--- Walk Through for Mission 1 ---
Rookies in Space
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Predator
This is the best ship for this mission. Its speed and agility make up for its
low
armor and shields. Another thing good about this ship is the option to have
Blind
Fire, which automatically aims at the target. The missile configuration should
be
all bandits. Bandits are good for this mission because of their short locking
time and speed.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: You get ejected out of the ANS Reliant. Just wait there until the
jump icon appears. Press the jump button to initiate.

After the jump, you should see some red circles in your screen. Fly through them
to match speed with the convoy. An enemy ship will appear behind you and kill
one
of your team mates. Turn around and blast it. If it cloaks then you just keep it
in your sights to follow it until it comes out of cloak. During its cloaking
sequence, it turns transparent with a blue glow. Don't worry, when they are
cloaked, you can't shoot them and they can't shoot you.

A new wave of enemy fighters will soon appear. Destroy them all using Blind Fire
and the match speed button.

Another wave of fighters will appear. Get the torpedo launcher targeted right
away and afterburn toward it. If it launches topredoes, destroy them first
before
anything else. All you have to do is destroy all four torpedoes that it launches
and it will jump away. Turn right around and shoot down the rest of the enemy
fighters.

Float there until a jump icon appears then jump. You will appear near the
Alliance space station, Fort Baxter. Float there and wait for them to finish
talking. Then, the ANS Reliant will show up. Initiate the landing procedure and
have a nice day!

--- Walk Through for Mission 2 ---
Capship Anyone?
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Predator
This is the best ship for this mission. Load it up with 2 screamer pods and the
rest with bandits. Also, maybe another fuel cell might come in handy, too.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: The jump icon will appear and so you, obviously, jump. You will
meet with Tanner, the leader of the Pumas. You will recieve a distress call from
General Briggs. Wait for the jump icon and jump.

If you are quick enough at this point, you can destroy one enemy fighter before
they all jump away. A couple of enemy fighters and a capital ship will jump into
your area. Face the capital ship, slow down if you need to, and attack the
capital ship with missiles and lasers until it gets blown up. Don't worry, it
has
low armor and can be quickly destroyed.

Kill all the fighters and try to protect the Nanny ship from enemy fire. After
all the fighters are destroyed, you will be allowed to jump.

When you reach the convoy, slow down and watch for those red circles to appear.
They appear at the back of the big capital ship. Fly to them to match speed with
the convoy. You will then get a distress call. The Pumas will then go to the
distress call, leaving you and your squad alone with the convoy.

Enemy ships will appear from behind you. Kill as much ships as you can before
the
torpedo launcher appears. When it does appear, afterburn to it and shoot any
torpedoes along the way. Destroy the launcher and the rest of the enemy
fighters.
After that, the Pumas will call to you for assistance. You jump to their
position.

You will see one enemy capital ship. Try to stay out of its range. Kill all the
enemy fighters. The faster you kill them all, the better. Leave the capital ship
alone, it will be blown up later.

Another enemy capital ship will appear with plenty of fighters for you to
destroy. Kill all the fighters, and remember, stay away from both capital ships
or you will quickly die. If you get a message saying that you have a missile on
your tail, use your counter-measures.

After all the fighters are gone, sit there and watch as the Alliance capital
ship, ANS Yamato, comes and rocks both of the smaller, crappier enemy capital
ships. The ANS Yamato is best capital ship of the Alliance.

Jump to the ANS Reliant and ask for permission to land.

--- Walk Through for Mission 3 ---
A Jump to Venus
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Predator
I recommend this ship for this mission because it is still the easiest ship for
newbies to use. I would recommend arming this ship with two screamer pods, two
bandits and one jackhammer. The blind fire system is extremely useful in this
mission.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: Obviously, you will first need to jump. Then you will jump to
where
the "Great" Klaus Steiner is. He is flying one of the most deadly and advanced
fighter ships in the game, the Wolverine. After you get to know him better, jump
to where the action is.

When you finish the jump, you will see an Alliance capital ship under attack by
enemy forces. My suggestion here is to fly straight and kill as many as you can
as they fly straight toward you. When they break off, chase and destroy them,
protecting the capital ship at the same time. After they are all scrapped,
listen
to what Steiner is saying and you will notice something wrong. How DID the
Coalition get inside and past the Alliance's detection? You will soon find out.

After the jump, you will see space junk left over from the explosion of the
Alliance's capital ship. You will now have to find the flight recorder. For some
reason, you have to find it. It is not possible for the computer to find it.

