Problem:
How do I find the jar with water?

Hint:
You must  first have the  blue ball. Enter  the hole at  the far
right from where  you first came into the  adventure. Insert the
blue ball and enter the door. You will have to fight the Bogards
in order to hit the switch on  the right. Go through the hole at
the left and you will find the jar to your left.

Problem:
I need a nudge in the right direction.

Hint:
If you seem to be at a standstill in this adventure, try jumping
at the torch in the middle of the long bridge found in the scene
before  the  one  where  you  first  started the adventure. This
action will make a door appear on the level below you.

Problem:
How can I find the two crystals?

Hint:
One can be  found by entering the door below  the ledge with the
blue ball. Now go through the  first door. The next door to your
right is the  room with spikes. The crystal can  be found on the
far left wall. To get the second crystal, go through the hole at
the right,  under the ledge with  the blue ball. Hit  the switch
and enter the door under the  torch. Go through the door on your
right and you will find the crystal on the ledge.

Problem:
What do I do with the crystals?

Hint:
Do you remember  seeing the jars sitting in  holes in the walls?
Look  for the  wall with  two empty  jars sitting  next to  each
other. Starting from where you found the jar of water, enter the
nearest door. Go through the door  on your right, the first door
in the  next scene, and again,  through the door to  your right.
Place the crystals in the two jars sitting next to each other to
open the door on the right.

Problem:
How can I take the jewel from the demon?

Hint:
The  jewel in  the demon's  hands  is  the key  to solving  this
adventure. Enter the door to the  right of the two jars with the
crystals. Escape  the trap and  open the first  door. Go through
the door on the right and hit the switch. The jewel is now loose
in the demon's  hands, but you still have to  go up and take it.
To do this,  enter the door under the ledge  with the blue ball.
Go through  the third door on  the right and then  the door held
open by the blue ball. You will have to avoid a memory-loss trap
to get the jewel from the demon's hands.

Problem:
Advice from another has sought the Stolen Scepter.

Hint:
There is a  man you can meet in this  adventure who has valuable
information to help you recover  the Stolen Scepter. His name is
Goran and  he can be found  by going through the  door under the
bridge  with the  blue ball,  and then  the second  door to your
right.

Problem:
How can I earn a lot of experience points in this adventure?

Hint:
Only heroes or  fools go looking for dragons,  but if you're set
on finding  some and winning  the big experience  points, follow
this lead. Insert the jewel you  took from the demon's hands and
place it  in the hands of  the demon next to  the door closed by
"some magical power".

Problem:
How do I find the Stolen Scepter?

Hint:
To find the  Stolen Scepter, put water in the  empty jar and put
the jewel in the hands of the demon in the room with acid drops.
Now go back  to the room with the demon  who originally held the
jewel. Instead of jumping over the  small chasm to the demon, go
down  the  opening.  Open  the  chest  and  you will receive the
Scepter, a sword and herbs.

Problem:
What  treasures  besides  the  Scepter   can  be  found  in  this
adventure?

Hint:
After you  take the Scepter from  the chest, you can  also get a
sword and  some herbs. If  you go back  to the room  where Goran
spoke to you, you can receive Goran's Axe. You must retrieve the
blue ball before the axe will be there.

   2 ... The Lost Talisman

Problem:
Where is the Gold Pedestal, the Emerald Ring or the Jar of Sap?

Hint:
The Forest  God will give  you the Gold  Pedestal to aid  in the
recovery of the Lost Talisman. Enter the first door to the right
after entering  the adventure. Jump  at the tree  on top of  the
first  hill to  find the  Emerald Ring.  There is  a Jar  of Sap
through  the door  to your  left after  you've climbed  over the
first hill.

Problem:
I've lost the pedestal what do I do?

Hint:
Climb back  down the rope  and onto the  ledge to the  left. You
will  see a  set of  footprints that  lead to  a hidden door. Go
through this hidden door and then through the door at the bottom
of the next  screen. Enter the first door to  the left (you must
use  the Emerald  Ring to  open this  door) and  you will find a
meditating man. Place the Jar of Sap next to him and the barrier
around the talisman will fall.

Problem:
How  can I  locate Ria,  the guardian  of the  talisman, and  her
uncle?

Hint:
There  will  be  a  trap  that  you  must  pass to find Ria, the
guardian of the talisman. Enter the door at bottom of the second
hill, on it's left side. Now  go through the first door you come
to and then the door at the bottom of the next screen. This will
be the room with the guard. Talk to the guard and enter the door
to his left.  After escaping the room with  the falling ceiling,
go  through the  open door  at  the  left. Ria  will be  waiting
outside. Only  after Ria tells  you about her  missing uncle can
you find him behind the door at the top of the second hill.

Problem:
How do you find the bottomless swamp?

Hint:
The bottomless swamp  is the place where you  throw the talisman
after  you've  recovered  it  from  Destru.  It  can be found by
entering the door below the second  hill, on it's left side, and
then the second door of the next screen.

Problem:
Where is Destru and how can I defeat him?

Hint:
Destru is one tough cookie! He can be found by going through the
door at  the bottom of the  first hill, on it's  left side. Move
the statue's arm, being aware of  the stoned trap, and enter the
door in the center. Since Destru  is a powerful magician, he can
only be  killed with your weapons  and only when he  is in human
form (not flying as balls).  The dove indicates will Destru will
land in human form, so follow it for a head start.

Problem:
Where is the dungeon key?

Hint:
Ria must  tell you she  saw the dungeon  key before you  will be
able  to find  it. Then,  enter the  door at  the bottom  of the
second hill, on  it's left side, and the first  door in the next
screen.  This is  the room  before the  ceiling trap,  where the
guard was before.  Look for the key on the  far left side of the
room.

Problem:
How can I recover the Gold Pedestal after I drop it in the well?

Hint:
You can recover  the gold pedestal by going  through the door on
the right after killing Destru. Now enter the third door to your
right being aware  of the frozen trap. The  door will close when
you take the gold pedestal. To  get back out, you must leave the
dungeon key in the pedestal's place.

Problem:
Where is the Shrine Key and the Lost Talisman?

Hint:
To find  the Shrine Key, go  through the door on  the far right,
after killing  Destru. Get it  from Ria's uncle  after using the
diamond staff to open the door. The Shrine key opens the door at
the left in Destru's room, which leads to the talisman. You must
have the gold pedestal as well.

Problem:
I've recovered the Lost Talisman.  Is there anything else to this
adventure?

Hint:
After you  have recovered the  Lost Talisman and  thrown it into
the bottomless swamp as the Forest God directed, there are other
things to be found. Climb back down  in the well and get the Fog
Robe from  the bottom. You can  also go through the  second door
from where you first came  into this adventure, and then through
the door  at the bottom of  the next screen. Jump  at the shrine
and  fight  the  monster.  Defeating  this  monster is worth 500
experience points.

   3 ... Lucifer's Floodgate

Problem:
How do I find the Gabriel Sword?

Hint:
Go through the first door, at the far right, after you enter the
adventure. Now enter the bottom door,  the door on the right and
the door  on the left.  Pass all four  waterfalls and enter  the
door on the right. Go through  the bottom door and jump onto the
platforms  until you  find  the  Gabriel sword.  2000 experience
points can be gained by defeating the Krakens.

Problem:
How do I stop the water?

