Mission Strategy

This mission starts out as just a casual cruise, but things turn ugly quick.
Fly straight ahead and destroy the 3 Imperial Probe Droids attacking the
homesteads. Put on your brakes as you attack them and then you should be able
to destroy them in only 1 pass.

Now head right and take out the 6 Probe Droids here. Again brake when you
attack and also destroy the Droids attacking homesteads first, then move onto
the idle ones. Now follow you radar to get to the next group of Probe Droids.
They are further away so close your s-foils to go faster and when there open
them again to be ready to fight. Kill these Droids and then move over to the
single Probe Droid attacking a homestead, kill him but don't go after the last
one just yet. To achieve the gold medal you need to kill the 2 Storm Troopers
and the 2 Bantha riding Troopers hanging around the crashed pod (the one C-3PO
and R2-D2 landed on Tatooine on in the movie). This pod is on a plain and is
on the edge of the map, it shouldn't be hard to find.

With them dead go after the remaining Probe Droid. Once he is dead you will be
told to go to Mos Eisley Space Port and defend it against the Tie Bombers.
When you get there, there will be two groups of Bombers circling the city.
Pick a group and go after it, you are faster than they are so when you get
close put on the brakes and blast them out of the sky. Go after the next lot
of Bombers to finish the mission.

Rendezvous at Barkhesh
Mission Objectives
- Escort the Supply Convoy to Safety
Requirements for a Gold Medal
TIME - 5.45
ENEMIES DESTROYED - 30
ACCURACY - 40%

BONUSES COLLECTED - 0
Mission Strategy

You start the mission with enemies dead ahead. Sweep low and take out the
Probe Droids. After they have been destroyed you can follow your radar to the
convoy. You must protect this convoy at all costs! To earn a gold medal all
vehicles in this convoy must make it out alive, if even a single one is
destroyed you lose the chance at gaining another gold medal. Fly past the
convoy and destroy the Probe Droids here. Now turn right and head down the
valley. Through this valley there are several AT-STs. You will come to the
first just as you enter the valley, it will be by itself, slow down and let a
volley of blaster fire at it. Hopefully you should only need one pass, now
continue you on and you will come to 2 more AT-STs. Come in slow and let loose
another volley of blaster fire focusing on just one of them. on your next pass
take out the other one. Now gain some height and take out the 2 Turbolaser
Turrets. Once they have been destroyed hurry back to the convoy. As they enter
the valley 2 Tie Bombers will appear and head for the convoy. Quickly take
them out before they have a chance to bomb the convoy.

Proceed ahead of the convoy to the end of the valley, here await 3 AT-STs one
to your right, your left and one dead ahead. Quickly take out the one to your
right with blaster fire. After this one has been destroyed fire a missile at
the one to your left. Now release a volley of blaster fire to the one dead
ahead. Now the area is clear for the convoy. Now to get a gold medal in this
mission you need to proceed left. You will come to a Turbolaser Turret.
Destroy this and head onwards. There will be another Turret, destroy this and
continue forwards. You will come to a small Imperial Base. Destroy the AT-ST
with a missile and then take out the Large Turbolaser Turret with another
missile and a barrage of blaster fire. If there is another AT-ST destroy it
with a missile and then hurry back to the convoy. Close your s-foils tog et
there faster. By the time you get there you will have about 10 seconds before
2 Tie Bombers appear and begin their attack run on the convoy, destroy them
before they get the chance. Keep following the convoy and when the last 2 Tie
Bombers appear destroy them to finish the mission.

Search for the Nonnah
Mission Objectives
-Locate the Rebel Ship Nonnah
- Protect the Nonnah from Imperial Forces
Requirements for a Gold Medal
TIME - 10.00
ENEMIES DESTROYED - 38
ACCURACY - 20%
FRIENDLY SAVES - 1
BONUSES COLLECTED - 0
Mission Strategy

You start this mission near the end of a small valley. You will be attacked
just as you start by about 6 Tie Interceptors, clear them off as quickly as
you can and then begin your search for the Nonnah. Try and take out any
Bombers or Interceptors that come your way as well as any Probe Droids, these
kills will help you to get a gold medal. It is pretty vital that you find the
Nonnah before you get a message stating that the Nonnah is under attack,
because they may destroy her before you get there. Once you are crash site.
Begin attacking the AT-ST then move onto the Tank Droids. Soon after you
arrive several waves of Bombers appear and immediately begin bombing the
Nonnah. You must destroy these as well as their escort of Tie Interceptors.
Use long slow sweeps at the ground units to destroy them as quickly as
possible and then move onto the air borne targets. The Bombers should be your
first preference then the Interceptors. The AT-PTs will emerge after the first
wave of Bombers have been destroyed.

After the remaining Bombers have been destroyed the rebel shuttle will begin
to leave the planet, you must provide escort. There will be many Tie
Interceptors, so destroy the ones closest or attacking the shuttle. Try not to
get too far away from the shuttle or you may end up losing it. Try not to
shoot aimlessly be sure to hit your target, because you need a high accuracy
rating to get a gold medal. Also try and take out as many Probe Droids and Tie
Interceptors as possible to gain that high kill count.

