
the
Stumps that are right on you and then aim for the clown. Grab some health if
you
need to and then run around the corner to bash in the Spawner. Grab the ammo
and
health down the hall. Turn the wheel to drain the fountain in the courtyard.
It
appears the main work has been done, all you have to do is fight your way out of
the library. It's not that easy.

In the study, at the top of the stairs, are several Stumps, some Headless, and a
few Gasbags hovering just out of sight. Use the Zero Cannon and a Jack-in-the-
Box to take care of the ground troops, then switch to your new gun to take care
of the Gasbags through the next doorway. Exit the library and head back towards
the fountain. An Arachniclown meets you halfway. Once the Arachniclown has
been
put away drop down into the fountain, grab the ammo, and jump in the hole to
move
on to the last section of the mission.

You begin the final part of the mission face-to-face with the Unipscyho. Back
away at once while firing your Zero Cannon. Headless will drop in through the
sewer pipes so keep moving. Continue circling the room until the Headless have
been destroyed, then switch to your newest gun and take distant shots at the
Unipsycho with it. Once you give him a permanent flat tire, grab the health and
ammo and descend into the sewers.

A Spawner lies ahead. Bring it down and then advance slowly towards the
spillway. Once you approach the ammo, a few Stumps attack from the rear. It's
the old "where did they come from" story again. Blow them away and grab the
ammo
at the edge. Using your Windblade, blast the pile of crates below, sending to
hell any Headless that survive the initial blast. Jump down off the ledge.

Two Blademasters are positioned above you on the left side of the room. Using
one of your bigger guns, stay on the move and take them out. Watch for the
crossfire. Climb the ladder in the opposite corner from where you entered the
room, grab the items there and turn and jump to the wooden platform with the
Diamonds.

From the wooden platform, run and leap onto the ledge where the other
Blademaster stood to locate this next secret. Return to the landing near the
ladder you climbed.

Begin down the tunnel, making the first right you come to and following it to
some ammo and health. Turn back around and equip yourself with the big gun.
Rush ahead and pop the Spawner around the bend before it even gets operating.
Backpedal and fire a shot at the Stumps that are also in the vicinity. Destroy
the second Spawner from a distance, before it too, even gets operational. Grab
the Health if you need

Run up the ramp and turn around ASAP! A Blademaster will begin throwing his
curving sawblades at you immediately. Three shots with your big gun is all it
will take. Once dead, take a running leap onto the platform he stood upon
to "find" the next secret. Grab the items (especially the Rose), jump down, and
move on.

You will come out of the tunnel in a large room, complete with a stunning night
sky, hundreds of crates, and of course, all the wholesome badness you can
handle. Nearly two dozen Headless and Stumps will attack at once. Throw a
couple of Jack-in-the-Boxes if you got the room, and use a user-friendly weapon
like the Zero Cannon or the Thornblade to eradicate the rest.

It should come of no surprise to you that there are many items hiding in the
nooks and crannies of the pile of crates. Facing the pile you can find: several
Black Diamonds in the top right, ammo along the rear wall to the left, and a
Jack-
in-the-Box and a Rose in the middle of the stack on the left. In addition to
having over 200HP, you should have the Rage Orb fully powered up by accumulating
over 40 Black Diamonds.

Climb the small steps, grab what you need, and approach the valve. By turning
the valve you open the gated area of the main chamber, but also cause the
poisonous ooze to begin accumulating. Hurry back to the main room, descend the
ladder, and enter the tunnel towards the Jack-in-the-Box on the far platform. It
is highly recommended that you Quick Save here.

Upon grabbing the item, you launch yourself into a dreaded jumping exercise.
With the deadly goo rising up from the floor you must jump from platform-to-
platform, back and forth across the room in a zig-zag pattern. After the fourth
jump you will see a tunnel on the far side where several Stumps and Gasbags
await
your arrival. Strafing (careful not to fall off the ledge) and firing the Magma
Cannon will clear a path for your safe passage.

Head through the tunnel into a tall tower with a spiraling staircase. More
Gasbags and countless Headless attack you at once. Blast the Gasbags of the air
while avoiding the Headless. Then, using the Thornblade, charge up the stairs
and dismantle the Spawner and the rest of the Headless. Don't use the Looking
Glass just yet; there's three more secrets to find! Don't worry, they're right
under your nose.

Return to the bottom of the spiraling staircase. Jump from the stairs into the
small arched tunnel above the lantern to find the secret. Grab the Pamphlet to
learn about Madame Raven.

Above Secret #6 is another small arched tunnel wherein lies a secret. This one
only holds a Jack-in-the-Box, but who cares? Got to pad those statistics!

You guessed it! Above Secret #7 is another secret tunnel, this one yielding an
impressive Rose for your trouble. Fitting, for this makes up for all the damage
you incur if you happen to plummet to the floor below.

Climb the stairs and use the Looking Glass to move on to the next mission.

You begin the third mission outside the Cathedral on a grassy courtyard. Three
Gasbags hover to your left and an army of Headless come at you from all angles.
Use the Thornblade to chop down a few of the Headless and then switch to the
Magma Cannon or Windblade to go after the Gasbags. Just be sure to stay to the
right side (facing the Cathedral) of the yard, as many more enemies lurk on the
far side. A Pamphlet lies behind the column to the right of the locked door.
Grab it and head to the other side of the yard ready for a fight.

As soon as you cross the yard a Blademaster and nearly a dozen Headless attack.
Circle the yard firing the Windblade at the Blademaster while heaving
Jack-in-the-
Boxes at the Headless. With the coast clear, grab the Health Flask and pass
under the arch towards the tower.

A Unipsycho and a half-dozen Stumps attack you at once. Circle the central
tower
hitting them with everything you got. Once they have been eliminated, the gate
to the tower opens, revealing the Scourge and some health. Back out of the
tower
to avoid the Headless that fall from above. Toss a Jack-in-the-Box at them and
then move in and use the Scourge to grapple onto the ring high above. Jump onto
the platform and cut up any remaining Headless and grab the goods.

Carefully step out the window onto the flying buttress. Cross over to the roof
and approach the balcony to the right. A Unipsycho rolls towards you but you
should have no problem dropping him with the Zero Cannon while he wrestles with
the fence on the balcony. Jump on to the balcony and grab the ammo along the
wall. Round the corner and kill the Headless and move on. A Key to the
Cathedral is just ahead. Run and get it and then kill the Gasbags that bust
through the window to get you.

Head back towards the window you climbed out of. Below the ledge you stepped
out
onto is another one with a Pamphlet. Run off the roof of the building onto this
lower buttress and grab the Pamphlet. Jump down and head to the front of the
Cathedral, where you began the mission. Use the Key to enter and kill the four
Stumps that attack.

Shoot the door to the left. It breaks apart revealing a Secret Rage Orb, an
awesome item to find.

Grab the Health Flask and the three Jack-in-the-Boxes across the hall. Begin
down the long corridor. As you near the door you will be attacked by more
Headless and a couple Gasbags. A couple of Jack-in-the-Boxes for the Headless
and the Magma Cannon for the Gasbags and you're good to go. Pick up the ammo
for
the Windblade and switch to it since a Unipsycho is going to leap out of the
stairs at you. Blow him to hell and grab the ammo he drops before entering the
stairwell. Pick up the Health Flask and climb the ladder to the ledge above.

Walk out onto the beams to get the ammo and then slowly approach the door. In
the next hallway on the right are two Stumps. To the left, where the ledge goes
high above the central room, are a half-dozen Gasbags. Use the wall of the
hallway for cover as you alternate shots with them. Once you pop the last
Gasbag
continue on ahead, mindful of the Stump that is going to jump out from around
the
corner. Blast him with the Magma Cannon and grab the items there and further
down the hall near the ladder.

Descend the ladder to the floor below. Take aim at the face-shaped fountain on
the wall. Fire at it to reveal Health Vials. This will work six times. Switch
to the Windblade and run into the room on the left and blast the Spawner there
before it gets up and running. Quicksave your progress, use the Rage Orb, and
pass through the door.

The Fat Lady is not difficult to beat alone, its with the tens of Headless that
continuously charge you that things get difficult. By alternating between the
Thornblade to clear out the Headless and the Windblade to shoot at the Fat Lady,
you will eventually prevail. During the battle you could retreat to where the
Health Vials and the fountain are to regroup and replenish any drained HP. Then
attack again. The Headless will stop coming once you kill the Fat Lady. Grab
the Plate from the altar and enjoy the extra 100HP it allows you to carry. If
you're not at 200, jump onto the fallen column to grab the Health Flask and then
head back towards the door you entered this area from. "God Gave Rock and Roll
to You" will echo through the spacious halls of the Cathedral while you complete
this section of the mission.

High above is a ring that you can grapple to with the Scourge. In doing so you
will drop onto a Secret ledge where you can obtain your first Angel Charm.

Return the way you came, up the ladder, across the ledge and back to the areas
with the wooden beams near the first ladder.

Walk out onto the highest set of beams and drop down onto the middle set.
There, in a newly revealed alcove in the wall is the next Secret, as well as a
Rose that should top you off at 250HP!

Jump back to the ladder and descend. Cross over into the other part of the main
room, where you used the Scourge to find Secret #2. Enter the area behind the
now open doors against the wall in the corner. The water will drain, revealing
an exit from this area.

The second area of Cathedral begins in a damp section of the church with a sort
of condemned appearance. Your first encounter is with the now-commonplace
Headless. A few on the ground and another ten or so will leap through the
stained glass window. Now that's a sacrilege! When your done laying your Zero
Cannon smack down on them grab the two Pamphlets around the corner to the right.

Open the door at the end of the hall and blast the three Strutters that crawl
towards you. Watch out for their barely visible saliva streams, they sting your
HP pretty bad.

Double back to where the Headless were. Upon killing the last of these three
Strutters, the wall opens revealing a Secret Rage Orb.

Continue on through the bends in the corridor. You will emerge in a larger room
with a puddle in the center and an angry Arachniclown trying to "light" you up.
Pun fully intended. Use the Magma Cannon and alternate shots with it, while
ducking in and out of the stairwell. As you go for the ammo it drops, a
concrete
slab seals the top part of the staircase and three Strutters and a Blademaster
join the fracas. Retreat to the top of the stairs, near the Health Flask, where
you can shower them with Jack-in-the-Boxes and Magma Cannon firepower.

Step out into the large hall and approach the fountain on the wall. Once again
you can take some swipes at a fountain to produce some Health Vials for
yourself. This one works five times. Travel towards the other end of the room,
killing the two Gasbags along the way. Leave the health where it is unless you
really need it.

Bust through the wooden barricade and slaughter the Headless that attack. At
the
far end of this next section is a Fat Lady.  And if that wasn't enough for you;
in the alcove on the right is a Blademaster. Use the Windblade on each of them
(the Blademaster will drop additional ammo for it) and use the other half of the
room behind the wall for cover. Once you clear them both out, grab all of the
Health and Jack-in-the-Boxes lying around and approach the water where the Fat
Lady was.

Follow the water down the tunnel and open the gate. The Stargaze weapon is
across the room on a ledge guarded by an Arachniclown. On a ledge in the center
is a Rose. Elsewhere throughout the room is a bunch of Health, some ammo,
items,
and a large amount of evil.

Before dropping onto the floor, send a few shots of the Windblade at the
Arachniclown across the room. With any luck you'll kill him. Switch to the
Thornblade and jump to the floor. Plasma Traps line the walls, two Blademasters
and a dozen or so Headless attack on foot, and several Gasbags hover above. You
can crawl around to avoid the Plasma Traps. But whatever you do, keep moving
and
swinging that blade and you'll come out ok. Once the ground troops have been
properly terminated, switch to the Magma Cannon and deflate the airborne
Gasbags. Pick up all of the items and make your way up the ladder in the far
right corner from where you came in.

Equip yourself with something more powerful and hit the small ledge running.
Along the next wall are three Stumps. Take them out and step onto the ledge
where they were perched. Finish off any remaining Gasbags and take a breather.
I know you want to leap for that Rose in the center (which you could) but don't.
Every time you have to climb the ladder, the Stumps and Gasbags regenerate. You
may not be as lucky next time.

Instead, climb the ladder to the ledge above. The perceptive gamer will notice
that the wall to your right can be busted apart revealing a secret. Don't go
for
it yet, as you will be dropped right where you first entered this area . . .
smack dab in the line of seсor Clown's fire. Approach the edge with the
Windblade ready. Two Gasbags will jump out right in front of you. Take a shot
while back pedaling back off the elevated ledge. More Gasbags begins firing at
you from the center of the room. Strafe along this ledge, taking them out
one-by-
one. When the last one is dead climb the ladder and drop down the other side.

Follow the perimeter as quickly as possible to the landing where the lever is.
Don't try and pull it just yet if the Arachniclown is still kicking. You'll be
better served by ducking in behind it. Using the Windblade and the lever for
cover, bring down the Arachniclown across the gap. Now pull the lever.

Cross the platform that extends from the wall and grab the Stargaze weapon. The
room begins to quake and the grating on the floor falls into the water. That is
your way out. But, before you go, jump down to the floor and climb the ladder
to
the left. Blast the Stumps and Gasbags that reappear and climb the second
ladder.

Shoot the off-colored portion of wall at the top of the ladder. Jump in to
grab
some Windblade ammo and to find this secret.

Take a running leap for the Rose, kill the Gasbags, and then dive into the water
in the center of the room under the arch.

When you dive down into the water, its important to stay calm you have about 12
seconds of air. Spin around in one place until you see the busted open iron
gate. That's your way out. Swim through and get some air. At the far end of
the tunnel are three Spawners, two of which are out of sight. Tread water while
firing or jump onto the small ledge to the right. Even though the Headless look
like crabs, they're afraid of the water. Blast the first Spawner with the
Windblade then use the Stargaze for everything around the corner. It drains a
ton of ammo but man does it make life so much easier!

Through the doors, behind the wall to the left is a Fat Lady. Face left and
strafe sidestep inch by inch until you can just see her girth from around the
wall. You can safely stand there unnoticed while you change her diet forever
with all the Magma she can handle. As soon as she dies, the water in the room
starts rising. No sweat! Just dive in and cross the room to the right, near
the
small steps. A few Strutters will come around the corner to greet you. Kill
them.

As you make your move up the steps you hear the obnoxious noises of the Gasbags.
Return to the bottom of the stairs and get ready for a fight. Several Gasbags
will attack from each opening, in addition to another Arachniclown at the top of
the steps. Replenish the HP you lose by diving down to the bottom of the water
and swimming under the platform to find three Health Flasks.

Swim into a chimney-like area beyond the Health Flasks. Use you Scourge to
hoist yourself up to the branch above. While holding the "Attack" button down,
turn around and move yourself towards the ledge. Jump onto it and carefully
pick
up the precious items over the metal bars.

Directly below you is the last enemy in the area: another Fat Lady. Hit her a
couple times with the Windblade, toss a couple Jack-in-the-Boxes down on her and
then jump down into the ever-rising water.

Climb out of the water into the large central room. You can see the exit
through
the doorway on the right. Grab the Health Flask off the platform on the right
on
your way out of area 2.

Ahhh, the attic. Here, in this third and final area of the Cathedral, will you
see more enemies per square pixel than anywhere you've been so far. Up the ramp
ahead of you is a Fat Lady, a Spawner, and what seems to be an endless surge of
Headless. Slice and dice your way to the rear of the room with the Thornblade
and then switch to the Wingblade. Take out the Spawner with a shot at its base
and then turn your attention on the large one. Circle around the room, blasting
away at her as you go. Pick up the ammo and open the gray door near the
Spawner.

Upon opening the door, the room fills with water. Swim back to the area above
where you started to find a Secret Rage Orb.

Enter the area through the door. The three concrete boxes along the far wall
have items in them, but will remain inaccessible until you destroy the
Arachniclown that appears. Move towards the center of this long room. As you
do, the clown, along with a dozen or so Headless attack. Kill the Arachniclown
first so as to get the Health and ammo you likely need.

Pick up the items at the opposite end of the room and approach the open doorway.
In the next hallway are some Strutters, an Arachniclown, and a Blademaster.
Lure
them into the larger room you just emptied so you can maneuver better for clean
shots.

Reenter the hallway and look up. You should immediately notice the Rose on the
beam. To the left of the Rose, up higher, is a ring that you can reach with
your
Scourge. Remember where this ring is, you'll be coming back to it for the next
Secret as well.

