-------THE WALKTHROUGH------

    Level 1 - Rome Streets of Rome

Head forwards towards the arch at the end of the street. Head down the alley on
the right towards the fountain and kill the Doberman in the courtyard. Take the
immediate right as you enter the courtyard and then at the end of the alley turn
left and use action on the godhead to open a gate. Head back into the courtyard
and head left back into the streets where you started. Take the first right and
then the second left and follow the ramp down past the vine towards a second
godhead.

Again use action on the godhead to raise the platform behind Lara. Make your way
onto the platform and up onto the ledge above, next head up the stairs on the
left into a small lounge. Go into the next room and drop down the ledge in front
of Lara, follow the corridor around to the left down the stairs into a small
courtyard killing the Doberman on your way.

Leave the courtyard to the left and activate the switch at the end to open a
gate
leading back into the fountain courtyard. Once you have done this head back to
the last courtyard where you killed the Doberman and up the stairs. On your
right
about halfway up there is a pane of glass that you can shoot.

Use your guns to clear the glass and jump back up onto the ledge. Jump across to
the opposite ledge and then run up the ramp on the left until you can see a Gold
Key sitting on a small ledge. Collect the key and head back down to the small
gap
you just jumped across. Drop down, kill the Doberman and head towards the
fountain in the centre of the courtyard and use the key on the lock ahead of
you.
Head down the alleyway and get ready for your first boss encounter.


Boss 1 - larson Part 1

If you have played and finished the first Tomb Raider then you will recognise
larson as one of the other adventurers trying to stop you. This is not your
first
encounter with larson and is relatively easy. He is perched upon the ledge to
your left as you enter the room. Draw your guns and jump form side to side so as
to make it more difficult for him to lock onto you. Keep shooting him and he
will
soon run away.

Streets of Rome...cont

Collect the medipack from the alcove behind you and make your way into the small
corridor on your left. Take a left and go down the ramp and collect the Garden
Key from off the crate on your left. Once you have collected this head back up
the ramp and follow it around until you reach the top where larson will once
again attack you.

Boss 1 - larson Part 2

Again all you really need to do here is jump from side to side. You will need to
watch yourself here though as when you are jumping from side to side on the
balcony there is a risk of you falling off the edge. Once larson has been
defeated he will once again run away.

Streets of Rome...cont

Head across the tightrope and drop down the other side. Hit the switch behind
you
to open a gate leading back into the fountain courtyard. Turn around and make
your way around the corner to the left and into the small room at the end. Turn
right and head up the stairs collecting the Revolver on your way up. Turn around
and head up the next set of stairs on your right until you reach some large blue
doors. Open them and collect the scope inside on your left next the large
barrel.

Combine the scope with the revolver and walk forwards until you reach a locked
gate. Use the scope on the revolver to shoot the lock off the gate and head in
to
collect the second Garden Key. You will now be ambushed by a swarm of bats.
Leave
the room and head down to the bottom of the stairs, into the small room at the
end and out into the streets.

Follow the street to the other side and head into the small garden on the left.
Inside there will be a large metal fence on your left with a key slot on either
side. Place both Garden keys here to open the gate leading into the main Garden.
Make your way into the garden and Lara will then place a golden artefact into
one
of the slots next to the dragon gate.

Once the cut-scene finishes make your way around to the right of the small
building and through the corridor on the right. Follow the corridor until you
reach the top and are confronted with a huge temple. Equip your revolver and
shoot the bell at the top of the temple. Head up the ramp on the left side and
turn to your immediate left halfway up.

Climb up onto the ledge and walk to the end. Jump across into the corridor on
the
other side and use your action button on the godhead at the end of the room to
open main door of the temple. Head back to the clearing outside the temple and
make your way inside the entrance into a large foyer.

Head around the podium to the left and through the small corridor until you
reach
a switch, operate the switch and head back into the foyer. Jump up onto the
podium and turn the left plinth with the dove on. Now head into the right
corridor and follow the ramp up around to the top, where there will be a large
rams head swinging from on the ceiling stopping you from proceeding any further.

Drop off the ledge to your right and shimmy around to the right until reach a
small ledge. Climb up onto the ledge and activate the switch on your right. Make
your way back down to the podium with the doves on and turn the second dove on
the right.

Make your way back outside of the temple and down onto the grassy plateau below.
Head down the small ramp in the centre of the temple base and collect the Saturn
Symbol. You can now head back down the main ramp at the top back to the garden
with dragon gate.


Rome - Trajan's Markets

Turn to your immediate left and head into the first mineshaft, shoot the box in
front of you and collect the crowbar. Leave the room and head back into the
street and make your way down to the metal gate at the end on the right. Use the
crowbar to open it and head inside.

Climb up the wooden scaffolding and then jump onto the box at the top. Head
across the tightrope being careful not to fall off, and then jump across the
platforms and up onto the window ledge on the right. Head along the gantry and
then at the end turn to your right and jump across to the stone arch,
immediately
jump across to the small ledge on the left.

Drop down onto the pile of coal and collect the flares on the top. Now turn to
your right and jump onto the platform, and make your way into the next room.
Drop
off the ledge and walk forwards and head to the fourth pillar on your left. Go
behind it and climb up to the top, shimmy around and drop off onto the beam
below. Once you stop sliding turn to your right and jump across to the next
stone
beam.

From here you will need to jump onto the small ledge on the left, and make your
way into the small room. You will need to pull the rope three times to align the
large cog with the smaller cog. Once you have done this make your way back
outside and jump back across to the second stone beam. From here you will need
to
do a running leap across to the third stone beam.

Jump into the small room on the right and pull the rope to open the large
rolling
door revealing a stone centurion guard. Drop down off the ledge behind you back
into the street and head into the centurion room on the right. Walk up to the
door itself and turn to your left. Now that the door has rolled across to the
right there is now an opening to the left.

Climb up onto the ledge and drop down into a small well-lit room. Use the
crowbar
to prise the Golden Coin from off the grating, and then make your way back to
the
rolling door and into the large room with the centurion statue. Place the coin
into the slot beneath the statue. Turn 180degrees and head out of the room and
through the now open gate in front of you.

Outside turn to your immediate left and head through the small archway and
follow
the pathway around until you reach a large pool on your left. Jump into the
water
and swim to the other side and climb out. Go through the door in front of you
and
head around to the right, but you will now be confronted by a Centurion
sentinel.