Hint:
The water  has to be  stopped if  you  want to get  to the caves
behind it.  Go through the  first door, at  the far right,  from
where you entered the adventure. Choose the bottom door and then
the first door right of  the waterfalls. Fight the Lizardmen and
push  up on  the third  rod until  you get  the message that the
water has stopped.

Problem:
How can I obtain the Rafael Sword?

Hint:
Go  through the  first door,  at the  far right,  from where you
entered the  adventure. Pass through the  bottom door, the right
door  and then  the left  door. Enter  the third  cave and throw
white  powder  (found  in  the  first  cave  after  starting the
adventure) on the flame. The flame  will go out and you may take
the Rafael sword.

Problem:
How can I obtain the Silver Sword?

Hint:
Finding  the  Silver  sword  involves  the  use  of  two  swords
previously found. Use  the Rafael sword to enter  the first door
on  the  top  level  from  where  you  started the adventure. Go
through the door at the bottom  and use the Gabriel sword to get
through the  next bottom door.  Jump at the  fourth lamp and  go
back out where  you came in. A new door  will have appeared just
above  where you're  standing. Enter  this door  and jump on the
first  dotted  block  which  is  out  of  line.  When there is a
straight line of dots, the Silver sword will appear.

Problem:
How can I obtain the Michael Sword?

Hint:
Three  swords are  needed in  the search  for the Michael Sword.
Enter the first  door, at the far right,  from where you started
the adventure. Take  the door at the bottom,  the second door to
the right of  the water and the door on  the right. This will be
the room  where zombies appear. There  is a blank space  for two
swords  next to  the door  on the  right. Place  the Gabriel and
Silver swords  and enter the  door. It will  take two throws  of
white powder to extinguish this  flame. Once you do, though, you
will have found the Michael sword.

Problem:
How can I obtain the Crystal Sword?

Hint:
Go in the  first door, at the far right,  from where you entered
the adventure. Choose the door at  the bottom, the first door to
the left and jump at the second lamp. Go through the door at the
bottom to the room with  the Hobgoblins. Place the Michael sword
to  get in  the next  door. Complete  a straight  line of dotted
blocks and the Crystal sword will appear.

Problem:
How do I open the floodgate?

Hint:
Opening the floodgate is your  last challenge in this adventure.
Use the  Rafael sword to enter  the first door on  the top level
from  where you  started the  adventure. Choose  the door at the
bottom and use the Gabriel sword to pass through the next bottom
door. Now enter the bottom door and use the Michael sword to get
in the  door on the left.  After going through the  bottom door,
place the silver and crystal swords to open the floodgate.

Problem:
I've opened the floodgate. What else can I do in this adventure?

Hint:
An armor plate can be found once you have solved this adventure.
Go  back through  the first  door, at  the far  right, from  you
started the  adventure. Take the  door at the  bottom, the right
door and then the door on the  left. Enter the door to the right
of where the  water once fell. All the way  to the right of this
room is the armor plate.

   4 ... The Cursed Oasis

Problem:
How can I obtain the oil?

Hint:
You will need to get oil  at least four times in this adventure.
Travel all the  way to the right from where  you first enter the
adventure and you will find the castle. Go to the left and enter
the door at  the top of the stairs. Go  through the next door at
the top, the fourth door in the  next scene and then the door at
the bottom.  This should be  the room with  moving pillars. Exit
this room  through the water at  the bottom left of  this scene.
You should now be in the room  with the Ocula. The oil is in the
room through the opening at the top left corner of this scene.

Problem:
How can I rescue the caged girl?

Hint:
The winches  holding the cage in  which the girl is  trapped are
rusted. Make sure  you have some oil and go  through the door at
the top  of the stairs  from where you  first enter the  castle.
Again, go  through the top  door and then  the first one  to the
left. Oil  this winch and  go back to  get more oil.  This time,
instead of  taking the first door,  take the second door  to the
left. Oil this winch and the girl will be freed.

Problem:
Where can I find the glasses to help me see in the dark?

Hint:
Once you have freed the girl from the cage, go and see the cook.
She is through the door at the bottom, left from where you first
enter the castle. Now go through the door to your left, the door
to your left again and the door  at the bottom. Walk all the way
to the left  of this room and the  cook will give you a  pair of
glasses that will allow you to see in the dark.

Problem:
How can I obtain the Hydrochloric Acid?

Hint:
The first Holy Water you come is actually Hydrochloric Acid. You
realize this  when you take  it to the  girl at the  oasis. This
acid is  essential in finding the  true Holy Water, keep  it. To
find the  bottle of fake Holy  Water, take the bottom  door from
where you  first enter the  castle. Take the  door to your  left
twice, the  door at the bottom  and then the door  at the bottom
right of this screen. Enter the  middle door. You should be in a
room with Berserkers and a jar. Avoid the trap and turn the jar.
Go back out  and in the next door to  your right. Again take the
door to your right and then  the door in the middle. This should
be a room with poisonous snakes and another jar. There is a trap
here also that you must avoid to turn the jar. Go back out, then
in the next  door to your right. Travel up  the fountain and you
should be in the first castle  scene. Choose the door at the top
of the  stairs twice, go all  the way to the  right, past all of
the doors. There is now an opening in the wall, go through.

Problem:
How do I find real Holy Water?

Hint:
There are a couple of things you must do before you can find the
real Holy Water. Take the herbs  from the oasis and give them to
the cook. Now enter the door at the top of the stairs from where
you first enter the castle. Take the next door at the top and go
past  all of  the doors  and through  two openings  in the wall.
(Past where you found the fake  Holy Water.) Go through the door
at your left  and then the door at the  bottom. At the left side
of this  scene is a  wall with a  keyhole in it.  Go back to the
cook and get the message about her seeing a key. Use the acid on
the  eighth pillar  to the   left after  leaving the  castle and
heading toward  the desert. Receive  the key and  use it at  the
keyhole. There are  a couple of more jars that  need to be oiled
and turned before this wall will  move. The jars are through the
two holes in the bottom of the room with the Ocula.

   5 ... The Tower of Thieves

Problem:
How can I get the key from the drunken man?

Hint:
You will  need a jug  from the chapel.  To find this,  go right,
through the door, and upstairs. Go through the right door, fight
your way  up, and through the  next door. Go all  the way to the
right, through  the door, upstairs,  and left through  the first
door. Go left through the door and  walk all the way to the left
into the Chapel. The jug is on  the altar. The wine can be found
by going right,  through the door, right, down,  and through the
door again. Go all the way  to the left, through the door, down,
through the  door, and right.  Go down, through  the door, fight
your  way downstairs,  and through  the door.  Then, go left and
through the  narrow Tower door.  Go downstairs, right,  and fill
the jug with wine. (You'll need to fill the jug two more times.)

Problem:
How can I ride the elevator?

Hint:
You need to  speak to Zorak before you will  be able to ride the
elevator. Go through the right  door into the 3-door room, right
the through the  middle door ( there are  three on this walkway)
into Zorak's room. Talk to Zorak,  leave his room and go through
the  door  on  the  far  right.  Talk  to  the  man who runs the
elevator. He will  not let you ride, so go  back to Zorak's room
and  talk to  him again.  Now, when  you return  to the elevator
room, Oram will let you ride.

Problem:
Where is the pass I need to enter the guarded room?