Pass through the doors into the next room and kill the Headless that swarm you.
Grab the Health and approach the stairs in the corner. Circle around the
platform slowly, looking up at the bells for Gasbags. Use the Magma Cannon to
take them out before climbing the ladder.

Draw the Windblade and climb the ladder rung by rung. Get near the top and
start
firing at the Fat Lady across the way. By staying on the ladder and firing
constantly, you'll be able to pin her down and kill her with the least of
efforts.

As soon as the Fat Lady dies, the water starts rising throughout the church.
Quickly run back to where you earlier grappled up to reach the Rose. Now, a
small alcove reveals a Angel Charm. Grab it and run back quickly. The
invincibility it offers will help tremendously.

Don't worry about the items near the bells for there's a lot of crabs in this
belfry. Jump from the boxes to attain the platform and then climb the ladder up
to the door. Two Spawners generating over twenty Headless lie behind the door.
As soon as you open the door, hit the Spawner in its base with the Windblade.
Retreat back to the floor below as the invincibility is waning.

Grab the items and Health and break out the Thornblade. Cut yourself a path
through the oodles of Headless that now await you. Two swipes is all it takes
to
bring down the Spawner. Once you disable it retreat once more. A Fat Lady is
above you firing at you. Once the very last Headless is defeated, arm yourself
with the Windblade and back up the ramp until the smallest bit of that large
woman is showing. Unload on her. Again you'll pin her down and she won't get
any hits in on you.

One last Spawner lies ahead at the top of the small staircase leading into the
steeple. This one gives birth to the fire breathing Stumps. A good shot from
the Windblade or, if you just want to get it over with, use the Stargaze. Climb
the ladder and look into the mirror. You're done with the Cathedral.

Mission 4: Freak Show

Freak Show begins where Cathedral left off. You stand in the top of the
steeple,
only outside it is not air as you may expect, but the grounds of a most
horrifying carnival. Now we know why Austin Powers' other fear was Carnies.
You
know, circus folk.

A dozen Headless will pour off the roof of the steeple as you exit. Slaughter
them and then move around to the other side where you can meet your first
Ballbuster. He really is one too. Use the Windblade when fighting him. It
will
take two direct hits to bring him down, but it will lessen your chances of
getting a cannon ball in the gut.

Take a running leap into the ticket booth on the right. There you will find a
Rose and the first Secret of this area.

The little canisters you see lying around are explosive. You could shoot them
from a distance when an enemy is near them. Truth be know, they aren't very
damaging. Unless something is right on top of them, they only leave a scratch.

As you move closer to the wagon ahead, Headless will bust out to greet you.
Retreat to where you came and unload on them. Enter their wagon to grab some
ammo and a Rage Orb.

Now for the tough part. Each of the awnings on the left will produce its own
variety of evil. Ballbusters, Stumps, and Blademasters will drop from the sky
depending on which one you walk near. The ammo is there to tease you into
coming
a little closer so that they might actually land on you. Sure, if you're after
point totals, rack em up. Otherwise hug the far right side as you cross through
this battlefield. They'll still come for you, but not the masses you would
endure by hanging around.

The third awning on the left, the one that launches Blademasters, has a couple
of wooden boards up top. Shoot these planks and turn to the right. A Secret
area opens revealing a Angel Charm. No better place to be invincible.

At the end of the field, where the path turns to the right, are two Blademasters
and several Headless. Slash your way through the Headless and then turn your
sights on the Blademasters as they have you in a crossfire. Kill any remaining
enemies and head into the tent in the corner with the revolving center. Several
Health Flasks are here for your HP replenishing pleasure. Bust out the Magma
Cannon and blast the two Gasbags behind the screen. You may not see them, but
you sure will kill them.

At the peak of this tent is a hook that you can grapple to with the Scourge.
Use
it drop in on the Heart Orb in the center. Just get out of there before you get
nauseous from staring at the spinning polka-dots.

Near the ramp in the distance, by the Health Flask on the left, is a small
opening in the skirt of the large red tent. Crawl under the platform to find
this Secret.

Climb the ramp and enter the door through the large clown mouth. If the door is
still blocked you must venture back around the corner and kill more freaks.
After meeting the quota, you will hear the chime and the door will open.

Inside this tent are water tanks and a center column of water, in which is a
Spawner. Head right for the Spawner and take it out with one blast of the Magma
Cannon. You can walk right through the tank walls and into the water. Weird
stuff I tell you. Kill any remaining Headless and climb the ladder and turn the
wheel. Panels in the water tanks have been raised, allowing you to access the
yard behind the tent. Or, you can jump onto the wheel and make a running jump
off the wheel and onto the tent to slide over and onto the platform where the
Health and ammo is. Grab the Diamonds in the opposite corner and follow the
pathway outside and into the yard below.

Headless, and Ballbusters follow you out. Once you put them out of their
disfigured misery, blast open the wagon to reward yourself with a Rose.
Unfortunately, doing so will trigger another Ballbuster and a Stump to attack as
well. Reenter the tent through the openings on the side to the tanks and kill
the any remaining enemies. Once the last one is put to rest, a wooden panel in
the front left corner of the tent will open, allowing you to cross an elevated
platform to the next tent.

Drop off of this elevated walkway onto the other tent's platform below. Welcome
to the big top, you're gonna wish you never came! Three Stumps and a
Blademaster
guard the way. Kill them each, grab the ammo and health, and head to the left.
An Arachniclown will pop out at the bottom of the ramp so be ready. Also, to
the
left is a Spawner cranking out Stump after Stump. Put it out of business and
move on.

A few Stumps lay further down the walkway on the left. Kill them and circle
around to the right where a Unipsycho is kept in a cage. Those bars will keep
him from getting out but his fire still can. After you waste him, enter the
cell
through the bars and grab the items there. Leave and head up the stairs to the
left.

Behind the bars straight ahead are a few Stumps. Kill them and then enter
their
cell. Blast apart the wooden wall and enter the Secret area for a Heart Orb.

Leave the cage and make a left. A Spawner generating an army of Strutters lies
around the bend. If you got the ammo to spare, use the Stargaze and make it
easy
for yourself. Otherwise a combination of the Windblade and Jack-in-the-Boxes
will do the trick. Follow the winding path until all hell breaks loose near the
next cage. A Spawner, a Unipsycho, a Blademaster, a Ballbuster, and numerous
Headless attack at once. Again, use the Stargaze if you want to have much hope
of coming out of this with substantial health remaining. Another good option,
believe it or not, is the Scourge. The whip packs a deadly punch and has a
faster firing rate than many of the guns.

Continue down the long corridor. As you near the orange box of ammo, several
Stumps and a Gasbag attack. Put them away and the exit will be open to you via
the next room. There is a lot of health along the sides of this room. Keep it
in mind as you battle the Ballbuster, Blademaster, and Gasbags. Keep moving and
firing. The size of the room will make it easy to dodge their fire.

Under the walkway that leads to the mirror is a tiny little monkey on a
tricycle. "Use" this little toy to reveal a Secret Rose. This will come as a
nice boost of HP before exiting the area.

Part two of Freak Show starts you out at the top of a ramp leading out onto a
large field, home to many circus tents. A horde of Headless attack immediately
but are easy to handle with the Thornblade if you keep swinging it as they
funnel
through the doorway. Next up: two Fat Ladies. Switch to something that has a
tad bit more range, as you really don't want to snuggle up next to these
hoochie.

The green striped tent to the left, where one of the Fat Ladies emerged has some
ammo and health available. The red polka-dot tent on the right has a Spawner in
addition to some ammo and health. If you haven't yet discovered the wonders of
the Scourge, try it. It's range and precision is awesome, not to mention the
lion-tamer feeling you get from hearing that crack of the whip.

As you leave the red tent, take note of the environment. Grab the ammo on the
right and then head to the opening in the tent way in the distance. Enter
slowly
and stand beneath the ramp. Grab the Pamphlet and take out the Spawner. Turn
around to face where you came in and gradually back up until you can just make
out the Fat Lady on the walkway above you. Send her to hell without her even
seeing you!

Now, with the coast clear run up the ramp and follow the walkway around to the
Elder Mask. With the Mask on you will have a maximum attainable HP of 250!

Walk to the edge of the ramp beyond the Elder Mask. To your right is a trap
door in the side of the tent. Step through it to fall onto a Health Flask.

Before entering the newly opened door to the big top, go straight ahead to the
area under the ramp in the middle. Here you will find a wealth of Black
Diamonds. Go back out onto the grass and approach the door. Stumps will be
there waiting for you at the bottom of the ramp, as will a Ballbuster at the
top. Try not to attract the Ballbuster until you're done with the Stumps.
Then,
climb the ramp and let him have it. To the right is a Fat Lady. Once you kill
her and move into that section of the tent you will be locked in. There will be
no return for you.

As you begin down the rickety walkway over the water, Headless and Gasbags
attack. Retreat to where you entered the area and whoop up on them. Run and
jump across the gap in the walkway and dive into the water on the other side of
the divider. Kill the mass of Headless under the water and then turn your
attention to the Ballbuster on the platform high above. You can stand in the
middle of the tent and kill him (albeit slowly) with the Magma Cannon without
ever getting hit. Grab the ammo that lies around and swim to the next area.

Climb out of the water onto the ramp and collect the Diamonds on the way to the
lever. Flip the lever to raise the dividers between the tents and swim back to
where you earlier killed the Fat Lady.

Secret #8: In the corner near the ladder is a hidden area. Swim through the
water and into this now-open alcove. Big time rewards are here for those who
make the trip.

Head back to where you battled the Ballbuster. Run up the ramp, grab the ammo
and enter the tent. The Health ahead of you is there for a reason. Before you
partake, slaughter the Fat Lady to your left. You will likely have to gib her
with the Thornblade to get by so beware the splash. Grab the Health and push on
to the center ring.

At first glance things look easy enough. A couple of Spawners generating
Headless. No prob. Think again. The third Spawner spits out Unipsychos.
Needless to say, the quicker you can put the Spawners out of commission, the
faster you will be ready to leave this godforsaken place.

If you need help with this last assault walk the perimeter of the tent to the
left of where you came in. Shoot out the wooden boards near the ceiling and run
ahead before the door slams shut. You will instantly be transported to a ledge
above the Looking Glass where an Angel Charm is waiting for you.

Jump down and smash anything that moves. When all is said and done. Gather up
the ammo and Health Flask lying around and head to the mirror. It's time for
your first Boss fight.

Boss: Fortunado

Your first impressions of Fortunado may be that he's a pushover. Especially
when
you can put him down with consecutive shots of the Windblade without him even
moving. Well, its not that easy. Fortunado is fortunate enough to have three
lives. He continues to blow himself up like some deranged helium balloon and
attacks again and again.

His second coming will have him bouncing around the place while throwing
explosive bowling pins at you like a world-class juggler. Keep on the move and
try and stay under him when he's airborne. Fire round after round of liquid
hot
magma (I love you Dr. Evil) up his kiester until he bounces no more.

When he gets up for his third attempt at killing you he flies into the air like
a
bottle rocket and begins throwing maddening amounts of bowling pins at you. He
will spin in circles slow enough for you to keep ahead of him. Keep moving and
firing, moving and firing. Break away to grab the ammo that reappears during
the
fight. And definitely grab any health that shows up. Keep working him over
with
the Windblade and Magma Cannon and you'll be the Starbearer before you can say
Ringling Brothers.

Patrick Scott: The Beast King

-aka Peter Criss

Earth Realm

Mission 1: Earth Rift

Earth Realm begins in the Roadhouse, as did the Water Realm. However, here you
start in the attic and venture out into its surroundings, which look nothing
like
those you saw in Pain Plaza.

First things first, run ahead and to the left. There across the metal I-beam
are
the Beast Claws. Grab the Pamphlet and reenter the main room. Smash the two
wooden crates in the doorway to obtain the Hawk Eyes and Magma Cannon. Head
back
to where you first started.

Smash through the wooden planks and "use" the skulls along this passage to
reveal
Black Diamonds. Grab the Health Flasks and kill the Stumps that attack. Grab
the items in the next room, kill the Blademaster and Gasbags that appear and
approach the fire in the drum.

Leap off the drum onto the footing of the column. Then squat down and jump
onto
the ledge. It will hurt for a moment, but if you're secret hunting, then suck
it
up and deal with it! Grab the ammo to your left.

Head down the path through the wooden door. Blast the Spawner on the ledge
below
the opening and drop down to reach the Rose. A quick glance towards the ceiling
reveals a couple of hooks that you will undoubtedly grapple to later on.

Exit the room through the door below. To the right is a locked gate so head
left. Blast away at the Gasbags, Stumps, and Headless and grab the ammo around
the corner. Under the platform, behind the skirt of seaweed are a couple of
Jack-
in-the-Boxes. Follow the stream ahead to the Blademaster on the rocks. Once
you
dispose of him turn and blast the crates to your left. Enter the room and
dispose of the Gasbags and Stumps that attempt to defend their turf. Turn on
the
jukebox to hear that rock smash "Unholy" while you climb the spiraling steps to
a
Rose and a Jack-in-the-Box. Grab the ammo that appears when the song is through
playing. Also, the drum opposite the jukebox rewards you with some ammo if
you "use" it.

Drop down onto the walkway across the yard. Destroy the Spawners to the right
and smash through the boards to the right of it. Collect the numerous diamonds
and the Pamphlet; then head to the back to find several Health Flasks. Leave
the small passage and follow the walkway towards the Spawner across the yard.

Behind the large stack of crates is an ammo jackpot. Jump out of the ditch and
resupply. Jump across the large gap ahead and pick up any health or ammo you
need. Return to the gap and carefully jump onto the landing below. One wrong
step and it's the eternal abyss you'll be falling into so be careful. Kill the
Gasbags and head down to the marble floored area ahead.

Clear the vicinity of Strutters and Stumps and follow the wooden ramp up to the
balcony and flip the lever open the gate below. A plethora of Headless come
cascading down off the rough. Switch to the Beast Claws and jump down and enjoy
the gib fest your about to have. As soon as you eliminate the last Headless,
head through the gate and follow the path to the Scourge. On the way you will
encounter Gasbags, a Ballbuster, and several Strutters so be ready.

With the Scourge in hand, your character reminds you that you can now get back
into the Roadhouse. But before you go, how about we add the Windblade to your
arsenal?

Above the ramp you climbed to flip the lever is a branch jutting out of the
rocks. Grapple to it and land on the roof of the building. Grab the Diamonds
and round the bend to take on a Unipsycho. Knock him off the roof and grab the
weapon in the corner. The skull will reveal a trail of Health Vials for you to
collect.

Jump back down to the ground and follow the path back up into the large pit that
you jumped down into. High above on the side of the building is a hook you can
grapple to. From there jump down to the right (facing the building) and circle
around to the entrance to the Roadhouse.

You can plainly see the items on top of the containers near the concrete step.
Less obvious is the hook on the corner of the building across from them.
Grapple
up and jump on to the containers. Collect the goods and jump off.

Two grapples and a short walk will place you right back in the attic of the
Roadhouse.

Use the Scourge to land yourself near the Key as well as some Health Flasks.

Also, be sure to "use" the skull on the post to grab another Black Diamond.
With
the Key in your possession its time to get to that locked gate. Kill off the
crazed monsters that attack in the attack and head all the way to the left.

Ok, this one you have to cheat to get to. Many people have tried to get it
without cheating and it all ended up the same . . . you have to turn off the
clipping. If you stand near the post where you grappled up to get the key
and "fly" out of the hole in the roof to the left you will unlock a Secret. Fly
around to the front of the building to gather up all the Black Diamonds.
Without
the Boots, which you will not have until the next area, this Secret is
unreachable by jumping.

Whether you stayed grounded or were playing Mary Poppins at this point, get back
into the attic and head to the right. Step out onto the exposed beam to grab an
Angel Charm and jump off into the water below.

Circle around the building to your right and open the gate with the Key. Whip
the Strutters into oblivion and enter the building. The skull on the wall will
give up three Diamonds but also a couple Strutters appear. As you round the
bend
a pile of Stumps bust through the wall from a Spawner in the corner. Blast them
all to hell and head out of the building and onto the long walkway. Stumps and
Headless will appear from above, as will a Blademaster around the corner. Every
time you retrace these steps, these enemies reemerge.

As you continue up the stone path, a large tremor occurs. This, of course, does
not bode well for you. An army of assorted evil breaks through the wall at the
top of the hill and wastes no time trying to stop your progress. If that wasn't
bad enough, Stumps attack from behind. Keep moving and firing. Take out the
Sumps and Strutters first. Chances are some of your shots will blow apart the
Headless as well. That whole two birds with one Magma Cannon idea.