Boss 2 - Centurion Sentinel

To defeat this boss you are going to have to shoot both of its emerald eyes with
revolver scope. Jump down onto floor, turn around and hide behind one of the two
walls. Once the centurion starts to looks elsewhere make your way behind the
small ledge in the centre, and crouch to stay hidden.

Now if the centurion still hasn't spotted you, you will be able to stand up and
use your scope to shoot both of its eyes. Once both the eyes have been destroyed
the head will explode. Walk into the centre of the room where the centurion was
placed and collect the Mars Symbol.


Trajan's Markets...cont

Head to other side of the room and lift the manhole and jump down, follow the
corridor down and around until you reach a large water canal. Make you way to
the
centre of the room until can see a large fan at the bottom of the canal blowing
air upwards. Just to your left you should notice a small alcove beneath the
surface of the water, dive in and swim through it following the small passageway
around until you surface again.

Climb out and use your crowbar to prise the Valve Wheel from off the pipe. Now
jump back into the water and make your way back up to the room where the
Centurion Sentinel was. Head to the other side of the room and use the valve
wheel on the small bolt on the generator and then turn the valve. This will stop
the flow of water back down in the water canals.

So head back down and dive into the centre of the pool again, swim down to the
bottom and into the corridor at the very bottom. Follow this around keeping to
the right until you reach a large opening with two fans blowing air. Swim into
then and go with the flow, and then at the end swim upwards until you surface.
Climb out and turn the valve on the generator in front of you, this will stop
the
flow of air in the water.

Dive back in and swim back down to the bottom, swim towards the fans and through
the small alcove on the right. Follow the corridor around into the large room,
and then swim upwards until you surface once again. Climb out of the water and
head through the door and into the corridor. Collect the shotgun shell and the
shotgun from off the floor and then arm yourself with your shotgun, walk
forwards
and prepare yourself for your next boss fight.


Boss 3 - Centurion Guard

Keep close to the centurion so as he won't charge up his sword and fire green
bolts at you. Use your shotgun to take down this monster rolling from side to
side to avoid his sword swipes until he is finally defeated. Once you have
killed
him, jump up onto the ledge where he was and climb out of the window.

Trajan's Markets...cont

Jump off the window ledge and dive directly into the pool ahead of you. Swim to
the bottom and then head around to the left. The gate will now have opened, so
swim through and collect the Venus Symbol. Once you have the symbol swim
forwards
and leave climb out of the pool. You will no be confronted by larson again, get
ready for your last duel with him.

Boss 1 - larson Part 3

Use the same tactic as you used for your last two encounters, jump from side to
side shooting larson until he finally collapses. You wish to use your Shotgun or
Revolver to end the fight quicker depending on how much health you have. larson
will now be engulfed by three dragons from the dragon gate, which'll toss him
aside and then turn directly onto to you.

Boss 4 - Tri-Dragons

Firstly equip your shotgun and start shooting the dragons while jumping about
three times in each direction. The dragon will only attempt to hit you with
flames so long as you stay at a safe distance. Wait until you can see one of the
dragons charging his fire breath and then jump twice to avoid it.

Even with your strongest weapons this will be a long drawn out battle. Remember
you will only be able to hit a dragon when they are charging their fire, unless
they are doing this they will invincible any for of attack. You may even find it
easier to save your game every time you kill one of the dragons.

Once all three dragons have died place the two artefacts in the slots on either
side of the door and enter the tomb, head towards the artefact at the end of the
room. Just before you reach Lara will drop down into and underground tomb.


Rome - The Colosseum

Keep running forward until you reach a long narrow corridor. Here you need to
run
using the spring button and then on the second to last tile you need to leap
across to the other side otherwise you will end up falling down into the flames
below. Now walk back to the edge and drop off making sure to hold onto the
ledge,
and then shimmy around to the left and climb up into the crawl space.

Crawl through and drop down on the other side. Activate the switch on the right
and then head back out and back up on the ledge from where you came from. Walk
around to the right and go through the corridor that I now open and follow it
around to the left. Slide down the slope and kill the lion at the bottom, turn
around and activate the switch on the far wall.

This will open the small gate that is now behind you, do a 180 roll and shoot
the
lion that runs out of the room towards you. Head into the next room and climb up
the ladder at the end. At the top turn around and collect the Gemstone piece
from
off the plinth, and then head into the following room making sure to kill the
roman gladiator as you enter on your left.

Head up the ramp on the right, kill a second gladiator on your left and enter
the
small alcove from where he came. Activate the switch and collect the ammo from
off the floor. Perform a 180 roll, and then make your way up the second ramp.

At the top walk into the next room on your left and follow the path until you
find yourself in a large cavern. Walk to the centre of the main platform in
front
of you and turn to your immediate right. Leap across to the platform and follow
it around to the right, look down off the edge and you should see another
platform below it. Jump onto this and then head forwards up and around the ramp
until you find yourself on another platform with a rope on it.

Pull the rope three time to raise the plinth on the main platform above you,
which has another Gemstone piece on it. Here you are going to have to run back
the same way as you came and collect the Gemstone piece before he plinth lowers
back into the ground. You have between 20-30 seconds o make it to the plinth in
time. Once you have the second Gemstone piece combine the two together to make
the Gemstone.

Once you have done this turn to your right and head through the door, but just
before you think you are save Lara slips and end ups hanging on for her life.
Once Lara is safe, turn to your immediate left and head up the ramp. Insert the
Gemstone into the slot on the other side of the room, and then immediately
perform a 180 roll and leap across to the centre platform on the other side of
the room.

From her turn around and leap into the large alcove beneath where you placed the
Gemstone. Drop off the edge and shimmy around to the left and drop off at the
end. Head through into the next room and climb up onto the small platform. From
here turn to you're right and climb up through the gap above.

At the top kill the lion and the gladiator, making sure to collect the Colosseum
Key from the gladiators corpse. Head toward the large blue doors and use the key
on the lock just to the left off them. A second Centurion Guard will now
confront
you.


Boss 5 - Centurion Guard

As before use any weapon (you may prefer to use your shotgun or revolver), but
this time you are going to need to keep a good distance from him. Unlike before
where he fired green bolts, this time around he has a hammer and smashed the
floor causing a shockwave. This shockwave is lethal, so you are going to want to
avoid it at all costs. This should be an easy battle, and finish in no time.