Hint:
Try  taking the  elevator up  to the  left exit  just above  the
Elevator Room ( you should still see Oram on your screen). Fight
the thief to gain his pass. Leave  his room and just step to the
right off the  ledge. Don't get back on  the elevator. Fall down
to  the  main  level,  go  through  the  door,  then through the
left-hand door. Show the guard your pass and go through the left
door, upstairs, and through the  door to the Ball Room. Embedded
in the left pillar are red and  blue balls. Take the blue ball (
you can't take them both) and  leave and go back to the elevator
room. Jump off on the third level  to the exit that is the lower
of the two  right-hand levels. Go right, upstairs,  and open the
door with  the blue ball. This  is the princess, but  she is too
afraid to talk to you. Return  to the main level of the Elevator
Room.

Problem:
How do I open the red dungeon gate?

Hint:
Only the  red ball will  open the red  gate. Return to  the ball
room, replace  the blue ball and  take the red ball.  Leave this
room by  going right, down, right  and through the door  (on the
guard's level). Go down, through  the door, and down. Go through
the door, all the way right, and through the next door. Go down,
through the door, and left (you'll fall to the next level down).
Go through  the door, left  through the door,  down, and through
the door.  Go left (you'll fall  to the next level  down again),
through the door and down. Go  through the door, down, left, and
through the door. Go down, through  the door, right and open the
red gate with the red ball.

Problem:
How can I obtain the pendant from the Princess?

Hint:
You  cannot get  the Pendant  from the  princess until  you have
talked to  Baron, down in  the dungeon that  can only be  opened
with the red ball. Return the red ball to it's hole and take the
blue ball.  Leave this room  and go back  to the elevator  room.
Jump off at the third level to the exit that is the lower of the
two  right-hand levels.  Go right,  upstairs, and  open the door
with  the blue  ball. Now  that you  have spoken  to Baron,  the
princess will entrust you with her Pendant.

Problem:
How do I escape from below the tower? (part 1)

Hint:
You must solve a riddle to  escape from beneath the Tower. Climb
out  of  the  water  to  the  left  and  go through the opening.
Continue all the way left through the last hole, then left again
and through the opening. Go right, through the hole, and down. A
fierce Shadow Dragon  awaits you! Whack it with  your swords for
2000 experience points. Now go left, up and through the hole. Go
over  to this  contraption, stand  on the  right-hand block, and
stomp to  make the upper block  rise. Leave here and  go all the
way right, and down into the water. Take the right fork (not the
downward one),  down at the  next intersection, exit  the water,
and go left. Go through the hole, then down, into another of the
lake's tributaries.  Dash down, right, and  up to Zorak's Island
and his final resting place.

Problem:
How do I escape from below the tower? (part 2)

Hint:
Examine Zorak's  bones and you  learn of his  door puzzle: "From
where the sun sets, one  land, three skies coming together opens
the door." On his island is  another block device. Stand on each
of  the blocks  and stomp  to make  each of  the upper platforms
rise. Return to Zorak's bones to  find the Mark. Exit the island
to the  right, dash down, right  and up to the  last room in the
door puzzle. The  "shelf" in this room is  useless. Stand on the
lower block  and stomp to raise  the upper platform. Go  back to
the Island, exit to the left, dash down, left, up and out. Go up
and through  the hole, right and  down into the water.  Go down,
left,  up and  left at  the fork.  Go down  at the intersection,
left, down, left and up.  You'll automatically float to the top.
Exit  the water,  go through  the door  at the  top, all the way
left, up and  talk to the Wizard. Even  though you've solved the
puzzle, give him  the pass. Enter the water  and follow it until
you're sucked upward and spat out into the wine fountain.

Problem:
How do I obtain a second pass?

Hint:
Kuore, the old man, has another  pass for you. Take the elevator
up one  level and jump off  at the first right.  Talk to him and
he'll give you another pass. Leave his room and make your way to
the Chapel where  you found the jug on the  altar. You'll find a
guard's been  posted here. Show  him your new  pass and go  left
into the Chapel. Stop the wedding between the Princess Zenya and
the false Zorak.

Problem:
How can I obtain the Garateen sword?

Hint:
Garateen is  a holy sword carved  with sacred runes. It  is also
the only  sword that can defeat  the demon. Before you  can find
the Garateen  on Zorak's island  (under the Tower),  you must be
told of  it by Kuore.  To return to  the underground, go  to the
right-hand level  just above Kuore's  room via the  elevator. go
through and through the door. Talk  to the sleeping man and walk
to the right wall. When you touch it, it pushes away revealing a
passage. Walk all the way right, and you'll find a breach in the
floor. Jump into the gap and you'll be back underground.

Problem:
How do I defeat the demon and complete the adventure?

Hint:
Before the adventure ends, you  must defeat the demon and rescue
the Princess Zenya.  After you have the Garateen,  return to the
Widow's Walk at the top of the Tower from the elevator. The best
strategy to  defeat the demon is  to stand still, jump  in place
continuously and  use the Spacebar  to fight. After  the battle,
give the pendant to Zenya for 2000 more experience points.

   6 ... The Master of the Dark Marsh

Problem:
How can I obtain the cauldron?

Hint:
In the Water of Caverns, the  bubbles will take your hit points,
so don't  stand around. Go down  and through the first  door. Go
right and  through this door.  Go left, jumping  over the moving
pillars, and enter  Leeza's Room. Talk to her  until she accepts
your help. Tell her you'll get  the cauldron and she'll tell you
where  it is.  Leave her  and  go  back into  the Water  Caverns
(right). From the Water Caverns, go  all the way right as far as
you can.  Pass the trees  and the door  to reach the  Old Castle
Ruins. Continue right until you  see an odd pillar which appears
to be hanging suspended and attached to another pillar. When you
see it, jump  on the pillar which is in  the ground. Just barely
move  to the  right and  jump to  find the  Cauldron. Return  to
Leeza's room and put the cauldron  on the fireplace to the left.
Talk  to Leeza  to learn  what ingredients  are required for the
potion.

Problem:
How can I obtain Mandragora and Wolfsbane?

Hint:
The two herbs needed to make the potion that will cure Leeza are
Mandragora  and Wolfsbane.  From the  Water Caverns,  go to  the
lower level and  open the chest to get  the Mandragora. Then, go
to the upper door (right above you),  and enter it. Go up to the
chest above  you and get  the Wolfsbane. Return  to Leeza's room
and put the two herbs into the pot.

Problem:
How can I obtain the Bloodstone and Moonstone?

Hint:
There are  two stones that  are also needed  to make the  potion
that will free  Leeza. Leave the Water Caverns  by going all the
way to  the left until you're  outside again. Go left  until you
see the guard. Greet each guard you see until they say something
about  being sick.  Go through   the center,  go left  twice, go
through  the center  twice, go  right three  times, down  twice,
right, and talk to the sick  guard. Leave to the left, then come
back.  The  guard  will  be  gone.  Go  the  right  to  get  the
Bloodstone. Now, go left twice,  center twice, left three times,
down, left, down twice, left twice,  and talk to the sick guard.
Leave  to  the  right,  then  come  back.  Go  left  to  get the
moonstone.  Return to  the Water  Caverns by  going right  three
times, center  twice, right, down  twice, right, center,  right,
down, and right all the way back.

Problem:
How can I obtain the beehive?