Defection at Corellia
Mission Objectives
-Investigate Strange Readings
-Protect the Capital Tower
-Protect the Tech Centre
-Protect the Evacuation Shuttle
Requirements for a Gold Medal
TIME - 10.00
ENEMIES DESTROYED - 50
ACCURACY - 20%
FRIENDLY SAVES - 95
BONUSES COLLECTED - 1
Mission Strategy

You start the level with some strange radar readings, you are ordered to
investigate them immediately. Follow your radar and do it as fast as possible.
When you arrive you will see a group of Probe Droids, destroy them and then
you will receive a transmission stating that they are under attack. Return to
the city as fast as possible. When you arrive back at the city there will be
several groups of Tie Bombers and some Tie Fighters, make the Bombers your
first priority as they do more damage than a Tie Fighter. You need to work
quickly or they will end up destroying the building your are assigned to
protect! To earn a gold medal you will need to find the Advanced Proton
Torpedoes, they are down low into the city and if you fly high enough you
should be able to see them and swoop in to get them. They are nestled inside a
group of buildings which reside near a hill just off from the Capital Tower.

After you have destroyed all the Bombers attacking the city you will receive a
transmission from Crix Madine, he is pinned down in the Tech Centre and is
being attacked by Bombers. Get there as quickly as possible. Once there focus
on one Bomber at a time and try and destroy it as quickly as possible. Once
all the Bombers have been destroyed from this area you will hear see a
cutscene with Wedge about to be destroyed by some Ties, and the Millennium
Falcon makes an appearance and saves the day. The Millennium Falcon will now
assist you in aiding the city.

Now you need to focus on the bigger problem, an AT-AT has been deployed just
off from the Capital Tower and is on a rampage! Follow your radar to get there
as quickly as possible. Once there come in (if this is your first time taking
on an AT-AT, come in slow to use to tow cable, but if you are happy going full
throttle then be my guest) low and use the tow cable when to told to, then
circle around the AT-AT (this may take a few tries for beginners but once used
to it it becomes quite easy) 3 times to destroy the big brute. The tow cable
will release itself automatically. If you wish you may now shoot the downed
AT-AT to make it explode, it is a pretty good explosion so try it sometime.

Now go after the remaining Ties until you get another transmission from Crix
Madine, he is under attack again, this time from 2 AT-STs, an AT-AT and some
Storm Troopers. The Storm Troopers are relatively harmless so focus your
attention on the 2 AT-STs because they are closest. Try and come in slow and
from behind them, usually for an Airspeeder 2 to 3 passes you should take one
out. Repeat for the next one. Now move onto the AT-AT, just like before come
in low and use the tow cable when told and pass around it 3 times to down it.

You will now be called in to provide an escort for the evacuation shuttle,
there are several Ties behind it so follow your radar to it and defend it. Try
not to attack the Ties head on (the Airspeeder doesn't have the greatest
armour available) try and come in from behind. Destroy the Ties and don't let
the shuttle out of your sight because more Ties will be arriving shortly. The
shuttle will head to the Tech Centre to pick Madine, provide escort until it
leaves the city, and destroy any Imperials along the way.

To get enough kills for a gold medal you may need to kill some Storm Troopers
and maybe even some of the Imperial Water craft attacking the shore of the
city. You need to be quick to destroy the Bombers so that you can get as many
friendly saves as possible, if your too slow then kiss the gold medal away.

Liberation of Gerard V
Mission Objectives
-Escort Y-Wings to their Targets
-Disable Civilian Yachts
-Destroy Tower Turbolasers
Requirements for a Gold Medal
TIME - 5.15
ENEMIES DESTROYED - 33
ACCURACY - 30%
FRIENDLY SAVES - 6
BONUSES COLLECTED - 0
Mission Strategy

With this mission you don't have much time to finish it (that's if you want a
gold medal of course). As you approach the first city you will see 2
Turbolaser Turrets on the ground, come in slow and take them both out in one
pass. Now head the direction you were going before engaging the Turrets, you
will come to a hilly area with a Missile Turret on top, destroy the Missile
Turret and continue flying right along the hillside. You will come across 2
more Missile Turrets, try and destroy them in only one pass. After they have
been destroyed head back towards the city, there are 2 Turbolaser Turrets on
top of some buildings in the centre of the city. Come in slow and take them
out.

With the Missile and Turbolaser Turrets gone the Y-Wings will have a much easy
time disabling the Yachts. Now focus on destroying any other Turrets and
AT-PTs before the message from Wedge comes through. Wedge will report in that
the 128th Tie Interceptor Squadron are chasing him and that he needs
assistance. The 128th Tie Interceptor Squadron are the best of the best so be
careful when tackling these foes. Follow your fellow wingmen and your radar to
the next part of the city. Destroy the AT-PTs on the way for the added kills.

