Winston tells the first story about when Lara tried to buy an Artefact, the
Mercury Stone, from Larson and Pierre (Natla's goons from Tomb Raider). However
they tried to double cross Lara taking the Artefact and her money. But Lara gets
the better of them and ends up in the streets of Rome after a high-speed chase
on
a moped. Lara will be standing in the street. If you want to practice Lara's
basic moves enter the building to the left with the sign reading "Opera
Backstage". If you don't want to practice her basic moves then skip four
paragraphs down however you will miss out on the first secret of the game.

Start by going through the door to the left to enter the backstage of the opera
house. Run over to the crate to the left and climb on top of it so Lara will
start to give instructions. Follow these if you don't know how to perform the
moves. Now climb up onto the metal block next to the forklift truck and finally
onto the concrete platform to the left. Head left and do a standing jump to the
next platform with the small fence and head through the door into the next room.
Continue forward doing a running jump to make it over the gap in the wooden
platform. Go through the door to the right and follow it round to the left into
the next room. Do a running jump over to the next platform and hold action to
grab onto it. Pull yourself up and continue ahead. If you miss it just climb up
the crate instead. At the gap Lara will inform you to do a sideway somersault.
You accomplish one by pressing jump and the direction you want to jump, in this
case the left. When you land continue through the door back into the previous
room you were just in. Jump and grab onto the bars above Lara's head and monkey
across to the next platform. Drop onto the platform when you reach it and climb
the ladders to the ledge above to the right. Don't go through the crawl space
yet
instead turn around and do a standing jump to the top of the bars you just swung
across. Head left and collect the Flares and the Large Medipack from the crawl
space.

Now do a standing jump to the top of the metal column to the right and collect
the Small Medipack before returning to the previous ledge. Now go back to the
crawl space I told you to ignore before and crawl through it to drop into the
next room. This is the same room you started in. Activate the switch near the
closed door to open it and go through into the next room. Head down the stairs
to
the right and run across to the left opposite corner of the room. In the left
corner will be a stack of crates and metal boxes. Climb them to reach the large
pool above and drop into the water. Now swim through the underwater passage to
the right and follow it round to another large pool, which is deeper than the
last. Instead of climbing out of the water continue to swim to the bottom of the
pool to find another underwater passage. Follow it through to surface in a small
room. Climb out and collect the Large Medipack, Shotgun Shells, and Revolver
Ammo. After collecting them return to the pool through the underwater passage
and
climb out onto the concrete platform. Follow it through into a room with a
tightrope and a pit full of crates. Practice your tightrope skills now, as you
will need it later on. Press the action button when standing near a tightrope
and
Lara will walk onto it. Now press forward and she will start to cross. At random
intervals she will also start to unbalance starting to fall to the left or
right.
To balance her simply press the button in the opposite direction she is falling.
So if she starts to tip to the left press the right movement key. Practice going
over the rope a few times but don't go though the door opposite in the centre of
the wall yet.

SECRET #1

Instead drop into the pit with the crates and go through the doorway into a
storage room. Look through the shelves to the left to find some Flares, there's
nothing on the shelves to the right. Light a Flare if you need to and head into
the top left hand corner of the room. Push the shelving here forward once to
reveal some Revolver Ammo and collect them. Now head into the top right hand
corner of the room and push the empty shelving here twice to reveal a passage.
Follow the passage through to a small room [screenshot]  with some shelving and
search it to find the first secret of the game. Collect the Uzi Clips from the
floor behind you before exiting.

Now return to the tightrope and use the crates to climb out of the pit. Go
through the door in the centre of the wall I told you to ignore before to enter
a
room with two shelves. The shelving to the left contains nothing so search the
shelving to the right to find a Small Medipack. Once collected head through the
nearby door, opposite to the one you came through. Now follow the path down to a
switch and activate it to open the metal door. You will be back in the first
training room. Head back out onto the street to continue the level.

