CD 1 Slim's Hideout When you begin, turn left 90 degrees and run past the house on your left. Keep going in a straight line past the pinkish barn to the right until you run into the wall. Go around the corner and enter the barn through the main entrance or the two doors. Clear out the guys in the barn, then find the ramp and the locked door to its left. You'll have to come back to this door later when you have the iron key. For now, head up the ramp (there's a guy waiting for you at the top), and go through the door that's on your right after you turn around. Shoot the three guys, grab the steel key behind the bundles of straw and head out of the barn the way you came in. Turn right when you get out of the barn and go around the corner. See the house ahead? Go there. Be careful when you go in - there are lots of guys inside. Go up the stairway, which is across from the door where you entered, and enter the bedroom on the right. Once you clear the room, grab the iron key and oil on the shelf. Exit the house the same way you went in. Go back to the barn and go through the previously locked door. Once you get in, eliminate all threats and go down the hole in the floor. Work your way down the hall, crouch to get under the stairway, and shoot the guys in the room you've just entered. If you are low on health, there is a room with usually three guys, a sheriff badge, and a bottle of elixir in the far right corner of the area. To find it, go to the foot of the stairway, turn to face the room, and follow the right-side wall until you come to the doorway in the corner. Otherwise, go up the stairs and through the door shooting. You are now in the second house. Clear out the area and locate the stairway on the opposite side of the house. Go through the first door on the left (guys inside), and then through the other door to your right (bedroom with enemies inside). Get the brass key on the shelf. Exit through the unopened door back into the hallway. Go through the door at the end of the hall and clear out the guys inside. Find the dark door in the adjacent room and go in. There's ammo in the cabinets in front of you. You should save your game here even if you have the invulnerability cheat on, because this boss can kill you in one blast, whether you are invulnerable or not. He is in the far corner of the room, behind the boxes. Your best bet is to open the door, take a quick look at where he is, then strafe out behind the doorway. Then, using your fully-loaded rifle, strafe back in and hold down the fire button. Don't stop firing until he's down or you're out of ammo. It shouldn't take more than 5 hits to take him down.
Sanctuary There really is no set order of operation for this mission. All you need to know is where the keys and tools are, then you can explore the town by yourself. If you run into Sanchez before you finish the walkthrough, go down to the Sanchez paragraph below. The following is just a walkthrough of where things are in the town.
When you start, go through the entrance and turn right immediately. Go down the alley between the saloon to the left and the wall to the right. There are usually 2 or 3 guys back there. Look for the crowbar on the ground. If it's not there, don't worry. It is placed randomly in any of 3 locations. You can go up the stairs and into the rooms, but there are lots of guys waiting for you, as well as lots of ammo boxes. There is a small room in the saloon with several canteens - come here to replenish your health if you run low.
*TIP* The town wall is short enough for you to superjump over (shift + jump key) in case you're in a tight spot and need a breather from enemy gunfire.
From the saloon, go next door to the little telegraph office and go around to the back. Crouch at the low opening in the wall and push the space bar to push the box out of the way. Go in, shoot the guy inside, and crouch to get the steel key under the table and the rifle scope on the window desk. Then go into the hotel in the town center. Be careful of the civilians running around. This is the second place for the crowbar, which would be among the pots in the kitchen area. See the black stove near the pots? The iron key is up on the ledge of the wall in the corner behind the stove. Go upstairs if you want to kill people.
*TIP* Dynamite is a very effective way to clear out rooms. Just light a stick, open the door, chuck the stick in, and run like crazy. You get more dynamite in the later parts of this walkthrough.
Next, go find the church and the stables which are across from each other in the right wing of the town. Go into the church (three guys inside), grab the ammo among the benches and get the shotgun behind the pulpit. The stables have powerups behind most of the stall doors. In the stables, open the stall in the far left corner, go up the stairs, shoot the two guys if you haven't already, and grab the shovel on the floor. If you're really daring, try to do a running superjump onto the roof with the ammo, elixir, and sheriff badge on it. If that's too hard, just walk up to the wall next to the roof, and use the wall as a stepping stool. Next, visit the sheriff's station and get the pistols, then go to the jail. Don't shoot the prisoners! Don't forget about the enemy inside the jail cell to your left. Get the dynamite and knife on the shelf. Don't release the prisoners unless you feel compelled to for some strange reason - they only get in your way. See the well/waterhole ahead? That's a secret area, well worth going into. Just jump inside and explore, but look out for the tarantulas. You will find in a cave lots of dynamite, elixir, and a heavy boiler plate which is your Old West-style bulletproof vest (it only protects your front for a few shots). Next, go to the bank and find the dark spot of dirt on the side of the building. Use the shovel to dig down. You'll find yourself in the vault. Open the door and shoot the (usually) two guys running around near the front, then go to the door (not the front door) to get the two guys inside the teller windows. There's a decent amount of ammo in there. Grab the brass key in the front. Now you have the essentials in this mission.
