General tips:

This game will run very slowly if your disk is fragmented, so it
would be a good idea to optimize it. Remember that if you cease
playing and then mess about with other programs, you'll have to
optimize your disk again; so, if you are foolhardy enough to play
this game at all, I recommend to do it at a sitting. It can be done.

So get yourself a packet of tranquilizers and prepare for a
challenge. In order to get anywhere in this game, you must learn
the motions. Try and get used to using the function keys F6 and F8
to toggle between the boot and the hand icons, since at times you
have to act so fast, you don't have the leisure to use the mouse.

Always get close to the item you want to see before you use the eye
icon on it. Once you have the thing in the fore of the screen you
can use the hand icon to do whatever. If you need to use another
item, click on it first, and then click on wherever you want to use
it.

To manoeuvre the guy, remember that clicking around this shoulders
will make him move away, whereas clicking anywhere under his knees
will bring him towards you. If you find you can't move him at all,
move him a little to one side and try again.

When I say move "up" I mean bring the character towards you. When I
say move "down" I mean take the character away from you.


THE NADA BUILDING

From the start: Walk to the guy and make with the mouth icon. You
have a nice little conversation. Look around, if you wish, but go
to the rag and the spanner on the wall and get them. Walk to the
lift door and use the card in the slot.

When you are through, go all the way left, all the way up (towards
you), right and down, so that you end up facing left. Look at the
seat and pick up the coin. Find your way to the video machine on
the far wall and look at it. Put your card in. Dock check coming
up. You are told to go downstairs. Get your card, go to the lift
to the left, go in and use your card again. Choose level F.
Collect your card.

When you come out, go up and right. Use your card to enter the
loo. Go up to the dispensing machine, look at it and use the coin.
You get a condom. You can also wash your hands and pick up a pair
of gloves. Leave.

Go back to the lifts and this time go right. You are in the
secretary's office. Go down to the left and then right to get
around the desk. Select the eye icon and click precisely on the two
white pixels to the left of the fax machine. You get to see the top
of the table. Pick up the CD and make a note of the colour sequence
on the label beneath. Exit from this panel. A fax will come
through - again, use the eye icon on the few white pixels showing to
the right of the fax machine, look at the paper and take it.

At this point the secretary comes out and has a word with you. Go
left and take the lift to the lobby. As you come out you meet with
Dr. Molotov. Have a word with him, then take the lift to the right
to get to the garage. There you will be met and taken to your place.

YOUR OFFICE

As you come out, go to the intercom to the right and use it. You
automatically go and sit down. A guy comes up the lift and sits on
the other chair. Talk to him. When he leaves, go up and then left
through the door. By this door you'll find a holograph - use it and
get your message. Leave.

Now go to your desk, look at the package, open it and retrieve what
is in it. Walk around the desk and look at the console. View both
CDs by putting them in the business box, clicking on them and then
on the slot. When you have finished, go to the lift, press the
button to the left and it will come up. Enter it and you will
automatically end up at the warehouse.

THE WAREHOUSE

Right. This is tricky. First, press the second set of buttons from
the left to open the door, then pick up the label you will see on
the barrel on the foreground. Now go right, look and the switches
on the wall and select EMPTY. You see a barrel travelling left. Go
after it. Stick the label on it and press the green button you can
just see in the foreground, to the right.

Go after the barrel once more and look at it. Open the top and use
the walk icon to enter it. You will be taken back into NADA.

THE VAULT

When you come out of the barrel, go to the other side of the boxes
and get the one on the top. Look at it, open it and get the hat.
Now go near the totem pole and get the bungee string. Open the door
to the right by pressing the buttons. Walk right through this room
and open the other door. Enter cautiously and have a look, but
don't touch anything and come back to the middle room.

Look at the little box to the right of the big contraption. Equip
the spanner and click on it and then on the panel. It will open.
Now you must press the coloured buttons in the right sequence: Red,
Blue, Green, Yellow, Blue, Yellow. When the thing opens up, don't
go in just yet. Go to the electric cabinet and look at it. Click
on the dot under the exclamation mark to uncover a secret door. Go
through.
                               
Look at the tallboy and open the second drawer. Open the box and
get the cross. Go left.

Use the cross on the carving under the wall lamp. Go through.
Click on the red button, then look at the door knob. Turn it once
and this should open the door. If not, do it again until it does.
Once through, look at the crystal. Take the good one and put the
fake on in its place. Go through the door.

Walk around the desk and use the hand icon on the chair. Sitting at
it, look at the desk top, open the folder, read the papers and take
the photo. Look at the device on the right. Click on VIDEOCOM and
on MAP, but not on DOOR. When you've finished, look at the desk
lamp. Click on the red button. This opens the painting and you can
leave.

Enter the strange machine and you will be whisked off to...

NEW MEXICO

Go to the table and get the battery thingie. Note the grindstone.
Walk left and enter the machine to have a look. Go out and go
through the door to the left. Come to the coffee table and pick up
the clean pipette. Go back to the grindstone and turn it on with
the red switch to the top right. Look at it and use the pipette on
the wheel. With your sharp pipette, go back to the office.