The flight recorder is almost dead ahead of your ship. But don't dive into the
junk yet. There are mines hidden everywhere. Use your targeting to target the
mines and destroy them from a safe distance. Destroy them all, then go straight
and bump into the flight recorder to download the info from it.

After the download is complete, a warphole will open. Enemy capital ships will
come out of the whole but you will be sucked in. You get sucked right in the
middle of a massive Coalition fleet. You will lose control for a few seconds.

When you get control of your ship back, immediately turn and find where the
energy reactor is. The energy reactor supplies power to the warp gate. It looks
like a spinning wheel. You must first destroy the armor plating, and then attack
the inside. Keep on firing until the reactor is destroyed. Then immediately fly
through the warp gate. Try to get through the side opposite from the floating
circle thingy.

You will be sucked in again right back to the place where you found the flight
recorder. You will get the message ordering you to get to the enemy science
vessel. Destroy the engines. Be careful not to blowup the ship. Destroy the
remaining fighters and jump back to base to land.

At the end of the mission, you will most likely be promoted to 1st Lieutenant.
Congratulations!

--- Walk Through for Mission 4 ---
Protect the Condors
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Coyote
This is a new ship you get to fly now because you got promoted. From now on,
this
is the best ship for newbies to fly. It's everything you need: better speed,
better shields and better weapons. The missile setup I recommend is three
bandits, two screamer pods and two jackhammers.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: After you do your first jump, you will meet with Condor. Then,
Allied Patrol will jump in saying they detected something wrong in your area.
That's their problem so we better leave them alone, for now.

You will jump again and find an empty area. But it will soon be full of action
as
some enemy fighters appear. They are pretty far so you have to afterburn all the
way there to get them. Don't worry about these new fighters, they are incredibly
easy. Destroy all of them and Condor will jump to your area to dump their load.

More enemies will jump in, kill them and protect the Condor from attacks. After
you get them all, Condor should almost be done deploying their cargo. You will
then get a distress call from the Allied Patrol guys you met earlier. Jump to
help them.

You will see enemy fighters attacking the defenseless Alliance capital ships.
Rush in and save them. Do not try to get Petrov because you cannot. Attack the
fighters. Eventually, Petrov will jump out along with his buddies.

One torpedo launcher will appear. Afterburn to its position and blast it and any
torpedos along they way. If you are fast enough, you should be able to kill it
with it launching only one torpedo.

The Nanny ship will come in to rescue the Allied Patrol. After the Nanny rescues
them, you will be cleared to jump to base and land.

--- Walk Through for Mission 5 ---
A Friend Goes Missing
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Coyote
I recommend packing 2 screamer pods, 3 bandits and 2 jackhammers. I would use
the
screamers for knocking out the shield generators and engines of the capital
ships. There are many capital ships in this mission so choose carefully on what
missile to use.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: Right after you get dropped from the ANS Reliant, you will get a
distress call from the Cobras. Seems even the professionals need help sometimes.
You immediately jump to their position.

After the jumping sequence, a Coalition capital ship will appear in your screen.
Take out its engines to immobilize it. After you trash their engines, the
Rippers
will come in and finish off the capital ship since only the Rippers can do
any "real" damageto it. Blast the remaining fighters. When they are all dead,
you
will jump again.

After the jump, you will see 2 small capital ships and one big capital ship.
Afterburn to the big capital ship and take out their shield generators. Now,
since the shields are down, take out its engines and take out the remaining
enemy
forces. Now, it is time for the convoy to cry for help. Jump to their position.

Now for the hard part: The convoy is under heavy enemy fire. You need to quickly
jump into the action and take out all the fighters. Protect the Mammoths (the
convoy). When the fighters are destroyed, you will have to go into escort mode.
Just fly through the red circles and you will automatically match speed with the
convoy. After a few seconds of silence, a huge group of enemies will appear,
along with some torpedo launchers.

Get as close as you can to the torpedo launchers before they fire. When they do
fire, take out all of the torpedos - there are a lot of them. After all the
torpedoes are launched, the launchers will jump away. Just terminate the rest of
the enemy fighters and this mission will be finally complete.

--- Walk Through for Mission 6 ---
Protection of the Ulysses
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Coyote
I used 2 fuels tanks and 5 bandits for this mission. The fuel tanks will come in
handy when you have to destroy the Torpedoes. The bandits are good for getting
the torpedoes if you cannot reach them in time.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: Since Viper is now missing in action; Bandit has been assigned to
squad leader.