After killing off the last participants in that ambush, walk over to the corner
where the wall slopes down to the base of the rocks. Jump up and over the wall
and into the Secret area. Here, large quantities of Jack-in-the-Boxes and Black
Diamonds can be found.

Climb over the fallen wall and continue on. Strongman makes his debut in grand
fashion, busting down the wall on the left. That whole bigger they are the
harder they, umm never mind, just unload on him. When he smacks those weights
to
the ground, not getting hit is as simple as jumping rope. Leap over the
shockwave and hit him again. Grab the Health in the corner and head inside to
the exit.

You were just about to grab the Boots when you were interrupted. It was likely
due to a tremor, a quake, a seismic event. You get the point. Well, don't
fret,
the Boots are right in front of you when you start this area. Now with the
mystical power of "ups" so few gamers possess, you can leap onto the ledge and
tackle the Spawner and numerous Gasbags in the area directly ahead.

Continue on down the path till you come face to face with the Strongman. A few
Stumps attack as well, which sometimes results in a comical scene. Apparently
we
players aren't the only ones to get pissed at those little fire-breathing
demons. Strongman will occasionally turn towards the Stump and drop those meaty
weights of his right down on top of it. You almost hate to kill him when this
happens.

Move ahead to the edge of the cliff. Straight across, at an equal elevation, is
a Ballbuster. Kill him and then use the Scourge to grapple across the chasm via
the branch on the right. Kill the Spawner and the Headless that are there, all
the while trying to dodge the cannonballs that rain down from above. Another
Ballbuster is way above you to the right (looking back at the pit). From a
crouched position on the first step in front of the Spawner you can kill him
with
the Scourge without getting hit. Jump up the steps and forge ahead.

The open area ahead has a Spawner on the ledge and an army of Stumps and
Headless
on the ground with you. Blast the Spawner right off the bat with the Windblade
and then start cracking that whip. Use the branch to grapple onto the ledge and
enter the cave.

Exit the cave and battle through the throngs of Headless up the hill to the
Spawner. Grab the Diamonds on your right and then make a dash across the narrow
land bridge. To your left, across the pit is another Ballbuster. You can reach
him with the Scourge. Hit, and strafe, hit and strafe. Turn and get the items
then continue on. You're almost there.

Smash the Stump around the corner and grab the goods. Further up the trail you
will be locked into a fight with a new enemy, the Tickler. Yes, that's right,
the creature with the absurdly long tongue is called the Tickler. Anyway,
beware
the red rays that emit from their mouth and definitely don't get near them.
They
bite hard! Bust out the Magma Cannon and blast them to hell. Slaughter the
Headless and Stumps that try to get you and then leap into the hole in the
center
of the area. You're outta here!

Grab the items and move onward to the concrete wall. Stand back and blast the
two drums to explode the wall to pieces. As you do this, the truck stuck in the
whole above lets loose a swarm of enemies including a Blademaster. Stand your
ground and blast them as they enter the small area you are in. Strafing and
firing the Magma Cannon or cracking the Scourge should see you through it in one
piece.

Standing at the exit of the building, go left and enter that cave first. Gather
up the Black Diamonds and the ammo and then step onto the stone carving. This
will slightly lower a rock spire, triggering the release of a Tickler. Strafe
side to side behind the rock tower in the center while you blast it with the
Magma Cannon. Head back out the cave, killing the minions that attack on the
way.

Now hit the cave to the right of the building entrance, opposite where you just
were. Follow the tunnel down to a large opening and make almost a complet
U-turn
into the first cave on the left. Destroy the Spawner and the rest of the
enemies
in the area and then head to the large cave across the way. To the right is the
Zero Cannon. Do an about face and follow this cave to a second stone carving on
the floor. Once again, stepping onto it triggers a the lowering of a stone
column and the release of a Tickler. Off him and then head back the way you
came.

Now its time to hit the cave straight ahead. Run straight ahead into the
opening
on the right of a building and turn around and shut down the Spawner on the
ledge. Kill the Headless and Gasbag that attacks and gradually make your way
around the corner of the building. An Arachniclown is on the second floor of
the
building. Aim the Windblade just under him from the distance and you'll best
him
easily. Enter the room on the left, grab the ammo and grapple onto the upper
floor where you immediately have to dispatch two Stumps.

Collect the goods from the side rooms, and then head to the stairs on the right.

Before heading up the stairs, check the alcove to the left. There, under the
steps is this easily spotted Rose, masquerading as a Secret.

Ascend the stairs and clear the area above of the enemy. Grapple to the hook
above the steps to drop yourself down on the other side of the debris. Run down
the steps first to get the items there and then run up and jump the gap onto the
rocks ahead. A couple of Spawners and their offspring and a Ballbuster are all
that remain before you leave the Earth Rift mission.

Morbid Manor kicks off outside the mansion where you must still deal with
frequent earthquakes and bottomless pits. Grab the ammo from the rocks to your
left and inch forward along the ledge. Jump over to grab the Jack-in-the-Box on
the right and then set your sights on the Ballbuster on the roof ahead. From
under the land bridge you can take him out without ever getting seen. Once you
do, turn around and take out the two Gasbags that attack your blind side.

Move ahead to the left of the building where there is a large supply of ammo for
you to collect. Of course, where there's ammo, there's usually things to use it
on. Two dozen Headless come running towards you. Mow them down and head around
the front of the building via series of ledges you must jump to.

Behind the door ahead is a Tickler, just waiting for you to come in. Blast him
with the Magma Cannon or Windblade and follow the path around to the Spawner.
Two Gasbags rise out of the chasm in the center of the area, while a constant
stream of Headless coming marching down the hill from another Spawner out of
sight at the moment. Try and avoid the Headless while you shoot the Gasbags and
then put on the Beast Claws and slash your way up the hill to the Spawner.
Gather the items on the ledge to the right.

Turn and shoot at the wall of the building you just walked past on the ledge.
The wall will crumble revealing an Angel Charm to you. Run off the ledge and
into the room.

Head back around the large pit to the hole in the wall. While still invincible
charge the Spawner and Unipsycho to the left. Once you put them away head back
to the break in the wall. You can collect the ammo from the top of the wall by
jumping onto the broken blocks adjacent to the rocks near the pit. Stock up and
head on around the right side of the Manor. Use the Scourge to pop the Gasbag
from a distance. Ahead on the second level is a Ballbuster, and on the third, a
Spawner. Use the Windblade and take out the Spawner before fully rounding the
corner. Then set your sights on the Ballbuster. Fire about 4 shots real quick
and cross your fingers. If he's still kicking, then you'll have to get closer.

Begin towards the gargoyles and climb the ladder to your left. Collect the
goods
and kill the Headless that approach. Ahead is another ladder. Climb this one
to
find a Rose behind the Spawner you destroyed moments ago. Return to the ground
level and grab the ammo to the left of the ramp.

Follow the ledge on the right side of the ramp. Kill the Fat Lady as quick as
possible for two Spawners are sending an army at you as we speak. The Headless
Spawner is down the path to the left, whereas the Stump Spawner is up the rock
incline and to the left. Collect the ammo and Health Flasks and go for the
Stump
Spawner last. As you draw near it, another earthquake collapses the wall
allowing another dozen or so Headless to attack from yet another Spawner.

Jump onto the blocks jutting out of the wall to reach the landing above. Drop
down onto the small ledge on the left and follow it around to grab the items.
Return to where you came and jump down onto the ground. As you make your way
across the bridge an Arachniclown and a bunch of Headless attack. Kill them
off,
being careful not to fall into the abyss. Approach the sinister looking
building
ahead. The lever to open a nearby gate is to the left, however, be certain to
shoot out the lamps to collect some ammo for your Zero Cannon. Jump down off
the
bridge to the land below and follow the path you took when you began the mission
back to the Manor.

From the bridge, jump across the gap onto the large sidewalk around the
building
to the right. Follow this ledge/walkway around to the rear of the building
where
you'll find a Secret Pamphlet. Jump back to the bridge.

From the bridge, jump to the small piece of land just below where you earlier
grabbed the ammo. Make your way to the Health Flask ahead and then follow the
path to the gate on the right.

There is a Spawner just beyond the gate to the left and one in the next area at
the top of the stairs. Also in the next area is a Unipsycho. Put them all away
and collect the ammo before climbing the stairs. Jump off the railing onto the
rooftop across the way to collect the Health if you need it and then enter the
garage through the doorway at the top of the stairs.

Put a hole in the Headless and Gasbag and then begin your sweep of the area,
gathering up the ammo and health. On each of the beams sticking out from the
loft over the ground level are Black Diamonds, be sure to grab them. From atop
the crates you can make life easier by blasting the Spawner downstairs before it
even becomes a nuisance.

Climb to the top of the tallest pile of crates and jump onto the beams near the
ceiling. Stay crouched and make your way across the beams and around the posts
to the rear of the room. There you will find two Jack-in-the-Boxes hiding
secretively.

Round the bend in the loft and kill the Spawner. Jump over the railing and race
to the back to grab the Key. Another Spawner appears, as does a Fat Lady. Put
them away and then climb the ladder to use the Key in the door at the other end.
Slash your way through the Headless and Fat Lady here to the tunes of "Rock and
Roll all Night" then jump down into the hole in the center of the floor.

More Headless will attack as you land. Wipe them out and head through the door.
Watch in horror as that bastard Ballbuster blows your ride to smithereens. He
and the two dozen Headless you have to contend with will surely pay. Use the
Zero Cannon and strafe like mad. By using this faster firing gun, you can mow
down the Headless while aiming at the Ballbuster.

Use the Scourge to grapple to the hook above the hole in the floor. There, on
the beam, is a Rose. You likely need it at this point. Drop a Jack-in-the-Box
onto the Headless at the bottom of the pit and jump down and exit the area.

Begin by heading up the stairs past the two Stumps. The door is locked but can
be unlocked by flipping the lever to the right. Enter the kitchen. The door
immediately to the left of where you came in has a Key. Grab it and blast away
at the Gasbags and Headless that guard the area.

The open room to the left has a Spawner in it. Get in there and destroy it.
Head back to the kitchen and use the key to unlock the door in the corner to the
left. You're now entering the storage area where Fat Lady resides. Put her
away
and flip the lever. The door to the dining room opens, but of a more immediate
concern to you are the tens of Headless that just popped out of the freezers.
Kick their asses and grab the ammo from the freezers. Leave the room.

Head back to the small room where the Spawner was. The door is now open to the
dining room of the mansion. Rush in with guns blazing for a Ballbuster is
waiting for you there.

Collect the ammo and Health Flask from around the room and be sure to grab the
Key off of the mantle.

In the chimney of the unlit fireplace is a hook you can grapple to. Do so if a
Rose and a Secret are of interest to you.

Use the Key to open the door across the room and grab the Belt in the hallway.
Head to the right first, grab the Key from the painting the Strutters jump out
of
and smash the Spawner to the right. Head back down the other end of the hallway
and open the last door on the right. Kill the Gasbags that attack and crawl
through the unlit fireplace to the sitting room on the other side. Grab the
ammo
and health and blast away at the Gasbags. Reenter the fireplace and climb the
ladder to your left to access the ductwork.

As you may expect, there's not a lot of room for moving around. And that's a
shame for you're about to encounter hordes of enemies here. Head to the right
first off. Forge your way to the long drop and jump in. This will land you
back
in the stairs where you began the mission.

Head up to the kitchen and notice that the middle cupboard is now open and
contains a Rage Orb. Repeat this circle once more to find the third cupboard
open with a Blood Rose in it. (the first cupboard could be opened by you
manually and contains nothing).

Head back to the chimney and climb up into the vents one more time. This time
battle your way through the Stumps to the left. Grab the Pamphlet and continue
to the end. When you reach the "T" pick up the flask on your right and then
drop
down to the lower vent on the left. Crush the Headless and destroy the Spawner
in the first passage to the right. Climb the ladder and go to the right. Beat
down the Stumps, pick up the health and head back. Jump onto the ledge to grab
the Diamonds and then begin to work your way down the other end of the tunnel.

Jump down to the lower level, kill the Gasbags and continue to the left. Jump
down again and kill yet another Gasbag. Head to the right, go down again past
more Gasbags and Stumps and continue on in this manner until you reach a small
brick area.

Shoot at the off-colored bricks in the wall to the left. They will crumble
away
revealing another Rose for you HP replenishing enjoyment.

The door at the top of the steps is actually a painting on the wall of another
sitting area (the rich don't have living rooms, they have sitting areas). Bust
on in, kick some freaky behind and grab the Hawk Eyes off the mantle, among
other
assorted treats. Leave the room through the door in the corner.

Battle your way past the Fat Lady and the Spawner to the large double doors at
the end of the hall. Alas, the library! Isn't it nice and calm? Until you
grab
the Key off of the table, that is. Then all hell breaks loose. Put on those
Beast Claws and start swinging. Beware of the plasma traps lining the wall and
listen for the chime to signal your ability to leave.

Use the Key in the door to the left as you exit. This will put you in a
stairwell with a Spawner at the top, among other evils. Grab the items from the
base of the stairs, kill the Spawner and enter the upstairs of the library.
Gasbags, Ballbusters, a Spawner, and Headless try to prevent you from getting
the
Key up here. Take them all out, gather up the goods, and approach the door you
entered through.

To the left of the entrance is a "KISSTORY" book sticking out of the bookshelf.
Use the book to trigger a secret area to open behind a bookshelf on the adjacent
wall. There you will find the next Key, as well as a much-needed Blood Rose.

Proceed to the other end of the hallway with the Key in hand. Use it to open
the
double doors. Here, in this room of rooms, will you face numerous Spawners, two
Arachniclowns, and oodles of Headless. Quicksaving before entering is a good
idea to say the least.

After you put away all the enemies climb the stairs to the balcony and
carefully
jump to the railing and from there to the ledge where the Spirit Lance is.

Make your back to the balcony and out the double doors marked Exit.

This area of the mansion resembles a museum. Enter the first display room
through the door on the left. The cases with ordinary items like health and
ammo
can be busted open but those containing special items have to be unlocked.

Take out the Spawners and the Blademaster and head around the wall to the next
room. Here, a Ballbuster will join the fracas. Take him out too and leave the
room through the door.

The third painting of the band members on the left wall of the first room you
entered has a secret area behind it containing a Blood Rose. Don't kill the
Spawner at the end of the hall right away. Keep slugging away at Stumps until
you hear the chime and run back quickly to get it.

The second door you come to in the hallway, the first on the left, will open.
Arm yourself with your new toy, the Spirit Lance, and proceed to enter. On the
floor, in perfect synchronization, is an army of over twenty Headless. Also in
the room is a Fat Lady and a Spawner. Use the Spirit Lance to even the playing
table and then switch to your other weapons to finish them off. Upon the
destruction of the Spawner a trap door on the stage opens. Before you leave,
grab the Diamonds that are behind each of the statues along the right wall.

Once in the crawlspace you will be faced with Gasbags, Stumps, and Headless.
Head to the right, checking all of the nooks and crannies for Health and ammo.
Stay to the right as you make your way ahead. Climb the ladder to emerge in the
display case with the Heart Orb. Descend back down and go around the wall, past
the Spawner and up the stairs to the bathroom.

Continue your path of destruction through the bath, stopping to get the ammo
from
the tub. Enter the bedroom, kill the creatures there, and use the Scourge to
grapple onto the canopy of the bed for mondo ammo. Jump down and approach the
dresser opposite the bed. It will open to reveal a Blood Rose for you.

Another sitting room (these people must be really, really rich) with two
Ticklers
and a Spawner. Kill the Ticklers to access the Key on the table. Grab the
Diamonds from the bookshelf as well as the Pamphlet from above the bookshelf in
the corner. In case you weren't paying attention, the Key will unlock the
display case housing the Vest and another Key back in the room you entered
earlier.

Head back the way you came via the crawlspace. When you climb the ladder into
the room with the statues, a Strongman will bust through the far wall. Kill him
to open the door and reenter the hallway. Go to the right to use the Key in the
locked display case.

Now that you have the Vest and another Key head back into the hallway and
proceed
to unlock the doors on the right at the very end of the hall. A couple of
Spawners with their associated Stumps and Headless will greet you along with a
Ballbuster. Chop them down with the Magma Cannon and follow the right wall
around to the lever in the back.