Sanchez: This guy is quite a character. He shoots fast and moves fast, so be careful. He appears only after you do certain things in the level. Once again, I recommend that you use a fully loaded rifle and hold down the fire button. All these bosses need a certain amount of time to recover after being hit, and the rifle offers a decent firing rate with a good ammo supply. If you're really good, use your pistol on secondary fire mode - it shouldn't take more than one magazine to get him, if you're a good shot. Another way you might try is to back WAY OFF, I mean WAY OFF, and use the rifle scope to pick him off from a distance where his pistols are too inaccurate to hit you often. This takes more ammo and patience, but is probably the safest.
Oh yeah, the crowbar can also be found in the area where you have to use it, and is used to open the stuck door.
There are lots of buildings and areas to explore in this level, I've only touched on the basics. So explore, have fun with this level, and try different things and different doors.
Train This is a pretty easy level, except it may run a little bit slower than other levels (on slower computers). The key to this level are the different keys. This is just a straight-out level. When I mention 1st car, or 4th left door, I mean when you first enter the boxcar, you're in the 1st car. At the end of each paragraph there will be a listing of all the key doors in a boxcar.
To start off, after killing off the guys, go to the 3rd door on the left, where there is a shotgun. Next, go to the 4th door on the left, where there is the iron key and a guy. Not much here. Time to move on. 1st right - iron key needed. 2nd right - iron key needed. 2nd left - steel key needed (inside are 3 medical bags and 3 canteens).
In the 2nd car, there isn't much to do except on the 4th right door to acquire the steel key. If you want, go back to the first car, 2nd left and refill your life. 2nd left - iron key. 4th right - iron key (steel inside). 4th left - brass key (crowbar inside).
After the 2nd car, you will encounter a flat bed with a couple of guys, nothing else. Just don't walk off the edge, or you'll die (unless you cheat).
In the 3rd car is nothing but guys. No doors, just racks.
In the 4th car, most of the doors have guys in them. This is the beginning of an increase of guys, as you advance down the boxcars. I advise you not to enter any of the doors, unless it's necessary. The 2nd right door has an elixir bottle, just in case. 1st right - steel. 4th left - steel. 4th right - brass (inside are medical bags and an elixir).
In the 5th car, there is a bunch of guys and an elixir at the end for your hard work. Blow them away. When you exit, you will enter the 2nd flat bed. I advise you to stand where you are and kill the guys. DON'T MOVE FORWARD. There will be guys on top of the 5th car, just waiting to get you. There will be a guy on the far end, so use your rifle. Once you're ready and healed up, turn around, adjust your mouse to have the crosshairs point up, and walk backwards. Get ready to use your rifle on these guys. Once that's done, get the sheriff's badge and if you want, get the medical bags on top of the 5th car.
In the 6th car you will find many guys in doors, sometimes 3 to a room (aren't they claustrophobic?). The 3rd left door requires the steel key, but you'll get the brass key. Go back to the 2nd car, where in the 4th left door is the crowbar. Use the crowbar at the end door of the 6th car. Get out your most powerful gun ready to fight the boss. 1st right - steel key, ammo present. 3rd right - steel key. If you have it, a sawed-off shotgun would be good, since the ensuing fight will be in close quarters. If not, you can use a knife. Although I haven't tried, you can maybe light a stick of dynamite, open the door, throw the dynamite, and close the door. It's risky, but it might work.
This is the last car. Once you open the door, the boss, who takes the form of a conductor, shoots at you. He carries a mean pistol, so be careful. If you have a sawed-off, use it. Make sure you duck down. If you have a knife, duck and stab. He can take several hits. The 1st left door has a light boiler plate. The 3rd right has 2 civilians, if you want to kill them. On the 4th right, there is ammo. On the 4th left, there is a medical bag, just like the 5th left door. Open the end door and watch the nice cut scene.