Back in the street where you started the level light a Flare and continue
forward
down the street. Find the alley to the right and enter it to head through to a
courtyard with a fountain and an attacking dog, kill it. When its dead use the
sides of the fountain to jump and grab onto the top of the cafe. Pull up and
collect the Flares from the corner before dropping to the floor of the
courtyard.
Use the Flares in areas when you need to, there isn't many pickups lying around
so ration them. Head down the alley to the right of the cafe and turn left to
come across an ornamental lions head. Use the action button and Lara will stick
her hand in its mouth to open a gate elsewhere. Return to the courtyard and head
left back down the alley back to street you started in. At the end of the alley
head right through the doorway into another small courtyard, the training
building will be in the street behind you, and then head left down into another
alley. Stick Lara's arm into the lion's mouth here to raise a block in the small
courtyard behind you. A group of bats will attack, just ignore them, as you
can't
kill them, and turn around to exit the alley. Straight ahead will be the block
you just raised. Use it to gain access to the bright red building. After you
have
pulled up onto the balcony turn to face to the right and angle yourself to do a
standing jump to the ledge with the Small Medipack on it. After collecting it
return back over to the balcony and go into the passage. Follow the passage up
and around to a seating area and head left through the door and through the
second door ahead.

You will fall to a path below, draw you weapons. Head right and shoot out the
window to gain access to some Revolver Ammo. Collect them then back to where you
just landed. Follow the path to the left until you come across two widows almost
opposite each other on some stairs. Blast them and collect the Small Medipack
from the right window. If you come across a dog, blast it too. After collecting
the Small Medipack head through the window opposite and jump over the gap to the
ledge opposite. Head through the passage to the left and follow the ramp to
collect the Golden Key 1 from a platform above. After collecting it return to
the
gap you just jumped over and drop down here into the alley. Head right to
reappear in the courtyard with the fountain. Draw your weapons and kill the
attacking dog before using the key you just collected in the lock on the
opposite
side of the courtyard. Go through the gate it has opened to enter another
courtyard. Draw your weapons and blast at Larson who will start to shoot you
from
the balcony high up to the left. He will give up and will run off. Light a Flare
and enter the arches to the right to collect a Small Medipack. After collecting
it turn around and go through the door at the opposite side of the courtyard. At
the junction head left into a small room and collect the Garden Key from the
crate to the left. Turn around and head back to where you were except this time
at the junction continue forward and round to the left to head up. You will
appear on the balcony Larson was on, except he is now across on the opposite
balcony. Draw your weapons again and blast at him until he disappears. When he's
gone walk up toward the tightrope and press the action button and forward. Lara
will start to walk the tightrope. If she starts to fall, just press the movement
key in the opposite direction. So if she starts to fall to the left simply press
right for her to regain her balance. Also remember to press forward again so she
will continue. When she reaches the opposite balcony go through the door and
safety drop to the path below.

There will be a switch to the left, ignore it as it will only return you to the
fountain. Instead head right and turn left at the wall. Continue forward and
though the door into a small room. Head through the right door into a passage
and
follow it until you come across a door to the left. Enter the small room to the
left, the next secret is behind the closed wooden door, and collect the Revolver
Ammo before continuing up the passage to reach some steps. Run to the top of the
steps and collect the Revolver. Turn around and find the balcony with the small
fence. Head to it and push open the door to the right by pressing the action
button. Enter the room, which is full of barrels, and collect the laser sight
from the left corner. Combine the sight with the Revolver [screenshot] and use
it
to blast the lock off the gate in the top right hand corner of the room. Enter
the revealed passage and collect the second Garden Key. Avoid the swarm of rats
that attack and return to the bottom o the steps outside. Head back through the
passage you came through before through the door at the end. Head through the
door immediately to the left and run up the street. The area to the right
contains the switch I told you to ignore before. Continue forward passing a
closed gate on your left to the far wall. Now go through the door to the left
and
insert the two Garden Keys you have collected in their slots near the large
fence
to the left. Return back out onto the street and the gates will now be open
leading into the garden. Head over to the building across the garden with the
three snakeheads on it. The camera will change to show Larson and Pierre up on a
roof ready to sniper Lara who is looking at the four slots on the building with
the three snakeheads. She will place the Mercury Stone in one of the slots and
up
above Pierre will have decide to let Lara collect the remaining pieces to place
in the three remaining slots. Light a Flare and head into the alley to the right
of the building. Here you will find a passage leading to the right. Follow it to
reach a large building in a garden with a bell. Use your laser sight Revolver
and
shoot the bell to open a door at the top of the steps to the left. Leave it for
now and return back through the garden to the small room with the wooden door,
which was closed before that I told you about.