In this section there are more Missile and Turbolaser Turrets, your first
priority should be the Missile Turrets then the Turbolaser Turrets. Come in
slow and low at the Missile Turrets to take them out and if you are low enough
you may just evade their missiles. After the Missile Turrets have been
destroyed go after the Turbolaser Turrets. Also in this section there is a
Tower Turbolaser, these are the same as Turbolaser Turrets but are taller and
having the height advantage gives them a better range. When you see it (you
can't miss it) destroy it, it may take several passes of blaster and proton
torpedo fire to destroy it. Try and destroy as many Turbolaser Turrets as you
can before the Tie Interceptor Squadron arrive.

Keep providing the essential cover for the Y-Wings and when the Interceptors
arrive break away and head after them, only take on 1 at a time though going
after a pack could prove deadly. You will need to work fast to get the gold
medal and you also need a fair amount of kills so shoot and destroy anything
that isn't Rebel or civilian.

Mission Strategy

First off you need to escort Madines Troops to the Imperial Base, the first
threat you need to dispose of is the 4 AT-PTs. Come in slow and you should be
able to take at least 2 out in one pass. Swing back around for the next 2.
Keeping moving on, you will come to the Base which is guarded be 4 Turbolaser
Turrets. Aim for the 2 on the left first, come in slow and take out the one in
the ditch first the move onto the one just above it. Now veer to your right
and take out the one on the ground then move up to get the one on the elevated
platform.

When Madines Troops arrive they will tell you to destroy the Shield Generator.
You must head left from the base. You will come across a Missile Turret,
destroy and keep going over the short hill. You will come to an area housing 4
Missile Turrets. Take out the one straight ahead then turn on the 3 in a line.
For these it is probably best to come in fast and low to take them all out in
one pass. You should of noticed the shield generator by now, but don't destroy
it yet. Head into the trench it is in and destroy the 2 Turbolaser Turrets,
the buildings and the AT-PT.

Now to get the bonus. You need to head back to where you started. Once there
head left (assume that you are facing towards the Imperial Base) and follow
the trench, take the left trench and you will come to some buildings guarded
by some Missile Turrets. Come in fast and destroy the building, releasing the
Advanced Shields Bonus. Grab and then destroy the Missile Turrets for the
added kill you need. Now head back to the Shield Generator as quickly as
possible, and try and destroy as many Missile and Turbolaser Turrets on the
way. Let off a barrage of blaster and missile fire at the Shield Generator.
Once it has been destroyed head back to the base as quickly as possible. Once
Madines Troops are in sight, slow down and come up behind them and take out
the 3 AT-PTs. Now all that is left to do is to take out the Tie Interceptors
and Tie Bombers. The Bombers should be your first priority, then onto the
Interceptors.

Now to get the gold medal you need to be accurate with your firing, don't fire
aimlessly be sure of your target. You also need to protect Madine and his
Troops, even if only one of his carriers are destroyed then you will miss out
on the gold medal. You also need to grab the bonus. You also need to have a
high kill count. Try and destroy as many Missile and Turbolaser Turrets as you
can when going to and coming back from getting the bonus.

The Imperial Construction Yards

Mission Strategy

When you start it is best to slow down and let your fellow wingmen overtake
you, do this because some Dishes are past tight turns and you may only see
them once you are right on top of them. But your wingmen on the other hand
will take them on and succeed. Proceed through the canyon destroying the Radar
Dishes as you go. As you exit the canyon you will notice an AT-AT to your
right, don't worry about him for now instead head left and through the canyon
here. Stay close to the left wall and gain some height. You will come to the
AT-AT Factory, it is guarded by 2 Missile Turrets, 2 Turbolaser Turrets and an
AT-AT. If you stay close to the left wall you can pas the Turbolasers and the
AT-AT without taking damage. Once past them come down and destroy the 2
Missile Turrets, swing back around to take out the Turbolasers. Now get close
enough to the AT-AT to use the tow cable. Circle him 3 times to bring him
crashing to his knees. By now 3 Tie Fighters should be after you, it is best
to destroy them then move onto destroying the Factory. Come in slow and fire
all you have at the Factory, it may take several passes to take out all the
buildings. In one building there is an AT-ST, destroy him and exit this area.

If you want you can now take out the AT-AT that is at the end of the canyon
(from where you came out when you started). Fly up and take out the Turbolaser
Turret up on the hill. Now fly over to the next area (it is much the same as
this one, with landing pad and buildings underneath), once there fly up to and
destroy the Missile Turret. Now swing back around and destroy all the
buildings here until you un-cover the weapons bonus. Grab it then head down
the canyon and into the AT-ST base. Flying down the canyon you will encounter
an AT-ST and a Turbolaser. Take out the Turbolaser from a distance then come
in slow to take out the AT-ST. Once inside the base go straight for the
Missile Turret, destroy it and then destroy the Turbolaser Turret. Come back
round for another pass. This time aim for the AT-ST in the middle of base, it
may be hard to see so make sure your of you target. Come in slow and let loose
a volley of blaster fire. Now go after everything here, you should have enough
kills for a gold medal so go straight for the main buildings. Once both
factories have been destroyed the mission ends.