River Basin This is one of the most hated levels, second only to the next one. When you start off, turn around until you face the valley. Go forward and look down; you'll find a ramp going down. Ignore the left side and go down the ramps. If you fall, there are canteens for you. Walk forward and kill the guys until you reach the river. Take the right path going up and stay close to the wall. Using your rifle scope, pick off any people, including on the land bridge. Once on top, cross the bridge and take the path going toward the water.
Once in the water, swim onto an island. You might want to save it here, where there is lots of coordination required. Go onto the first 2 islands. Jump to the 3rd island and then jump into the ledge in the canyon wall. Jump to the 4th island, then pick off the guys on the other island. Jump to the 5th island, where there is a sheriff's badge. Crouch and circle the island and eliminate all opposition. After that is done, jump toward the ledge by the top of the waterfall. Save your game, then run and jump into the tunnel. The current is fast here, so be careful. Once on land, go up the stairs, where you'll encounter a bridge. The wind should be roaring pretty loudly here. Walk across it and enter the room. On the bottom of the room are a couple of guys, and a sheriff's badge on the right side. Ascend either one of the ramps.
You'll soon be on a little bridge. An elixir and guy are on the right side of the bridge. Jump off toward the right and go into tunnel (if you're cheating, just walk forward and jump off). Go forward, then left, and soon you'll be in an open space with lots of rocks on the ground. Keep following the path, where you'll encounter a sign declaring "Dead Man's Leap." Save your game, then walk carefully onto the edge of the bridge. With a running start, jump toward the waterfall, intending to land inside the pool of water.
Once inside the pool, turn around and enter the water tunnel. Keep going, although there are currents in the water. Once you're able to, surface and get the elixir if you need it. Back inside the water, swim inside the other tunnel. Once out of it, surface, and go on the land, up a series of jumps. Keep walking until you are looking across the chasm, with the wind blowing. Face the opening on the other side and just walk across (the wind will carry you over!). Go in the tunnel, then onto the bridge. You might want to save you game here or a little bit later. Crouch, and slowly and carefully walk across the bridge until you encounter a hole on the right side of the bridge. If you haven't already, save your game. Walk on the little strip of land about half the way there. DON'T CONTINUE WALKING; YOU'LL DIE! About halfway there, jump across the rest of the hole and walk forward. Make sure you don't get too close to the edge, or the wind will blow you off. Continue doing this until you're done with the bridge.
Save your game here. This is the last part. There will be lots of guys in this room. Get your favorite gun and, if you're hurt, walk toward the left. There will be an elixir waiting for you. Once you pass the crescent-shaped rock, you might consider saving your game. After you do, walk forward about 10 paces until you encounter a civilian. This guy isn't a civilian at all, he's the boss. He carries 2 pistols. He fires about 5 rounds at you, turns around, then fires again. You might want to have him chasing you around the rocks and ambush him with dynamite or something. 5 pistol shots kills him.
CD 2 Saw Mill Welcome to the hardest level of them all. HAHAHAHAHA. This is a very bare bones explanation, not very detailed and not showing where the people are. The instructions may be a bit vague, but after some experimentation, you'll find your way out.
When you start off, turn right to enter the door. Kill the guys and enter through the other door and get the brass key. Exit, and go around the house. Enter the shack to go to what I call the "lobby." From the lobby, enter the right door, enter through the first right door. You're in what I call the kitchen. Go straight, turn right, and enter the "storage room" and get the steel key. Go back to the lobby. From the lobby, enter the other walkway. Enter the first door on the right and press the button. Then enter the first left door and press the red button. On the second right door is a medical bag.
Go straight down the hallway and turn left, turn right and go into the walkway where you can see some water. You are now at A. Turn right, and keep going forward as much as possible, then turn left, go up the stairs, go on a platform, go straight, and turn the wheel (secret area). Go back to A, turn left, go down a set of stairs, up another set of stairs. Turn left, go forward, and then left to turn another wheel. Go back to the top of the stairs, and climb stairs opposite of the original stairs. Ascend the ramp, get off in between the two "rivers," then turn the wheel. Go on the other ramp and get the iron key. Go back down the 2 flights of stairs, up the other. Go back to A, then go away from the river. Open the iron key door and push the button. Enter the elevator. Once you get out, go forward. Turn the wheel, back up the ramp and face the wheel. Go to the left river, and walk against the current. Once in another room, enter the other river. This time, go with the flow. Save your game and jump into the pool.