After your first jump, you will encounter the Ulysses and some other smaller
capital ships. After you have a little chitchat with them, a couple of torpedo
launchers will appear with some fighter escorts. Fly close to the Ulysses and
wait for the first Torpedo launch. Now, all you have to do is jump around the
area and blasting all the torps launched. It is easier to destroy the torps than
the torp launchers. When you destroy all of the torps, the enemies will retreat
and jump out. You will, then, have to jump with the Ulysses to Fort Baxter.

After you reach Fort Baxter, you will receive a new assignment. You are now
supposed to protect a freighter from Coalition attack. You jump to their
position.

When you reach their position, it would be too late. The freighter is destroyed
already. But since the data inside the ship is still useful and intact, you have
to protect the Rippers, which will extract the data. After the Rippers are done
extracting, jump back to the ANS Reliant and land.

At the end of this mission, you not only get promoted to Flight Lieutenant, but,
if you did good enough, you would have received the Silver Cluster. A very big
medal. I think you only get this if you prevent the Ulysses from getting hit by
the torps.

--- Walk Through for Mission 7 ---
Good Bye, Ramases
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Coyote
Even though you have been promoted, the best ship for newbies to fly is still
the
Coyote. I would arm it with 2 screamer pods, 2 bandits, 2 jackhammers, and 1
afterburner fuel tank.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: Right after you launch from the ANS Reliant, you will get a
message
saying that your mission objectives have been changed. The Ramases is attacking
Fort Baxter. Your new assignment is to protect Fort Baxter from enemy fire. Jump
to their position.

When you reach their position, you will witness the destruction of Fort Baxter.
Enemy fighters will be launched from the Ramases. Destroy the fighters. Protect
the lifeboats that were launched when Fort Baxter was exploding. The Ramases
will
jump away. After you defeat the fighters, jump to Ramases' position.

Destroy the enemy fighters. Then, when told to, destroy the Ramases' shield
generators. Get the engines after. Gamma will jump in. Protect Gamma from enemy
fire until they nuke the Ramases. After the Ramases is gone, destroy the
remaining fighters. Land.

If you were successful in this mission, you will receive the Alliance Defense
Forces Mobilization Medal.

--- Walk Through for Mission 8 ---
Unexpected Company
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Coyote
The best load-out for missiles would be 2 fuel tanks, 2 bandits, 2 screamer pods
and 1 jackhammer. Your fuel tanks will come in handy when you have to whip
around
the battle area.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: Right after you get dropped from the ANS Reliant, a warp hole will
open and an enemy capital ship will come through. Fighters will launch from the
capital ship. Kill the fighters. After a moment of fighter killing, some torpedo
launchers will jump in. Shoot down all of the torpedoes. The less hits the
Reliant gets, the better. It is best when you fly around the Reliant and wait
for
the torpedoes to come into range.

After all the torpedoes are launched and destroyed, the launchers will run away.
Now, focus your fire on the capital ship. Shoot its shield generators and then
its engines. After that, shoot all of the turrets. Gamma squadron will come in
to
blow away the defenseless capital ship. Protect Gamma from enemy fire. After the
capital ship is gone, shoot down the rest of the enemy fighters, jump and land.

--- Walk Through for Mission 9 ---
Traitors
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Coyote
When I played this mission, I used 2 screamer pods, 3 bandits, 1 jackhammer and
1
fuel tank.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: After your initial jump, you will come to a big battle. Shoot down
the fighters flying to you. Keep destroying them until Enriquez comes to help,
you can then destroy the escorts around the capital ship. After both escorts are
gone, shoot the shield generators and engines on the capital ship. Then, take
out
the turrets. The boarding ship will come in after all the turrets are gone.
Defend it from enemy fire. After the boarding ship is finished, destroy the
capital ship.

After the capital ship is gone, Captain Foster will tell you to help them out
with the carrier. Once again, shoot the shields and engines. Move away from the
carrier because it's gonna get nuked. Destroy the remaining fighters and
Kurgens.
When they are all scrapped, you will get a distress call from Stahl. Jump to his
position.

When you get there, you will see the Cobras. They are traitors. They betrayed
the
Alliance. After you dispose of most of the Cobras, they will open a small warp
gate to retreat. The ANS Reliant will jump in. Land.

If you have played this mission good enough, you will be promoted to Captain.
You
just basically get 1 more ship to fly, the Tempest.