Rome - The Colosseum...cont

Directly opposite the doors from where you came in, there is now an opening in
the wall. Jump in and collect the key from off the plinth, go back to where you
defeated the centurion and turn to your left. Walk to the right of the doors and
use the second colosseum key to open the doors. Walk through, slide down the
ramp
and collect the artefact from off the wall.

Level 2 - Russia

The Base

Turn right and follow the series of ramps down until you find yourself in a
large
loading bay. Make your way to the other side other room directly beneath the
operating room. Use action on the locker to open it, Lara will then discover a
Small Silver Key.

Turn to your left and follow the room around back to the far wall, now you will
need to turn to your right and head through the narrow opening past the crates
until you reach a door with a key hole on. Use the small key to open the door
and
then head up the ramp around to the right. At the top enter the control room and
kill the two Russian guards inside.

When they are dead collect the swipe card and then search the locker on the left
to find yourself an Uzi. Now make your way back down the ramp and towards the
locker where you discovered the silver key, once you are there head right and
use
the swipe card on the reader to open the sealed doors. When the doors are open
go
through them and make your way up the ramp around to the right until you reach a
small balcony at the top.


Crate Jumping

Walk towards the gap in the railings and then take a running leap across onto
the
box in front of you. From here turn to your right and leap onto the small stack
of crates to the right underneath control room. Next turn left leap onto the
central pile of containers, turn right and climb on top of the box.

Take a running leap from the box onto the next container just to the right, and
from there, climb up onto the small box. Once on top of the box leap across onto
the balcony, and follow it around to the right until you come across a door.


The Base

Activate the panel to the right of the door, and then head through. Lara will
automatically kill the operator and rip the doors of the shutter leading to the
submarine. Search the two lockers and then head through the second door
activating the panel first to open it. Make your way back to the main floor of
the loading bay and head towards the now open shutter.

Once there follow the tracks up until you reach a T-junction with a guard on
either side. Kill them both and head through the door on the left, and make your
way outside into the snow. Head towards the submarine, but just before you get
there turn to your left and use the swipe card on the panel to open the doors.
Head through and kill the guard inside, and collect his key.

Now head back to the T-junction and this time take the corridor on the right,
follow it ramp up until you reach a locked door. Use the key to open the door
and
then watch the submarine commander talking with his companion. When play resumes
turn to your right and follow the gantries around to the end and collect the
scope and magazine. Once you have both items drop down to the floor and head to
the central door using your swipe card on the panel to open it.

Follow the corridor around into the locker room and kill the husky inside.
Search
the lockers for a Fuse, a Desert Eagle and any ammo that may be lying around.
Next head past the showers and use the panel on the wall to open the door. You
should now find yourself back at the T-junction, head directly forwards and
through the corridor leading back outside. Go back into the room with the large
generator where you collected the small key and make your way behind the
generator.

The panel on the left has a fuse missing, insert the fuse you just found to give
power to area. Walk around the generator and go through the door on the left,
making sure to kill the husky behind you first.

Activate the panel inside to move the crane around. Perform a 180 roll and run
outside jumping onto the small carriage next to the crane. Climb up onto the
box,
and then take a running leap from the box onto the second box suspended by the
crane. Now all you need to do is take a running leap onto the submarine.


The Submarine

Once Lara has been captured, you will be placed in a dormitory and locked
inside.
Walk around to the left and use action button on the bar that has come away of
from the wall. Lara will pull crowbar off the wall, next walk around to the
right
and use the crowbar on the grate at the end to reveal a secret passage into the
ventilation system.

Follow the passageway around to the end and climb up the ladder at the end,
crouch down and follow the next vent until you reach a ledge. Drop down and
shimmy around to the other side, climb back up and make your way towards the
ladder on the left. At the top you will be confronted by yet another gap, but
this time around there will be three electrical cables hanging through the gap
in
the roof.

Drop off the edge, shimmy around to the left and climb up in the middle gap.
Walk
forwards and lift the trapdoor. Drop down and search the shelves for ammo and
then search the drawer for the Negative Battery. Now head back up through the
trapdoor and hang back down the gap and shimmy left to the last vent and climb
up. Head forwards and make your way up the ladder, crawl left at the top and you
will see the commander speaking with the general.

Once the cut-sequence finishes, crouch down and crawl to the end, head down the
ladder and then open the trapdoor at the bottom. You will now find yourself in a
kitchen with two entrances and the chef. What ever you do not run as this will
alert the chef to your presence and he will attack you.

Walk slowly behind him and use your crowbar to knock him out, once he is down
collect his Bronze Key and then use the key on the door to your right. Inside
the
storeroom search the right shelf for a silver key and then search the drawers to
find a set of pistols. Leave the storeroom and head out to the right, use the
Silver Key on the door and enter the dining area. Kill both the guards and head
through the door on the left. Follow the corridor around to the left and kill
the
guard around the corner.

When you reach the T-junction head right and open the hatch. Head up the ladder
in front of you and follow the corridor around until you find yourself in a
large
storeroom, kill the two guards and climb up on the crates in front of you and
collect the Aqualung and medipack. Make your way back to the dining area and
head
towards the large television set. Now walk towards the hatch to the right and
open it.

Head towards the first corridor on the right and kill the guard inside. Once he
is dead climb up onto the crate on the right and pull down the hatch above you.
Climb up into the ventilation system and proceed around the vents until you
reach
another hatch. Lift up the hatch and drop down. Head out of the storeroom and
kill the guard on his way to kill you.

Now go back into the storeroom and search the drawers to find the Positive
Battery. Now combine both batteries, and make you way out into the hallway. Head
left and then right around the next corner and drop the gap in front of you.
Walk
around the corner, kill the guard who runs around towards you, and then head
forwards and open the hatch on the left. Kill the guard in the torpedo bay and
then head towards the ladder at the end. At the top run towards the end and
enter
the room on the right, killing the guard inside.

Leave the room and open the hatch opposite you. Now head down the corridor and
open the second hatch on the left at the end, inside kill the guard and collect
the Suit Battery from his corpse. Leave the room and head right, and then left
at
the end into a small chamber. Walk up to the suit on the left and use the suit
console on the torso section. Once you have placed this in insert the battery
into it, and hey presto, a fully working diving suit.