Assault on Kile II
Mission Objectives
-Locate and Destroy the Sensor Array
-Locate and Destroy the Imperial Spaceport
-Locate and Destroy the Imperial Garrisons
Requirements for a Gold Medal
TIME - 6.00
ENEMIES DESTROYED - 65
ACCURACY - 60%
FRIENDLY SAVES - 0
BONUSES COLLECTED - 0
Mission Strategy

You will fly Y-Wings for this mission so you can use their bombs. Y-Wings are
slow and are usually not used for dog fights, though to even the Y-Wing out it
has heavy armour meaning it can withstand a lot of damage. Your Y-Wing isn't
really a match for the Tie Fighters and Interceptors patrolling this planet so
it is best not to engage them.

You start at the end of a deep canyon, fly straight and when you come to the
fork go right and keep going right to get to the Spaceport. On the way destroy
the Missile Turret to rid you of any danger there. Once at the Spaceport you
will notice it is guarded by 6 Turbolasers and 2 Missile Turrets. Bomb the
Missile Turrets and come in low and use your blasters on the Turbolasers.
After the ground defences have been destroyed gain some height and start
bombing the Spaceport. You need to destroy all the structures before moving on
(you will know when they are all destroyed because a small cutscene is
played).

Fly straight back the way you came and at the fork take a right and just
follow the canyon to come to the Imperial Garrisons, come in low and slow
using blasters take out the 2 Turbolaser Turrets. Now swing back around and
bomb the three Garrison buildings. Once they have been destroyed head on over
to the Sensor Array, it is opposite the Garrisons. Take out the Turbolasers
and the Missile Turrets. There will be Tie's after you now so act quickly.
Take out the Radar Dishes first then drop a bomb on the main building to
finish the mission.

To earn the gold medal don't fire aimlessly the accuracy level is high for the
gold in this level so be sure of your target. You also need to be fast so
don't muck about destroying the small Imperial Encampments, head straight for
your main targets.

Rescue on Kessel
Mission Objectives
-Locate and Disable the Hover Train
-Rescue Wedge Antilles
Requirements for a Gold Medal
TIME - 4.30
ENEMIES DESTROYED - 26
ACCURACY - 40%
FRIENDLY SAVES - 5
BONUSES COLLECTED - 0
Mission Strategy

Okay to finish this level and get a gold medal for we need to destroy
everything on this mission. Destroying everything and doing it inside the
allotted time is very difficult. When you start do head fro the hover train
yet, instead go back over the hills towards the convoy that was mentioned in
the cutscene. You will come to a canyon, destroy the Missile Turret and the
supply building. Follow the canyon and destroy the Turbolaser Turret and then
destroy the 3 vehicle convoy. You will then come to an open area with two huge
buildings, those are the prison buildings the hover train must not reach them.
They are guarded by a Missile and Turbolaser Turret, destroy the Missile
Turret then the Turbolaser Turret. Now head over the hill and destroy the 2
Turbolasers that you should see. You should see an AT-ST, a Missile Turret and
a Turbolaser Turret. Come at the AT-ST first, come in slow and let all your
blasters off at once and he should be history. Now destroy the Missile Turret
and the Turbolaser Turret.

Head up to the train and use your ion cannons to disable the cars housing the
Missile and Turbolaser Turrets (there should be 3 of them), now disable the
head of the train and nothing else, you still need to destroy the remaining
AT-STs, the Turbolasers, the 1 remaining Missile Turret, a Tie Interceptor and
a supply building. Once you have been told that the train is slowing down look
for a Missile Turret underneath a pylon. Destroy it and then fly back towards
the start and take out the couple of Turbolaser Turrets here. This leaves the
Tie, the Building and the remaining AT-STs. The building is just off from
where you start so destroy that first. There is a good chance that the Tie has
already been destroyed but just in case it can be found where you destroyed
the second AT-ST. Now all you have to do is destroy the remaining AT-STs and
then finish disabling the train. The remaining AT-STs can be found close to
the supply building you just destroyed.

Prisons of Kessel
Mission Objectives
-Protect and Escort Madines Shuttle
-Destroy the Power Generator
Requirements for a Gold Medal
TIME - 10.30
ENEMIES DESTROYED - 103
ACCURACY - 40%
FRIENDLY SAVES - 35
BONUSES COLLECTED - 1
Mission Strategy

The high kill count required for the gold medal is high, but let it intimidate
you it is easily accomplishable. You need to escort Madine's Landing Craft to
each Imperial Prison and liberate the Rebel Prisoners Of War. The Landing
Craft is very very tough so it can take a lot before being destroyed but keep
in mind that you are not so immune to Imperial attacks. Escort the Landing
Craft to the first Prison, first clear out any Missile or Turbolaser Turrets
then any ground defences like AT-STs, then take out any Ties patrolling the
base. At the first base you will be told to destroy the Shield Generator.
Follow your radar to get to it and fire all you have at it to destroy it (it
usually takes all your blaster fire and a couple of missile to take it out).
Once it has been destroyed head back to protect Madine's Landing Craft. Take
out the Ties here and then provide cover as they finish raiding the Prison.