The large pieces of heating equipment have a Hawk Eyes resting on them next to
the lever. Walk up the ramp on the other side to sneak around the ledge to pick
it up.

Jump down and flip the lever. Make your way around to the other side of the
area
and climb the stairs. Slice your way through the army of Headless and into the
large room above. Three Unipsychos roll across the beams above while you deal
with the Headless on the ground. Use the Magma Cannon or the Scourge to put out
the Unipsychos and then head to the large pile of crates near the lever on the
wall.

Unfortunately collecting all the goodies on the above beams is not that easy.
Just getting onto them is a difficult task. Start by shooting the breakable
crate amongst the impenetrable ones near the lever. Inside this crate is a
smaller one you will use to get on top of the pile of crates. And from there
onto the beams. Carefully crawl from beam to beam to collect the Rose over the
entrance.

Jump back down and flip the lever on the rear wall. A double door near the
stairs you came up will open and several Ballbusters attack at once. Collect
the
ammo from the large room and enter the newly opened stairwell with the Spawner.

Climbing the steps to the Looking Glass will require you to move quickly,
outrunning the plasma traps, jumping the missing boards, and eliminating Stumps.
Keep climbing and the Morbid Manor will be conquered.

Mission 3: Unholy Ground

Ahh, the requisite graveyard mission. Let's get to it. Kill the Gasbags and
Stumps and do a walk of the perimeter of the area. Go to the left behind each
of
the tombs on the hill to collect some ammo and health.

Shoot the wooden marker on the third coffin on the left. This will trigger the
door of the small tomb on the right to open, revealing a Heart Orb.

Then approach the small mausoleum to the right of the large gate. A Ballbuster
will meet you at the door, as will several other lesser creatures. Slay them
all
and take the ammo inside.

Walk through the red screen at the back of the room near the ammo to find a
Secret area containing a Blood Rose.

Open the gate and kill the Headless that attack.

Grapple to the branch directly overhead. Jump down onto the ledge containing
the
Rage Orb to pick up this secret. While you're up here, jump across to the top
of
the wall to pick up a Pamphlet on the left.

Backpedal down the hill for Headless are going to jump you from behind. Take
them out and then send a devastating blow at the Spawner in the distance.
Unless
of course you like fighting Strutters. Run up the stairs near the Spawner to
find a Health Flask behind the tomb. Walk under the arch and take out the
Ballbuster on the ledge ahead. Don't step out from under the bridge until he's
dead cause there's a Fat Lady directly above you. Destroy the Fat Lady and run
up the ledge to where she stood to collect some ammo and health. Jump down and
reenter the area through the gate. Grapple to the ledge where the Ballbuster
was
to collect some more health there as well.

Begin your way across the central grave area. Headless will leap out of a
couple
of the sites, mow them down and continue on. When you kill the Fat Lady on the
stairs return to the tomb along the wall on the right. For it will now be open
allowing you to access the many items it contains.

Head up the stairs and under the opened gate. An Arachniclown and Headless will
attack. Take out the clown and then the Spawner on the ledge at the top of the
stairs. Slice up the Headless and climb the stairs. There you will find the
Plate. Flip the lever to unlock the gates and jump down and head up the stairs.
Destroy the Spawner and the Stumps and the Exit will be open to you. Pass
through the door, enlarge the hole with your gun and jump in. You're about to
become a member of the underworld.

Enjoy the eerie calm of this new place. Make your way through the corridors
ahead until you come to the stairs. At the top of the stairs, to the right, a
Ballbuster will break through the walls. Bust him up and then head to the large
room through the passage he left behind.

The room contains an Arachniclown, Headless, and Stumps. Also, keeping it
interesting are a couple of Spawners and a Fat Lady that strolls in. After
clearing out the room of the evil that lurks here (can be done very quickly with
the Spirit Lance) grab the Diamonds off the ledge on the right. And approach the
large concrete coffin near the door you entered through.

Using the coffin along the wall will trigger a secret alcove to open across
from
where you entered. Enter it to grab an Angel Charm.

Leave the room and head through the small opening at the other end of the hall.
Battle the Headless, Stumps and Arachniclown and proceed around the corner and
enter the first hall on the right. Take out the Spawner sitting on the boards
above and use the broken wall to climb onto those boards. Cross over the boards
to the ledge on the other side. Grab the Rage Orb and continue on. Around the
corner is a Fat Lady. Take her out, turn around and deal with the Stumps that
are also coming for you. Grab the Health Flasks and move ahead.

Across the gap is another Fat Lady. Kill her from afar and then jump the gap to
grab the Health Vials. Drop down onto the boards below and quickly run to the
side. Stand around too long and they collapse under your weight, dropping you
down into the quicksand. If this happens grab the Scourge and grapple to the
branches overhead before your head goes under.

Assuming the wooden platform is still in the pit drop down to it and break the
rocks in front of you. The platform will collapse into the quick sand but you
should be able to sneak into this Secret area just as it does. Follow the cave
around the bend to a Heart and a Rose.

From the pit, head down the stairs and past the walls that slam down on you. In
the large room ahead you will encounter a Fat Lady and many Headless. Grab the
ammo from near the Exit and the throngs that attack multiply by the second. Now
a pair of Fat Ladies, more and more Spawners, a Ballbuster, and several Spawners
are there for you to deal with. Two words: Spirit Lance! Keep on the move and
fire what you got. The Scourge helps a bit, but its slower rater of fire won't
get all of the Headless off of you if you get cornered. Luckily the Stumps are
so antagonistic that they eventually pick fights with the other enemies,
reducing
your work load.

Backtrack up the stairs after you've killed everyone to find a newly opened
area
to the left containing a Rose.

Return to the room down the stairs and Exit.

Start up the hill and step out onto the beams to grab the Health. As you make
your way around the corner Gasbags and Headless attack. Kill them and grab the
ammo they drop. Run up the steps and take out the Unipsycho to the right of the
fence before the mobs of Headless swarm you. Collect the Health in the tomb to
the left and "use" the coffin to slam the door shut on the attackers.

Make your way ahead and to the right. You will hear a large block slide out of
the way. Head back to the tomb across from the functional coffin.

The door is now unblocked. Make your way inside to uncover a Blood Rose and
ammo.

Leave the tomb and kill off the Unipsycho, Gasbags, and Headless that swarm you.
You may choose to use a Rage Orb here to conserve ammo. After all, another one
is literally right around the corner. Make your way ahead, through the spires
and to the right. The tomb with the iron gates on it to the left can be opened.
Kill the Spawner and grab the Health Flasks.

Grapple to the hook above and jump onto the ledge to collect the other Rage Orb
I mentioned earlier.

Head through the carved out door and enter the right corridor first.

Push against the coffin on the right. It will slide into the wall, triggering
the wall to the right to move as well, revealing a Heart Orb and three Health
Flasks.

Head through the door ahead and face the Ballbuster across the yard. Run up the
ramp to the right and step off onto the wall with the Diamonds on it. From here
you can jump to the platform on which the Ballbuster was stationed. Gather up
the ammo, put on your ass kicking face and play the organ. The sounds of the
organ raise all sorts of evil spirits from the dead to attack you. An army of
Stumps and Headless will attack beside a half dozen Gasbags. Stay near the
organ
and take out the Gasbags first. You'll be relatively protected from the masses
by the height of the stage. Strike down (literally) against the Headless and
Stumps until none continue to move.

Climb the tall staircase to the left of where you entered this warzone. Grab
the
ammo and circle back around to the left to enter the next area. Here you need
to
get to the door where the two Health Vials are. It would be easy too, if a
tremor didn't collapse the majority of the flooring as you reach the bottom
step. If you fall, don't worry. Grapple back onto the stairs via the hook in
the ceiling and run and jump from the top of the stairs. Head through the door
and into the courtyard at the bottom. A Unispycho and two Gasbags will need to
be put away. Grab the ammo they drop and follow the path left to the Health
Flasks.

Just as soon as you enter so does a Spawner start spewing Stumps at you. Blast
them and move on. Around the bend lies your last challenge in the mission. Two
cages ahead, one on each side. The door to the one on the right is open and out
come a swarm of Stumps. The cage on the left has an angry Ballbuster with the
ability to fire his shots through the bars. Kill the Stumps and enter the open
cage to flip the lever. This will open the cage to the Ballbuster. Rush in and
light him up. Flip the lever there to open the wooden doors. Follow the path
through the doors to the Looking Glass.

Mission 4: Beast Pens

Begin your journey into the Beast Pens by killing the Gasbags and Headless.
Ammo
and a Health Flask lie throughout the area, but step swiftly! Two Ballbusters,
a
Blademaster, and a gaggle of Headless are on their way towards you. Make your
way under the wooden planks, past the posters for the Spider Man, and the Demon
Creatures. A Blademaster is positioned on the ledge to the left and another one
is in the alley behind the Spawner. Kill them both, grab the ammo and get ready
for the Unipsycho that rolls in.

Grapple to the hook above the concrete ledge and do your best high-wire act
across the planks to jump the fence. Decimate the forces around the bend, grab
the ammo (don't forget the one on the side of the tent, by the beginning) and
climb up the pile of crates with the Health Flask. Carefully jump on top of the
fence and from there to the wooden planks.

Make a running jump onto the concrete ledge to the right. Follow it around to
the hidden Heart Orb. Actually, it wasn't hidden, just hard to get to.

Retrace your steps to the top of the fence post again. Utilize the powers of
the
Heart Orb and jump to the top of the cart to grab the Mask. As expected, the
Ticklers come to life in hopes of ending yours. Use the Scourge to whip them
into place and grab the Key. Return to where you grappled onto the ledge.

Jump into the purple starred tent on the left to grab the Jack-in-the-Boxes and
head down the narrow path to the right. Kill the Stumps and their Spawner and
head to the very back. Jump from crate to crate to collect the Diamonds and
then
approach the gate near the purple tent

Destroy the Spawner and Stumps on the left and proceed into the large area
ahead. Use the Windblade to blast the Fat Lady as soon as you enter. Switch to
the Beast Claws to swipe your way through the hordes of Headless and Stumps and
take out the Spawner in the pen to the left with a shot of the Magma Cannon.
Grab the ammo and health that lie in the pen to the right as well as the one to
the left. Head through the opening in the tent to the left.

The room is littered with crates, around which a good amount of ammo can be
found. Put away the Blademaster and head through the opening ahead. An
Arachniclown and another Blademaster guard a Key. Clean the area of evil, grab
the Key and the ammo and return the way you came. Unfortunately, the large
opening you cleared earlier now has a Fat Lady, a Spawner and a bunch of
Headless
and Stumps. Keep moving and blasting and don't forget to use those Jack-in-the-
Boxes. They are a great tool for disbursing a crowd.

Open the door marked "No Unauthorized Clowns Beyond this Point" and fire the
Spirit Lance immediately. This should take out the majority of Stumps and
Headless, along with the Ballbuster if you're lucky. Of course you will have to
destroy the Spawners to the right, along with any stragglers.

Above the first Spawner to the right of where you came in is a wooden door.
Shoot the door open and jump from the crates onto the fence. Jump across the
opening on the fence and from there into the opening. Walk out across the
boards
to collect 100 ammo for each common weapon.

Feel like testing your nerves? Jump back up the pile of crates and onto the
wooden fence. This time, instead of jumping into the opening on the left, you
must tip-toe your way across the openings, around the lamp posts, and onto the
ledge of the red tent on the right. Hug the lamp posts to walk around them and
run the length of the red ledge to the tent at the far end to grab the Blood
Rose.

Return to the area behind the door and head to the red tent at the end of the
path. Here you can find ammo and Black Diamonds. Leave the tent and kill the
Strongman that emerges from the side. Follow the arrows towards the exit,
stopping only to kill the Unipsycho and Stumps in the next section.

Enter the tent ahead and kill the Spawner and quickly climb the ladder and jump
the fence. Run around the corner and put the Spawner out of commission. More
Stumps will continue to come from another area, but not in huge amounts. Blast
away the Ballbuster and climb the pile of crates in the corner. Jump from crate
to crate until you can step onto the top of the fence. Walk the perimeter to
the
Heart Orb, jump down, and head through the opening.

Several Gasbags and an army of Stumps and Headless try to beat you back. Claw
your way through the masses and then ewuip yourself with the Magma Cannon and
take out the Spawner to the left of the entrance. A Ballbuster will break out
of
the purple tent on the left. He's a sitting duck so kill him quickly with the
Windblade. Jump into the booth and grab the ammo. Ahead lies another Spawner
and a Unipsycho. Duck behind the Demon Creatures sign to find a Pamphlet and
enter the yellow tent on the left.

Blow away the Spawner and the Stumps and then grab you BFG to knock the Fat Lady
off of the tight-wire. Wire? It's got to be steel cable to hold her up there!
Run and jump to grab the ammo from the fence posts and leave the tent.

Head around the bend to the left and grab the Blood Rose from behind the fence.
Enter the tent armed and ready. A Spawner and a Tickler await your entry. Once
you kill them, head down the hall to the high-wire area. Climb the ladder and
tip-toe across to get the Health Flask. Jump down and reenter the area you just
left. Presto!!! Two more Spawners and a gang of Stumps and Headless. Don't
you
just love surprises.

Kill every last one of them and head back to the high-wire area. Climb to the
platform and turn and jump over the fence to the area behind the locked gate.
Enter the tent and start firing. Blademasters and Stumps are around the corner.
Smash them up and enter the red tent. Blow apart the Spawner in the far corner
and then turn and shoot the explosive canisters near the crates. A hole will be
revealed, as will a Tickler.

Jump up to the opening and walk out onto the wooden boards to completely
restock
your ammo supplies once again.

Draw the Magma Cannon and open the bars at the far end of the tent. Approach
the
second set of bars and watch the cinematic take over. The object of the game is
to play the role of the circus animal. The Meanie Beanies will be there to
hover
above and offer negative reinforcement. Run to each of the platforms in the
correct sequence and grab the items from them. If you choose the wrong
platform,
another Meanie Beanie appears to offer stronger discipline. It's easy, if you
get it right the first time that is. Run your ass off to whatever platform has
the purple button on it, jump over Headless and Stumps if they're in your way.
Shoot them if you have to, but keep moving! The last platform contains a Blood
Rose as a reward. Now grab the Windblade and blast the Meanie Beanie out of the
air

Once you've cleared the tent, bringing new meaning to the term "Show-stopper",
grapple to the top of the tent to grab the Angel Charm.

Secret #6: If you've killed enough Stumps and Headless you will have heard a
chime. This signals that a flap in the tunnel to the left of where you entered
has been lifted, revealing a hidden Rage Orb.

Before leaving you should explore all of the little side areas of the tent to
gather as much Health and ammo as you can carry. Also, be certain to grab the
Key located in one of them as well. Return the way you came. Use the lever to
open the wooden door near the high-wire area and leave the tent.

Two Arachniclowns will be waiting for you on the other side of the door bearing
the same warning you had seen in the last part of this mission.

Open the door, kill the clowns and equip yourself with the Windblade. Each of
the booths on the right have a Blademaster. Slaughter them all and jump in and
collect the ammo and health. The third booth has a Spawner there as well.

Further ahead is a row of pens. An Arachniclown in the pen on the left can be
killed before fully rounding the corner. Spawners in the pens to the right
throw Stump after Stump at you so be ready, not to mention the Strongman that
attacks. When done extinguishing these forces, make your way to the area on the
right of the Exit sign. Here, more Spawners, Headless and a Meanie Beanie
attacks. Grab the ammo from the end of the path. Return to the area with the
pens and head to the red tent at the far end. As you go for the Blood Rose in
the corner, a Tickler will burst through the crate so fire a shot or two of the
Windblade before you go in for the Rose.

Leave the tent and follow the sign ahead to the Exit.

Boss: Tiberius

Tiberius, the powerful bull, has you trapped in his arena. Only the stronger
will survive. But, unlike Fortunado, Tiberius has brought some friends along
with him. Many of the crates on the floor contain Stumps and Headless, just
waiting to come out.

As soon as the battle begins, jump down off the platform you stand on before it
collapses, dropping you into the spikes below. Quickly grapple onto the net
above via one of the branches. This is the safest place to be while Tiberius
stampedes across the floor of the tent. Switch to the Windblade and toss a few
Jack-in-the-Boxes down at the ground to try and clear away some of the lesser
creatures. When Tiberius jumps onto the net, jump down and run underneath him.
Stay on the trigger of that Windblade and light him up! Grab the Health from
the
edge of the ring and grapple back onto the net. Repeat this process one more
time and victory should be yours.

