Hint: When you set off a security alert, make a beeline for the nearest
security station to turn the alert off. You don't have to hack at the station;
just select it and the security alert will be cancelled.
Hint: Hack turrets so they'll fire on monsters; then lead any pursuing
creatures back to the turrets to save ammo. This works especially well if you
manage to hack a pair of turrets (a tricky proposition because as soon as you
hack one turret, it starts firing at the other). But there's nothing like a
pair of turrets to set up a killing zone.
Hint: Ammo type makes all the difference! Once you learn to use the right ammo
against an enemy, even a lowly pistol can take out midwives and military
robots with a couple of shots.
Hint: When running away, try to find a grav lift. None of the monsters seems
capable of negotiating a grav lift, and often they'll obligingly stand at the
bottom of the lift, so you can shoot down on them.