Deepsea Dive

Swim straight forwards and then head immediately left at the junction, as you
get
around the corner head right. As you make your way into the clearing you will
need to avoid the torpedos from the underwater sea pod. Keep swimming keeping to
the left until you reach a small passageway.

Follow this around into a clearing with a large crater in the ground. Swim down
and through the hole, follow this into the next room and swim up into the next
passageway. Keep following the passageway until a cut-scene kicks in and Lara
discovers the Spear of Destiny. You will now need to get back to the sub
following the same route that you took to get into the crater.

As your diving suit was smashed when you collected the spear your air will begin
to run out. As you head for the submarine be careful to watch out for the mini
subs trying to stop you. Once you reach the sub Serge will take the spear from
you, the spear will then start an explosion causing the ship to begin sinking.


Sinking Submarine

Immediately turn around and drop down the ladder into the torpedo bay. Head
towards the door at the other end and shoot the guard who run around the corner.
Head right and kill the second guard before climbing up the ladder. At the top
walk around the corner to the right, and be careful to jump the fire. Once you
reach the other side head towards the dining room and a bunch of electrical
cables will drop into the water, which will now make it unable for you to enter
the water.

Carefully jump across the water to the other side and head through the
passageway
at the end. Head left and enter the storeroom killing the guard inside, collect
his swipe card and search the shelves for any ammo or health packs. You will now
need to head back into the dining room and back through the fire corridor.

At the end head right and follow the corridor around until you reach another T-
junction, go left and use the swipe card on the reader to the left of the door.
Ignore the passage to the right for now, instead head forwards and climb up the
ladder on the left. At the top head forwards and take the first left.

This room also has an electric cable stopping you from entering the water. Jump
onto the console to the left, and then take a running jump onto the next one in
front of you. From here take a running jump onto the last platform.

From here you can take a jump across to the platform on the right and collect
the
Nitrogen Canister, once you have the canister you can use the same method to get
back to the main corridor. When you get out of the room go left and follow
corridor around into the main control room. Head forwards to the end of the room
and open the hatch. Walk through to find the commander injured in the corner of
the room. He will then give you a key to his quarters where the Oxygen Canister
for the escape pod is located. Walk back into the control room and look up at
the
vent on the left of the screen.

The second grate will have look a lot greyer than the others. Jump up and shoot
it until it smashes, and then jump up into the vent. Crawl around to the right
until you reach a hatch, pull up the hatch and jump down into the storeroom
below. Look up at the wall to your right and you should see a lever. Walk below
it and then jump up and pull it down to cut the power to parts of the ship.

Make your way back to the control room, head out of the door to the left, follow
the corridor to the end and drop down the ladder at the end on the left. At the
bottom head down the corridor on the left and use the key that the commander
gave
you to open the door to his quarters, once inside search the cupboard on the
right to find the Oxygen Canister. Leave the room and walk to the end of the
corridor. Kill the two guards that come around the corner and then head up the
ladder on the right.

From here you need to make you way back to the control room and through into the
small room where the commander was. Head up the ladder on the right and place
the
Nitrogen Canister in the slot on the left, this will open the slot on the right.
Insert the Oxygen canister into the slot and the pod will be ready for launch.
The hatch will no be sealed by the commander the pod will be released just in
time as the entire sub explodes.

Level 3 - Ireland

Gallows Tree

Lara now finds herself on an eerie island on the outskirts of Ireland. Once play
resumes head left until you reach a ledge looking over a large ravine. Walk to
the edge and position yourself directly opposite the white slope just the right
of Lara across the ravine.

Take a running leap onto the slope, and then walk against the wall and grab onto
the gap above you. Shimmy along to the left, around the corner at the end and
then drop off onto the slope beneath you. Turn around and walk to the edge of
the
ledge, turn right and leap onto the ledge across from you, Lara will now slide
off the ledge so you will need to use action to hold onto the ledge.

Shimmy around to the right, until you can see a small crawl space beneath you.
Drop down and hold onto the ledge below, crawl in and make your way to the other
side. When you get out of the crawl space turn to your right and jump onto the
small ledge, from here turn to you right again, jump up and hold onto the vines
above you.

Make your way along the vines and drop down when you reach the other side, now
follow the small passageway around until Lara slips, and slides down a large
slope. At the bottom you will be confronted by a demon hanging in a tree by his
neck. He will ask you to reclaim an old artefact and place it back in its
rightful place. When the demon disappears, turn to your right and head towards
the small alcove in the wall. Turn to your left and jump up onto the overhand
above you.

Climb along the monkey bars, drop off at the end and climb up through the
opening
when you reach the end of the passageway. At the top turn to your left jump down
into the well below. Follow the underwater tunnels around until you surface in a
small pond outside an eerie looking house. Climb out of the water onto the small
jetty.

Face the house and then turn to your right until you can see a large slope
leading into the water. Take a running jump onto the slope and then just as you
are about to fall off the end leap onto the small platform to the side off the
house.

Crouch down and crawl through the gap to the left of the house. Inside collect
the medipack from off the floor and then turn to your right and Rubber Tube from
inside the drawer. Now make you way back outside and onto the small wooden
jetty.

From here leap across into the adjacent pool and climb out on the other side,
head through small passageway and through the crawl space at the end. You will
now find yourself back in the area where you met the demon swinging in the tree.

Head forwards past the entrance until you come across yet another crawl space on
your left. Head through into the small clearing on the other side, and then
follow the path under the small ledge and collect the Pitch Fork.

Combine the Pitch Fork with the Rubber Tube to make a Catapult. Climb up onto
the
ledge beneath the clock tower and use the Catapult on the wooden boards. Once
the
wall has crumbled, head inside the tower and collect the Iron Clapper on your
left of the large bells.

Once you have the Iron Clapper turn to your right and jump down the small hole
behind the large bell. Follow the tunnel to the end and climb out to the left,
head into the crypt and collect the Torch from behind tomb. Head out and follow
the path through the gully until you can see a well-lit crypt on your right
(about three room up) and head inside.

Use the Torch on the flames and then head out and go right. At the end you
should
notice a small gap in the floor. Throw the torch down the hole, and then slowly
lower yourself down. Pick up the torch and run over the two lose tiles in front
of you, making sure that you are not on them when they drop.