Andy "Spades" Chang: The Celestial

- aka Ace Frehley

Air Realm

Your quest to become the Celestial begins on the second story of the Roadhouse.
As the Madame had explained, your first shard is out of reach. What this means
to you is that you got to get on your horse and run your ass off! Grab the
Pamphlet behind you to learn about the Twisters, your melee weapon, and then
jump
down to the walkway below. A few Stumps and a Gasbag are going to try to take
away the mere 25HP you have so get going on down that path to the right. The
shard is not far, but its not a cakewalk.

It takes a few kills to get used to the Twisters; lucky for you there's plenty
of
Headless and Stumps around to experiment on. Continue on straight ahead and
grab
the Windlblade. Use it to rid the sky of the Gasbags, turn the valve, and then
head back to the Roadhouse.

Open the first floor doors of the Roadhouse to find a bunch of ammo for the
Windblade, along with a Gasbag. Bust the windows for even more ammo and then
head down the ramp to the right. Twisters are great for disposing of Headless
but it's better to use your guns for quicker enemies like the Stump. Sweep
through this area, in and around the crates picking up the items you find. You
can "use" the gargoyle statues to produce Health Vials. Make your way around
the
building to the left. Two Spawners are high on a ledge to the far left, take
them out with the Windblade and then put away the rest of the enemies here.
Again, scour the area for Diamonds in the corners and Health Flasks and ammo,
there's a good amount of it here.

In the far left corner, under the Spawners is a wooden board along the wall
that
can be shot open. Crawl into the hidden area to find four Health Flasks and
ammo
for the Scourge.

Until you get the Boots you can't reach the Key so double back to the walkway
where you acquired the Windblade. Go down the ramp there. This area has an
extreme amount of Health Flasks and ammo to be had. And, perhaps more
importantly, the Scourge is nearby. Use the Windblade to take out the Gasbags
and Spawners right off the bat. Introduce the Headless to shock therapy and
gather up the ammo. A Blademaster has the high ground and will be firing at you
while you grab the goods. Move away from him towards the busted up wooden
platform under the walkway.

Step off the ground and onto the wooden planks. Turn and head to the right
first, gathering up the Diamonds. Quicksave. Walk to the last bard before the
gap. Press the "jump" button and while in the air tap the "forward" button to
get the Jack-in-the-Box. Hit the radio to tune in "Shout it Out Loud" and then
perform the same type of jump to reach the Scourge.

Climb back up the ramp to the walkway and head for the tunnel at the far end.
On
the way, "use" the posters of the jester to reveal lots of ammo for the Zero
Cannon. Kill the Arachniclown with the Windblade if you haven't already done so
and switch to the Scourge. Smack the Strutters into oblivion and go down the
spillway to the left. The room around the bend contains five Gasbags and a few
Strutters. Strafe in and out of the entryway, whipping the hell out of them as
you do. Enter the next room and turn the valve. Head back out of the tunnels.

Drop down off the ledge and enter the sewer pipe. Dive down into the tank
below,
kill the Strutter, Gasbag, and Spawner and swim up into the pipe over the
Spawner. Climb the ladder and continue on ahead. Kill the Gasbags and Stutters
and Quicksave. Jump from the ledge to the small ledge where the Boots are and
get ready for the Tickler and Gasbags that come for you. Grapple to the hook
above to get the Diamonds, jump down, and head back the way you came. On the
way, use your new jumping ability to grab those Diamonds you passed up on the
way
in.

When you leave the sewer pipe climb the ladder to the walkway and head to the
right. Jump up the pile of crates and over the fence to the area where the
Blademaster is. Blast him to pieces and jump down on the ground to grab the
Diamonds.

At the far end of the fenced area, on top of the crates is the Zero Cannon,
masquerading as a Secret. Grab it and climb back over the fence the way you
came
in.

Before jumping down that pile of crates step out onto the small ledge near the
fence. Walk its length to the two Black Diamonds as the end.

Jump off the explosive canister onto the crate with the Rage Orb. The Secret
component of this one is reaching the top of the crate.

Run back and head around the building to the area you first explored near the
Key.

On the wall across from the Key are three bricks that stick out enough to jump
to. Run and jump to the lowest one and then perform small leaps to the second,
and from there to the roof. Awaiting you at this Secret is a stash of ammo for
your Windblade.

With the Key head for the locked door. Before h eading in, crawl under the ramp
to grab another Blood Rose. This should put you at 250HP.

As you open the door a Headless and Strongman come to stop you. Bust out the
Windblade and smoke the two of them. The doors close once the Strongman dies so
you better get in there quick. Head to the end of the hall and open the wooden
doors.

Area two begins with "Love Gun" pumping from a stereo in the newsstand ahead.
Too bad you have to drown it out with the tat-tat-tat of the Zero Cannon as you
mow down the Stumps to the right and the Gasbag in the newsstand. Jump up and
grab the Blood Rose from above the magazine rack.

Begin down the hall to the left of the magazine rack, but beware! There's a
Meanie Beanie right above that ammo you're about to grab. Run through the hall
and blast the Spawner around the corner to the right. Head back to the room
with
the skulls on the wall. Grapple to the hook in the ceiling, turn and "use" the
skulls to drop Health Vials. Jump onto the ledge for the Diamonds, and then
jump
across to the other ledge for more of the same. Head back down the hall to
where
the Spawner was and grab the Key.

Return to the beginning of the mission, blasting another Meanie Beanie out of
the
air along the way. Enter the other hallway and open the door on the left.
Smoke
the Tickler hovering around in their and grab the ammo from the toilet.

Enter each of the stalls in the bathroom and flush the toilets. To do so, you
will have to precisely position your cross-hairs on the handle. After flushing
them turn and jump up each of the extended bricks to reach the ledge above.
Grab
the ammo and the Rage Orb and jump down.

Leave the bathroom and enter the door to the elevator across the room. You will
emerge in the basement with two Unipsychos heading straight for you. Circle
around the room and blast them with the Windblade. Grab the ammo and health
strewn throughout and then head up the ramp in the center to the war zone that
awaits.

Slice your way across the floor to the angled beam in the rear of the area.
Quickly drop down to the ledge to your left and begin to follow the ledge along
the length of the area. Use the Windblade along the way to take out the four
Spawners above you. Switch back to the Zero Cannon to take care of the Stumps
and Headless running around and criss-cross your way across the beams,
collecting
the ammo in the centers as you go. Return the way came, and head up the ramp to
the right.

Above are two Arachniclowns, a Spawner, and the requisite Headless and Stumps.
Take them all out with the Windblade and Twisters, grab the ammo and Health
Flasks and drop down to the landing below. Two more Arachniclowns lie across
the
open air on another platform. Climb up the angled beam and strafe side to side
on this ledge while you blast away at the Clowns. Tip-toe your way to the Hawk
Eyes, where two Gasbags will bust out ahead of you. Take them out with the
Windblade and move across to the landing. Grab the ammo and kill the Ballbuster
near the door on the right. Follow the path around to the Looking Glass.
You're
on your way out of the Wharfs.

Mission 2: Poison Plant

You begin right outside the Rock City Nuclear Power Plant. Before you head in
though, you better turn around and light up that Blademaster on the rocks above
you. Grab the ammo and the Twister and fry the Headless that attack as you head
up the path and around the corner to the right.

Two Ballbusters stand watch in a prison-style watch tower on the left. A
Spawner
further down the path creates an endless stream of Stumps for you to annihilate.
Depending on where you stand, only one Ballbuster can fire at you at a time.
Use
this to your advantage.

Continue past the drawbridge and past the door on the left. Another Spawner
lies
around the bend. Take it and the Stumps out of business, grab the ammo and then
run around the side of the reactor to grab the Health and Jack-in-the-Box.

Head back to the door you passed, enter it and "use" the Dr. Love machine to get
a Health Vial. Ahhhhh, refreshing! Now use the lever to lower the drawbridge.
Leave the room and head back to the bridge. The tunnel ahead is not as quiet as
it first appears. Dozens of Headless emerge to prevent your passing. Switch to
the Twisters and enjoy your seafood the North Carolina way—fried! At the T-
junction head to the left, run up the ramp and flip the lever. Grab the
Windblade and strafe back and forth across the pipe while you light up the two
Arachniclowns that attack. Head to the other end of the tunnel.

A Spawner left of the entrance and one in the far left corner must be destroyed.
The latter of which spews Gasbags at you. Climb the ladder to obtain the Belt
shard. Turn and leap for the pipe to get the ammo and health and climb back up
the ladder. Run through the tunnel, killing the Headless and dodging the
electric laser traps. Jump onto the platform and switch to the Scourge.

A Meanie Beanie hovering to your right needs a good spanking. Discipline that
little punk. Ahead on the left is an Arachniclown guarding the Exit. He
doesn't
move so just sidestep his lasers while you pummel him with the Windblade. Run
to
the end of the walkway to grab a Blood Rose and then jump onto the roof of the
structure with the ammo. Grab the ammo and climb down the ladders at either end
to grab the Jack-in-the-Boxes. Head to the Exit

Run up the ramp to the central control center. Twister-fy the four Headless
that
attack from the left and enter the corridor on the right. Take out the Tickler
with the Magma Cannon and enter the first door on the right. Smash the Spawner
to the tunes of "Detroit Rock City" and bust open the grating near the floor.
Crawl into the vent to get the Diamonds there. Leave and approach the door on
the left. It short circuits while opening. Turn and enter the door on the
right.

Crush the Spawner and Stumps in this next room and blow out the vent grating.
Duck inside and turn to the left. Don't worry this isn't another Morbid Manor
scenario.

Continue crawling through the ductwork until you come to the grating. Shoot it
out to enter the break room. Use the soda machines and microwave and grab the
goodies throughout the room. The door is still broken so leave the way you came
in.

Back in the hallway, press the button on the terminals along the wall to turn
off
the force field in the other corridor. Run up the ramp and around the control
center, gun in hand. A Spawner at the top of the ramp is sending Stump after
Stump towards you. Forge your way through the madness with the Zero Cannon and
switch to the Magma Cannon to take out the Spawner. Step back as soon as you
do. A Ballbuster and two Spawners are ahead to the right. Use a Rage Orb to
help boost you through this section as the numbers of enemies can get out of
hand
pretty quickly. Fire the Windblade at the Spawners and Ballbuster and then
switch to your weapon of choice for those remaining.

Continue ahead, grab the health and ammo and enter the door on the left. A
Ballbuster stands guard inside the room, along with some horde creatures.
Strafe
back and forth outside the room while nailing him with the Windblade. Enter the
room, kill those still kicking and grab the ammo. Before leaving, press the
button on the terminal across from the door to turn off the next force field.

Climb the stairs to the left to the master computer station. Push the button to
allow access to the Vest shard in the next corridor. As soon as you do a dozen
or so Stumps and Headless leap through the glass above to get you. Simply turn
around and fire away with the Zero Cannon. Once the Stumps are gone, switch to
the Twisters to conserve ammo. Go grab the Vest.

Continue down the stairs and blast the Spawner on the right. Cross the room and
enter the hallway opposite the Spawner. A Blademaster will attack from the left
at the T-junction. Once you kill him, Stumps and Headless will charge you as
well. Head back to the computer room with all the windows and break out the
Windblade. Across the gap a Ballbuster guards the Looking Glass. Break the
windows and gun him down. Jump through the window and grab the items on the
floor and head to the right. You will end up back in the large room you just
exited. Head back down the other hallway on the right and make a left to head
back to where you fought the Blademaster.

Enter the small corridor on the left and follow it all the way straight ahead to
the Arachniclown. Once you best him gather up all the items and approach the
rear wall.

Shoot out the vent above the computers and jump into the ductwork. Follow it
until it spits you out in the other secret area of the mission. Grab the
Diamonds, Jack-in-the-Box, and ammo waiting here for you. Return the way you
came.

Push the buttons to empty tanks 1 and 2 and get moving. Run back down the hall,
past the Stumps that attack and enter the doorway on the left. Make a right and
grab the Jack-in-the-Box and disarm the force field. Pass back through the door
and continue moving ahead to the tanks. The first tank you come to has a
Ballbuster on the ledge across from you. Climb down the ladder as soon as you
can to get out of his sight. There you can take out the Spawner and Gasbags in
relative peace.

Climb the ladder and head to the second tank. Climb down the ladder and take
out
the Spawner before even more Meanie Beanies come at you. Climb the ladder out
of
the tank. Grab the Health Flask and the Galaxion. The Celestial's special
weapon. Test this mother out on the Arachniclown just ahead. Then, for the
sake
of avoiding drastic overkill, switch to the Twisters to blow past the Headless
and their Spawner. Continue ahead through the hordes of Stumps and switch back
to the Galaxion. Around the bend are a pair of Ticklers and a Spawner. One
blast blows them all to hell. You got to love this gun! Take care of any
stragglers and climb the stairs. Work your way to the end of the path where
lies
the Looking Glass.

Mission 3: Acropolis

Acropolis takes places on the rooftops of tall inner city buildings. And that
is
where you begin. As soon as you begin, arm yourself with the Windblade and turn
around. On the ledge of the next building is a Ballbuster who wastes no time in
working you over. Change to the Magma Cannon and start picking off the Gasbags
that show up. Grab the ammo that gets dropped and climb the ladder to the "Cold
Gin" billboard. Run and jump to the building across the way.

Slaughter the Headless that begin to swarm you with the Twister and head around
to the side of the building for the ammo and Hawk Eye.

Step off the rear of the building just beyond the ladder that goes up to the
Hawk Eye. Below on a hidden ledge will be a Rage Orb waiting for you. Climb up
the ladder.

Use the Windblade to take out the Ballbusters that seem to be firing from every
direction, Step out onto the top of the fence to grab the Health Vials and, if
you need more health, run and jump to grab the Health Flask on top of the door
below. Make your way back onto this roof and run up the plank to the next
rooftop.

Climb up the ladder to the "Strutters" billboard and jump onto the ledge of the
building to the left. Walk the ledge to the back of the billboard and jump onto
its walkway to grab the Secret Jack-in-the-Boxes.

Jump down and run across the plank to the building on the left. Around the
corner is a Spawner spitting out a couple of Stumps. Also, you will encounter
several Ballbusters as you work your way around the building. After clearing
out
the Ballbusters, turn your sights towards the Unipsycho in the distance.

Step onto the ledge and follow it around to the next building. Along the way,
blast away at the Fat Lady on the billboard above. Kill the Ballbusters on the
distant rooftops. You can use the Scourge for this if you're running low on
ammo
for the Windblade. Climb the succession of ladders to blue billboard above.
Jump off the left edge to land on the catwalk near a Blood Rose.

Climb the ladder near the "Crazy Nights" sign and switch to the Magma Cannon.
Leap up the pile of crates towards the Stumps and their Spawner. Light them all
up to the tune of "Cold Gin". A Tickler will attempt to defend the Spawner so
be
on the lookout. Grapple up to the billboard to grab the pamphlet and jump back
down. Using the Scourge, whip the Fat Lady into submission without the
annoyance
of being shot at. Strafe a touch to the left and take out the Ballbuster in the
alley below. If you position yourself just right, his cannonballs won't get
past
the side of the building. Again allowing you to whoop some ass in relative
safety.

Jump down (or use the ladder) to where the Fat Lady was to grab the Key. Run
and
jump to the rooftop to where the Ballbuster was and enter the alley. Another
Fat
Lady is directly ahead. Take her out while weaving in and out of the alley to
avoid her distorted weaponry. Approach the side alley and step up onto the
ledge
on the right. Run its length to grab the ammo.

Jump off the ledge to the small platform below near the chimney. Around the
front of the chimney is a Blood Rose. Climb the ladder and jump to the steeple
where the Unipsycho was.

Walk around to the right and drop down onto the ledge. Smash the two Spawners
ahead with the Scourge and then drop down into the pit below the Billboard to
collect the ammo. Climb the ladder behind the drums and take out the Ballbuster
ahead and the one to the left. Climb the ladder on the left and blast away the
Balbuster and Blademaster above.

To the left there is a ladder going back up to the steeple. Climb it and run
and
jump to the nearest Health Flask on top of the doorway. From here, jump to the
lower roof and then up onto the walkway where the Blademaster was. Grab the
item
and leap to the lower rooftop with the canisters and Health Flasks on it. There
is a Fat Lady just out of sight, blocking the alley. Gib her with the Scourge
and move on.