--- Walk Through for Mission 10 ---
Asteroid Annihilation
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Coyote
3 bandits, 1 screamer pod, 1 fuel tank, and 2 jackhammers will be sufficient for
this mission. Don't waste your jackhammers in this mission. Use them only for
the
asteroid's destruction. I recommend 2 jackhammers because you'll still have one
more to use if you waste one accidentally.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: After the jump, you will come across a group of enemy convoy. You
must quickly dispose of the 2 fighters or they will jump away and call in
reinforcements. After both fighters are gone, blow up the Kurgens. A Nanny is
called in. Remember, it does not repair your hull; it just refills your
supplies.
You will have to jump to rendezvous will the Nanny.

After you jump to where you are supposed to meet with the Nanny, you find that
it
is not there. You squad leader contacts the Nanny and finds out the there are
enemies approaching. Fight off the fighters. Protect Gamma. If you are fast and
good enough, you will be able to save both Gamma wings. Once all the fighters
are
dead, the Nanny will jump in to load you up. Fly into the red circles to
automatically go into the ship. After you launch from the Nanny, jump.

You will come to the Asteroid. It is surrounded by 4-5 Kurgens. Afterburn to the
Asteroid. When you come to about 80 kilometers from the Comms Tower, start
shooting your lasers. After its gone, go for the turrets that are around the
dish. After all the turrets around the dish are gone, Gamma will start to fly
in.
Protect Gamma. Try to blow up as many Kurgens as you can to prevent them from
shooting Gamma.

After the dish has been scrapped. You have to blow open the vent hatch. After
the
hatch has been destroyed, fly and stop near the red circles. Arm your jackhammer
missile, wait for the lock and FIRE. Watch as the Asteroid beautifully blows up.
It's a Kodak moment. Jump and land.

--- Walk Through for Mission 11 ---
The Czar
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Coyote
The best missile load out for this mission would be 2 bandits, 2 fuel tanks, and
3 jackhammers. The minimum requirement for this mission is actually just 2
jackhammers but I recommend an extra one just in case you fire one accidentally.
The fuel tanks are extremely useful in this mission where you have to quickly
jump around to destroy the satellites.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: After you warp, the Czar will come into view. As you can see, the
Czar is massive, and will be a pain in the butt in future missions if not
destroyed. Right at the start, afterburn to the satellites and destroy them all.
After all the satellites are gone, Klaus Steiner and the boarding ship will join
the party. Protect the boarding ship from fire. Blow up the Kurgens and the
fighters.

After the boarding ship is finished, Gamma will come and blow the Czar's shield
generators. This will enable you to easily blow up the Czar. Fly to the vent.
Use
your lasers to blow open the vent. After the vent is gone, use one of your
jackhammers to blow open the hatch. Then, launch another jackhammer up the
Czar's
rear. Warp back to the Reliant and land.

After this mission is complete, your squadron's name will be changed from the
45th Volunteers to the 45th Flying Tigers. Named after a World War 2 fighter
squadron.

If successful in this mission, you will receive the Black Eagle medal for great
bravery and the Long Range Forces Commendation medal.

--- Walk Through for Mission 12 ---
Stealing from the Stalag
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Coyote
Arm your Coyote with 2 raptor pods, 2 fuel tanks, 2 vagabonds and 1 jackhammer.
I
like the vagabonds because of their fast locking time and destructive force. The
raptors are good because two missiles launched from the raptor pod can easily
catch up with any fighter and blow them up.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: Jump to go meet with the Ronin. The Ronin will jump out and
distract the fighters. You jump and will come to the Stalag. Afterburn to the
Stalag. Fighters will come out. Destroy them all. Then, destroy the turrets
around the vent. Blow open the hatch and go inside the Stalag.

Inside, there will be turrets, destroy them all. After the turrets are gone, fly
toward the turrets. Make it so that you are facing the fuel cells and the exit.
This way, you will have a faster way of getting out. Wait until you get the
message saying that the Rippers are clear and that you have permission to shoot
the cells. Hit the cells a few times you're your lasers until you get another
message telling you get out, fast. Immediately afterburn out. The faster, the
better because the explosion does considerable damage to your ship.

After you get out, the enemy fighters, which were distracted by the Ronin, will
be coming your way. Kill them. Don't let the Rippers get hit. Jump and escort
the
Rippers to Fort Carter. Another group of fighters will jump in to attack. Once
again, kill them. Protect the Rippers. Jump to the Reliant and land.