Look at the roach cage and you will see half a card. Use the
pipette on it to retrieve it. It says hELZ. Now look into your
inventory and click on the battery and the hat. Put the hat in the
business box. Save. Go to the chair and use the hand icon on it.
Use the hand icon on the grate in the ceiling, then use the boot
icon to enter it.

Turn around by clicking on the curved arrow. Advance and take the
first turning to the right, then the first to the left, then go
right, all the way around a corner and take the first to the left.
Go right through here to the junction and turn right, go straight
ahead, around a corner, straight again, around another corner and
all the way till you come to a fan. Here, turn around. Go forward,
ignore the first grate on the floor, then use the hand icon on the
next grate. You come into an office.

As soon as the first conversation is over, you have to be quick.
Equip the device sent by Philip, advance to the woman, click on the
device then click on her. She will activate it and you will see the
message. You get a shard and a poem. Also you get taken to...

THE PUEBLO

Pick up the shard off the floor. Go to the rope and pick it up.
Down the stairs. Pick up the shard off the niche. Look at your
inventory and click on the three shards to make a whole one, then
put it in the niche. Watch what happens. Now go to the bucket and
pick it up. Click on the rope and the bucket. Use both on the
well. Save. Very carefully, pick up the end of the rope. Use it
on the first ring, on the ceiling. Now walk right and use the end
of the rope on the other ring. Put the bungee rope in the business
box and click on it and then on the end of the rope. Now put the
clip of the bungee on the ring of the trapdoor. Go to the bucket
and push it. Back to the trapdoor and use the hand icon on it.
Down.

You get to talk to the shaman. He gives you a spirit stick. When
he asks you for something, hand him the photograph. The girl talks
to you and gives you a rosette. You buzz off to...

PHILIP'S HOUSE

Go straight in. Pick up the three matches in the niche above the
fireplace. Look at the bookcase and get the tomahawk. Put the
rosette on the side of the wardrobe and get the other crystal.
Outta here. Save. Walk to the right. No need to pick up the
canteen if you don't want to. Go to your inventory and click on the
matches and on the spirit stick. Use this on the beehive and the
bees go away. Look at the hive, use the hand icon on the trays and
retrieve the other piece of card. It says BELZ. Go down a bit and
then right, and you'll come to a cave.

THE CAVE

Look at the indentation to the right of the entrance. Retrieve the
stick. You don't need the solar-powered torch any more than you
need dehydrated water. Look at your inventory, click on the rag and
on the stick, and then on the resulting torch and the match. Enter
the cave through the left opening. As soon as you are well in, the
whole thing collapses behind you. Walk right. When you come to the
dead man, pick up the card he has in his hand. Continue right.
Look at your inventory and get rid of the torch by clicking on the
rubbish bin and then on the torch.

Open the door with the card and go right, then go down to the lift.
Press the button. What! Here again?

Walk to the right. Enter the machine and put the two crystals in
the indentations. Now you know that you have to adjust the dials
in the machine, and also that helZ and BELZ are numbers, only you
are looking at them upside down. Also that you need a key. So!
Save your game. Equip the tomahawk and go through the door to the
left. An old friend will give you a hot reception. As soon as he
stops talking and makes with the gun, click on the tomahawk and on
him. Ugh! Don't waste any time. Walk towards the desk, look at it
and grab the key. Quickly right. Enter the machine.

Switch to the hand icon and click on the red arrows as follows: top
row, click two times, seven times, three times and eight times.
Bottom row, two times, seven times, three times and four times.
Make sure each dial has been done correctly. Use the key on the
padlock and pull the lever.

BACK TO THE PAST

Go left and you will come to Dr. Livingstone. You have a little
chat. As soon as he is off, go to the front door and walk to the
fish to the left. Look at it and get the key from its mouth. Walk
to the chest, look at it and use the key on the lock. Get the
orange cloth. Leave the house and come right up front. Save. Walk
near the post and use the orange cloth on it. Now use the hand icon
on the rocks around the post and retrieve some money. Move away
towards the house and look at the post. A plane appears.

The pilot speaks to you. You have to be quick. Come near him and
click on the money then on him. You are off.

THE SHOWDOWN

As soon as the pilot goes away, walk to the plane and look at the
door on the tail. Open it and grab the flares and the flare gun.
Load the gun by clicking on it and the flares in your inventory.
Now go right. Go down and right till the character disappears
behind the rock then click on the church door and you will be there.

Enter and open the door to the right. Go through. Go down the
stairs to the left and immediately down and right. People come in
and start chatting, then they all go. Save. Come out of the alcove
and look at the bookcase. Use the cross you got from the vaults on
the lock. Now look at the valve by the bookcase. Put the condom at
the end of the pipe and turn the valve. You have to be superquick
to get out of the church.

When you get to the rock, equip the flare gun before you go left to
the plane. As soon as you do, click on the gun and then on the
plane. It will take off and explode in mid-air.
