Japanese mythology and fast paced single and multi-player mayhem combine to make
Throne of Darkness
a must have title for action RPG fans. Throne of Darkness's flexibility is
reflected in it single and
multi-play options. Multi-play allows up to 32 simultaneous gamers to vie for
the mantle of Dark Warlord.
Through competition and co-operation, four clans, each with seven character
classes can challenge the
seven lieutenants and countless minions of the Dark Warlord. The single player
campaign includes 10
huge levels, allowing the player to seek to overthrow the evil that has
enveloped their kingdom.
Developed by Click, with several key members of the Diablo team, Throne of
Darkness promised
to deliver an engrossing experience which cannot be missed.

I. Component boosters.
These are probably the most useful (and powerful) items in the game,
components themselves give very little bonuses but these can change all that.
How they work
Doubles the effect of all select components added to the item at the same time,
but it will not double the effect of already installed components!
Example
Green soul shard Adds 1-3 earth elemental damage, (not very good basically)
Add 1 silver ingot (to the existing NON-installed component)
Then click proceed
The item should now have 2-6 earth elemental damage.
Much better don’t you think? But still low,
So lets take this a step further.
In a new item I use
3 Green soul shards
2 silver ingots
And Click proceed
And low and behold the item is a fine 9-36 earth elemental damage,
or something to that effect,

Now that we have the basics let’s look at the kenjya stones,
theses allow very powerful items at the lowest slot cost;
basically they allow multiple components to be boosted at the same time.
Example
1 Patience of Buddha
1 Soul of Buddha
1 Blood of Buddha
1 Tears of Buddha
1 Gold kenjya stone
Click proceed
Now you have a fine set of armour, 50% resist all,
it is as if you have used 2 sets Buddha drops,
But
1 Patience of Buddha
1 Soul of Buddha
1 Blood of Buddha
1 Tears of Buddha
2 Gold kenjya stone
Click proceed
If this was used it would produce a massive 75% resist all,
and would be far more space efficient,
and with rare items like the Buddha drops, this is a must.
I. Special component combinations:
Saitou Hajime has brought this to my attention from the gamefaq boards
Basically, certain groups of items create special affects,
you will know if you have one of these combinations because a small symbol will
appear on each of the components
E.G.
In a weapon
Pearl
kappa claw
Oni's fangs
This on top of the component bonuses will add 1+ to all water skills