--- Walk Through for Mission 13 ---
Attack of the Traitors
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Coyote
Arm the Coyote with 4 vagabonds, 1 fuel tank and 2 raptor pods. I love the
raptors. Launch 2 of them and it will inflict heavy damage your target, if not
destroy it. Vagabonds are great also. One vagabond will destroy most enemy
fighters.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: After your jump, enemy fighters will jump in also. Kill them all
while keeping Gamma safe. After they are all gone, another wave of fighters will
come. After they are blown up, jump. You will see Crimson Sky decimated. Warp.

When you are finished warping sequence, a space station will appear. Fly to it.
After the station becomes online, your ship will automatically target the ion
cannon. Blow it up. Some fighters from Cobra (traitors) will come. Destroy them.
After they are all gone, Colonel McGann will jump in. He's a big traitor. So,
blow him up first. He's actually an easy kill. He flies just like any other
enemy
fighter.

After the Cobras are nothing but scrap, Viper will jump in. Surprised? He hasn't
jumped in to help you, but to kill you. Get Viper first. He flies weird. He
seems
to squirm around so your Blind Fire won't hit him as much. Don't worry,
eventually, he will stop squirming and you can kill him easily. Get the rest of
Viper's squad.

Now, since everything is clear, Gamma will come in to nuke the station. Warp
back
to the Reliant and land.

After this mission, you will be promoted to Flight Captain. Being at this rank
gives you access to ships such as the Patriot.

--- Walk Through for Mission 14 ---
Warp Gate Raid
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Patriot
In my opinion, the Patriots are much better than the Coyotes. Though it has less
agility than the Coyote, it makes it up by having better shields and weaponry. I
recommend arming the Patriot with 4 vagabonds and 1 raptor pod for this mission.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: After your initial warping sequence, you will come to an empty
area. This is where Gamma will stay until you clear the turrets on the facility.
Jump now and leave Gamma alone.

After your jump you will see the Advanced Warp Gate and the facility. Nearby,
there are 2 Kurgens. Destroy them both. Next, fly to the warp gate and shoot all
4 power generators. You will not be able to destroy them but you can lower their
life so you can destroy them later. Now, fly to the facility beside the warp
gate
and blow up the turrets until you get a message telling you to stop.

Gamma will then jump in. You have to immediately afterburn to them because a
Kurgen will jump in from behind them. Afterburn to the Kurgen and blow it up
quickly. Gamma will then launch its torps and the facility will be scrapped.

A Coalition carrier, the Krasny, will come through the warp gate. Hurry up and
blow up the 4 power generators to shut the gate down permanently. Then go for
the
Krasny. You destroy the Krasny by shooting out all 4 power generators as the
Krasny comes through. After the Krasny is gone, warp back to the Reliant and
land.

--- Walk Through for Mission 15 ---
Home Sweet Home
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Patriot
Arm the Patriot with 2 vagabonds and 2 raptor pods. The vagabonds are good for
destroying cloaked fighters because they have the ability to maintain their lock
on fighters even if they are cloaked. The raptor pods are great for destroying
torps because they are fast.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: After you jump, a wave of stealth units will jump in. It may take
you some time to kill them all. After the stealth fighters are destroyed,
another
wave of fighters arrive. Don't worry, these guys don't have cloaking devices.
After you kill everything, you will get a message from the Reliant saying that
it
is being attacked. You then jump to the Victorious and escort them away from the
battle going on with the Reliant.

Go into escort position by flying into the red circles. Then, a big wave of
fighters will jump in including two torp launchers. Immediately turn and face
the
torps and blast them. Use the raptors if they are too far away. Be careful not
to
run into any torps. After the torps are gone, go for the fighters, but try to
stay beside the Victorious.

More torps will come. Destroy them all. Again, be careful not to run into them.
After the torps are gone, go blast the fighters. Some more enemy fighters will
jump in. Get them. After everything is destroyed, go back into escort position.

A short movie will show what is happening at the Reliant. The Reliant gets
destroyed because Foster rammed it into the enemy carrier. Sad moment.

You then jump to go help the Yamato. After you jump, you will see that there are
2 Coalition carriers attacking the Yamato. First, go shoot the Kiev's shield
generator. Then, shoot the Yevstafiy's shield generator. The Yamato will launch
its torps to blow up the two carriers. Land in the Yamato and explore your new
home.

--- Walk Through for Mission 16 ---
The Petrov Bros.
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Patriot
Load up the Patriot with 2 fuel tanks and 3 vagabonds. In this mission, the
Patriot's powerful shields will come into action because you will receive a lot
of enemy fire from behind.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: After you launch from the Yamato, enemy fighters will jump in.
Don't worry about them, the Yamato can take care of itself. A message will come
up telling you to continue with your mission. So, jump.