On the other side you will be ambushed by a swarm of bats, so quickly head up
the
ramp on the left until you find yourself in a small room with a mass of roots on
the ceiling. Use the flames from the torch to burn the base of the tree, and
then
collect the Heart that drops down from the smouldering roots.

Lara will now walk into the following room and talk to Father Dunstan who is
trying to exercise a demon. He will then ask you to meet him at the cathedral,
and then walk away.

Once Father Dunstan has left head back out the same way that you came in, and
then once you are outside head up the ramp on your right and place the Heart in
the slot to the right of the door at the top. When the door opens head inside
and
through the crawl space at the end.

Climb up onto the ledge at the end and then follow the passageways around,
across
the wooden bridge and into the cathedral at the end.


Labyrinth

Once inside the cathedral, head to the other side of the room where you will be
faced with three large stone panels. You will need to push these in sequence in
order to proceed. You will need to push them in this order - 2, 1, 3. You will
now have awoken a group of skeleton knights.

If you are still facing the wall turn to you're left and head past the cauldron
towards the pew on the left. Run around the pew and then closely follow the pew
around to the right avoiding the skeleton knight between the two pillars.

Don't bother trying to run past the knight as you will be hit by his sword and
instantly slain. Instead head around the pillar on the right and through the
door
on the on the right wall. Lara will now be confronted by the Grim Reaper, who
will make his way into the following room and will activate a small knob on the
pew, the Reaper will then walk through the wall.

Walk into the room the Reaper just left and use action on the knob and Lara will
discover a pouch of Bone Dust. Walk back into the main hall of the cathedral and
using the same route as before head for the small cauldron in the corner.

Once there use the Bone Dust on the cauldron, the skeletons will now burst into
flames and combust. Make your way to the other side of the room and head left
through the open gate and follow the corridor around until you reach a small
room
with a gap in the floor. Drop down the gap, and Lara will plummet down into the
small pool of water at the bottom.

Climb out of the pool and you will then see the Grim Reaper head through a large
chamber and disappear. Head up the ramp and go through the first corridor that
you come past, you will now emerge in a large chamber. Head along the bridge and
activate the switch at the end to rotate the platform that you are on. Once the
bridge has rotated head into the next corridor, and then follow it around until
you emerge in a small room with a ramp spiralling upwards.

Head up the ramp and make your way through the first door on the right, and
follow the corridor around until you find yourself in another large chamber.
Walk
along the bridge and head along the second bridge on the right at the end.
Follow
the corridor around, and then when you reach the tall room with ramp follow it
up
and head through the first door on the right. Make your way around the
passageway
into the final chamber.

Walk along the bridge and collect the Bestiary from off the floor, and the leap
across the gap and through the talisman door that opens. Follow the next
passageway around until you reach a small room with a group of glowing spheres
that will then direct you to the exit. Head up the ramp on the right and leap
across to the adjacent ramp. Follow the ramp up until you reach another dead
end.

Turn to your left and leap across to the wooden platform, and then immediately
turn 180 degrees and jump across to the small ledge on the other side. Once you
are on the platform head up and then go down the ramp around until you emerge
outside.

Here you will need to follow the spheres making sure that you leap the gaps
avoiding the hell dog that is running around the corridors. Once you reach the
end of the labyrinth walk down the ramp, collect the medipack from off the floor
and then head through the tomb on the other side of the room to meet Father
Dunstan.


Old Mill

Walk forwards and head into the corridor on the left. Follow it around, leap
across the small gap and then take the next right. You will now find yourself on
a small ledge above a huge ravine. Ignore the pygmies for now and leap onto the
rope in front of you.

Once you are on the rope you will need to turn 180 degrees and line yourself up
with the platform to the left of where you came in. Swing on the rope until you
have enough momentum to leap off the rope and onto the ledge. Collect the Torch
and jump down to the ledge on your right.

Head back into the passageway from where you came, but instead of taking the
path
on the left head straight on making your way down to the bottom and use the
Torch
on the flames to ignite the candle. Once you have the Lit Torch head back to the
large ravine with the rope, and you will now need to throw the Lit Torch down
onto the ledge where the two Pygmies are.

The Pygmies are scarred of naked flames, so they will now ignore you as they
frantically run around in circles. Leap onto the rope again and this time turn
around to your left until you are aligned with the gate in the far corner of the
ravine. Now swing on the rope until you have built up enough momentum to jump
for
the ledge.

Once you are on the ledge use action on the gate and Lara will a loose bar from
off the gate that looks very much like a Crowbar. You will now need to jump back
down the to the lower ledge and onto the rope once again.

Again turn towards the gate, but if you look below the ledge just to the right
you should notice a small crawl space and a shimmy ledge. Build up your momentum
and leap across and grab the ledge, climb up and crawl through the gap until you
reach a ledge.

Hang down and drop into the mine entrance. Walk towards the far wall and use the
Crowbar to prise the Chalk from off the wall. Once you have the Chalk you will
need to head all the way back to the canyon where Father Dunstan left you. Walk
onto the metal grate and use the Chalk.

Lara will now start to draw a symbol that protects from evil, but the Demon
Vladimir Kaleta will then charge towards her but Father Dunstan suddenly appears
and save Lara. Vladimir Kaleta now enraged renders Father Dunstan unconscious
and
takes him away on his horse. Once play resume head forwards and jump down the
ramp.


Old Mill

Once Vladimir Kaleta has explained what he requires you to do in order to save
the life of priest he will then turn and head back into the barn from where he
came. When Vladimir Kaleta has gone head around the barn to the right until you
reach a small stream flowing into a water wheel.

Jump across the stream and follow the corridor around into a large clearing with
an old mill on a small island surrounded by a deep moat. Dive into the water and
swim down to the left, once you reach the bottom follow the edge of cavern
around
until can see a large pile of gold being guarded by a red demon.

Wait until the demon turn away from the gold and then quickly swim in and
collect
the Rusty Coin from off the top of the pile. Once you have Rusty Coin the demon
will now pursue you through the water. You will now need to quickly swim around
to the other side of the moat and use the Rusty Coin on the cage.

The demon will now swim into the cage where Lara will lock it in. Once the
Pygmies have eaten the demon, swim to the surface to get some air, and then make
your way back to the pile of gold that the demon was guarding.