Kill the Spawner and Stumps on the level below and jump onto the billboard to
grab the Hawk Eye. Drop down, grab the ammo, and open the door in the far
corner.

Drop onto the ledge and kill the Unipsycho in the distance along with any
Gasbags
that pop out of the abyss. Walk the ledge and descend the ladder to where the
Unipsycho was. Run up the plank to the next rooftop, kill the Ballbuster and
Unipsycho to the right and climb the ladder to reach another plank.

Cross to the far edge of this rooftop and descend the ladder to the Secret
platform below. Grab the Jack-in-the-Box and head back up the ladder.

Step onto the ledge near the wooden plank and follow it to the left. Take out
the Fat Lady near the exit and then enter the doorway she guarded to move onto
the next area.

You begin the second area on a small ledge with a Blademaster above you and a
Ballbuster to the far right. Grab the ammo on the left and jump down to the
platform below. Turn and take out the Blademaster above along with the
Ballbuster and Tickler that got you under fire.

Grapple to the hook above the Blademaster's body. Here you will find a Secret
Blood Rose.

Jump down to the lower ledge again and make a running leap for the rooftop to
the
right. Grab the ammo and jump the wall to the adjoining roof. Grab the
Twisters
and electrify the Stumps and Spawner to the left. Head back the other direction
and do the same to the Spawner around the corner. Now, bust the crate and take
out the Spawner inside it as well. Switch to a ranged weapon and blast the
Ballbuster to the right. Grab the Health off of the crate by jumping from the
skylights. Head back to where the first Spawner you killed was.

Jump the wall to the next rooftop and grab the ammo. Kill the Ballbuster on the
building ahead and follow the walkway all the way to the right, around the
building.

Another Jack-in-the-Box lies on a platform below you. Descend the ladder to
nab
this Secret and then return the way you came.

Turn on the Twisters and fight your way through the Stumps up and over the
stacked boxes to the Spawner just beyond. Grab the Scourge or Zero Cannon and
nail the Meanie Beanie that appears. Pick up the health on the left and jump to
the steeple on the right. Run to the left to get more health and a Jack-in-the-
Box from the "Cold Gin" billboard. Head back around the steeple to the walkway
where the ammo is. Waste the Ballbuster in the distance, grab the ammo and turn
towards the Spawner on the right.

Use the Windblade to take out the Spawner and the majority of the Stumps. Take
a
running leap across the gap to the crates and from there onto the rooftop where
the Spawner was. Kill any remaining Stumps and grab the ammo and Health. Climb
the ladder and use the Twister to put away the Strutters and their Spawner.
Then
smack the Blademaster into oblivion with the Magma Cannon.

Jump down to the rooftop on the right and kill off the Headless and Tickler that
attack. Climb up to the billboard and grab the Hawk Eye. The area to the
right,
is one that you had already been through. However, this time you must get
across
it via the ledges. If you fall, you will have to backtrack through the majority
of the area. So don't fall.

Run and jump to the ledge across from you. Kill the Ballbuster above you and
head to the far end of the ledge. A Tickler, Headless, and a Spawner threaten
your existence. Put them down and approach the crates.

Carefully jump onto the ledge and, from there, jump onto the crates. Jump up
the pile towards the neon sign to find the Secret Rage Orb.

Jump back down the crates and head past the Spawner onto the slanted roof on the
left. Run and jump to the roof on the left. Grab the ammo, use a Rage Orb to
help take out the two Unipsychos on the ledges in the distance. Also, a Tickler
and a Blademaster need to be killed before you proceed. Hug the wall to the
left
and drop down onto the ledge below where the Health Vials are.

Insert Fig: kiss1094

Grapple to the hook above to grab the Angel Charm lying behind the billboard.

Jump down onto the ledge to where the Unipsycho was and follow it around to the
large glass rooftop. Grab the Twisters and plow your way through the hordes of
Headless to the two Spawners being careful to dodge the putrid nastiness the Fat
Lady throws at you.

Head towards the "Deuce Gasoline" billboard by sliding down the angled glass.
Grab the Health Flask and then detonate the canisters near the glass, thereby
giving you a way in. Switch to the Twisters and drop in. A Strongman across
the
room will need to be kept an eye on, but take out the two Spawners and the
Headless first. Grab the Magma Cannon and knock big guy out. Grab the Key from
across the room on the right and unlock the door nearest where you came in.

Grapple to the hook above and walk the plank over to the billboard. As you grab
the ammo and the Blood Rose here, some Headless will bust through the windows.
Kill them and head back into the stairwell.

Leave the stairwell on the second floor armed with the Twisters, Scourge, or
Zero
Cannon. The reason is the two Blademasters that attack within close range.
After you put them to death walk out onto the beams to grab the Health Flasks if
you need to and then head around the desk to the rear. Nearly twenty Headless
drop through the glass above to stop you from reaching the Key in the corner.
Fry them all and grab the items and head back down the stairs to the other
locked
door.

A Spawner, Headless, and two Blademasters lie beyond that locked door.
Slaughter
them all, grab the Health and open the large metal doors. Arm yourself with the
Magma Cannon, or Galaxion and grab the Plate in the center of the hall. The
doors lock shut and three Ticklers bust through the glass. Line a couple of
them
up with and fire the Galaxion to quickly reduce your work load. Once the last
one is dead, the doors open and you are given a Spawner at the end of the next
hall to deal with.

Take him out and head to the right. Blast the Headless and the Spawner through
the opening in the ceiling. Grapple up to the next floor and take out the Fat
Lady above. Run and sizzle the Spawners at the far end. Step out onto the ledge
to the right, grab the health and then dash across the top of the wall to the
larger area on the right. A Ballbuster will try and knock you off, so move
quick. Take out the two Spawners and the Stumps on the far side then aim your
arsenal at the Ballbuster near the exit.

Grapple to the hook over the large light fixture. Drop down on top of the
fixture to grab a Secret Blood Rose.

Jump down and walk the ledge to the Exit.

After your brief elevator ride you are once again thrown right in the thick of
things. The final area of Acropolis begins with a Ballbuster and an army of
Headless coming for you. The added catch is that one wrong step spells game
over
for you. Use the Scourge to take out the Ballbuster and then, before going
after
the Headless, shoot the Spawner ahead of you. Another one is above you. Take
it
out from across the room then step onto the ductwork and electrify the Headless
there. Grab the Jack-in-the-Box and then climb the ladder.

On your way up the ladder, if you need Health, step out onto the light fixture,
grab the Health Flask, and if you want more run and jump onto the ductwork
against the wall for another. Head back to the ladder and continue climbing.

Now step off the ladder to the level of ductwork above. Grab the ammo from
nearby the Spawner behind you and then follow it to the far side of the room.
To
your right is a Stump generating Spawner. Take them out and flip the lever on
the wall.

Grapple to the hook above. Kill the Arachniclown below and drop down to grab
the Secret Rage Orb. Follow this walkway around to the Blood Rose and then
return and jump back down to the lever.

Return to the ladder and climb to the top and jump from landing to landing
collecting all of the ammo and health you desire. Return to the base of the
ladder and jump to the main walkway near the wall and head up the ramp to the
now-
open doorway.

A Fat Lady will be guarding the entrance, so take her out with the Windblade
prior to entering the next area. Just ahead to the left is a Strongman and
several Headless from an out of reach Spawner. If you venture into the room far
enough to take out the Spawner you risk taking hits from a distant Ballbuster.
Instead, make quick work of the Strongman with the Windblade and then switch to
the Scourge to kill off the rest of them, including the Ballbuster. Run the
ledge along the far wall to grab the ammo. On the way, three Ticklers will
attack as will two more Ballbusters. Use the Galaxion to take out as many of
them as you can. Finish off the Twisters with the Magma Cannon and the
Ballbusters with the Scourge.

Bash the Spawner around the corner and any Headless they succeed in producing.
Go up the ramp, kill the Spawner and take out the Arachniclown around the
corner. Step out onto the upper ductwork and follow it to collect ammo and a
Chaos Heart. Jump down to the lower ductwork and approach the row of Spawners
on
the platform. Take the Spawners out quickly with the Twister and then grab the
Scourge to handle the two Unipsychos that come after you.

Follow the walkway to the right, where another Spawner is positioned. Further
down, Stumps, a Spawner, and two Ticklers await you. Grab the Health Vials and
the ammo and then turn your Windblade loose on the three Ballbusters on the
ledges below to the right.

In the corner, near the Health Vials is a vent that you can shoot open and
enter. Climb the ladder inside and shoot out the venting on the left. Step
onto
the ductwork and drop down to the right to grab the Black Diamonds.

Shoot through the venting directly in front of you and climb the ladder inside.
Once again, bust out of the ductwork via the vent on the left. Walk out and
grab
the Secret Blood Rose. Run off the to the left to grab the Jack-in-the-Box
and
jump down to the right.

Return to where you first entered the ductwork and step off the ledge onto the
Jack-in-the-Box to the right. Jump your way across to the doorway in the
corner. Once on the landing, hug the wall and make your way around the ledge to
the right to grab some ammo (this should be a Secret but isn't). Head back
around the ledge and proceed down the hallway, blasting away at the Stumps and
Tickler as you go.

Grab the Health Flask and descend the ladder. Run the loop to the platform and
kill the three Stumps there. Climb the ladder to the ledge high above and
immediately kill the Ballbuster standing above with his back to you. Jump
onto
the ductwork to grab the Health and climb the ramp to the left.

A seemingly endless stream of Meanie Beanies will emerge from the red screen on
the wall. Don't worry you only have to kill five them. At which time, a Blood
Rose and Rage Orb will appear on the altar.

Beyond the red screen is a hallway that will take you to the Looking Glass.
Before you head off down that path carefully walk around the left side of the
wall to grab the Secret Angel Charm.

Run down the hallway to the hot air balloon and the two Blademasters that flank
it. Enjoy your invincibility and run up the steps and slaughter them both.
Head
for the Looking Glass to leave this place.

Mission 4: Midway

Begin this funhouse by stepping off the platform and grabbing the Health Flask
and ammo under the stairs. Before you head down the main steps across the
abyss,
do yourself a favor and take out the three Blademasters that guard the entrance.
From your position, you can easily duck any blades you may find bearing down on
you.

Jump to where the Blademaster on the left was. Grab the ammo and enter the
corridor that goes behind the entrance. Push the button to turn off the force
field and use the Twisters to fry the Ballbuster just ahead. Grab the Jack-in-
the-Box from the ledge ahead and return to climb the ladder. Enter Midway.

Grab the Pamphlet and continue on. Take out the Spawner to the left and then
move across the room towards the Stumps on the right. Use the Galaxion to take
them out along with their Spawner in one big shot; allowing you to devote more
concentration on the Ballbusters across the water.

Follow the walkway up the steps past the collapsed Spawner. Jump onto the small
ledge and jump over to where the Ballbusters were so as to collect the ammo.
Return to the main path and continue on.

Carefully jump the electric traps as you continue to the room with the ammo in
the corners. Two Headless will fall from the ceiling. Grab the Scourge to take
them out and move to the right hand corner next to the exit. Whip the Spawner
into submission along with the Stumps on the stairs. Before leaving the safety
of the room, kill the Unipsycho on the building across the way.

Equip yourself with the Windblade and take a step or two out of the room while
facing to the right. An Arachniclown and a Ballbuster have you in a crossfire
but don't worry, the Ballbuster can't shoot you if you stay near the doorway.
Once you put the two of them away, proceed down the steps and jump to where the
Arachniclown was to get the items. Continue on up the stairs, pausing only to
take out the Ballbuster in the tower.

At the top of the stairs you will find the Admit One" ticket to the carnival.
Grab it, fall through the hole, and continue up the stairs again. This time,
jump to where the first Ballbuster was to grab the items, jump back onto the
stairs and head back up the path past the electric traps to where you entered
the
carnival.

Deposit your ticket in the box at the end of the ramp to turn off the force
field. Head down the hall, equip with the Galaxion, use a Rage Orb and grab the
Elder Mask in the center of the large room ahead. Ticklers, Meanie Beanies,
Gasbags, and Spawners all appear. Kill as much as you can with the Galaxion and
then take out the Spawners on the ledge above. Use the Zero Cannon for the
quick
little Meanie Beanies, and the Scourge and Magma Cannon work well on the others.
After killing the Spawners, you may wish to reenter the hallway you came from.
This will protect you from the Meanie Beanies and also cause the enemies to
funnel into you.

Enter the alcove to the right of where you came in and climb the stairs. After
making the turn to the left, a Ballbuster will begin firing at you from above.
Take him out with two shots of the Windblade and keep moving.

At the top of the stairs you will meet the Grinder. Beware his extremely fast
firing rate as you whoop up on him with the Windblade. Take out the two
Spawners
and Stumps that flank him and head around to the platform in back.

Head to the right and descend the ladder. Crawl around the busted screen to
find several items in this Secret spot.

Back on the platform, head around the left side of this area. Kill the two
Meanie Beanies in the corner on the left and continue on. Pass by the Fat Lady
for now and destroy the Spawner in the rear corner. Continue around the area to
the other side.

Open the door and descend the ladder to find the other Secret area at Midway.

Climb back up the ladder and return to where you began this area. Jump onto the
triangular ledge where the Spawner is. Carefully walk the perimeter of this
wall, jumping around the light poles, to gather up the remaining items in this
mission. When done, gib the Fat Lady in the narrow corridor to proceed to the
Exit which she guards.

Boss: Stargrave

The boss of the Air Realm is Stargrave, your not-so-ordinary guy on stilts.
Stargrave busts out of shackles to end your romp through his world. Stargrave
has three ways in which he can hurt you. Throughout the fight, whenever your
distant from him, he throws shockifying skulls at you. They will bounce after
you and can electrify you without hitting you. Your best bet is to run and jump
away from them as they will not shock you while in the air. The second weapon
of
his is a powerful laser blast that he fires like an assault rifle. By
continuously circling him and keeping your distance you should be able to avoid
this as well. Finally, his third method of inflicting pain is by simply kicking
those who come too close. Don't come too close and you'll have nothing to worry
about.

The Galaxion, Windblade, and Magma Cannon work well against Stargrave. However,
once you drain his life meter, he recharges via the electrical charging stations
throughout the arena. Only after his first recharge can you begin wailing on
the
charging stations. To your benefit there is good amount of regenerating Health
Flasks and ammo on the platform encircling the arena. Take out the charging
stations with the Magma Cannon and use the Galaxion on Stargrave. But,
remember! Aim for the legs, they're the weakest part of a man on stilts.

Even with all of the charging stations destroyed, Stargrave will draw one last
boost of power from the light sources in the room. Keep on the run, watching
out
for the pit in the center of the room, and blast him from afar. If you find
yourself near him duck behind the charger for cover and switch to a weapon that
won't harm you when fired at close range, like the Scourge

Fire Realm

Mission 1: Doom Forge

Once again you begin in an altered form of the Roadhouse unarmed with a mere
25HP. Wait for the Headless to fall through the pit then head to the Pamphlet
in
the corner. Flip the lever to turn off the flame and head into the next room to
grab the Gauntlets and the Punisher, one of the most bad-ass weapons in all of
gaming! Sort of. Unfortunately, its depressing rate of fire counteracts its
gib-
inducing strengths. Only use it when swarmed.

Bust through the crates and kill the Headless and Spawners in the next room.
Open the doors and grab the Magma Cannon. Puree the Headless that jump you and
move on through the other door. Slice your way up the stairs and take out the
Spawner. Grab the Health Vial from the beam and jump down through the small
hole
in the floor (not near the beam) and start blasting away at the Unipsycho. Grab
the Health from the corners of the room and open the bay door to exit.

Kill the Stump and walk the edge around to the items. Drop down to the platform
below and take out the Spawner and Headless before jumping down again. Grab the
items and take out the Grinder in the hall to your right. Grab the Health and
open the doors behind the body of the Grinder. A Spawner emitting Gasbags is on
the loft in front of you. Blast them out of the sky. While still in the
entryway, turn on the Jukebox to hear "God of Thunder". Wait for the song to
finish to grab the ammo. Carefully walk the ledge around to the right to grab
the items near the amps. Jump back over and swing around to the left. A
Ballbuster from across the room will begin firing at you. Stand behind the
center post so as to not get hit and blast away at him with the Magma Cannon.
Grab the Windblade and approach the bar.