SECRET #2

The wooden door will now be open. Draw your weapons before entering, as another
dog will attack. When its dead search the shelving to the left to find a Large
Medipack and then the shelving to the right to find the secret. Once collected
return back through to the gardens to the building with the bell you shoot
before.

Climb the steps to the left of the building and at the corner climb through the
door you just opened by shooting the bell earlier. The street will be far below,
so do a running jump to reach the platform opposite. Press action to grab onto
the edge of the ledge and pull up. Enter the red room and a group of bats will
attack. Avoid them and go to stick Lara's hand in the lion's mouth across the
room to open a door back at the large bell building. Remember this room, as it's
the third secret later. Do a running jump back over the gap and through the last
door you opened. Drop to the white coloured path below and follow the ramp
straight ahead to collect another laser sight. If you already have one it wont
make any difference. Go through the door you just opened to the left to enter
the
building. On a platform will be two crows. Head down the left side of the room
and enter the passage on the left. Follow it round to a switch and activate it.
This will turn one of the crows into a dove. Exit the passage the way you came
and use the dove as a switch to open a door elsewhere and activate a swinging
log
above. Head into the opposite passage of the one you just exited, across to the
right side of the room to find the door you just opened. Go through it and
follow
the ramp to a ledge above near the swinging log. Back drop off the right of the
ledge and grab it. Now start to shimmy right underneath the swinging log until
you can pull up into a small alcove in the corner. Pull up into it and activate
the switch to the right to make the remaining crow into a dove. Safety drop to
the floor and turn the dove you just created to open a door outside beneath the
building. Head outside, collect the Revolver Ammo from the left, and down the
steps to the grass. Don't enter the door you just opened.

SECRET #3

Instead head right and climb back through the opened gate. Do a running jump
back
over the street to return to the room with the lion's head. To the left and
right
two alcoves will now be revealed. One will contain a Small Medipack and the
other
will contain a secret. Return back over the street to the white bell building.

Now use one the white blocks near the stairs to reach the top of the white wall
to the right. Follow the wall round to the left and jump onto the roof Larson
and
Pierre were on during the cut scene. From the roof do a running jump into the
far
corner building to collect the Large Medipack and Revolver Ammo. Now return back
across the rooftops and walls to the bell building. Beneath the building are
some
steps leading to the door you opened with the dove switch earlier. Go down them
and from the passage you will collect the Saturn Symbol to end the level. The
cut
scene will show Larson taking the symbol and placing it in the building with the
three snakeheads and starting another gate phase.