Turn to your right and swim into the alcove, follow it around until you reach a
small passageway. Climb out of the water and follow the corridor along until you
find yourself in the main control room for the windmill. Follow the ramp up to
the left until you reach a large wheel.

Using action turn the wheel about five times and quickly run around the platform
to the left, leap off the edge grabbing onto the pole that is protruding from
the
wall. Swing off that onto the ledge on the other side. Now turn to your right
and
jump across to the platform around the corner with the sloping edge.

You will now have to crawl under the door just before it closes on you. You will
now be ambushed by a swarm of bats, ignore them as damage inflicted is minimal
and then walk to the to the edge of the slope to your left. Jump up and climb up
onto the ledge above you.

Turn around, jump off the ledge and pull the lever on the wall, this will now
stop the windmill. You will now need to head all the way back to the barn where
Father Dunstan was taken by Vladimir Kaleta. Make your way all the way past the
barn to the other side of the courtyard, where you should be able to see a
sloped
ledge. Walk around this to the left until you can see a small stream leading
into
a thin passageway in the cliff.

Dive into the water and tread along the top until you reach a gap in the cliff
side to your left. Climb out and jump up into the crawl space above you. Follow
this around until you reach the top of the cliff. Turn to face the barn, and
then
jump across to the small platform just to the left of the barn.

From here face the barn again, and you should see a small stretch of the roof
that is a different colour to the rest. From here leap across to the arch above
the door, and then walk to the edge and look for the second platform similar to
the first one you jumped onto.

Once you are on the last platform, turn o your right and position yourself with
corner of the mill. Jump across and then crawl backwards into the space at the
top, drop down and turn the dial on the far right wall. Vladimir Kaleta will
return again and explain how he is now free, and tells Lara of his evil plans.

Father Dunstan will then try to stop Vladimir Kaleta and will be tossed aside.
Lara quickly grab the Bestiary that she acquired from the Labyrinth and read a
passage to the Demon that renders him powerless. Father Dunstan will then take
Lara back to the mainland.












Level 4 - Von Croy Industries

The Thirteenth Floor

You begin in a large ventilation shaft deep within Von Croy Industries, once
play
resumes head to your right and ascend the ladder on the left. At the top crawl
into the vent shaft and follow it along until a cut scene kick in, Lara will now
notice the Iris in the room to her right.

Zip will begin telling Lara some meaningless info, when play resumes continue to
follow the shaft until you reach a padlocked gate. Use the scope on your rifle
to
shoot the lock, the vent shaft you are in will now drop, and Lara will slide
down
to the bottom. You will now need to act quickly, turn and face the soldier to
your left and use your scope to aim up on his head.

Remember that the only way to kill these soldiers is too shoot them in the head.
Once the soldier is dead climb up on top of the vent and immediately turn to
your
right, jump across to the second vent and crawl inside. At the end drop down in
to the vent below and perform a 180 turn.

You will now need to sprint to the other side of the vent and climb the ladder
before the entire vent becomes engulfed in flames. At the top make your way to
the bottom of the ladder. Climb the ladder but remember to stop about halfway up
as there is a laser beam that crosses the path of the ladder about every five
seconds.

Wait until the beam moves to the left and then quickly climb to the top. At the
top equip your machine gun and use the scope to shoot the vent on your left,
once
the side of the vent has been blown off, climb inside and turn to your right.

Crawl to the end of the vent shaft and use your scope to snipe the guard
patrolling the corridor outside. Remember that a headshot is instant death. Once
he dead crawl out of the vent and Zip will begin to explain to Lara about the
sleeping guard. When in the corridor use your scope to shoot the vent cover on
your right, and then crawl through and climb out on the other side.

Now turn to your right again and use the walk button to sneak up to the guard
asleep at his desk and collect the High Level Access Card from off his desk. Use
this on the door behind him to open the storeroom, head inside and collect all
the ammo and items from the shelves. Now slowly head out into the corridor and
use the lift controls to the right of the open vent.

Once the lift arrives jump in and use the controls inside to head up to the 16th
floor. When you exit the elevator slowly move around to the right and shoot the
two guards behind the crate. Once they are dead another guards will run around
the corner, shoot him and then make your way past the elevator to the left and
use the High Level Access Card on the card reader to the left of the door.

Once the door has opened, head inside avoiding the gun turret on the ceiling and
use the button on the large console at the far side of the room. Leave the room
and run past where you killed the three guards and head down the ramp on your
right.

At the bottom of the ramp head through the door on the left, into the gallery
room overlooking the Iris. Ignore this for now and run straight through the door
on the other side. You should now find yourself in a changing room, ignore the
scientist and activate the switch to the right of the scientist, a protection
suit will come out of the container dropping the Access Code Disc.

Collect the disc and then head back to the lift and go back down to the 13th
floor. Exit the elevator and head around to the right of the corridor until you
reach a large sealed door with a control panel to the left it. Use the Access
Code Disc on the control panel to open the vent above you.

Climb up inside the vent, and head around to the right. You are now faced with a
pole you will need to slide down. But it won't be easy, as you will need to time
it just right. Wait until there is an explosion at the top, wait for about four
to five seconds and slide down the pole, and quickly move out of the way at the
bottom to avoid getting grilled.

Crawl through the gap until you emerge on a aerial gantry. Walk across it
slowly,
and follow it around until you are on a second gantry. Head down the stairs on
your right and slowly creep up behind the armoured guard on the right.

Quickly shoot him in the head, and then immediately turn around and shoot the
other guard that walk out from behind the large crate. Head to the small door on
the left and use the High Level Access Card to open the door. Head into the
small
room and search the two fridges on your right for some bottles of Chloroform,
now
leave the room and use the High Level Access Card on the right of the glass
doors.

Equip your gun and then slowly head through the second door up ahead. When the
door opens you will need to quickly aim up on the guards ahead and shoot him in
his head and collect the Iris Lab Access Disc that he drops. Use the Iris Lab
Access Disc on the console around the corner and head through the door.

Inside you can either sneak past the guard in the hallway, or you can run past
him and wait until he follows you around the corner and shoot him. You now need
to walk up to the scientist in the lab and aim your gun at him until he
surrenders.

Once he has opened the door Lara will knock him unconscious, head through the
door and make your way upstairs into the Iris observatory room. Turn to your
right and use the switch on the wall. This will temporally switch off the
protective barrier around the Iris.