Once they have returned to the landing craft head for the next prison, try and
get there before the landing craft does so that you can clear the area of any
Turbolaser or Missile Turrets. Once the craft lands a squadron of Tie Fighters
and Interceptors appear and begin attacking the Landing Craft. Don't go after
them just yet, 2 AT-STs are approaching the Landing Craft, take them out first
using 1 Proton Torpedo on each one. Now take care of those Ties. Once again
provide cover for Madine while he rescues the prisoners.

Repeat what you did before for the next Prison. Take out any Turbolasers and
Missile Turrets first then move onto the 4 oncoming AT-STs. Use your Torpedos
to stop them in their tracks. Now take out the many Ties that attack the
Landing Craft. Make sure to get the Missile Turret hiding up on top of the
mountain as this a Turret will really ruin your day if it isn't destroyed
quickly.

At the next it is much the same, just take out the Turbolasers first then take
out the AT-ST that comes in under the Imperial Landing Pad. Now all you have
to do is take out the Ties attacking the Landing Craft and you will be home in
time for supper.

To get the massive amount of kills needed for the gold you will need to
destroy everything that is Imperial this includes Bunkers, Probe Droids,
Buildings and anything else that isn't part of the Rebellion. You also need to
be accurate, do don't fire aimlessly. The weapons bonus is near the second
Prison hidden in a little valley up on top of a hill, it is inside the Bunker.
Take out the Missile Turret then the bunker to get it without being damaged.

CHAPTER 3
Battle Above Taloraan
Mission Objectives
-Locate and Destroy the Imperial Tibanna Gas Containers
-Avoid Civilian Casualties
Requirements for a Gold Medal
TIME - 7.00
ENEMIES DESTROYED - 90
ACCURACY - 70%
FRIENDLY SAVES - 1
BONUSES COLLECTED - 1
Mission Strategy

You start off the mission already close to the first platform. This platform
is holding 6 Imperial Gas Containers on the lower part of the platform and 3
on the upper part of the platform. Come in slow and take these and be sure not
to destroy any civilian containers. Now follow your radar to get to the next
platform. This platform holds 4 Imperial Container, but they are placed behind
civilian containers, so gain some height before taking these out or you may
destroy a civilian container in the process.

At the next platform two Turbolaser Turrets sit upon each platform. One
platform is lower down than the other and you should attack that one first.
Come in slow and take out the first Turbolaser with blaster fire then fire a
concussion missile at the one behind it. After those 2 Turbolasers have been
destroyed head up and take out the 2 Turbolasers up on the next platform the
same way. Once the Turbolasers are gone start taking out the Imperial Tibanna
Containers. Follow your radar to the next platform. The next platform has 5
Turbolaser Turrets inside of a ring of Imperial Gas Containers. Gain some
height and and take them out using blasters and concussion missiles. They may
take one or more swoops to take them all out. When the Turbolasers have been
destroyed destroy all the Imperial Containers and then follow your radar to
the next set of platforms.

The next 2 platforms have 3 Turbolasers each. They are hidden behind an
Imperial Container and a civilian canister, you will have to be careful when
taking out these Turrets. Come in slowly from one side so that the Turret is
visible then fire a concussion missile at it (if you don't have any missiles
left use your blasters). Do this with all the Turrets and this way they
shouldn't destroy any civilian containers. Once all the Turrets have been
destroyed take out the Containers. Now follow your radar to the last platform,
which is located just off from the cloud city of Taloraan. This platform holds
3 Missile Turrets, take them out using your missiles or blaster fire. These
Turrets need to be taken out quickly or they will destroy you.

To get the gold medal for this mission you will need a high level of accuracy
so don't go ballistic with your shooting. You will also need a high kill count
so after the Containers have been destroyed at one platform chase down the
Ties for the extra kills. The bonus is located inside the cloud city. It is in
the middle and can't be too hard to miss, you will need this if you want the
gold.

Escape From Fest
Mission Objectives
-Locate Captured AT-PTs
-Free the AT-PTs
-Escort the AT-PTs to the Landing Zone
-Destroy Imperial Research Facility
Requirements for a Gold Medal
TIME - 6.30
ENEMIES DESTROYED - 65
ACCURACY - 25%
FRIENDLY SAVES - 7
BONUSES COLLECTED - 1
Mission Strategy

I found this mission to be rather difficult because you are under a lot of
pressure to get the AT-PTs out before the AT-ATs destroy them, but this guide
will help you pass this mission with flying colours. Okay you will start the
mission with your squadron coming over a small hill, just ahead you will see
another hill with 3 Turbolaser Turrets on it, ignore these and keep going
straight ahead towards the gate it is best to take out the Turbolaser near the
gate as well. Don't destroy the gate yet!

Keep going onto the plain ahead. This is where the AT-PTs are, they are also
under attack by an AT-AT. Get in close to the AT-AT and use your tow cable to
bring him down (for this mission you need to circle him with the tow cable and
top speed, you should be able to do this by now).

