You have firestorm AND trees or pillar of fire
AND trees. Plant trees, not on your own territory,
but on your enemy's. Keep doing so until the area
is a forest. Put a pillar of fire on the place.
Result: instant widespread destruction.

For quick & dirty repair, or for repair land when you
can't raise & lower it, use flowers. To recover land
lost to volcanoes, make as much level land as possible,
use flowers, and the flowered land is again usable.

If you don't have flowers, but can still raise/lower
land, level the area, then hit it with lightening/minor
disaster. The basalt dissapears, replaced by ruined land.
Raise/lower it to repair it, and voila!

Can't raise land, but can lower it? Need a bit of
extra living space, or a convenient bridge for your
final assault? Select the Earth option that places
bolders. This also creates "ridges" (raised land)
in the area. Put the ridges on the shore next to
your area. Lower the peaks, and you have an ad hoc
bridge/land mass wherewith to go and smite the enemy.

Eek! The computer has Helen of Troy, and you don't!
She's gunning for you! Put baptisimal fonts in her path,
(even if it's your own territory). Convert her to opposite
alignment. Cover up all traps in Helen's way pronto (use
flowers on enemy land if needed). Send your guys in
to possess the land that Helen liberates.

Eek! The computer has sent the Vegetable Head (plant
knight) after you! Immediately and repeatedly sprog your
settlements closest to him to make him divide himself even
more quickly. Soon you have a lot of enemy Vegetable Heads
that will soon lose a lot of fights. Use the increased
mana you get to hit the computer with heavy divine powers
(volcanoes are my favorite, since the computer does a poor
job of repairing them).

You have whirlpool, you have whirlwind. Save up for
whirlwind. Place whirwind offshore to produce multiple
whirpools that erode your foe's land.

Use whirlwind to blow the enemy's leader offshore. Keep
using whirlwind to produce multiple whirlpools to hinder
the enemy's attempts to get a leader back.

Enemy is gathering forces to build a knight? Swamp the
area around his magnet. Keep swamping, but don't take
out the leader or area under the magnet, just make
sure you can isolate the magnet in a sea of swamps. The
computer will continually send his population to their
deaths as they fall into the swamps around the magnet.

Enemy plague you? Set mode to Go to Papal Magnet. Dehouse
(raise land) the plagued people's houses (back to front, to
reduce contamination). You get a plagued leader. Turn the
leader into a plagued knight (try to avoid Vegetable Head,
if the enemy is too strong, you lose a lot of mana as your
mini-vegetable heads begin losing) and smite him. You can
also set the magnet to the enemy's house/territory until
your leader loses. This way you spread the plague to your
enemy.

Enemy hit you with an earthquake? Don't try to raise land
over the cracks, lower the cracks to sea level! Your guys/gals
can still navigate through the earthquake zone safely, (leave
"bumps") and when the earthquake ends, you can raise the land to
normal level.