You will now need to quickly run out of the room, down both flights of stairs
and
into the small corridor at the bottom. Run into the Iris room and grab the Iris
from off the podium in the centre of the room. Once you have the Iris head
through the door on the other side of the room.


Escape With The Iris

Make your way around the corner, but whatever you do, do not step into the white
corridor until you have placed your gun in the transparent tray to your left.
Head into the corridor and open the second chest to receive a medipack, and then
head through the lounge into the main corridor.

Head around to the left, and then down the second corridor on the right. Enter
the room in front of you and search the cabinet on your right for a bottle of
Chloroform. Now slowly walk out of the room and head down the corridor on the
right.

Enter the second room on the right and collect the Cloth from the drawers on
your
right. Now combine the Cloth with Chloroform to create a Chloroform Soaked
Cloth.
Leave the room and head down the corridor to the right once again. At the end
walk around the corner to the left, and then use Chloroform Soaked Cloth on the
guard to kill him. Once the guard is dead follow the corridor along and enter
the
second room on the right.

Search the cabinet for some more Chloroform and head into the third room at the
end. Inside search the drawers and collect the Restroom Access Card.

Examine the card to see a number '8526' which you will need in a moment. Head
back around the corridor, follow the corridor around into the second hallway and
make your way to the door at the end. Turn to the left of the door and use the
control panel on the wall, enter the code from the Restroom Access Card, which
was '8526'. Enter the males toilets and then go into the first cubical.

Jump up and pull down the hatch above you. Next jump up inside, and follow the
vent to the end, drop down and head around to the right until you reach the
elevator shaft. Crawl out onto the grating, and climb down to the bottom.

You will now see two platforms at the bottom, the first one is sloped so you are
going to need to get onto the second platform. Jump onto the second platform,
and
then climb the chain in the centre all the way to the top. Once you reach the
top
position yourself so that the lift is on your right, and then jump backwards
onto
the small platform.

Now turn to your right until you can see a grate opposite you and a horizontal
bar above you. Jump onto the bar, swing around it and leap off onto the other
side. Now turn to face the elevator and leap onto it. Now open the hatch in the
roof and climb down inside.

Activate the switch, walk slowly out of the elevator to the left and call the
second elevator. Head inside and activate the switch. When the doors open you
will be ambushed by a group of armed soldiers. Quickly press the switch again to
close the door, the lift will then start to plummet to the ground.

You will now have about three second to activate the switch again to stop the
lift. When Lara finally gets up walk forwards and climb out of the elevator
through the hatch on your left. Walk to the edge of the elevator and leap onto
the horizontal bar in front of your, swing across to the other side and grab
onto
the ledge. Turn to your right and climb up the grating on the wall.

Take about twenty step up and then jump off the wall onto the platform behind
you. Once on the platform turn to your right and take a running jump onto the
bar
stretching across the lift shaft. Release yourself from here to land on the
platform on the other side of the room.

Now facing the wall jump up into the small crawl space on the left and crawl to
the end and stand up. Walk onto the slope ahead of you and slide down, when you
hit the second slope leap off and grab onto the bar above the flame pit.

Release yourself from this bar and grab onto the second bar. Now before
releasing
yourself wait until you see the flames in front of you die out first, and then
leap on the ledge and quickly jump back away from the flame vent. Now turn to
your left and walk to the very edge of the platform lining yourself up with the
hatch above you. Jump up onto the ledge, and then walk along the tightrope to
the
other side of the lift shaft.

On the other side, walk into the vent to slide all the way down to the bottom.
Crawl out of the vent shaft, and immediately run all the way to your right
avoiding the guard and heading into the main foyer of the building. Head up the
stairs and around the gantry to the right.

Be careful as you are now being sniped by a hidden guard up on the roof. Once
you
are on the other side on the room, climb up the mesh to the left of the door,
drop down onto the platform at the top, and then run around to the other side of
the platform and activate the switch to turn off the laser below you.

Drop off the ledge and head through the doors at the bottom. Run to the end, but
do not step onto the floor in the main room, instead leap across to the other
side letting the guard behind you shoot the fish tank flooding the room. Now
open
the door on your right, and quickly run through into the room on the left. You
now need to be careful of the motion sensors in the room.

Walk towards the end of the room and activate both switch on the left and right
side of the exit. Head through the door on left, and then you will need to run
through the next corridor into a large laboratory. Go through into the white
room
on the left where you will find seven boxes. Now six of these have explosives in
and one has the Teleporter Disc inside. It is based inside the Second box in at
the end of the room.

Once you have the disc head back into the teleporter room and use the Teleporter
Disc on the console to your right. Once you have inserted the disc into the
console make your way into the centre of the room and place the Iris in the
teleporter slot.

You will now be transported into another room. Turn around and drop down the
hole
on your left. Continue following the vent until Zip tells you about the control
panel on the wall in the hallway. Get somewhere where you can see the panel
clearly, and then wait until the guard inputs the code.

The code is '1672', when he leaves through the door, enter the code on the panel
and head up the ramp into the security control room. Activate the switch on your
right when you get to the top, and then turn to your left and crawl into the
vent
shaft.

Head up the ladder on your right and then drop down the gap at the end back into
the room where you dropped left your machine gun. Collect your gun from the
tray,
and then through the security tunnel again, but this time the alarm won't go off
if you are carrying your gun. Head left around the hallway, and then when you
reach first door on your right shoot the fire extinguisher to blow open the
door.
Once the door is open run outside onto the fire escape.


Red Alert!

The second play resumes use your scope and shoot the soldier on your right in
the
head, he will then fall through the railing taking part of the ramp with him.
Make your way around to where he was, turn to your right and take a running jump
over to the opposite platform.

From here run up the first set of stairs, and when you reach the second set of
stairs remember to jump when you are about halfway across as they collapse and
you will tumble down to the stairs beneath you. Head around and jump the gap to
the next platform on your right, and take a running leap across to the next
platform. When you reach the other side turn to your right, and take a running
leap to other side. Although there are steps there, they drop throwing you into
the abyss below.

At the top kick the wall in front of you to reveal a small crawl space. Crawl
through the vent until you emerge in a small room with a mesh roof. Head to the
bottom right piece of mesh, and then jump up and grab the hatch pulling it down.
Climb and kill the soldier at the top, once he is dead proceed down the corridor
and turn right at the end.