Now head back towards the gate but don't destroy it yet, just keep going and
you will come to a Shield Generator guarded by 2 Turbolasers and an AT-AT.
Take out the Turbolasers and then use your tow cable on the AT-AT. Once again
you need to be at top speed if you want the AT-PTs to survive. After this
AT-AT is down the gate gets destroyed by either AT-PTs or your fellow wingmen.
Now head back to where you started and take out the AT-AT in the small valley.
You need to hurry because 6 Tank Droids are about to move into the valley to
stop the AT-PTs. After the AT-AT is down circle back down towards the valley
and with all your brakes on let loose at the 3 Tank Droids coming down the
embankment. You should be able take out all 3 in just one pass. Now go down
the other side and do the same to the 3 Tank Droids here. After they have been
destroyed the AT-PTs should be about half-way down the valley of just about to
turn the corner and head down towards the Landing Ship.

By now another 6 Tank Droids have arrived so take them out in the same way you
took out the others. While you are attacking the Tank Droids 2 Tie Bombers
will have also arrived and begin to bomb the AT-PTs, it is imperative that you
destroy the Bombers before they get a chance to bomb the AT-PTs because the
AT-PTs can be destroy in only 2 bombing runs. So every time you see some
Bombers leave what you are doing and take them out instead. Take out the 2
Bombers then go back to destroying the Tank Droids. After the last 6 Tank
Droids are gone that is all for the Tank Droids all that is left is another 4
Tie Bombers to come and try and destroy the AT-PTs. They will come in pairs,
one from behind and one from the front. So as soon as you see the blips go
after them and hunt them down. Once the AT-PTs are at the Landing Zone safely
you then need to destroy the Imperial Research Facility.

Head back over to the Shield Generator and blow it up. Now head back to where
you first found the AT-PTs, head left to get to the Research Facility. It is
guarded by Missile and Turbolaser Turrets. Take out the Missile Turret first
then the Turbolaser Turrets. Now take out the Facility by coming in slow and
firing all you have at it.

You need to be quick for this mission, you don't have much time to finish the
mission if you want the gold. This leaves little room for mistakes so think
before you leap. You also need a lot of kills one way is just to annihilate
everything but another way is to blow up a bunker then come in slow and take
out the Storm Troopers. Accuracy is also important so don't fire aimlessly.
The bonus is located near the Research Facility just fly high at to your right
and you will see a bunker guarded by 2 Turbolasers. Take out the Turbolasers
and then take out the bunker to reveal the bonus.

Blockade on Chandrilla
Mission Objectives
- Escort and Protect the Supply Train
- Protect the City
Requirements for a Gold Medal
TIME - 5.45
ENEMIES DESTROYED - 35
ACCURACY - 20%
FRIENDLY SAVES - 4
BONUSES COLLECTED - 1
Mission Strategy

The hardest part to this mission is getting the required friendly saves for
the gold medal. When you start stick close to the Train and don't go too far
away from it for a long time. Bombers and their Tie Interceptor escorts come
thick and fast so you need to be on your toes. As soon as some Bombers appear
they should be your first targets, then the Interceptors because they will
damage the Train as well. Watch out for out for Bombers coming from behind
you, with them coming behind you it is best to stay close to the end of the
Train.

As you get towards to the city Moff Seerdon will tell you to surrender or he
will shoot you down, some threat! You still have to protect the Train for a
little longer so keep following it till it stops. While it is moving to its
landing position more Bombers will come and try and destroy it. Make sure you
destroy them first. Now follow your radar and take out the Bombers bombing the
city.

After you have destroyed the couple of Bombers you will be instructed to
protect the 3 Evacuation Shuttles. Head there immediately because the first 3
of 6 AT-STs are already attacking the Shuttles. Use one Torpedo/Missile on
each and some blaster fire if necessary. Once those 3 have been destroyed the
next 3 appear, destroy them in the same manner as you did the last 3. Now as
the Evacuation Shuttles lift off you must stay close to them because some Tie
Interceptors will be after them as soon as they begin to leave the Planet.
When they appear try and destroy all 3 before they get too close to the
Shuttles.

Once the Shuttles have gone you will get a report telling you that Tie
Interceptors and Tie Bombers are on their way. To finish the mission you must
destroy the remaining 3 Bombers. They will begin their Bombardments of the
city quite quickly so follow your radar to get to them and shoot them down.

To earn the gold medal you must protect the Supply Train, all of its cars must
survive in order to get the required friendly saves for the mission. Accuracy
is also important so don't fire aimlessly. To get the Bonus, after the
Shuttles are gone you have about 30/60 seconds of spare time. In this time you
should head left and follow the outer edge of the city and you will find a
lone AT-ST attacking 3 towers. Destroy the AT-ST to reveal the Bonus.