Jump from the bar onto the tipped over jester poster. From there, jump to the
side rail of the dilapidated staircase. Tip-toe up to the loft to grab the
items
waiting for you Secretively.

Jump back down and exit the room left of the liquor shelf. As soon as you enter
the next hall a Tickler is on you. Hack him up with the Punisher and switch to
the Magma Cannon. Another one is just ahead. Make your way to the right first.
When the coast is clear, jump across the gap in the floor to the door on the
left. Open it and grab the Chaos Heart hiding here. Jump back across and
continue down the hall.

Crawl under the half-open bay door and onto the tiny ledge on the left. Walk
around the post to find a Secret Blood Rose. Head back to where you left the
bar.

Pass through the doorway and kill the Stumps and Spawner on the right. Grab the
Health Vial from the angled beam and head down the stairs to the Exit.

Run down the hallway, kill the two Stumps and switch to the Magma Cannon. As
you
open the door you will be attacked by a Tickler. Shoot the Tickler and grab the
Punisher to lay a hurting on the Headless and their Spawner. Grab the Diamonds
from under the stairs and head to the left. Climb the ladder and watch the
flames in the blast furnace. As soon as the flames begin to fade, dash through
to the opening on the other side. Continue on to the next ladder. Your efforts
will be rewarded at the top of the tower with the Boots. Walk along the edge to
grab the pamphlet, health, and ammo then shoot through the windows and enter the
building.

Before heading into the building jump from the ledge to the furnace you first
climbed up. From there, carefully jump to the ledge to grab the Diamonds and
Jack-in-the-Box.

Send a shot from the Windblade across the room to take out the Spawner and open
the doors around the corner. Double back into the hall as soon as the doors are
opened, as a Ballbuster is right on you, as are several Headless. Once you put
them away. Go for the Spawner in the corner on the left and the Ballbuster on
the roof directly ahead of you. Descend the ladder and kill the Unipsycho. Go
through the opening into the alley. Alternate swipes of the Punisher with shots
from the Windblade to take out the Arachniclown and Spawner in the distance, as
well as the Headless that approach you. Grab the ammo from the far end of the
alley and enter the building you pass on your right.

A Tickler and the Stumps from two Spawners attempt to guard a lever in the
corner of the room. Quickly get off a round or two of the Windblade in the
direction of the Spawners and then grab the Punisher to take care of the Stumps
and Tickler (if he comes close enough). Flip the lever to lower the lift. Of
course it will not come down empty. Gib the Ballbuster as he steps off the
lift. Ride it up and blast the Strutter at the top.

Grab the health and then run up the stairs. Blast the Spawner and company from
across the way and switch to the Magma Cannon. Just left of the doorway is a
Unipsycho waiting for you to exit the stairwell. Waste him too and then grab
the
ammo. Flip the lever to open the door at the base of the stairs you just came
up. Head back down and go through the door to ride another lift down.

With the Magma Cannon in hand, begin strafing around the room and firing. Two
Ballbusters and a gang of Headless will be attacking at once. As long as you
keep circling the room, the Headless won't be able to dig their claws in and the
Ballbusters shouldn't be able to line up a good shot. Grab the ammo and health
and climb the steps to the loading dock. Leave the room through the open door.

Kill the Spawner and Stumps to your left as fast as possible. Then weave your
way through the pile of crates, picking up the Health Vials along the way. A
Stump and a Ballbuster hide within the stack so be on the ready with the Magma
Cannon. Leave the room and take out the Spawner at the top of the stairs and
begin ascend the stairs. You will come out of the stairwell high up in the room
with the crates. Jump from beam to beam to continue on through the opening on
the other side.

Just past the second beam on the right are a couple of items amongst the
crates
below. Jump down to grab them and return up the stairs to continue.

Break through the window on the left and follow the walkway around to the next
doorway. Strafe in and out of the doorway to kill the Ballbuster and
Arachniclown in the next area. Cross the pit of lava on the walkway and head to
the left. In the next area are two Ballbusters, one at each end. Once you kill
them head down the stairs in the rear of the room, Windblade in hand.

Four Spawners, one in each corner, are setting forth an army of Strutters for
you
to contend with. Take out the Spawners as quick as you can and then use the
Magma Cannon or Punisher along with Jack-in-the-Boxes to demolish the horde.

Leave through the door marked Exit.

Grab the items and Zero Cannon and dodge the flames in the next tunnel. You
will
come to a large circular arena where two Unipsychos pedal around feverishly
attempting to light all of the pipes aflame. Once the circle is complete, the
room is engulfed in flames. The Unipsychos will ignore you until you begin
firing at them. Use the Zero Cannon to put out a couple of the lit pipes and
then switch to the Magma Cannon and blast away at one of the Unipsychos. Don't
go after the kill just yet, you have to keep putting out the flames. So switch
back to the Zero Cannon and douse a couple of pipes and then go back after the
Unipsychos. Keep this up, all the while grabbing the Health Flasks if you need
them, until the two cyclists are dead.

Leave through one of the two doors that open (they both lead to the same place)
and grab the items. Using the Windblade, dispose of the two Ballbusters across
the pit. Once they are dead, grab the Scourge and grapple across to the Looking
Glass. Don't leave just yet. Grapple to the far left corner of the room to get
the ammo first.

Mission 2: Molten Vein

Begin the new mission by hacking up the Spawner and Headless with the Punisher.
Quickly grab the Windblade and off the Ballbuster coming down the hall. Grab
the
ammo and Health Flask and move ahead to the Spawner around the corner to the
left. Get the Jack-in-the-Box from behind the pipe and then take out the Fat
Lady beyond the Spawner.

Climb the ladder to the floor above. Jump to grab the ammo and Hawk Eyes on the
pipes and then climb again and approach the pile of crates.

Smash the tiny crate on the right. It busts to pieces revealing an alcove in
the wall containing a Blood Rose.

Jump over the crates to grab the remaining items and continue on into the next
corridor. Kill the Meanie Beanie and descend the ladder. There you will face
two Spawners and their Gasbags and Headless. Deal with the Headless and their
Spawner first. Just ahead of you to the left is a Blademaster waitin to ambush
you. Take him out with a blast of the Windblade and then take out the Gasbags
and their Spawner. Across the lava is a Ballbuster. Once you kill him, grapple
to the hook and grab the ammo and flip the lever he was guarding. On the way
back you will have to kill a Ballbuster who appeared. Once you do, jump back
across to the main floor and jump to the left.

Kill the Ballbuster and Unipsycho across the moat and head for the ladder in the
rear. Grab the item behind the pipe and then climb the ladder. Quickly step
off
the ladder to the left, grab the Health Flask and begin popping Gasbags. By
staying near the wall on the right, you will be able to kill the Fat Lady
without
her hitting you. Descend the ladder here and grab the Angel Charm behind the
pipe.

With the help of the Angel Charm, jump into the lava and head to the right.
Climb the ladder in the short tunnel to emerge where the Fat Lady was standing.
Grab the Blood Rose and jump off the platform onto the pipes to collect the
Diamonds.

Follow the third pipe back the tunnel behind the Fat Lady. Kill the Spawner and
other Fat Lady and flip the lever behind the Fat Lady to open the door. Destroy
the Spawner on top of the arch and jump to the Chaos Heart. Jump back to the
walkway and continue ahead and to the right.

Smack the Spawner and Headless to pieces and then move in to kill the Spawner
and
Stumps to the left. Leap from the stairs to land on the ledge to grab the Jack-
in-the-Boxes. Jump down and head up the stairs. Grab the ammo and flip the
lever in the center of the room. Two Spawners and Stumps appear in the corners
of the room. Grab the Windblade and strafe across the room, lighting them up.
Grab the Health Flasks behind the now-defunct Spawners and head back down the
stairs.

On your left as you head down the stairs is a pile of crates. Smash the ones
nearest the wall to reveal several Health Flasks. Head back to the arch you
crossed earlier and enter the now open door on the right. Kill the Fat Lady and
then the Ballbuster above and to the left. Enter the room with the crates and
shoot open the large crate in the center of the room. A Spawner and two Stumps
will emerge quickly hack them up with the Punisher and then jump up the tall
stack of crates and crouch and jump onto the pipe.

Leap from the pipe onto the crates near the wall with the Diamonds on it. Grab
the Diamonds and head towards the Rage Orb. Leap onto the pipe with the ammo
and
from there onto the ledge where the Ballbuster was to get the Secret Rage Ob.

Jump down and head back to the room with the crates. In the rear right corner
are more breakable crates. Smash them open and turn the wheel in the second
crate. This will help you find the fourth secret. Flip the lever and proceed
through the door as it opens.

Take out the Ballbuster and flip the lever to raise the heavy bars. Grab the
Belt and jump to the platform on the right to grab the Health Flasks. Climb the
ladder and walk the pipe to the Pamphlet. Return down the ladder and crawl
through the opening towards the Spawner. Shoot the Spawner with the Windblade
and then switch to the Magma Cannon to destroy the Meanie Beanie.

Directly behind the Spawner is another wheel to turn (if you turned the one in
the crate room). Turn this valve here and a secret hatch will open on the other
side of this pipe. Kill the Ballbuster and jump the lava to grab the Blood
Rose.

Jump to the walkway on the right and follow it past the Unipsycho and Spawner.
Kill the last Fat Lady and Spawner at the end of the path and flip the lever to
exit this area.

Here it is, the level you knew was coming but hoped wouldn't. You begin this
area with a lot of jumping from slowly sinking islands within a sea of lava.
Its
actually rather short-lived so don't get too upset.

From where you stand at the beginning of the area, grapple to the hook above.
The hook contains a Secret Blood Rose. What a way to start out the level

Grab the ammo from the lift as well as near the pipes on the far wall. Run up
the ramp and turn the wheel to open the large bay door. Lava fills the room and
will continue to rise. You must be nimble to get through this area. Quicksave!

Grab the Punisher and de-limb the two Headless around the first bend. Make your
way past the fire and around to the left. Mindful of the Ballbuster on the
ledge
above, jump to the Jack-in-the-Box, left to grab the Hawk Eye (only if you
really
care about items or Hawk Eyes), and then back to the right to the next slab.
Jump to grab the ammo and from there to the pipe on the left. Quicksave.

Make your way to the left tunnel to grab the Chaos Heart and then back again
towards the pipe. Jump to grab the Diamonds and from there to the walkway on
the
right. Hack through the Headless and their Spawner, walk around the pipe via
the
mostly submerged pipe and destroy another Spawner.

Grapple to the ring across the way and land on the Draco. Run up the pipe to
grab the not-so-Secret Rage Orb.

Drop down onto the ledge and jump to where the Diamonds are. Jump again, to the
other side towards the Spawners in the distance. Smash the Spawners, grab the
ammo, and follow the path around to the left and climb the ladder. As you step
off the ladder you will acquire the Vest.

Hordes of Headless and a Ballbuster will attack you. Keep your back against the
wall and swing the Punisher with everything you got. Step out onto the pipe to
the left to grab the Blood Rose and then head around the turn.

Bust the part of the wall with the missing bricks. A hole will be revealed
containing a lot of ammo. Grab this Secret, you're going to need it.

Continue down the path, kill the Fat Lady and start running. A couple of
Spawners a Ballbuster, and a bunch of Headless await you just ahead. Use the
Draco to take out the Ballbuster on the screened floor and then switch to the
Punisher for the Headless. Grab the items and head back around onto the
concrete
walkway. Kill another Fat Lady and jump onto the pipe for another Blood Rose.
Work your way around the corner past the Spawner and then past the Grinder.

Quicksave before trying this as you'd hate to die going for a Pamphlet!
Carefully jump to the pipe on the right and crawl into the hole in the wall to
grab the Secret Pamphlet.

Continue on your current path to the door marked Exit. Behind the door is a
Meanie Beanie so be on guard with the Zero Cannon.

The last area of Molten Vein doesn't waste any time getting you under attack.
Grab the Zero Cannon and take out the Headless and dash ahead to start
destroying
Spawners before even more Headless are on you. Take out the Spawner on the pipe
above, as well as the Ballbuster on the ledge. Before climbing the ladder, head
down the tunnel and obliterate the Spawners on the left and right. Grab the
Windblade and take care of the Fat Lady and Tickler while you're at it. Head
back to the ladder you passed earlier, you're going to get those HP back.

Climb the ladder on the pipe and jump across to the other pipe to get the Blood
Rose. You will return here shortly to flip the lever to reveal a secret in a
later area. Head back across the pipe and follow the Diamonds up to the
platform
above where some Health awaits you. Descend the ladder and climb the short
ladder near the Fat Lady. Flip the lever here and head towards the now open
door
around the corner.

Another Fat Lady and two Stumps meet you at the door. Take care of them and
move
on to kill the Spawner and Ballbuster down the path.

Return back to the previous room and cross over the pipes to the lever you did
not flip. Flip the lever and run your ass off back to this room. Grapple to
the
ring over the pipe, run the ledge to the right, and dive into the room behind
the
opened metal door. Alas, nothing! Use the lever to reopen the door and leave.

Cross back over the pipe and open the door. Another Spawner and Ballbuster need
to be put down before advancing. Step out onto the pipe to grab the health and
then jump down and pull the lever to open the door. Punish the Headless and
Spawner in the next area and use another lever to open the door. Knock the
Meanie Beanie out of the air with the Punisher and then climb the ladder.

About two-thirds of the way up this ladder, behind you, is a small alcove with
a
Chaos Heart. Jump over to it to find this Secret. Continue climbing the
ladder.

Take out the Ballbuster across the room and the Spawner right above you and head
down the stairs. Grab the Key from the far side of the room and return to
unlock
the door.

Grab the Windblade and enter the room. Take out the Unipsycho on the left,
the
Spawner around the corner to the right, and the Fat Lady on the platform left of
the Spawner.

Carefully approach the edge near the Fat Lady. Below the two Health Flasks, on
a pipe, is a Hawk Eye. Drop down onto the pipe to grab this Secret. Just make
sure you're lined up or else it's lava city for you!

Make your way back into the room you jumped from and jump up the stack of crates
to the ledge where the Unipsycho was. Walk out into the next room, grab the
Diamonds and the ammo, and approach the wall that is missing some bricks.

You can walk right through this wall into a secret area behind it to gather up
a
Blood Rose. Grab the Rose and head back around to the previous room.

Jump down off the ledge and follow the corridor past the defunct Spawner.
Strafe
left to right to dodge the rapid firing Grinder in the next hall. Keep moving
and take out the Ballbuster high on the left.

Round the corner and destroy the Tickler and the Spawner. You are now behind
the
pistons. Walk up the ramp in the far corner of the room to reach the
Jack-in-the-
Boxes. Climb the ladder, Punisher in hand, and take out the Headless and
Spawner. Grab the ammo and Health Vials and continue on.

Battle through the Unipsychos, Ballbusters, and Fat Lady in the next area. Grab
the ammo and Health Vials and jump onto the ladder over the lava to climb up.
Grab the Chaos Heart and then jump onto the pipe on the right. Follow it to the
Blood Rose at the end and either jump down to get the ammo, or return to the
ladder. Either way, tip-toe across the beam near the lava and turn to the left.
Run and jump to the pipe coming in from the right. Land on the pipe, grab the
items and ammo and descend the ladder in the small alcove near the ammo to grab
the Rage Orb. Retrace your steps.

Grab the Punisher and pound the army of Headless the charge you. Take out the
two Spawners and switch to the Scourge. A Unipsycho and Ballbuster on the left,
and another Ballbuster on the right will attack. Take cover under the three
pipes on the left and off one of the enemies at a time. Grab the items, Health,
and ammo and climb the ladder to exit through the Looking Glass.

Mission 3: Nether Station

From where you begin, grapple across the lava using the ring. Jump down quickly
and position yourself under the pipe to avoid getting hit by the Ballbuster.
Take out the Stumps and then the Ballbuster. Grapple to the next ring, drop
down
and run up the ramp to dispatch the Fat Lady. Carefully walk along the metal
beam to the far side where you will find a Spawner. Shoot the barrels on the
ledge above you to take care of the Ballbuster shooting at you. Run across the
ledge to the far side, face the left and look down.

Instead of jumping across to the other ledge, drop down onto the floor below
and
open the metal door. Inside you will find some ammo, hiding in secrecy. Return
to the where you were before jumping down.

Jump to the ledge and head up the stairs. Take out the Headless and Spawner to
the right and then enter the area on the left to grab the Health Flasks where
the
Ballbuster was. In the area to the right, a Unipsycho attacks. Kill him and
then shoot the barrels to blow out the rock wall.