Look at the around. Enter the tunnel higher off the ground (this is underwater). Take out your pistol. This is the hard part. I can't help you here, for you can mess up the ways to do it. This is very frustrating, so if you want to, use the cheat "olairhead" to alleviate the problem. What you're supposed to do is shoot at a bunch of locks to change the water flow. At the end, there will be a gear. You're supposed to get 3 gears. There is a route that has a ledge on it. Stand on the ledge, get out your rifle, and shoot the lock. Run through the lock, or else you'll have to do it again. Once you have them, enter the pool room and enter the other tunnel. Use the gears on the gear room, and go back to the pool room. Go through another tunnel; this time it's higher than the other two.
Go through it, and eventually exit through the left side. Climb the boxes to go inside a vent. Go up and press a button. Exit through the new door and turn right. Enter a new door on the left of a hallway on the right. Once in the room, turn left and walk forward. Crouch and enter a new room. Push the button, climb the stairs, and enter the water. Once at a dead end, press the space bar to open the door and continue. You'll be in the pool room. There will be a new room above the water level. Enter it, and continue on the water. When you can, jump over the railing on the left side. Open the door and turn the last wheel. Save your game. Go in the river, where it'll take you to a big room with lots of water. Jump underneath the solo big "Danger" sign on one side, and swim.
Once you exit, you'll see the boss. He's well-dressed and carries a rifle. He fires about 3 to 4 rounds, then reloads, then fires again. What I suggest you do is hide behind the tall boxes on the left side of the river. Get out a shotgun, pistol, or rifle. Jump and fire a couple of rounds. He won't be able to react fast enough, so keep repeating. Another strategy is to walk underneath the platform he's on, and walk out and fire, and then walk back. He's pretty strong - I used 3 pistol shots, 3 rifle, and 2 double barreled shotgun shots to kill him. I guess you can use dynamite. [Back out from under the platform he is on until you can just see the top of his head. Next, get out your rifle with scope, squeeze off 4 quick shots and he is a goner. No damage taken at all. -Chris Shigley] If you're invulnerable (cheat olimyella), you can try to run into the saw blade, it won't do anything. Watch the ending - it's pretty mean, though not graphic.
Simms There are two parts to this level: the fort, and the underground part. The fort is much, much easier: it's lit. The main gun to use is the rifle w/ the scope. Once you start off, you can walk around the perimeter of the compound, picking off any guys you see. Enter the compound by picking off the blue guy with the powerful shotgun. Look around and kill any guys in your vicinity. Once that's done, kill anybody you can see with your rifle scope. You won't regret this; it'll be better in the long run. Most of the guys are in windows, ledges, and the guard posts.
A shotgun is in the building in front of the entrance. Go on the right side of the building and advance forward until you hit the wall. Turn left and enter the tunnel. Continue forward and get the iron key in the "courtyard." Open the door in front of you and to the right. Ascend the flight of stairs, then turn right to go on the ledge. Continue on the ledge until you see two doors: one in front of you and one to your right. Go to the one on the right and enter the door frame and kill the guys. Get your reward, the steel key.
Go back toward the stairs, but continue forward. Get the sawed-off onto the left and the dynamite up ahead. Go back to the stairs and take the last route. This route is a ledge right by the building's wall. Now you'll see why picking off opponents was good: you'll see many dead guys through the window. Enter the door at the end of the ledge. There will be a couple of guys behind some boxes, but they're not that hard. Go through the other door and onto more ledges. Open the door, and go through the door frame. Continue until you get the brass key.
Go back to the opened door, and jump on the box with the medical bag on it. Exit the room. Turn right, go forward, and then turn left. Open the door and kill all guys. Right before jumping down into the hole, SAVE the game. I suggest that you turn up the contrast and brightness on your monitor so you can see in the dark.
Part II begins here. There will be many guys around you, so be careful and duck. There will be various "buildings" with a few guys in them, but valuable health powerups. Find the plank and cross it. Once across, turn right. Descend the series of ledges and round the corner to find a "jail." Kill all the guys you're able to right now. Enter the right jail to get the crowbar right by the "experts only" sign. Use the crowbar on the door right by the sign and kill all guys. Crouch down and walk forward. Go across the plank. Jump off, swim down and toward the left. Enter the tunnel, swim to the right, then left. Surface, where you'll be at a camp. Kill off the guys and spiders. Save your game.
