Examine each item as you get it; if you are given the option to
search it, do so. Sometimes you are given other options also, so
use them. Obviously, you will also look at promising items in each

You start at Level B5. Leave the room and walk to the right. Look
at each room to find out who it belongs to. You should meet LaPaz
here, make sure to talk to her. Nothing else interesting in this
level. You will go right around and get to the elevator. Use the
control panel to get a floor plan and go to the next floor.
In Level B4, the important think is the kitchen. Memorize where it
is. In Level B3 you will find Danny's room at CREW B. Examine the
cupboard, but you can't do much about it. Room E belongs to a
fellow called Rowland.
Level B2 is the really important floor. You should meet with Brooks
the moment you arrive. Make sure you talk to her, she will
challenge you to a volleyball game. Kauffman tends to walk around
here, too, talk to him. OK, if you go to the right you will come to
the Control Centre. Talk to Lowe and the Captain. If you go up the
stairs and to the left you will see a lift (C2) for which you don't
have a pass card.
Leave the Control Centre and continue to the right. You will come
to the Hospital, go in and talk to Dr. Chu. Out and continue to the
right. Through the next door you will meet Barnard and Rowland;
talk to them and go up through the other door to talk to Gates and
Raman. Leave the scientists and continue right. You will come to
the elevator D2, for which you don't have a pass.
Now go all the way left past the elevator. The first door will take
you "outdoors". Click on the shed door and search inside. Leave
and continue left. You'll come to Captain Clifford, guarding the
entrance to a lift. Talk to him, but he won't let you visit his lab.
Continue left and enter the Transport Pod Airlock (TPA, to you).
Have a look around and leave. Still going left, you will come to
the Generator Room. Pick up the wrench and the extinguisher. Talk
to Meyer. Go left and have a look at the Power Generator room. Out.
Now you can go to the elevator and make for Level B1. As you leave
the lift, you enter into the sports room. Ignore Brooks and go
left. Pick up the chest expander from the bike. Use the locker in
the middle, get the pass, pick up the jacket and search it. Return
the jacket to the locker (i.e., click on the locker and place the
jacket in it). Leave and go to the right. Go left to the Bar and
talk to Chandra, Ward and Waterman. OK, that's it. Now we can go
to Level B2 and go all the way right to the D2 elevator.
Again, investigate level by level. Level D3, to the right, leads to
Scout Craft. To the left of the elevator, the first room leads to
another control room, which you can ignore, and the second room
leads to the Shuttle. Click on the navigation console and place the
ID card in it. Use the console and you'll wipe out the memory.
Brooks will come in and you have a chat; talk to her. Leave and go
You step into a store room straight from the elevator. Pick up the
welder and the inventory list. Go up through the door. This is the
excavation site. Keep going right and pick up the lamp and the
hammer, then go back to the door. Wait till the rat leaves the hole
and click on the hole. When invited to place something on it, use
the lamp. The rat will run around in circles, click on it and
you'll get the option of using the extinguisher to freeze it. Use
it and then get the frozen rat.
Leave and go to Level D5 and have a look. Nothing to do here at the
moment. Well, that just about covers everywhere you can go just
now. Go to D2 to get to B2.
Go to Rowland and have a word with him. He asks you to do something
for him. Go to B4 and to the kitchen. Spot the pie in the larder
(it's important that you actually click on it with the right
button). Talk to Chandra and he will offer to make you a dish.
Leave and go to B1. At the sports room, click on the volleyball net
twice to cut it free and then pick it up. Go right and get the
crowbar on the Bar. Go back to the kitchen.
In the dinning room you will see the dish Chandra made you. Click
on it and place the rat inside. Go to the kitchen and speak to
Chandra. Leave Chandra gazing in horror at his rat korma and go to
the larder - pick up the pie.
Go to B3 E, i.e., Rowland's room, and give him the pie. He will
tell you to talk to Raman. So, back to B2 and speak to her. Not a
lot of use. Leave and find LaPaz, who is now in this floor, mostly
by the entrance to the Control Room. She should give you another
inventory list. Look at it. Speak to LaPaz again and you should
get more info. Talk to the Captain in the Control Room.
Now go back to Rowland's room and talk to him. You suggest he is
not well and he agrees to call the doctor. Make it back to the
Hospital in B2. When Dr. Chu leaves, use the medical computer. You
get some interesting info. Leave and find LaPaz once more. Talk to
her and this time, when you ask for Danny's items, she will give you
Go to Danny's room in B3 B. Click on the cupboard and use the key.
Get the tray inside and search it. Search the letters twice; you
should get a clip and a photo. Watch.
Get the telescope and dismantle it twice. Click on the grille and
unscrew it with the lens. Dismantle the grille. Click on the vent
and place the bar (telescope) in it. Now search the rations and
place the biscuit (food) on the vent. The door should open. As you
head for the elevator you'll meet Gates and hold a conversation with
him. When you part, go to D2 and through to B2.
Make for the TPA and go inside. Examine the cocoons and watch.
Ugh! You automatically leg it to the Generator Room, and who can
blame you. Get to the power generator and use the control panel.
Cut the cable to the right of it, then use the control panel again.
Leave the room and talk to the creature in the Generator Room. It
will follow it and will be stunned by the cable. Click on the fuel
tanks and use the wrench. You leave rather hurriedly and there is
an explosion. Meyer arrives and you have a chat with him before
leaving the Generator Room.
As you pass the TPA, Rowland decides he's had enough of this game
and he is leaving. He goes into the TPA and it locks behind him.
Quick, we've got to stop him, even if we don't know why.
Go to the Control Centre and to the C2 elevator. Click on the
control panel and use the crowbar. Click on the control panel again
and use the chest expander. Click on the control panel once more
and use the lens to magnify. Then click on the clip and use the
hammer on it. Finally, click on the control panel yet again and use
the strait clip on it. Now you can use the panel to go to the next
Click on the console to look at it and then use it, or rather the
laser gun, on the unfortunate Rowland. At this point the Captain
comes in. Watch. When all the excitement is over, click on the
storage locker, use the crowbar on it and search it twice to get two
Go to the Shuttle (D3, left). Use the locker to get the part you
need. As you leave the room, LaPaz meets you. Watch. At this
rate, we are going to run out of characters. Click on each door to
use the welder, as LaPaz asks. Remember where Brooks is left laying
on the floor: B3 F.
Go to the Scout Craft, D3 and right, and talk to Meyer. Watch.
Go to the lab, i.e., B2, where Captain Clifford was guarding the
corridor to the lift. Trying not to step on the corpses, go down
with the elevator to the next level, enter the lab, talk to the
dying woman and then pick up the fluid. The other guys join you and
decide what to do next.
Back to Brooks, B3 F, and search her to get the circuit. Take it to
the Shuttle, D3 and left, and give it to Meyer. Go to the Control
Room. Here, you talk to Lowe and LaPaz and you decide to go hunting.
Leave and go left to the door which leads "outdoors", the first door
past the elevator's corridor. The others will follow you. Keep going
left through all the exits till you come to Waterman being rather
revolting. Leave the way you came and, as you come out of the first
exit, click on it and place the net on it. Talk to LaPaz. Watch.
Click on Waterman and place the fluid on him. End of Waterman.
Go to the Shuttle room. Have a chat. Go to the Control Room and
use the self destruct button by the stairs (you have to click twice
on it). Back to the Shuttle room. Dash it, it didn't work. Back
to the Control Room, use the self destruct button again and this
time place the mine on it. Watch.
Well, that's all folks. I hope you are all still there and weren't
chewed up by one of those horrible creatures!