This next corridor is protected by a series of laser beams, so equip your
Headset
and then using the action button you will bring up your infrared sight. Wait
until you see the beams go out and dart past. You will need to this for each of
the five laser beams. When you finally get through the laser traps head down the
corridor on your right towards the elevator, when the elevator opens shoot the
soldier inside and the activate the switch.

When the elevator reaches it's destination shoot the soldier waiting for you
outside, and then head through the door on the left in front of you. Collect the
ammo and then activate the switch behind you. The target range will open and
five
targets will come towards you, shoot them all and then head back outside.

Follow the corridor around to the right, and then when you reach the top head
through the door on the right and head into the small armoury. Collect the
Grappling Hook Gun from the green alcove on your right, and then turn and
immediately shoot the soldier that runs in the room after you.

Once he is dead, go through the door on the far right into a large storage room.
Use your scope to shoot the special forces agent inside, and then use the
Grappling Hook Gun on the vent cover in the centre of the ceiling. Jump onto the
rope and align yourself with the damaged wall to the right of where you came in.

Build up some momentum on the rope and leap of grabbing onto the wall. Now
shimmy
around to the right and climb up into the vent. Follow it around to the left and
drop down into the corridor below. Quickly run down the hall past the two
heavily
armoured soldiers and behind the wall on the left. Equip your scope and wait for
them to walk around the corner, and then shoot them both in the head.

Once both of the soldiers have been neutralised enter the elevator and activate
the switch, once you reach your destination exit the elevator and head up along
the corridor. Kill the soldier on your right and then head through the laser
beams on your left using the same method that you used before. Once through
collect the Grappling Gun Ammo from off the crate on your right.

Now turn around to your left and drop down the hole at the end of the corridor,
head back through the crawl space in the floor until you re-emerge back at the
fire escape. Equip the grappling gun and use it on the fallen stairs above you.

Now before you jump onto the rope position yourself directly opposite the gate
on
the other side. Now jump onto the rope and build up a good momentum, and then
when you have enough height release yourself over the gate and onto a slope.

At the bottom of the slope there is small fire, so about halfway down you are
going to have to leap onto the ledge above it. Now you will need to crawl
through
the vent and then drop down on the other side, immediately when you land, kill
the soldier before he has time to sound the alarm.

Once he is dead pull the switch to the right of the door and head through,
follow
the corridor around to the right and head down the lift. Head out of the lift,
walk onto the first step and then quickly kill the two soldiers that drop
through
the skylights.

Walk up to the panel to the left of the door, turn around and jump onto the rope
hanging from the roof. Swing from here onto the tall box in front of you. Once
on
top of the box pull down the hatch above you and kill the Special Forces member
in the vent above you, once he is dead climb up into the vent.

Follow the vent around until you are dropped down a long slope, walk to the end
and drop down into the hallway. Follow the path along into a room where there
are
two laser beams blocking your path, so head through the door on your right and
continue going around to the right until you can see a small crawl space. Head
through and climb up into the ventilation shaft. Walk along to the end and drop
down.


Android Agent

Equip your machine gun and set your rate of fire to rapid. The second that you
hit the floor you will need to continuously shoot the android, although you run
out of ammo quickly there is always a new stock on top of the pink crate. The
best tactic for beating the android is to constantly roll past him while shoot.

Once you exposed the circuits on his leg and they begin to spark, jump up onto
the crate and using your scope shoot the red valve on the wall below the vent
that you used to enter the room. The android will now short circuit and die.


Red Alert!

Now you won't be able to enter the water yet and you need the key that the
android has. So take a running jump off the crate on to the sloped vents on the
other side of the room, jumping from them up onto of the vents. Now walk onto
the
mesh floor and collect the Grappling hook Gun Ammo and then use the Grappling
Hook Gun on the vent cover above.

Jump onto the rope and swing across to the gap on the other side of the room.
Activate the switch at the end to stop the flow of water into the room below.
Now
make your way down to ground level and collect the Key Bit (Left) from the
androids remains.

You will now need to go back up and activate the switch again to open the vent
cover so as you can get out of the room. Once you have opened the hatch head
back
out of the room and through the crawl space. In front of you, you should now see
a long corridor filled with explosive drums.

Using your spring run the entire length of the corridor avoiding the explosions
and the bullets coming from the helicopter outside. At the end you will fin
yourself in a small lounge. Run into the next room on the left and dive and
crouch behind the bar.

Remember the helicopter will follow you around and continue to shoot you. Ignore
this and crawl to the end of the bar and activate the switch. Head back into the
lounge and you will be faced with another android. Run straight past him and
enter the long corridor again.

This time the floor has been destroyed and you will need to carefully jump over
each gap keeping a good lead ahead of the android. When you reach the other side
head up the small ramp on the right and run all the way around the corridor to
the left, until you reach a ramp going down to the left. Head down and activate
the switch at the bottom.

If you managed to keep a lead on the android this will seal him in the room
above
you. Now head up the ramp and head left. Two of the three doors are now sealed,
head through the door on the left into a toxic waste room. Run through the door
in front of you, and then at the end head left. Now hit the switch above the box
in front of you, turn around and run straight back out again, shoot the guard in
the next room and head through the door on the right.

Now instead of heading through the door in front of you and leaving the area go
through the door on your right and activate the switch on the north wall inside.
This will transfer the toxin from room into the room where you have contained
the
android.

Once the android has died, flip the switch again and head out. Go down the ramp
around the corner and using the switch again open the room where you had the
android contained. Go back up the ramp and around to where the android is.
Collect the Key Bit (Right) and combine both key bits to gain the Helipad Access
Key.

Now head into the large corridor again where the helicopter was shooting at you
and follow it around to the right. You will now find yourself back in the room
with laser beams. Head left up the corridor and climb up into the vent at the
end. Turn 180 degrees and jump onto the ladder opposite Lara. Climb to the top
and drop back down into the room where the soldiers dropped through the skylight
earlier.

Walk up to the panel next to the door and use the Helipad Access Key on it, this
will open the door next to you. Now all you need to do is run up the ramp to
escape from Von Croy with the precious Iris. Well done! You have just
successfully completed Tomb Raider: Chronicles.