Go up the ramp and turn left. Go to the danger sign. Open it and kill the guy. Try to jump into the water. Surface and get the sheriff's badge. Cross the water by going on the floating boxes. Go into the house. What I'd do is throw dynamite into the hole. While you're waiting, kill off all guys around you. Once the dynamite has blown, jump into the hole. Go on the path. If you're low on health, jump to the left and up a series of ledges to get an elixir and some oil. Go back on the path and continue forward. Go in the door and turn right. SAVE your game.
Simms is just off to the left. I have prepared 3 methods of killing him:
Select your fist. Crouch, go in the room, and run toward the boxes. Still crouching, go between the boxes and punch him once. That should do it. It's all in the timing. Get out your strongest gun. Crouch and run toward the boxes. Pop up and shoot him. Do this until he's dead. Get out your knives. Crouch and run toward the boxes. Either pop up and throw/stab him, or gun between the boxes and stab. If you get the point, I'm emphasizing to crouch and run toward the boxes. The boxes are there for you. They serve two main purposes: to prevent Simms from getting out, and to provide you some cover. If you don't like these strategies, just remember my advice.
Mines Ever noticed that there are basically two types of levels: killing and puzzle levels? Well, this is a puzzle level, in my opinion. There are lots of useless areas, just made for you to die. To start off, go on the path and kill the guys on the bridge. Walk over the bridge and into the mines. At the far side of the room, descend the ramp and push the button. This is the call button for the elevator. Enter the elevator when possible. In the elevator, push the button to descend.
Once in the elevator, face the elevator then turn 90 degrees to your left. The door will open there. Once it opens, kill off the guys. Don't stay in the elevator; it'll go back up. For health, go forward underneath the tracks. Go to the near left corner of the room and enter the path. At the fork, take the left route. You're in a room with 2 rails. Ignore it and walk into a new room. There is an elixir in the corner. Go down, then up a slope. You should be in a new room. Turn left to a tunnel and go on the track. On the right there is a sheriff's badge and elixir. You want to go left and into the room. In the room, turn left and go on the bridge and into the tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, get the steel key.
Go back across the bridge and down the stairs located in the corner. Go through the door then turn right. Go under the wooden ceiling. Open the metal door and enter the tunnel. Go to the shore of the "lake" but turn around. Walk slowly back until you see a new door on the right of the path. Enter it. Once you're in it, you'll notice you fell down a foot or so. Walk forward until you fall down another foot (you'll know because you need to crouch to enter). Turn around and enter the door on the right. You should SAVE your game here.
Go down and enter the new room. "Bloody" Mary Nash is here. Keep running around her and her henchmen. A shotgun disorients her temporarily, so hit her, she'll turn around, fire another round, then run. You also should hide behind the wooden posts and fire. Collect the brass key when she's dead. Go up the ramp a little way forward, and open the door. Get on the track and turn left. Soon, you're in a room with orange "lava," which I think is probably iron ore. Ignore it and walk forward. Once you're off the track, turn right, down the ledge, and turn left. Enter the metal room (metal walls). Go forward to the door in the wall. Once you're out, go to the far left corner (you're at the near right corner). At the corner, open the metal door on the left side. Enter it. At the right side, there is an elixir. Go left and up the stairs. You're now on a metal ledge.
Turn left when you're able to do so. You'll be in a room with 2 boxes. Jump on the one nearest to you and jump on the ledge protruding out of the stone wall. On the ledge, walk forward until you're able to jump on the wood plank across of you to the right. Once on the plank, walk until you're able to go on the perpendicular plank below you. Go on that plank. Once on that plank, walk until you see more tracks. Jump off the plank on any side of the plank, but go left.
Keep walking on the tracks, up a slope, then down a slope. Eventually, you'll be in the room with the elevator. Look right. There is another track. Walk on the current track until you're able to jump on the other track. SAVE your game here. Jump on it. Walk on this track until you see a processing plant. Ignore the door on the left and keep walking on the track until it stops. Jump on the conveyor belts. Keep riding on it until you see a set of "crunchers." Jump off to the left side and go down the stairs. You're in a room now. Enter the ramp on the other side of the room. You should be on a path with lava off to the left. Keep walking into the tunnel. At the first fork, take the left route, then right route, then right route. SAVE now.