Hint:
Use the two  stones to get the beehive  for Leeza's potion. Once
you're back  in the Water Caverns,  go all the way  right to the
first tree and insert the Moonstone  in the hole. Next, go right
to the  next tree and  insert the Bloodstone  in the hole.  Come
back (left) to  the door and enter it. Jump  to get the beehive.
Leave  the  room,  take  both  stones  and  return  to the Water
Caverns.

Problem:
Where is Jack's Flame?

Hint:
Jack's Flame is  the last ingredient needed to  brew the potion.
From the  Water Caverns, go up  and left to the  door, enter it,
then go right  and through that door. Go  left, through the next
door, then  right to the pillar.  Jump to get the  Jack's Flame.
Now, head right again to confront Fragiore. Accept his challenge
to fight  the Red Dragon. Beat  on it with your  swords until it
turns to stone.

Problem:
How do I change Leeza back to her former self?

Hint:
You are now  ready to free Leeza from  Fragiore's spell. Put the
hive in the pot, then talk to  her. Go back to the pot and place
the Jack's Flame under it. After the fire's going, talk to Leeza
again.  Now, go  to the  fire, follow  her instructions, get the
pot, and give it to Leeza. She takes a sip and is transformed to
her former self.

Problem:
How can I obtain the Coin of Joy?

Hint:
The Coin of Joy is your  reward for rescuing Leeza from the evil
Fragiore. After changing her back  to her former self, return to
the Water Caverns. Go left,  through the door, left, through the
door, and  all the way left  to collect your reward  and end the
quest.

   7 ... The Dragon King

Problem:
I'm having trouble getting anywhere in this adventure!

Hint:
In order to proceed in this adventure, you must have a doctor or
nurse  and  a  fortune-teller  in  your  party.  If your current
character roster can't accept these  jobs, you'll need to create
a character who can.

Problem:
How can I get the Wise Man's cane?

Hint:
The man  in the big white  building has the Wise  Man's Cane. Go
left, through  the door, talk  to the King's  brother and leave.
Put your doctor or nurse in the lead, then go through the fourth
door to the right into the Temple. Talk to the sick man and heal
him. Exit this room, go right  and enter the big white building.
Talk to the man until he gives you the cane.

Problem:
How can I obtain the Golden Key?

Hint:
Your fortune-teller must  be in the lead to  get the Golden Key.
Go up the hill (right) and into the water. Jump on the blocks in
this order:  center, left and right.  Go down the hill  and left
into the hole. Talk to the man who opens the door to Lili's Room
for you. Enter, go down, right,  up the ladder, back to the left
and talk to Lili. After you  purify the water, she gives you the
Golden key. Leave by going all  the way right, through the wall,
and up the well. Jump right at the top of the well to exit.

Problem:
How do I obtain the tree medicine?

Hint:
Put  your doctor  or nurse  in front  to get  the Tree Medicine.
Enter the white  building. Talk to the man and  he will give you
the Tree medicine.

Problem:
How do I get the Scroll?

Hint:
You must have  the Tree Medicine before you  can get the scroll.
Go right  across the bridge, and  into the first opening  (not a
door) you see.  Go down the ladder, all the  way left and up the
left-most ladder.  Go to the  pig and talk  to it. It  takes the
Tree Medicine and reverts back to Prince Frederick. He gives you
the scroll.

Problem:
How can I obtain the Hermit's Robe?

Hint:
Rescue Bibi (Lili's  sister) in order to get  the Hermit's Robe.
After receiving the scroll, go through  the door. Go all the way
right,  down the  hill, and  turn  left.  Walk to  the wall.  It
crumbles at the  touch of the Wise Man's Cane.  Go left and into
the hole. Go right to the red gate. The Golden Key shines on the
gate, and  it opens to reveal  Bibi. Now return to  Lili's room.
She will tell  you to come back after you  talk to the people at
the Temple. Leave her room and go all the way back into the town
area. When the priest sees you have Lili's key, he gives you the
Hermit's Robe.  Go back to  Lili who will  enchant the robe  for
you.

Problem:
I need to find Serina.

Hint:
From the  Temple, go all the  way right as far  as you can. Jump
over the volcano  for now and enter the door.  Talk to the King.
When he sees the robe you  have with you, the madness leaves him
and he tells you where Serina  is. The citizens he enchanted are
once  again themselves.  Go right,  through the  door, down  the
ladder, and all the way right.  Go up the ladder, fight your way
to the  wall and touch  it with the  scroll. At it's  touch, the
wall collapses. Go right, down  the ladder, and left through the
hole. Go down and  all the way to the right to  the gate. As you
reach it, the  door opens and Serina steps  forth. Take her back
to the King and then back into town to her father. Receive gold,
experience points and her necklace.

Problem:
How do I get the Dragonslayer and defeat Vadis?

Hint:
After  returning  Serina  to  her  father,  go  in search of the
Dragonslayer sword.  Go back to talk  to the King. He  tells you
where Vadis is.  Leave him, go right and  jump into the volcano.
Travel down, right,  and up out of the lava.  Go down the stairs
and right  into the chasm.  At the bottom,  jump right, go  left
across  the lava,  take the  stairs to  the "stone  pipe" and go
down. Talk to the man who gives you the Dragonslayer sword. Your
battle to defeat Vadis will not be  an easy one. Talk to the man
and  let him  transform the  cane into  a bridge.  Sandwich your
characters with  the lowest hit  points in the  middle. Jump, go
across the bridge  to the right, and battle  Vadis. The strategy
to winning is to hit  it's last end-section. As the Dragonslayer
hits an  end, it dissolves.  Keep hitting until  it's completely
gone. Get the cane back on your way to revisit the King.

I have solved the adventure. Where is my secret reward?

Hint:
The  Sacred  Shield  can  be  found  once  you've completed this
adventure.  Before  ending  the  quest,  speak  to  the King and
Serina's father to receive your tokens of thanks.

   8 ... The Riddle Of The Red Jewel

Problem:
How can I obtain fairy tears?

Hint:
To receive the fairy tears, go right, up the stairs, all the way
right, and enter  the hole in the tree. Now,  go left, up and to
the left edge of the log (do  not go through the hole yet). Save
your game, jump  to the left and try to  land in the bird's nest
below  you. Jump  from the  nest to  the right,  landing on  the
unconnected log where the hut is.  Enter the hut and talk to the
person inside to receive the fairy tears.

Problem:
I'm having trouble finding the letter.

Hint:
After getting the fairy tears, go right, upstairs and insert the
tears  in the  pipe to  make the  bridge solid.  Go right,  jump
right, cross the bridge to the right and retrieve the tears from
the pipe. Go right thru the  tree hole, left and up the elevator
to the level above the inaccessible  hut. Go left, up the stairs
and to the  right. Insert the tears, cross  the bridge and enter
the hut to  learn about the scales. Leave this  room and go thru
the tree  hole. Jump to  the left, across  the bridge, upstairs,
and thru the tree hole to the left of the Scales Room. Go up the
left  stairs, jump  to the  right, and  fall down  past the  two
right-hand logs. Go downstairs to the left edge of the log. Jump
to the right,  then immediately change direction to  the left to
land on  the level with a  door and a hut  directly below it. Go
left and enter the door. Kill  the silkworms and leave. Go left,
and  jump  right  to  the  next  level  down.  Now,  go thru the
previously closed door, and talk to Teto to get the letter.