The Morzov and the Sharov will come into view. The Sharov will jump away. Then,
2
Kurgens and some fighters will jump in to attack. Go for the 2 Kurgens first.
After the Kurgens are gone, go finish off the fighters. Try to kill Nicolai
Petrov. After all the fighters are dead, go blow up the Morzov's shield
generator. After the shields are down, shut down both of its engines. The Yamato
will, then, come and nuke the Morzov. More enemies will jump in. However, you
get
a distress call from the Vampires. Jump to them.

The Vampires will be in an escape pod, but they will soon be dead because Ivan
Petrov will jump in from behind them and blast them. Finally, Klaus Steiner goes
BOOM! Try to shoot down Ivan. You have to do it fast or they will jump away.
After they jump, the Yamato will jump in. Land.

After this mission, you will be promoted to Lieutenant Commander.

In addition, you will receive a medal, the Special Operations Service Medal.

--- Walk Through for Mission 17 ---
Capture the Admiral
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Patriot
2 raptors, 2 vagabonds and 1 fuel tank will do the job for this mission. The
Patriot's powerful lasers will be very useful.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: Right after your initial jump, fighters will appear in the lower
right of your screen. Immediately go and destroy them all. You will have about 1
minute before reinforcements come. There are only a few of them so don't worry.
After they are all dead, jump ahead.

When you are finished the jump, you will see the Berijev and its escorts.
Afterburn to the Kurgens and shoot them with your lasers at full power to kill
them quickly. There are 2 Kurgens. After the Kurgens are blown up, go shut down
the Berijev's shield generator. Then, shoot the engines. Next, shoot out the 5
turrets. After you have finished all that, shoot down the rest of the fighters.

Once all the fighters are gone, the boarding ship will come to capture Admiral
Kilov. Before the boarding ship crew can capture Kilov, Kilov will eject using
the escape pod. Right after this happens, some fighters and the Antonov will
jump
in. Prevent the Antonov from picking up the Admiral by blowing it up using your
lasers. It's an easy kill. Finish off the rest of the fighters.

The Admiral has activated the self-destruct device on the Berijev. It explodes
and kills the boarding ship crew inside.

Once all the fighters are gone, the Nanny will come in to pick up the escape pod
with the Admiral in it. Once the pod has been picked up, jump back to the
Yamato.
When you arrive at the Yamato, some enemy fighters will jump in to destroy the
Nanny. Protect the Nanny. Blow up all the fighters. Land.

--- Walk Through for Mission 18 ---
The Dark Reign
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Patriot
Load up your ship with 1 fuel tank and 4 vagabonds. Try not to use up your
vagabonds since you need them to destroy something in this mission.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: Right after you warp, the Dark Reign and some fighters will come
into view. Attack the fighters first. The Dark Reign will fire an ion beam at
the
Victorious, killing it instantly. The Yamato will jump out to prevent the Dark
Reign from firing at them. Keep on fighting the fighters until you get the
coordinates to where the shield generator is. You will get a message telling you
where the generators are after a while. It seems that you must use missiles to
blow up the shield generator because lasers don't seem to have any effect on
them.

Once the shields are down, blow up one of the armor plating and shoot at the
power core inside. Turn and fly away to get away from the explosion. After the
Dark Reign is gone, the Yamato will jump back in to assist. Finish off the
fighters and land.

You will receive two medals on this mission if you did good enough. The first
medal is the Legion of Service medal. The other one is the Joint Services
Commendation Medal.

--- Walk Through for Mission 19 ---
Steiner Is Alive
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Shroud
This will be the only ship you will be able to use on this mission because of
its
stealth capabilities. Arm it with 2 raptor pods and 2 vagabonds.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: The Ronin and the boarding ship will need to be dropped off in an
area close to the Saladin. Warp to that area to check if there are any Coalition
forces there. Initially, there won't be any enemy fighters there but there soon
will be. Fighters will jump in. Shoot them all down. After they are all gone,
the
Ronin and the boarding ship will warp in. They will stay there until your squad
signals them to come. Warp to the Saladin.

Slowly fly toward the Saladin. When told to, go into stealth mode. Fly to one of
the gravity drives on the Saladin and wait for the signal to blast it. When you
receive the signal, decloak and blow up the gravity drive. Blow up all 4 of
them.
Afterwards, destroy all the turrets on the Saladin.

Next, kill the Kurgens. After they are gone, go after the fighters. After all
the
Coalition forces are gone, the boarding ship along with the Ronin will come.
During the boarding ship's extraction, enemies will jump in. Shoot them all
down.