This room now has Dr. Death. Kill off the guys and hide behind boxes. Dr. Death is also hiding behind boxes. You should see a set of boxes on a lower level (its floor is covered with dirt). There is a particular set with one box on top of two others. Go behind this set. Take out your strongest, close combat gun. Aim slightly up, turn a little to the right, and then strafe (use the ALT key) off to the right, fire one round, then strafe back. This is the easiest method; it takes him by surprise. Or if you want to, hide behind the boxes. Crouch, take out your knife, go around to meet him, then stab.
Once that ordeal is over, watch the long and cool cut scene. You deserve it!
Cliffs This is a pretty tricky level. I believe the randomness factor has a big part in this, but I'm not entirely sure. What do I mean? I mean that on the puzzles your combinations might be different than what mine were. I will give my combinations just in case it isn't random. What's assured to be random is the location of Chief Two-Feathers. He'll appear anywhere near the end. I WILL NOT inform you where the opponents are; there are just too many to write down the locations. If there is a spot where the enemies are hard, I'll note it. [I want to bring to your attention that in the cliffs section there are clues to how to set the "hammers." If you look by the dam in the river there is a painting on the wall that tells you how to position them. There are also other paintings around the hammers that will show you how to set them; you just have to look for them. - S23434@aol.com]
In the beginning, walk down the path and eliminate all opposition. Jump across the river to land on the other bank. Turn immediately around to pick off guys on the ledge on the right side. Go into the river when land travel becomes unavailable. Exit the river on the right side. Go right and forward until you see a house. Enter this house. Once you enter, you should notice a puzzle thing with three hammers on it. My combination was: first down, second up, and third up. If this doesn't work, try this systematic method: set all of the hammers to the down position. Move the last hammer up until nothing happens, then set it back down. Move to the second hammer, move it up a notch, then try moving the last one. Keep on repeating. Although it's slow, you should never miss a combo.
Once you open the door, enter it, then follow the tunnel. On the balcony, turn left and into another tunnel. You'll see another house, go in it, get the stone key in the corner. Go through the door, and up the tunnel. Once you're out, you'll see a pit.
From now on, I'll make a list. This applies only to intersections.
Go left, forward, left, left, forward, go to the pit, and get the stone key. Take the left door, forward, left, left, get the stone key. Exit, left, left, right, left, forward, go to the pit, get the key, and exit the left door. Go left, left, left. Be careful: there will be two guys with sawed-offs waiting around the corner. Duck and get out your best gun or dynamite. This is the last pit. Get the key, and exit the left side and go back into the river.
Once in the river, exit to the left side instead of the right. Go inside the door, where there are three boxes. Again, this may be a random puzzle. This is my combination: first box: heart (or dino track), second: rain, third: sprouting plant. I don't think you need the other two stone keys, but don't drop them. Once that's done, jump under the bridge and go in the house and down the hole. Exit the pool with no guys and with the side that's entirely flat. Go to the pit and pick up the round stone key. Go to the other side of the pool, and into the door/house. There are two options: A) Go right past the boxes, crouch, throw TNT at the cracked wall, and go in tunnels. It's a secret area, but I think you need the other keys. B) Go left, up the stairs, do another hammer puzzle. I got: all three are down (strange).
Once you're done, go inside the pool, where it'll lead you back to the river. Again, exit to the left side. Enter the same door and pass the puzzle. This time, walk to the hole by the bridge and use the round stone key on it. It'll lower the bridge. Save the game.
Go across the bridge, up the 4 flights of stairs. Two-Feathers may appear anywhere here, so save your game often!! On the cliffs (for those who've been to Mesa Verde National Park, you'll know what I mean), kill off all guys anywhere, especially the ones in the windows. Turn right and pick off the guys on the roof. Continue until you reach the end of the cliffs and round the stone. Enter the door and turn right. Inside the room, on the left, crouch to get some stuff. Continue forward, forward, and get the elixir. You should save the game.
Go into the room, where there is a ramp on the left. Go up it. Walk forward in the new room until you see a door on the right. Turn left and crouch to get to a secret area. There might be guys in there. Exit and go through the door. Especially now Two-Feathers might appear. Go through the door, and save your game. Go up the platform, and turn left. He should appear at any time now. If for some reason he doesn't appear, explore the upper and lower areas. If he still doesn't appear for some reason, just type in "olappear" to make him appear and kick his butt. He throws knives, so don't get too close. It's a good thing LucasArts tuned down his AI; he can't throw the knives too well. Get a good distance from him, and take out a good range gun, such as the rifle. It doesn't take that many hits. On the ugly level, I killed him with 2 double-barreled shotgun blasts.