Problem:
How can I obtain additional fairy tears?

Hint:
Use the  letter to turn the  elevator on and off.  Get to ground
level and go all the way right, up the stairs and "stomp" on the
fifth step to  go down into that grassy-looking  strip. Go right
and talk to the person guarding  the machinery. When he sees the
letter, he lets you go to the lever. Touch the lever to turn the
elevator off. Return to ground level,  go all the way back left,
up, all the  way right through the hole,  left through the hole,
right across the bridge, down,  right, and jump over the missing
bridge. Go through  the hole and left into the  hut. Talk to the
person to  learn about the  location of additional  fairy tears.
They are in the bird's nest. Go  to the left edge of the log and
fall  straight down.  Go into  the hut  and approach the person.
You'll automatically be shooed out  and deposited outside a tree
hole. Go back to the nest, left of the logs, and jump to receive
the tears. You  may have to jump several  times before receiving
the tears.

Problem:
How can I get the red jewel?

Hint:
Turn  the elevator  back on  and  return  to the  hut where  you
learned about the scales. Go right  to the middle of the bridge,
and enter the hole in the  foliage. Talk to the person who tells
you how to get the Jewel. Leave  and go to the Scales. Enter the
right-hand door and kill the  moth. Enter the left-hand door and
get the Red Jewel.

Problem:
How do I heal the red jewel and solve the adventure?

Hint:
Return to the hut where you  learned about the scales, go to the
edge of the  log at the bottom of the  stairs, jump to the right
and then fall  straight down through the bridge  at the right to
land on the  log with the hut. Enter the  hut and go through the
door which leads  to the Sacred Fountain. Go  down and enter the
water. When you do, the Red Jewel is healed and turns yellow.

Problem:
The adventure is solved! How do I obtain the hidden objects?

Hint:
Go  through the  door to  the right  of the  where you found out
about the scales. Look in the  bird's nest for the Rod of Light.
The armor is in the room where you killed the silkworms. You can
find the  robe by jumping  in the bird's  nest just left  of the
tree.  It is  the second  nest from  where you  first enter  the
adventure.

   9 ... The Dark Magician

Problem:
Where are the Dungeon Keys?

Hint:
There is a hidden door that you must find in order to proceed in
this adventure. Go  right from the main room  and go through the
door. Go downstairs and through the door. Dash right, go through
the door  into the Demon Room,  go right and through  this door.
Now,  go all  the way  right to  where the  trail dips downward.
Stand directly over the  supporting pillar (directly below you),
and go  up to enter the  hidden door. Walk over  to the front of
the first blue grate and search to find the Dungeon Keys.

Problem:
Where is the Moonstone?

Hint:
To find the Moonstone, you must first locate the hidden door and
the first blue grate. Go right from the main room and go through
the  door. Go  downstairs and  through the  door. Dash right, go
through the door into the Demon  Room, go right and through this
door.  Now,  go  all  the  way  right  to  where  the trail dips
downward.  Stand directly  over the  supporting pillar (directly
below you), and go up to  enter the hidden door. Enter this blue
grate  and  search  in  the  upper-left  corner  of the room for
another hidden door. Through this door is the Moonstone.

Problem:
I have the Moonstone. how do I proceed?

Hint:
Orsa must join your party  before you can finish this adventure.
He also knows spells of teleportation which involve the Moon and
Star  Stones.  To  find  Orsa  after  locating the Moonstone, go
through  the left  door, up,  and through  the door  back to the
upper level of the Main Room. Go left, jump down, go all the way
right, and enter the door into the Pedestal Room. Place the Moon
Stone on the right holder. Leave the Pedestal Room, go left, and
through the door  back to the Demon Room.  Go right, through the
door, and  this time, go  all the way  right across the  bridge.
Jump to the upper level, enter the door at the right end, and go
through the left-hand blue grate to find Orsa.

Problem:
Where is the Star Stone?

Hint:
Teleportation is  necessary to find  the Star Stone.  This means
that  Orsa must  be in  your  party  and you  have to  place the
Moonstone  on  the  right  pedestal.  Stand  in  the  stone arch
(between the pedestals) to travel to the Garbug Room. Dash right
across the lava, enter the door, and take the Star Stone. Before
you  leave here,  go through  the right  door, stand between the
pillars  and stomp.  Now, you  can exit  the area  via the right
door.

Problem:
Where is the Steel Sword?

Hint:
Use the Star Stone to find the Steel Sword. Place the Star Stone
in the  empty holder in the  Pedestal Room, and enter  the stone
arch.  Go right,  and as  you pass  the third  island, the  Blue
Dragon  attacks! Try  to get  onto one  of the  islands, jump in
place, and  stab at it  with your swords.  After the battle,  go
right to get the Steel Sword.

Problem:
Where is the Sun Stone?

Hint:
After  finding the  Starstone, go  through the  right door, head
left, and go into the Giant  Snakes Room. Dash left, through the
door, and enter the Column of  Light Room. Stand in the light to
rise to the top, then step off to the right. The door at the top
returns you  to the left side  of the Demon Room.  Return to the
Main Room  (right and through  the door). Some  alterations have
been made  since your last  visit. Go up  the stairs, enter  the
door, and go right to find the Sun Stone.

Problem:
How do I defeat Ghedis?

Hint:
If  you have  found the  Sun Stone,  you are  ready to  confront
Ghedis. Return to the Demon Room, go right and through the door.
Go across the  bridge, and through the door at  the right end of
the lower level. Go down, through  the door, and battle your way
to the door at the right.  Enter this door and defeat Ghedis. He
should be easy with Orsa's help.

Problem:
There are 3 extra rewards. Where can I find them?

Hint:
To find them, you must have  the Sunstone in your possession and
Orsa in  your party. Place  the moonstone in  the right pedestal
and  enter the  door. Find  the  Fire  Rod at  the lava  pit. Go
through the door at the right,  the next door at the right (this
is the room where you found  the starstone) and step between the
gold pillars  to find the  Silver Armor. Place  the Starstone in
the left pedestal and remove the Moonstone from the right. Enter
the door in the middle and all the way to the right wall for the
Quartz Shield.

  10 ... The Cursed Ship

Problem:
How can I obtain the Hatchway Key?

Hint:
Your first step in solving this  adventure is to catch the macaw
and get Joshua off the ship. Before you can do this, you need to
find  the hatchway  key. Go  all the  way left,  down the hatch,
downstairs into the Upper Crew Level, and left through the door.
This is  Lucas's Room. Talk to  him, leave, go left  through the
gap  in  the  bulkhead  and  left  through  the  door.  This  is
Jeremiah's Room. Talk  to him, leave, go back  right through the
bulkhead, all the  way right, and through the  door on the lower
level at the  far right side. Now, go down  and through the door
to the  Lower Crew Level. Go  left, down the ladder,  left, down
the next  ladder, and left  into Jacob's Room.  Go to the  desk,
read the diary, and get the Hatchway Key.

Problem:
I need to locate St. Elmo's Fire.

Hint:
Also before  finding the macaw,  you must find  St. Elmo's Fire.
From Jacob's  room, go right, up  the ladder, and work  your way
left to the upper level of the Lower Crew Level. The last of the
rooms you need to visit is Ezekiel's. The door to his room has a
barrel on  either side of it.  Talk to him, then  exit Ezekiel's
room  and return  to the  Main Deck.  Go to  the middle mast and
climb it to the very top.  Night should occur immediately; if it
doesn't, you missed one of the  crew's rooms. Return to all four
rooms to make sure you've hit them  all before you go back up to
the top  of the middle mast.  As soon as night  falls, go to the
left side of  the mast's top cross-beam to  receive a light from
St. Elmo's fire.