2 Kurgens and some fighters will jump in. Inside the Kurgens are POWs. So, get
the fighters first. The Kurgens will start to attack the boarding ship. Your
squad leader, Diceman, will have to make a decision whether to destroy the
Kurgens or not. He decides it is better to destroy the Kurgens. Blast the
Kurgens. Don't let them destroy the boarding ship. Finish up the fighters. The
ANS Churchill will come to complete the extraction of the POWs. You warp with
boarding ship back to Yamato.

Right after you warp, enemies will appear. They will try to destroy the boarding
ship. Kill them all. Protect the boarding ship. After all the fighters are dead,
land.

If you had completed this mission well enough, you will receive the Navy Cross.
This medal awards you for the rescue of the POWs. You also get promoted to
Commander.

Rain of Torpedoes
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Phoenix
This ship is much, much more superior to the Patriot. The speed, acceleration,
agility and shields are what this ship does best. The only thing I find bad
about
this ship are the lasers. They only do moderate damage. Load up with 3 vagabonds
and 1 raptor pod.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: Right at the start, the Ronin will escort Admiral Kulov to
Alliance
Command. What do you think is going to happen to them? It's pretty obvious.

At the beginning of the mission, jump. You will see a whole slew of fighters,
capital ships and carriers. The Marauders will be called in to assist. First, go
attack the Kurgens. Then, get the fighters. Beware; many havoks are launched at
you in this mission. Try to avoid the blue shockwaves created by the havoks.
After all the fighters are gone, some more will jump in. Just shoot some down
and
they will jump away.

Take out the back turrets on the Yerjev and the Ufelsky. Gamma will then come
and
nuke everything. You will get a call from the Ronin about a big battle. Jump to
where the battle was. The journey there will take 2 jumps. So, jump and jump
again.

You will see some scrap floating around. Fly to it. You will have to find a
communications transmitter in the scrap. Utilize your beeping device to track it
down. When found, fly near it. Your squad will then have contact with Admiral
Kulov. He will send the Black Guard to kill you and your squad.

Ivan Petrov is one of the Black Guards. Don't attack Ivan. You are not allowed
to
kill him in this mission. Just destroy the other fighters. They will eventually
run away. Jump back to the Yamato and land.

Undercover Action
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Phoenix
Arm your ship with 1 hawk pod, 1 solomon pod and 2 raptor pods.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: You will start off the mission in a Kamov. It's a captured
Coalition torp launcher. Jump to the Coalition fleet. After the jump, fly into
the red circles to match speed with your squad leader, Diceman. Follow him close
and tight.

When you reach the back of the *****. Fly into the red circles to stop. Aim at
the ****** and wait for the signal to launch your torps. When you receive the
signal, launch all 4 of your torps and afterburn away. After the ***** blows up,
the Yamato along with other Alliance carriers will jump in. Afterburn toward the
Yamato until you get the message saying you are in range to land. You will now
change ships and relaunch.

Torps are now launched at the Yamato. Immediately target and destroy all torps.
There should be about 8 of them. After the torps are gone, take out the
Shinnik's
shield generator. Use the afterburn to get there quickly. Now, use the afterburn
again to get to the Kozlov's shield generator. Blow that up. The Yamato will
scrap the two Coalition ships. Finish off the fighters. Some will jump out.
Land.

You will be awarded with the Battle of Titan Medal for your accomplishment in
helping the liberation of Titan. A promotion to Flight Commander is also awarded
to you.

--- Walk Through for Mission 22 ---
Supply Raid
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Phoenix
Load up the Phoenix with 1 fuel tank, 1 raptor pods and 1 vagabond.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: After your jumping sequence, you will come to an area filled with
Coalition satellites. If you are fast enough, you will be able to destroy them
all in 1 minute. If you are unable to destroy them in 1 minute, some fighters
will jump in. Just blow them all away. Now jump to the Kronstadt.

Right when the Kronstadt comes into view, afterburn to it and blow up the
satellite dish. The destruction of the dish will prevent them from contacting
other Coalition forces. After the dish is gone, blow up all the turrets. Then,
blast open the 4 service doors. After the doors are open, the Rippers and the
Mammoth will jump in to take the supplies. Protect the Rippers. Take out the
Kurgens and then the fighters. More fighters will jump in but they are all easy
kills. By now, the Rippers should be almost finished their job. The Rippers will
load up the supply pods onto the Mammoth and then they will jump away.