Bob Graham's Ranch Finally, the last level. This is one that I really enjoy. It feels realistic and not that nerve-wracking such as the previous ones, like the mines and saw mill. The bedrooms and kitchens are nicely done. This is probably my favorite level on the second CD. Although this level may seem nice, it still is a challenging one. There are many puzzles that took me at least an hour to figure out. But once you beat the level, you will feel pretty happy and disappointed.
From the cut scene, you learn that they took all your weapons. All you have are fists. What you do in the beginning is hop on the box to get out of the shack. The first guy that shoots at you has a knife. Kill him and get the knife. Use the knife until you get guns and ammo. Go to the back of the barn and go up the ramp to get on the second story. You'll see two doors, one in front of you and another on the right. Walk to the one on the right. Kill the guy in the room full of boxes. Collect the iron key from his dead body.
Go back downstairs. Look for a wooden door with a "Z" on it and open it. Get the crowbar inside and leave the building. Go to the next building and enter through the big single door, not the small one on the side of the wall. To open the door, use the crowbar on it. Walk until you're able to see the slanted ceiling. Turn left and open the door. Go up the ramp and into the room. Go around the room where you'll see a box hanging by a rope. Shoot the rope a couple of times until it breaks and the box falls. Go out of the building and walk around until you find a small door. Open it and you should see the hole the falling box made. Jump into the hole and keep walking until you get to the end. Open the door. You should be in a fireplace now.
Go to the right side of the fireplace. You're in a kitchen now. Go to the corner between the fireplace and the eating table. There is a set of stairs going upstairs. Use the stairs. You'll now encounter two doors, one on the right, and another in front of you (you can't see it yet; it's blocked by the thing in front of you). Choose the front door. Once through this door, you'll again see two doors, front and right. Again, take the one in front of you. Past this second door, you'll see only one door. Go through it, where you'll be in a room full of boxes. Go to the far right corner to get the steel key. Exit the building and proceed to Bob Graham's ranch.
Open the big gate. Instead of going through the front door, walk to the back of the house. Go to the "patio" and walk to the 2 doors. Enter the door in front of you. You should be in a type of library. Notice the bookcase on the right of the door; memorize it. Now walk forward to open the door. Inside the hallway, turn right and ascend the stairs. Turn left and go in the second story of the library. Walk to the corner away from the stairs and away from the entrances (the corner of the house). Find and step on a protruding tile. This causes a grinding sound to be heard. This signals the moving of the bookcase that you memorized. Jump down to the bottom level and enter the bookcase. In the room, there is an unlit "fireplace." Go to it and press SPACE, to cause a bar to move. Then walk out and enter the first story library's fireplace. Drop down into the lower levels of the house. SAVE your game here.
To get the Gatling gun, go forward, right, left, right, forward, and right. In the room is the gun and a heavy broiler plate. Next, exit the room and go left, forward, forward, right, forward, right (not the door), then turn left. Buckshot Bill Morgan is here. Crouch and take out your knife. Hide behind the boxes, go around them, and stab him. Continue into the hallway and go in the dark room off to the right. There are three wooden things, one in front of you, one to the right, and one to the left. Jump on the right one, left one, forward one, right one, then the left one. SAVE your game here. This is one of the harder jumps in the game. Try to jump on the far ledge of the fireplace. It takes practice to get it right. Once you're in, kill the guys and get the brass key near the wall. Exit the door and walk leftwards to face the door. DON'T open the door. SAVE now.
This is the door to Bob Graham's room and Sarah. What I did was take out the Gatling gun, open the door, and start firing away. After you open the door, though, you have to watch a cut scene. If you don't want to use the Gatling gun, go hide behind the table and seat in the big room. He can't hit you, but you can't hit him. Take out, for instance, the double-barreled shotgun. While crouching, aim slightly down, jump up, fire, and crouch again. He's too surprised to hit you. This method takes 4-6 shots from the double-barreled. It's repetitious, but it works. Once you kill him, watch the end cut scene.
The end of the game gave me mixed feelings. I was happy the mysteries were unraveled, but I wanted more levels to play. I think LucasArts should make an add- on disk, just like the one for TIE Fighter. In my opinion, the last cut scene is a lousy one; James Anderson looks kinda funny when he's riding with Sarah when he takes out her bonnie. Like most LucasArts games, when the credits are done, you'll see some funny lists.