Problem:
How do I get the macaw?

Hint:
At the Main Deck, go down to the door which leads to Jacob's
Room.  Go far  right, up  the ladder,  and thru  the door to the
left. Go  down, thru the  door into Door  Room 1. Work  your way
down to the lowest level and go  right. Climb up and over to the
top right  side and continue  right into Door  Room 2. Go  right
down, over to the door, and enter  it. Go up, thru the door, and
into the Aft Room. Go up, thru the door on the middle level, and
all the way  left. Talk to Joshua. Go back  to the Aft Room, up,
and thru the door on the top level at the left into the 2 Barrel
Room (there are  2 barrels here that may  be examined). Go down,
left thru  the door into  the Ghostly Room.  Climb to the  upper
left  exit and  go left.  In the  next room,  go thru the lowest
level's exit to  the left, and continue on  the lower level left
until you reach  the Macaw Room. Go up to  the bird. It will fly
away. Return to the Main Deck,  climb the mast at the far right,
and jump left to the middle mast's cross-beam to get the macaw.

Problem:
How can I get Joshua to go ashore?

Hint:
If you already have the macaw,  you will have no trouble getting
Joshua to go ashore. From the  Main Deck, return to the Aft Room
and  take the  bird to  Joshua. He  decides he  should join your
party and  go ashore. Return  to the Main  Deck, go talk  to the
Captain; then, take Joshua ashore and return to the ship.

Problem:
Where is the Desk Key?

Hint:
After Joshua is  ashore, the next step is to  find the Desk Key.
Go back down to the Lower  Crew Level, and enter Jacob's Room to
catch Lucas snooping.  When he leaves, return to  the Upper Crew
Level, go  to the right,  and down to  the lowest level  in this
area. Enter  the door on  the left which  was previously locked:
This is your  party's room. When you enter  the room, you should
hear a sound. Leave the room,  and return to the Two Barrel Room
where you find Ezekiel waiting. Talk to him, then return to Door
Room One where you find Jeremiah, dead, and take the Desk Key.

Problem:
How can I find the Bloody Axe?

Hint:
Work your way all the way left using the upper levels, and go to
the Hidden Door  Room. Go to and examine  the one barrel sitting
atop a  crate to find the  secret door. Enter it,  and fight all
the rats while working your way up and right to the Bloody Axe.
                                        
Problem:
Where is the Cabin Key?

Hint:
To find  the Cabin Key,  you must be  thrown ashore by  a storm.
First, return to  Ezekiel's room. Talk to him,  leave, and go to
Jeremiah's Room.  Go to his desk  and read his diary.  Return to
the Main  Deck and talk to  the captain. Tell him  you found the
killer until  he tells you to  return to your room.  Go down the
first hatch you  see (left), down the stairs,  left, and through
the door  into your quarters.  As you enter  the room, the  ship
sets  sail, shakes,  and you  find yourself  tossed ashore  on a
grassy island. Go right to  the shrine. Continue right where you
find Lucas once more. He's badly  hurt; talk to him and take his
Cabin Key.

Problem:
How can I find the Auger and the Holy Water?

Hint:
The Cabin Key  in your possession will open  Lucas' Room. Return
to the  ship through the hole  in the hedges. Go  to Lucas' Room
and search his desk to find an  Auger. Take it and return to the
Two Barrel Room. On your way,  you find a bloody, dying Ezekiel.
Talk to him to learn what he saw. After he dies, continue to the
Two Barrel Room.  Go to the top left-hand  barrel and examine it
to get the Holy Water.

Problem:
How do I defeat the Archdemon?

Hint:
Holy Water is  the only thing that will allow  you to defeat the
demon and  solve this adventure.  Take the Holy  Water you found
with the  Auger in the  Two Barrel Room,  to the Captain  on the
Main Deck and confront him. After you sprinkle the Holy Water on
him, he regains his senses,  but you hear something evil calling
from  the island.  Go back  to the  island, head  right, and  do
battle with the Archdemon. He looks nasty, but he's easy.

Problem:
How can I obtain the special reward?

Hint:
There  is one  hidden reward  that can  be found  after you have
solved  the adventure.  Defeat the  Archdemon and  return to the
captain  aboard the  ship. He  thanks you,  then asks  if you'll
climb up the mast to see why the sail won't open. Climb the left
mast and jump on the cross-beam to free the sail. Climb down, go
right, and you find the Golden Bottle.

   1 ... Garden of the Gods

Problem:
How can I get past the gatekeeper?

Hint:
The Gatekeeper is thirsty. Perhaps if you brought him some wine,
he would let you pass through the  gate. Go to the Wine Shop and
talk to the  merchant. Luckily, he found a  bottle of wine. Take
it  and  go  back  to  the  gatekeeper.  Now  that his thirst is
quenched, he lets you through the gate.

Problem:
How can I obtain the Seed of Flame?

Hint:
Start by going left to the  Black Mountains. As you go, you drop
the Red Seed.  Leave to the right, then come  back; the seed has
sprouted. Do this once more, and soon, a vine worthy of climbing
rises before you. Climb the vine  up to the first porch, exit to
the  left, and  go visit  Dionysus. He,  too, seems thirsty, and
asks that you  bring him a tribute the next  time you visit him.
Return to the vine and climb up to the next two porches. Exit to
the right (leave  the left for later), enter  the door, and talk
to Hephaestos. He  sends you on an errand to  Apollo. Go back to
the vine, climb up to the last two porches, and exit to the left
(leave the right for later) to visit Apollo. When he learns that
Hephaestos sent you, he gives you the Seed of Flame.

Problem:
How can I obtain the Red Fruit?

Hint:
You must first have the Seed of Flame before you can get the Red
Fruit. Go back to Hephaestos and  give him the Seed of Flame. He
rewards you with a bottle of  his Golden Wine. Take the wine and
return  to  Dionysus.  He  takes  the  wine  and  tells you that
Aphrodite longs for the red fruit which grows on the vine. Go to
the vine, climb down, and get the Red Fruit.

Problem:
How can I soothe Zeus?

Hint:
Apollo knows  what might appease  Zeus. Return the  Red Fruit to
Apollo. He  gives you some gold  and tells you that  Zeus can be
soothed by  the sound of  a harp. Now,  go see Aphrodite  on the
right  side of  this level.  She tells  you about  the harp  and
needing someone to play it. Go  back to the vine, climb down one
level, and  exit to the  left. o all  the way left  and you find
Anna. Talk to her and she joins your party. Return to Aphrodite.
When you tell her about Anna, you get the harp.

Problem:
How do I defeat the Shrine Maiden and retrieve the bracelet?

Hint:
Take  Anna to  Zeus with  the harp,  and she  immediately begins
playing. Talk to Zeus and receive his thanks. He tells you about
Adana stealing the  bracelet, which is what had  angered him so.
Go back to the General Store and talk to the man. Then go to the
Wine  Shop and  speak to  the wine  merchant. Suddenly, the wine
merchant  disappears, and  in his  place is  the Shrine  Maiden,
Adana! She transports  you to the top of  a mountain and attacks
you. Go  to the tallest  peak to kill  her. When you  do, Zeus's
Bracelet  falls  into  your  hand.  After  you've  retrieve  the
bracelet, you find yourself back in the Wine Shop.