Chronicles: Trajan's Markets


So Larson started the next gate phase and Lara needs to collect another two
symbols to prevent something terrible from happening. I'm assuming a large
explosion. You will start out on the streets again. Draw your Pistols and enter
the building to the left and blast the box on the pile of bricks to reveal a
crowbar. Collect it and exit the room. Run across to the building opposite and
enter the building there. Again blast the box on the pile of bricks to reveal
the
Laser Sight. Collect it then head back out onto the street. Head forward down
the
street and use the crowbar to prise open the metal door on the right. Enter the
room and blast the box on the floor to reveal a Small Medipack. Collect it then
climb the metal scaffolding to the right to reach a tightrope. Don't walk across
it yet, instead do a standing jump onto the windowsill behind to the right and
collect the Small Medipack. Once collected jump back down to the tightrope and
walk across it to the opposite platform. Diagonally jump across to the ledge to
the right and climb up through the window to appear high above the street. Do a
standing jump to the ledge to the right then finally another to reach the wooden
ledge ahead next to the door. Ignore the door for now and do a running jump to
grab onto the window opposite. Pull up and collect the Shotgun Shells before
returning to the previous wooden platform. Go through the door and safety drop
to
the ledge below. Now safety drop to the floor of the room and collect the Flares
and Revolver Ammo. This is the room you couldn't enter from the street outside
as
it is blocked by a wooden gate. Use the mud pile in the corner to reach the exit
above and head through into the next area. There will be a cut scene that will
show some cogs. Safety drop to the floor and run toward the door in the centre
of
the opposite building. You may notice a trapdoor, this is a secret you will
collect later. To the right of the door on the other side of the pillar you will
find a climbable wall. Climb it to reach a platform above. You will slide a
little to a flat platform and turn to the right. Do a running jump to reach the
brick ledge opposite. From it you can do an angled jump into a small room with a
chain. Pull the chain three times to raise one of the cogs outside to a desired
height. Once done jump back onto the brick ledge to the right and perform
another
running jump to the one you slid onto. Now do a running jump to the far brick
ledge and press action to grab onto it. Pull yourself up and jump into the small
room to the right to find a second chain. Pull it activate the cogs, which in
turn will open a large cog door. Jump back onto the previous brick ledge and use
it to reach the window above the door of the brick building. Collect the Uzi
Clips then safety drop to the floor. Don't enter the building yet.



SECRET #4

Instead turn around and run back to where you dropped into this area. The
trapdoor I pointed out earlier will now be open. Drop through it into the room
below and collect the secret and the two sets of Shotgun Shells. Once collected
climb back up through the trapdoor and enter the building where you opened the
large cog door.

Don't pass the cog door, instead light a Flare and head left to find a pathway
leading to a small well lit room. Use the crowbar on the grating to collect the
Golden Coin. Return back through the passage to the large cog door and enter the
room it revealed with the large statue. Collect the Small Medipack and Revolver
Ammo from the left and right sides of the statue then place the Golden Coin you
just collected into the slot. This will open two gates outside. One will be
directly opposite the building you are in now leading back onto the street. The
other will be directly to the left on the street outside, go through it into the
street head and follow it round to a water pool. Ignore the water pool for now
and continue to the end of the street and in a dead end alley you will find some
Revolver Ammo. Collect it then return to the water pool and drop in. Collect the
Small Medipack from in front of the locked gate and climb out on the ledge
opposite to the one you where on. Enter the passage and collect the Revolver
Ammo
here. The next room contains an octopus head trap thing that shoots beams of
electricity. At first it seems tricky but it is slow and once it has locked on
it
will not follow you as you continue to move. You kill it by using the Laser
Sighted Revolver and blasting out its two eyes. You probably wont do it from the
passage you are in now so run into the room and down the right platform. It
should lock onto you, ignore it for now, drop to the floor and continue though
the far door into the small generator room. Now from the safety of this room you
ca easily blast it. Stand behind the blocks at the side of the door. If its
fires
it won't be able to get you. When you kill it he should drop the Mars Symbol.
Leave it for now, as you will collect it later after the next secret.

SECRET #5

Above the generator machine you will find the next secret. To collect it use the
block you where standing behind and do a standing jump to grab onto the metal
platform that the lights are attached to. Now do a running jump to the top of
the
machine. Once collect return to the floor and enter the room where the octopus
head thing was and collect the Mars Symbol.