Head through the opening you created and go down the walkway to the left.
Shoot
out the rocks blocking the small entranceway. Enter the area to grab some more
Secret ammo. Return the way you came.

Head up the ramp to the right of the large opening. Kill the Spawner at the top
of the ramp and step out into the next area. Carefully walk down the ramp and
onto the arch going to the left. Pass under the tracks and grab the Health
Flasks on the rock ledge. Return to where you entered this area. Kill the
Gasbag and make your way down the ledge to the right. A handful of Headless
attack from behind so be on the ready.

Enter the room at the bottom and be ready to take on two Gasbags and a
Unipsycho. Gather up the ammo they drop and head through the room to the right.
Jump to each of the first three platforms. Shoot the beams ahead that hold the
crates, thereby letting the crates fall. Jump to these next two crates and then
to the ladder. Take out the Strutters and Ballbuster at the top and grab the
next Armor Shard.

Cautiously step out onto the tracks of the machine sliding back-and-forth from
the furnace. Across the room, high on the furnace, is a small gray hatch.
Shoot
it to open a large secret space on the furnace that will give you a Blood Rose
and Angel Charm. Cross the tracks to where you grabbed the Chest Plate.

Watch the flame bursts within the center column. Run across without getting
burnt, climb the ladder, grab the health, and jump to the far ladder. Climb the
ladder to the top with the Punisher in hand. Take out the two Spawners and then
switch to the Scourge or Windblade to kill the Fat Lady. The large metal door
opens upon her death.

Before entering through this door (it locks you in) return to the ladder you
just climbed. Near the top of the ladder, on the center column, an ledge has
been revealed. Jump to this ledge from the ladder to gather up some ammo and a
Rage Orb. Return up the ladder and go through the door near the corpse of the
Fat Lady.

Jump over the gap and slide down the arched surface to the floor below. A
Unispcycho, some Gasbags, and about ten Headless attack. Use the Punisher on
the
Headless and Unipsycho, and then take out the Gasbags with something ranged.
Don't run behind the center column, or else the severe heat will scorch your HP
meter!

With the death of the Headless, a walkway will emerge in the center of the lava
pit. Grab the Health Flasks, and proceed through the barred entrance to the
station. As soon as you enter, three Gasbags attack from your front. Also, a
Spawner and its Headless offspring attack from the right. Use a Rage Orb, blast
them all to hell, and watch those tracks! Instant death if you get hit by the
coaster! Cross the tracks to grab the Health Flask and watch any Headless get
run over. Punish the Spawner, wait for the coaster to roar on by, and then
follow after it. Play it safe by stepping off the tracks onto each of the
ledges
until it passes again.

The train won't be the only thing you have to worry about on the tracks.
Spawners, Headless, Unipsycho, and Stumps will try to stop you. Switch back and
forth between the Punisher and the Scourge to get rid of them. Grab the Health
and ammo from the ledges and continue on. When you get to the large landing on
the right, jump off the tracks and grab the Magma Cannon. Strutters and a
Strongman guard the Exit. Grab the Health Flasks and keep on blasting. The
Exit
is yours once the Strongman is toppled.

You begin the second area of the mission in Vincent Station. Grab the Health
Flasks directly behind you, kill the Headless and Ballbuster waiting for you on
the platform and approach the Ticket Counter.

"Use" the Ticket Counter window to open it. Grab the Secret Hawk Eye inside.

Head down the tracks to the left. Don't worry, no trains are coming. Take out
the Ballbuster and Gasbags to the left and continue on to Criss Station. Slice
away at the baddies there and grab the items. Move down the ramp, killing the
Ballbuster on the way. Grab the ammo from the ledge and battle your way past
the
Strutters, Headless, and Ballbusters to the bottom of the ramp. Grab the Health
Flask from the far side of the Newsstand and continue down the ramp to Frehley
Station.

Arm yourself with the Punisher and take out the Spawners, Headless, and two
Unipsychos. Head up the tracks to the right, battling through hordes of
Headless
as you go.

Jump to the ladder on the left and QUICKLY descend into the lava, crouch down
and grab the Angel Charm and Blood Rose under the wall. You may want to
Quicksave before going for this one. Climb up the ladder and continue on.

Waste the three Ballbusters on the ledges ahead and run up each of the ramps on
either side of the tracks to get the goodies. As you move up the ramp on the
left behind the wall, Stumps will attack from behind so be prepared. Drop a
couple of Jack-in-the-Boxes down on them and you'll be OK.

Continue up the tracks and into Carr Station. Bust out the Punisher and lay it
on the Headless and Gasbags. If you jump and swing you can even kill the
Gasbags
with it, provided they're not too high in the air.

Destroy the map of the train system to find a hidden spot with a Rage Orb and
Blood Rose in it. As soon as you grab them a Fat Lady and nearly twenty
Headless
attack.

Cross through the station and go down the next set of tracks to Stanley Station.
Grab the Blood Rose in the center of the tracks on the way down and then start
blasting away with the Magma Cannon. An Arachniclown and a gaggle of Headless
greet you near the station. Grab the ammo and Health and step back onto the
tracks. Use the Windblade to smoke the Ballbuster in the distance and then step
gingerly onto the ledge on the left. Cross the pipe to where the Ballbuster
stood and ascend. Jump to the ledge on the left, grab the Health and take out
the Gasbags. Start slicing through the Stumps that attack to the beats of "God
of Thunder".

Ascend the next pipe and ramp to Simmons Station. Destroy the Spawner and
remaining Stumps and head to the Looking Glass.

Kids Don't Try This at Home: Feeling like you can lick anything this game has
to
offer you? Go ahead and Quicksave and then take aim on the two speakers above
the Looking Glass. When the second one is blown, you will be locked in the
station with eight Unipsychos. You can't exit until the last one is put to
rest. If you make it that long!

Mission 4: Gloomvale

Grab the Health Vials behind you, step through the doors and "Use" the barrel to
get some extra ammo. You will be able to do this several times throughout the
mission.

Grapple to the ring on the tower to the right of where you begin. Jump to the
tiny ledge opposite the tower and make your way back over your starting point.
Grab the ammo and items there.

Continue up the ramps, jump to grab the Chaos Heart, and use its special powers
to waste the Blademasters all around. As the last one falls, gates near the
pouring lava in the next area open, revealing Unipsychos and a Ballbuster. Shoot
the barrels to detonate on the Strutters and use the Windblade to take care of
the army of enemies.

Grapple to the ring to the right of the lava to drop onto a high ledge. There
you will find more Health and ammo to aid you in your mission. Jump back down
and enter the room behind the "lavafall".

Gather the items there and flip the lever, thereby opening the door under the
clock. Grab the Windblade and start blasting the two Ballbusters and Stumps
that
meet you in the courtyard. Upon their death, the bars to the right of the clock
are lifted. However, grab the Health Flasks from the room under the clock and
shoot the wall. A locked door is revealed. Return here later once you flip a
certain lever.

Before entering the now opened area, take out the barrels from a safe distance
with the Zero Cannon. Enter the next room, armed with the Windblade, prepared
to
battle several Unipsychos. Forge your way into the room to the right where you
can destroy the Spawner and grab a BUNCH of ammo! Reenter the main room and
blast away at the Unipsychos.

Bust out the Scourge and grapple to the ring near the two pipe ends over where
you entered the room. Drop down onto a Secret ledge to find some ammo. Jump
down and head up the stairs.

At the top of the stairs you will emerge through a cleverly painted clown face.
If you jump into the Ticket booth and look to the left you can see an Angel
Charm. You can't get it yet, but soon. Open the door and grab the Elder Mask
that awaits.

Grapple to the ring left of the dragon face over the door. Drop down into the
Secret area and grab the Angel Charm and other assorted niceties. While you're
invincible, grapple back to the main area in front of the door and start firing.

A Grinder, Strutters, and semi-transparent Ticklers attack. Use the Punisher to
take out the ground troops while you're invincible and then aim your Magma
Cannon
at the Tickler. Enter the doorway and follow the ramp to the tent area of the
carnival. Jump onto the decking on the right to get out of the swarm of
Headless. Blast the two Blademasters then slice through the Headless. Run
through the tent at the end of the yard to grab the health boosts there. The
bars will remain down until you obtain the Ticket.

Descend the dirt walkway below the decking in the courtyard and battle your way
across the wooden platform. Use a Rage Orb and drop off the platform and into
the pit of Hell itself. Use the Punisher to take out the Spawners and the horde
creatures they create as fast as you can, then take on the Strongman with the
guns. Start blasting the Blademasters while you dodge their firepower. Grab
the
ammo and Health Flasks littering the area and head down the side paths behind
the
cages. Descend the ramp to the checkered floor below.

Stomp out the Spawner ahead and then duck behind the ramp to grab one of the two
Blood Roses there. Use the Windblade to kill the many Blademasters in the room
and battle your way around the corner to take out another Spawner. Grab the
Health and, if the room has been cleared, begin up the spiral stairs. Three
Ballbusters will attack on the staircase. Double-back down the stairs to rid
the
room of them.

At the top of the stairs you will be instantly faced with an Arachniclown among
other enemies, like numerous Gasbags. Use a Rage Orb and strap on the Windblade
to clear the room. Blast the enemies and climb the first ramp, careful not to
fall in the pit. Kill the Meanie Beanies and Strongman there and keep firing
until not a soul stirs.

Enter the side room where the Meanie Beanies came from, grab the Angel Charm and
drop through the hole in the floor. Flip the lever and listen to the clock's
bell chime. You just unlocked that door behind the wall you smashed earlier.
Grapple out of this area and descend the ladder into the huge pit in the center
of the main room. Step onto the platform, kill the Gasbags and work your way to
the lever. Flip the lever to gain access to some new corners of the tent. Grab
the goods, kill the baddies, and climb back up the ladder.

Run up the second ramp to the top. To your left is a Ballbuster and a Spawner.
Kill them both and grab the much-needed Blood Rose. Turn and enter the corridor
on the opposite side. Forge ahead, past the Spawners and other enemies to grab
the Ticket.

Jump over the wall and high-tail it back out of this area to the clock tower
you
passed in the very beginning of the mission. Go inside and open the metal door
there (break the wall if you hadn't earlier) to find a bounty of ammo and a
Blood
Rose. Return to the main tent area, killing the Meanie Beanies on the way.

Insert the Ticket into the collection box and watch out! A half-dozen Ticklers
will attack so grab the Scourge and get scrambling. If you need to, run into
the
tent to grab a Blood Rose and then continue killing. Destroy the Fat Lady in
the
tent and head to the Looking Glass, hopefully filled with 250HP!

Nightmare Realm

Begin the Nightmare Realm by picking your Elder. I chose the Beast King on
account of the dismembering capabilities of his melee weapon, but it really is
just personal preference.

You will start the first area in a pool of blood. Remember the Health Flasks
are
there and climb out onto the floor. Take a second to get used to the disgusting
fact that you are within the body of a beast. Once you've adjusted, kill the
Ballbuster in the center of the room. Once you do, Stumps and Headless will
attack. Slaughter them all and move through the skin-colored screen. Destroy
the two Spawners here and continue on to face the Arachniclown around the
corner.

Continue up the ramp and jump onto the lift. Around the bend to the left is a
Spawner. You will surely run into several of its Stumps along the way. Take
them all out, along with the Gasbage floating around. Push the clown-faced
button to drop the next roadblock. Jump down, grab any ammo that is present and
run through to the next room.

Headless will attack after a moment or two so use the Windblade to off the Fat
Lady as fast as you can, then start slicing through the Headless. Grab the ammo
from the ledge near the Fat Lady and jump to the ledge on the right where the
Health Flask is. Take out the Strutter across the way down low and run off the
ledge into the corridor where it was. Kill any Stumps that are around, use a
Rage Orb and arm yourself with the special weapon of your Elder. Unless your
playing as the Demon, then use the Magma Cannon.

The next area has a Tickler, Strongman, two Spawners, several Stumps and
Headless
and two Ballbusters. Take out as much as you can as quick as you can and then
grab the Health in the corners of the room. Worry about the Ballbusters last as
they don't start firing until later.

In the hall on the right is a lever. Pull the lever and run like mad up the
stairs and through the opened entrance before they slam shut again. If you miss
it, just try again.

Head to the left and take out the Stumps and Gasbags around the bend. Grab the
Health and run up the stairs, killing the Tickler on the way. Around the corner
is another Spawner and more Stumps. Obliterate them and grab the ammo and
health
on the balcony. Continue on through the corridor past the Spawner and Strutters
that attack.

Even though it says "0" Secrets (nor Items for that matter), I found one. Jump
to the small ledge and from there to the platform with the Chaos Heart.

Take advantage of the power-up and jump down and lay a whooping on the Ticklers
and Spawner that guards the clown entrance. Move through the hallway to the
corner. Use the Windblade to blast the Fat Lady from afar, just beware of the
red blood that is blows out of the hall at you. It will really mess you up!
Run
through the hall and kill the Spawner at the end. You are about to enter the
Air-
like part of this mission.

Smash the windows and step through the bars onto the ledge on the left.
Bludgeon
the Headless and open the door on the left to grab some ammo. Return through
the
door and step out onto the thin bar that leads across the abyss.

Run across to the mesh platform and take aim at the Meanie Beanie that attacks.
Walk onto each of the corner bars to push the button to turn off the electric
shield.

Take a deep breathe and enter the building. A Spawner is on the right, but the
Unipsychos and Stumps will likely be your bigger concern. In the next room,
several Unipsychos and Ballbusters attack you while you fend off numerous horde
creatures at the same time.

Once you've cleared the area step out onto the pipe on the left and then ride
the
floating platform across the lava to the right. Climb the ladder and flip the
lever to drop a landing area for you across the pool of lava. Return to where
you first entered the area and take out the two Unipsychos across the pond. Run
and jump off the pipe onto the metal landing area and then head up the stairs.

Destroy the giant Jack-in-the-Box and kill the Stumps. Dive into the blood on
the left and start swimming. Dive under the ledge and head into the final Boss
encounter in the game—The Nightmare Child!

The Nightmare Child, like most other Bosses in the game, has three phases. The
first phase for him, or shall I say "it", is the Eyespawn. The walls of this
grotesque battlefield are lined with eyeballs that emit deadly discs of light at
you. When you begin, grab the Windblade and start firing while you move to the
left. Strafe around the left side of the room, out of sight of the Eyespawn on
the right. Ammo will appear occasionally, so keep an eye out for it. Once you
blast away all the eyes on the left, move gradually across the center, to the
right. Just try not to be seen by too many at once and you should get through
this part with a good amount of HP still in tact.

Once the last Eyespawn is destroyed, The Nightmare Child hatches from its egg.
It's tail sends sparks of power at you which can be avoided by moving away and
then towards it at the last moment. Keep firing at the Child with the Windblade
or your Elder's special weapon. Keep your distance and watch for his charge.
If
he hits you with his tail, you won't be long for this world.

When you start to run low on HP, head for the blue static panels on the right
side of the area. You will fall through "space" trying to pick up Health Flasks
on the way down. This also acts as a decent teleporter if you are cornered and
need a quick getaway.

From beyond the grave, the Nightmare Child means to drag you with it into the
downward spiral of doom that already shackles it! Have you the strength left to
face the fury of retaliation?

The final phase of The Nightmare Child is in the form a crab. It is very
similar
to the second phase, except he doesn't hover nor does he have a tail to swing.
Keep blasting him with the Windblade, Magma Cannon, and special weapon if you
can. Continue to dodge the sparks he throws at you by never standing still and
using the teleporter over and over. If he gets near, he will bite and claw you
to death, so don't let him.

By chance, if you dash to one side of the room and stand on the ramped part, he
will get stuck on the other side of the egg. You can blast him in near perfect
safety this way. When you finally kill his third form, the game is over.

And so the last breath of the storm has passed, the shadows stir no more. The
Damocles Sword has fallen, nut by way of your courage it has missed its sleeping
target. On this eve, the unknowing masses of our world owe you their souls'
salvation. The web of terror spun by the Nightmare King is now but a faded
shadow under the fresh break of day. I take my leave now. Weariness lays heavy
on my brow. The carnival of souls must mend itself, for the road goes ever on.
In time, our wounds will heal and become old scars that may spin fables around
the campfire. Avatars! The elements honor your services with undying gratitude
and name you as true Soul Wardens! Wake now from this dark slumber! The world
may dream again, for in truth, this nightmare is at an end!