Problem:
How do I obtain the hidden rewards?

Hint:
After receiving the bracelet, you find yourself back in the Wine
Shop. Talk to the merchant for  10 gold coins. Go to the General
Store for another 10 gold coins.  Now, exit, go right, and enter
the Temple.  It's too dark for  you to see, but  gradually, your
eyes become accustomed to the darkness, and you see a bag of 100
gold coins in the right corner. Return to the Blue Mountains for
a Shield  that is hidden  in a ravine  just to the  right of the
door.

   2 ... The Caverns of Ice

Problem:
How do I find the Lever?

Hint:
Enter the door in the facade into the Icicle Room, go right, and
through the door into the First  Polar Room. Go through the left
door, down, and through the door  into the Second Polar Room. Go
through the right door into the Angel Room, and through the door
at  the  bottom  of  the  stairs  into  the  Cell.  Talk to both
prisoners  for clues  to the  puzzles Sukoram  has placed on the
doors.  Return to  the Second  Polar Room,  go through  the left
door,  down,  and  enter  the  Lever  Room. You'll see something
twinkling on the pillar above the door. Go up and get the Lever.

Problem:
How can I stop the gas fueling the refrigeration unit?

Hint:
You need  to have the  lever in your  inventory. From the  lever
room, go  all the way  left to the  pile of bones  to get a clue
about  the  doors  in  the  Lettered  Doors  Room.  The clue is:
C-thrice B-twice A-once. Return to the Angel Room and get letter
A. Then  return to the Icicle  Room, dash all the  way left, and
enter the door into the Hell Room. Go to the first L and replace
it with the  A to "heal hell". Go back  to the first Polar Room,
go through the right door, down,  and into the Demon Room. Fight
the killer snakes and go left. Enter the water, go down, around,
and up to the God Room. Exit  the water, go left, thru the door,
down, and enter  the door into the Lettered  Doors Room. Go left
and enter the  C door; go right and enter  C; go right and enter
C. Now,  go right until you  loop back to the  B door, and enter
it; go left and enter B  once more. Finally, go right, and enter
the A  door. You should  be in the  Refrigerant Room. Go  to the
pipe going into the ground. Use the Lever to turn off the gas.

Problem:
How can I find the secret door?

Hint:
Go back to the Icicle Room and go right. You'll see three frozen
waterfalls.  Use them  as stepping  stones to  get to  the upper
level and go through the door. Go down and enter the Evoke Room.
Jump up and  touch the V to open a  secret door, but don't enter
it yet!

Problem:
How do I free Kahzeh from his icy prison and receive the Tears of
Wind?

Hint:
Free  Kahzeh  and  receive  the  Tears  of  Wind by changing the
"Blast"  to  "Bless".  After  discovering  the  secret  door, go
through the right  door into the Blast Room  and talk to Kahzeh.
Go back to the Evoke Room, take the last E from the word, return
to  the Blast  Room, and  place the  E where  the A  is. Now, go
right, through the door, and  battle Sokuram. You'll need to use
the  waterfalls  to  rise  high  enough  to  kill him. After the
battle, go right, and take the letter S from the word. Return to
the Blast  Room and place  the S where  the T is  to free Kahzeh
from his prison. As a reward, you receive the Tears of Wind from
him.

Problem:
I need help battling Ekim and finding my hidden rewards.

Hint:
If you have  the Tears of Wind, you are  ready to do battle with
Ekim. Go right and through the  door into Ekim's Room. He's easy
to  beat. After  you do,  return to  the Demon  Room, enter  the
water, and search the walls for  the Shield. Then, return to the
bones in the Lever Room to find the Armor.

   3 ... The Curse of Medusa

Problem:
How can I obtain Medusa's Mirror Shield?

Hint:
Go right from  where you first entered this  adventure and enter
each of the three houses. Exit the last house, go right past the
stone people, continue  right over the bridge, and  go down into
the hole you find. Go left until you see Medusa. Immediately, go
right, take the Mirror Shield and continue right to the rope.

Problem:
I need help getting the Antidote?

Hint:
After getting the Mirror Shield, go  up the rope, exit, and talk
to Anna, who  joins your party. Go back to  the stone people and
examine  the one  standing by  himself to  the left  of the mine
entrance.  This is  Anna's master;  she takes  the Antidote from
him.

Problem:
How can I obtain the Blue Cord?

Hint:
Go into  the mine entrance, and  go right until you  see Medusa.
Again, as  soon as you  see her, go  left and exit  the mine. Go
right, across  the bridge, and  you should see  a knothole in  a
tree. Enter the knothole and talk to all the people you see down
there.  Exit, go  right, and  back  down  into the  hole in  the
ground. Go  left, and this time  when you see Medusa,  jump over
her to get into the newly opened mine tunnel. Go left to the jar
and get the Blue Cord.

Problem:
How can I defeat Medusa?

Hint:
Go to the right, jump over  Medusa again, and continue right, up
the rope and out. Go right  to where the stones are piled around
the  tree on  the riverbank,  and throw  the Blue  Cord into the
water to get  your weapons power increased. You're  now ready to
battle Medusa. Go back down into  the mine, find Medusa and kill
her. After the battle, go all the way left to exit the mine, and
talk to the girl standing where Anna's master was. She tells you
that he's gone  into the mountains to look for  Anna. Go all the
way left as if to end the quest. As you do, Anna will leave your
party. Continue left; suddenly,  Medusa's live head comes flying
at you! To kill her once and for all, stand in place, face left,
and attack with your swords. When  she finally dies, her head is
severed, turned to stone, and dropped at your feet.

Problem:
How can I obtain my secret rewards?

Hint:
Return to the mine where you fought Medusa, go all the way right
to the rope, and search the right-hand wall for the Armor. Go up
the rope,  jump to the  left, and get  the Laurel Rod.  Finally,
exit the mine, go all the way left, and enter the house with the
fireplace. Search the fireplace to find the Ring of Power.

   4 ... The Missing Magician

Problem:
How can I obtain the Flame Crystal?

Hint:
Go right  through the spinning  stone columns. Then,  go through
the  opening into  the Machine  Room. Go  through the right door
into the Lava  Pool Room and go across the  moving ledges to the
other  side. Turn  and face  back to  the left  to see something
glittering. Dash left across the lava to get the Flame Crystal.

Problem:
How can I obtain the Red Gemstone?

Hint:
After you've gotten  the Flame Crystal, dash back  to the right,
all  the way  right, and  down into  Stairwell One.  Go down and
enter the  stone tube. Go down  into the Harpy Room,  dash left,
and enter the  door. Go left and examine the  globe to learn how
to  stop it's  spinning. Exit   this room,  return to  the stone
doorway in the lava Pool Room, and get the Red Gemstone.

Problem:
I need help releasing Kaji and getting the Energy Rod.

Hint:
Release Kaji  by going from the  Harpy Room, all the  way right,
down the tube to Stairwell Two,  down, and down into the tube to
the  Fireball Room.  Go left,  insert the  Red Gemstone into the
square niche  to open the  grate, and dash  left to the  doorway
into the Amoeba  Room. Go right, down to  Stairwell Three, down,
and down through  the tube to Kaji's Room. Go  right and talk to
her.  Insert the  Blame Crystal  to release  her. She  gives you
advice on defeating Kaiko, and the Energy Rod.