The Yamato and Gamma will jump in. Gamma will nuke the Kronstadt. Land in the
Yamato.

If you have racked up enough kills, you should have achieved Squadron Commander.

--- Walk Through for Mission 23 ---
Cap vs. Cap
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Phoenix
My missile recommendations are 3 vagabonds and 1 fuel tank. Try to save your
vagabonds for killing far away stealth fighters.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: Jump to the Pukov. Yamato will jump along with your squad.
Immediately afterburn to their shield generator. And when you reach it, shoot it
with your lasers until its scrapped. Then, blow up all the turrets on the Pukov.
You don't really have to blow them all up, just shoot them until you get the
message saying that enough turrets are destroyed. I find that it is much easier
to win the mission when all the turrets are gone. Get the fighters next.

Eventually, some Kamovs, or torp launchers, will launch out from the Pukov.
Shoot
them down before they even get a chance to launch their torps. Continue to
destroy the fighters but keep close to the front of the Pukov. If you have a
good
eye, you will be able to see some more cloaked Kamovs being launched from the
Pukov. You can then follow close behind until they decloak, then blow them up
before they launch their torps. If you are unable to find them then wait beside
the Yamato until they pop up.

Try to blow up as much fighters as you can. Gamma will launch from the Yamato
and
launch their torps. Gamma won't destroy the Pukov, but they will do some serious
damage. Keep on shooting down fighters. Both the Yamato and the Pukov will shoot
torps at each other until one blows up. Intercept any torps launched by the
Pukov. Ultimately, the Pukov will shatter to pieces.

Ivan Petrov and some of his Black Guard will jump in. Ivan will see that you
have
destroyed his base. Now he has to find another place to stay. Don't try to kill
him because you cannot. They will just jump away.

You will receive the Medal of Honour for destroying the Pukov and most of the
Black Guard.

--- Walk Through for Mission 24 ---
Finishing Move
-----------------------------------
Recommended Ship: Shroud
Load up the Shroud with 3 vagabonds and 1 fuel tank. The vagabonds are great for
blowing up stealth fighters. The cloaking capability of this ship is very useful
in this mission. You should cloak if the Coalition Ion Cannon locks onto you.

-----------------------------------
Walk Through: This mission might take you a couple of tries to complete because
it is hard and frustrating at times.

After your launch from the Yamato, jump to the rest of your attack team. After
you jump, you should see the Cougars, 1 Alliance capital ship and 1 captured
Coalition capital ship. Warp with them to the Coalition HQ.

You should see the Coalition HQ and a lot of fighters. Somewhere around this
time, the Coalition Ion Cannon will destroy the Sharov along with Gamma.
Immediately attack the fighters. Keep on attacking the fighters until your co-
pilot yells out, "What are you doing?!? You're gonna blow the whole thing."

After he says that, target the turrets on the Coalition HQ and blow up as many
as
you can. Keep on destroying the turrets until the Mammoth and the Rippers jump
in. Protect the Rippers. If they die, so does this mission. Stay close to them
and shoot down any fighters that come near. More enemy fighters will jump in
near
the Rippers. Shoot them all down. By the time the Rippers are finished setting
the charges, all the fighters should be dead. You can leave the Kurgens alone,
they don't do much. The Mammoth will attempt to ignite the charges but they will
be unable to. You will have to fly to the charges and shoot at them. Just blow
one up and they rest will blow with it. If the explosion was not successful,
then
you have not done a good job of protecting the Rippers; you might as well
restart
the mission. If the explosion was successful then the Ion Cannon will be
disabled.

A section of the Coalition HQ will break off and attempt to warp out. Some enemy
fighters will jump in at about now. Afterburn to where the warp power core is.
The armor surrounding the power core is impenetrable. Nevertheless, Steiner will
crash into the armor, thus, destroying it. Fly to where the armor was blown up
and fire at the power core. The explosion will cause your ship to become heavily
damaged. When I played, all the armor and shields have been blown off. You
should
wait for your shields to regenerate before doing anything.

By now, you should have found out that Steiner is still alive. He had ejected
before crashing. A Nanny will come in to pick Steiner up. Protect Steiner and
the
Nanny from the enemy fighters. The Nanny will jump out after it picks up
Steiner.
Do not jump out with the Nanny because Ivan Petrov will soon arrive. The Yamato
will come in and torp the rest of the Coalition HQ. This is by far, the biggest
explosion in the whole game.

Ivan Petrov will jump in to see the HQ blown up to pieces. Defeat him and his
squad mates and jump back to the Yamato. Land.