Raid on Sullust
Mission Objectives
-Destroy the Transmitters
-Destroy the Capacitor
Requirements for a Gold Medal
TIME - 4.00
ENEMIES DESTROYED - 40
ACCURACY - 75%
FRIENDLY SAVES - 0
BONUSES COLLECTED - 1
Mission Strategy

This mission can be quite axing but this should help you pass it with no
trouble. Your mission is to destroy the Transmitters making a shield around a
Imperial Capacitor. This missions location is inside a volcano. First you need
to find the Transmitters (there everywhere and your radar will lead you to
them), then once you have destroyed them the shield will drop and then all you
have to do is destroy the capacitor. Easy huh, think again! All throughout
this mission there are lots of Turbolaser Turrets and plenty of Missile
Turrets. The Turbolasers are easy to avoid and can be destroyed easily, the
Transmitters are the same, but the Missile Turrets are much harder. As soon as
you see a Missile Turret it should be destroyed.

The key to this mission is to be fast, hopping form Transmitter to the next.
Just approach the Transmitter coming in low and fast then at the last minute
shoot up and drop a bomb on it. Now do this to all the Transmitters and you
should be alright. Try and take out all the Missile Turrets you see and the
occasional Turbolaser for the added kills. Using you blasters on the Missile
Turrets is a good approach especially if you come in low while you are doing
so this being that the Missiles it has fired will have a better chance of
missing you.

When all the Transmitters have been destroyed you will have to head back to
the Capacitor. Once there get a good view of it, see those white canisters you
need to destroy them all for the Capacitor to explode. Get some distance form
the Capacitor and then slam on your brakes and fire at the mess of the white
canisters. This way you should inflict as much damage as possible in a single
pass. You will need to avoid the Tie Interceptors that have now arrived they
are pretty harmless to your Y-Wing though. Just destroy the rest of the
canisters to finish the mission.

To get the gold you will need to be fast. This mission doesn't give much slack
in the way of time. So don't take your finger off the accelerate key. Also you
will need to be very accurate! The accuracy level for this mission is
extremely high so think before you shoot! The Bonus is located at the large
Imperial Factory Building. It is along the volcano wall and can't be missed.
Destroy it to reveal the bonus.

Moff Seerdon's Revenge
Mission Objectives
-Protect the Bacta Containers
-Avoid Civilian Casualties
-Destroy all Imperial Bunkers, Fighters and Bombers
-Locate and Eliminate Moff Seerdon
Requirements for a Gold Medal
TIME - 6.00
ENEMIES DESTROYED - 45
ACCURACY - 30%
FRIENDLY SAVES - 55
BONUSES COLLECTED - 1
Mission Strategy

Moff Seerdon is t it again and it is about time you showed him who is boss
around the galaxy. When you start off head straight ahead and destroy the
Missile Turret. With this mission there isn't a set path to follow instead you
move from one Imperial Unit to another eliminating them all. After you have
destroyed the Missile Turret head right and into the canyon. Destroy the AT-ST
with a Torpedo/Missile and then take out the Turbolaser Turret then the
Missile Turret. Head back through the canyon destroying the Imperial Bunkers
and the Missile Turret at the end of the canyon. To the right of the canyon is
a large with some Bacta Containers on it, these are being bombed by some Tie
Bombers. Head up there and destroy, then head straight ahead to the next group
of Bacta Containers being bombed. Destroy the Bomber and be watchful of Tie
Interceptors coming up from behind.

From here head right and follow the edge of the map until you come to an area
with a couple of Rebel Bacta Containers, 2 AT-STs, some Imperial Bunkers and 2
Turbolaser Turrets. Come in high to avoid any Bacta losses and take out the
AT-ST closest to you with a Torpedo/Missile and the Turbolasers in only one
pass. Now swing back around and take care of the last AT-ST and the Bunkers.
From here head to your left and you will come to another canyon that starts
with an Imperial Bunker near some Civilian Buildings. Destroy this bunker
(this Bunker also contains the Bonus for this mission) and continue down the
canyon. Destroy anything Imperial along here and be sure to take out the AT-ST
quickly as well as the Missile Turret. Now just follow your radar to anything
that is left and destroy it.

When everything that is Imperial has been destroyed (this includes fighters as
well) Moff Seerdon will make his entrance. Moff Seerdon's ship is heavily
armoured and has a good armament onboard it. Your best approach is to come in
slow and fire your blasters until you are close enough to launch some
Torpedos/Missiles at him. Then swing away and close you S-Foils to get further
away, then repeat. It will probably only take 1 or 2 passes to destroy him and
once he has been eliminated the mission ends.

You will need to be extra fast if you want the gold. Guess what, accuracy is
important as well so don't fire aimlessly. You need to protect the Bacta
Containers so try not to draw any Imperial fire to them. Also take out the
Bombers first, because they do the most damage to the Containers. When you
star if you veer a hard left you will come to a canyon, destroy the Imperial
Bunker here to reveal the Bonus.

CHAPTER 4
The Battle of Calamari
Mission Objectives
-Destroy the World Devastators
-Protect the City
Requirements for a Gold Medal
TIME - 5.30
ENEMIES DESTROYED - 24
ACCURACY - 25%
FRIENDLY SAVES - 87
BONUSES COLLECTED - 0
Mission Strategy

Here the final mission! The Battle of Calamari. Imperial World Devastators
have invaded the city and it is your job to stop them! First a Devastator is a
large rectangular ship that is propelled by four powerful leg jets. On top of
Devastator is a Shield Generator that projects a shield around the Devastator
and this is protected by 4 Turbolasers and 4 Missile Turrets. Also at the back
of the Devastator is a large vacuum that sucks anything into it, including
yourself so be careful.