Problem:
How can I obtain the Morning Star?

Hint:
Go back up to the Ogre Room, right, and touch the gate. Go right
to the  central globe and examine  it. As you do,  a force draws
you into  the glove and deposits  you in a different  room. Work
your way down to and take the Morning Star at the lower right.

Problem:
How can I defeat Haiko and get the chain mail?

Hint:
Return to  Kaji's Room, get  the Flame Crystal,  and dash right,
up, and through the door  into Haiko's Room. Start attacking the
flames shooting up from the  floor. The more you extinguish, the
lower  Haiko will  come. You  must get  him down  to the highest
level your party can jump before  you can destroy him. After the
battle, go right to find Chain Mail.

Problem:
How do I solve this adventure?

Hint:
To solve the adventure, return to  the Machine Room (all the way
back up  to the top  level) and hit  the globe with  the Morning
Star to destroy it. Now, return  to the Harpy Room, go left over
the bouncing columns, enter the opening, and destroy this globe.
When  you do,  the door  out closes;  you must  destroy the  two
bouncing balls in order to reopen  the door. Now, go back to the
Fireball  Room, dash  left to  the other  grate, and  insert the
Flame Crystal  to open it. Go  all the way left,  up the tube to
Stairwell Five, and up to the  Missing Magician's Room. Go up to
him to learn what the quest was really about.

Problem:
How can I obtain my secret rewards?

Hint:
Do you remember  the room with the center  globe that transports
you to another room? From this center globe, go left and jump at
the first opening (in the blue  wall) to get the Jade Ring. From
here,  go up  the first  stone pipe  on to  the left,  climb the
stairs and enter the pipe at the top. Go left and enter the door
on the left. Go right and up the first stone pipe, up the stairs
and in the top pipe. Now, go left and jump on the highest pillar
to get the Gold Ring.

   5 ... The Water of Life

Problem:
How can I obtain the Tuning Fork?

Hint:
From where you first enter the adventure, dash right, go down to
the lower level  and all the way right. Stay  on the lower level
and go through the hole into  the Long Room. Dash right, examine
the hand to take it, and go left through the left-hand hole into
the Two  Door Room. Jump down,  go right, down, and  through the
hole into  the Heart Room One.  Go down and through  the door at
the lower right into the Muscle Control Room. Touch the red spot
next to the muscle to activate  it. This is an elevator of sorts
you'll use  elsewhere. Every time you  use it, you will  need to
come here to  reactivate it. Return to Heart  Room One, go left,
up at the first opportunity, and through the hole into the Heart
Room Two. Go right, through the  hole into the Stomach Room, and
right, then left to the bottom  level. Go through the left hole,
over to the right door, and through it into the Cask Room. Go to
the cask and examine it to get some advice and the Tuning Fork.

Problem:
I need help opening the Loud Door!

Hint:
From the  Cask Room, leave and  go through the left  hole to get
back to the Stomach Room. Then,  go back through the hole on the
upper level  to et back  to the Heart  Room Two. Go  down to the
lowest  level of  Heart Room  Two and  enter the  door. Put  the
Tuning Fork on the left stand;  you should hear a loud sound. Go
back to the  Stomach Room, go down, and through  the hole on the
right side into the Acid Lake Room. Save your game before making
another move, then jump from ledge  to ledge until you reach the
Loud door  on the right  side of the  lake; enter it.  Go up and
right to get the first of  three Crystal Valves. Exit this room,
save your game once more, and  return to Heart Room Two. Go down
through the door and take the Tuning Fork.

Problem:
How do I enter the Unclear door?

Hint:
Get the tuning fork, go back to the right, go to the upper level
of Heart Room 2, go left, and  thru the hole to Heart Room 1. Go
down, left, up,  and right thru the hole to  the 2 Door Room. Go
left, then  back to the  Long Room. Go  right, go thru  the hole
into the Elevator Room. Jump onto  the elevator, up, jump off to
the right.  Go thru the  hole into the  Cilia Room, jump  right,
enter the Valve Control Room.  Insert the Crystal Valve into the
right niche.  Return to Heart Room  1. Go to the  Muscle Control
Room and  turn on the elevator.  Go back to Heart  Room 1, left,
and thru the first hole you come  to on the lower level to Heart
Room 4. Gk`eown and thru the door on the bottom right. Place the
Tuning Fork; you should hear an unclear sound. Exit the room, go
left, up, and thru the top hole  back to the 2 Door Room. Go up,
take the right  Unclear door to Crawler Room  1. Go right, down,
and thru the hole to the Slug Room. Go right, thru the hole, get
the 2nd Crystal Valve. Return to the 2 Door Room.

Problem:
How do I open the Clear door?

Hint:
Go  to the  Valve Control  Room, remove  the right  crystal, and
insert  a crystal  in the  left niche.  Return to  Heart Room 1,
reactivate the elevator, then go back  to Heart Room 4. Go down,
right, thru  the door, and get  the Tuning Fork. Exit  this room
and go up to the left, back to Heart Room 2. Go right, down, and
left on  the middle level.  Go left and  thru the hole  into the
Bivalve Room.  Go thru the upper  hole to Heart Room  3, all the
way right, thru the door, and  place the Tuning Fork; you should
hear a  clear sound. Exit the  room, go all the  way left, down,
and  thru the  hole into  the Leech  Room. Dash  down, left, up,
left, and  down. Go thru the  door into the Stone  Arch Room. Go
left, upstairs, and thru the Clear  door into Crawler Room 2. Go
right, get the last Crystal Valve, return to the Leech Room, and
go back to Heart Room Three. Go right, up, and right to retrieve
your Tuning Fork. Then, return to the Valve Control Room. Remove
the left crystal, and insert a crystal into the middle niche.

Problem:
How do I solve the adventure and receive the Water of Life?

Hint:
Return  to the  Long Room,  and go  through the  new hole in its
center.  Notice odd  changes in  the heart  walls; passages once
open are now  closed. Reactivate the elevator, go  back to Heart
Room 1, then return to the Bivalve Room. Go up through the hole,
and all  the way right to  the door. Enter and  place the Tuning
Fork; you  should hear a clear  sound. Go back to  heart Room 2,
right, and thru  the hole into the Stomach  Room. Go down, left,
and all  the way right  thru the hole  into the Acid  Lake Room.
This time,  you're going to have  to enter the acid.  Jump down,
dash left, and enter the hole.  You're back in the Leech Room at
the far right side. Go all the way left, thru the door, and back
to the Stone Arch room. Go thru the arch, dash all the way right
past the muscle, and go thru the  hole to get back to the 2 Door
Room. Now, you  can enter the left door. On  the other side, you
find another  muscle elevator. Ride  up, jump off  to the right,
and enter the hole. Take the Water from the statue.

Problem:
How can I obtain my secret reward?

Hint:
Return to  the Valve Control  Room and take  the middle crystal.
You'll need  to use the  new hole connecting  the Long Room  and
Heart Room  One to get back  there. Now, return to  the Two Door
Room, back to the Stomach Room, and through the lower left hole.
Go  through the  door, down,  and get  the Potion  from the Cask
Room.