When you start head straight for the first Devastator (use your radar to find
it), gain some altitude and find the Shield Generator. Head for it and with
rapid fire engaged fire your blasters at it. It may take a couple of passes to
destroy it. After it has been destroyed get some distance from the Devastator
and take out the 2 back or front leg jets. Ahh, that's one down. Now you have
to contend with the Advanced Tie Fighters attacking the city. These improved
Tie Fighters are difficult to hit because they are very manoeuvrable. Usually
a Cluster Seeker Missile will do the trick (these Cluster Seeker Missiles can
be found as a Bonus in Moff Seerdon's Revenge) to clear out any Adv Ties.

Head to the next Devastator (get there faster by using your turbo). Do the
same to this Devastator like you did to the last Devastator. Once it has been
Immobilised take out any Adv Ties attacking the city. Once again Seeker
Cluster Missiles are your friends. If you don't have any Seeker Cluster
Missiles you will have to slow right down, get an Adv Tie in your sights and
let loose a barrage of rapid fire blaster fire.

Head to the next Devastator using your turbo to get there quicker. Take this
Devastator out using the same technique that you used before on the last 2
Devastators. When it has been destroyed you will need to destroy any remaining
Adv Ties to complete the mission.

The hardest part to this mission is saving the required 87 Friendly Saves
needed for the Gold Medal. You will have to make sure that the Devastators
don't destroy anything and to make sure the Adv Ties don't destroy too much of
the city they are attacking. The next hardest part is finishing the mission in
the allotted time. To do this you will have to destroy a Devastator in about a
minute. So don't muck about when tackling these foes. The real key to this
mission is practice, practice, practice!

THE SECRET MISSIONS AND CRAFT

This is a list of the secret missions found within Rogue Squadron. There are 4
in all and one can only be accessed by cheating. This will outline what you
have to do in the mission and a very vague way of finishing it (I want you to
see if you can beat the secret missions without the help of this guide).
Beggar's Canyon

To unlock the Beggar's Canyon mission you need to finish all the missions with
at least a Bronze Medal. The Beggar's Canyon mission is simply a race against
your friends, Dak, Zev and Wedge through Beggar's Canyon. There are 3 routes,
ranging from easy to difficult. Each one of your friends will pick a route to
follow then you must pick a route and beat whoever else is flying along the
route you chose and beat him. To earn the Gold Medal you must beat Wedge
through the hardest route. To beat him you must learn the route so that you
know where all the turns are. The way to beating this mission is simply
practice, practice, practice!
The Death Star Trench Run

To unlock The Death Star Trench Run you must finish all the missions with at
least a Silver Medal. The Trench Run is just the same as in the first Star
Wars(TM) Movie. You must race down the Trench of the Death Star and make your
way to the end where you will launch a Seeker Proton Torpedo own the shaft to
destroy the Death Star. To earn the gold you must be fast and destroy as many
Turbolaser Turrets as you go. Just like the Beggar's Canyon mission the key to
winning this mission is simply practice, practice, practice!
The Battle of Hoth

To unlock the Battle of Hoth secret level you need to complete all the
missions with at least a Gold Medal. The Battle of Hoth mission is just like
the one from the second Star Wars(TM) Movie, The Empire Strikes Back. You must
first destroy a group of Probe Droids, then race down a snowy canyon to rescue
a downed pilot, then finally you must stop an attack on the Shield Generator
by 3 AT-STs. You must be fast because you do not have time to muck about.
AT-ST Shoot-em-up Level
-NINTENDO VERSION-

To unlock this secret mission you must enter the password "CHICKEN" at the
password entry screen. You will then be whisked away to a mission on a flat
green plain with several Imperial and Rebel Structures. You are now also in
control of a AT-ST! Wreak havoc upon this world with your newly found AT-ST!
-PC VERSION-

With the PC Version of Rogue Squadron when you enter the password "CHICKEN" it
does nothing, well almost nothing. After the password has been accepted go
ahead and start a mission, pick your ship and begin the mission. The mission
will begin with only one change, you are an AT-ST! You must now complete the
mission with an AT-ST. It is almost impossible but running around with an
AT-ST is fun!
The Millennium Falcon

The Millennium Falcon becomes available after you have completed all the Rogue
Squadron Missions (including the secret missions) with at least a Silver
Medal. The Millennium Falcon can be used for most missions except those that
need a certain craft to complete the mission (like in Raid on Sullust where
you need a Y-Wing). The Millennium Falcon is fast and has good armour and it
possesses a auto-locking blaster cannon that is pretty deadly.
The Tie Interceptor

The Tie Interceptor becomes available after you have completed all Rogue
Squadrons missions (including the secret missions) with at least a Gold Medal.
Like the Falcon the Interceptor can be used for most missions. The Interceptor
is fast and manoeuvrable but its blasters are weak and it lacks the shield the
X-Wing has.