Continue further into the room to find a manhole and some Revolver Ammo in the
left corner. Collect it then open the manhole cover. Drop down into the revealed
passage and follow it through to appear in some sewers. Drop into the water and
swim to large hole with the underwater fan at the bottom. To the left in the
wall
of the hole will be a space that you can swim through. Follow it through to a
room that contains a large water pipe and use the crowbar to take the Valve
Wheel. Collect the Shotgun Shells from the floor before dropping back into the
water. Return to the generator room upstairs, where you got the last secret, and
place the Valve Wheel in its slot. Turn it and this will turn off the underwater
fan in the sewers below. Return to the underwater fan and swim through the space
in the bottom. Follow the underwater passage to reach a larger pipe. Swim into
the underwater passage to the left and follow it t surface in a small room
containing a Large Medipack. Once collected drop back into the water and swim
back through the underwater passage into the large pipe. Now head left and
follow
the pipe to reach another underwater fan. Its current will push you to the far
wall. Swim upward and you will surface in a room with another generator. Turn
the
wheel on the generator to turn off the underwater fan and drop back into the
water. Swim to the now deactivated fan and into the passage. Follow it through
to
an underwater room and opposite will be another passage. Swim into it and follow
it upwards to surface. Climb out on the ledge and head out onto the path so that
a gate will close behind you. Collect the Shotgun from the floor and then enter
the large room and a knight boss will attack. Don't let him strike you with his
sword otherwise its death. The best method is to jump onto the platform the
knight was on and shoot at him from there. When you kill him the windows above
the platform you are on will blow out. Collect the Small Medipack and Uzi Clips
from the platform then climb up through the broken window. On the ledge outside
head left and collect the Small Medipack there. Now safety drop to he floor.

SECRET #6

Now head back to the street outside where you started the level through the gate
you opened. Stick to the white building to the left and at the end another gate
will have opened revealing a small courtyard. Collect the secret then return
round to the water pool.

The underwater gate will now be open allowing you to swim through to collect the
Venus Symbol. Once collected climb out of the water and Larson will ambush you.
Blast at him a few times and the three snake heads on the on the building with
the slots will come alive. They will scare off Larson leaving you to deal with
them. This is a good time to save if you haven't already. Jump from side to side
blasting them. You will need to kill each one individually. This takes time so
use whatever good weapon you have. When they are dead collect the goodies lying
around and place the Venus and Mars Symbols in their slots on the building. The
door will blow up revealing a large cave room. The room is larger than the
building itself, how peculiar. Anyway jump to the next platform and do a running
jump to the far ledge with the artefact in the wall. The floor will fall away
and
you will fall into a large pit leading to the next level.



Chronicles: The Colosseum


You will start the level sliding down a slope and will stop on a flat path.
Start
by heading forward down the path and through the first small room with the
skeletons to the right.

SECRET #7

Head through into the next small room and push the movable block, to the right,
in the wall twice to reveal another room. This is the first movable block I've
seen since Adventures of Lara Croft. Collect the secret then return to the last
room you where in and continue up the path.

Eventually the path will start to fall away to reveal a lava pit, continue ahead
and jump to grab onto the path. Don't pull up yet, instead shimmy round to the
left and pull up into the crawl space. Crawl through and you will drop down into
a small passage containing a wall switch. Activate it to open a door in the room
at the end of the lava pit. Crawl back through the crawl space and shimmy right
to pull up into the room. To the right is the door you just opened, go through
it
and slide down the slopes into the lions den. Draw your weapons and blast the
lion until he is dead. Once dead press the wall switch to open the door
opposite.
Draw weapons again and kill the second lion that will attack. When he's dead
continue into the room it came from and climb the ladders on the far wall. At
the
top turn around and collect the Gemstone Piece from the table in between the two
flames. Once collected go through the doorway opposite and a gladiator will
attack. Kill him then enter the alcove he came from to collect a Small Medipack.
Once collected exit and head up the ramp to the far left to the next platform. A
second gladiator will attack, kill him then enter he alcove he came from to
press
another wall switch. This will have opened a door further up. Collect the Uzi
Clips from in between your feet then exit and head up the ramp opposite to the
next platform. To the left will be a large cavern, ignore this for now, instead
head up the next ramp straight ahead. Another gladiator and a lion will attack.
Kill them both then head into the room they came from, which is the area you
just
unlocked. Cross the room and go into the second room to collect a Large Medipack
and the Uzi's. Once collected return back down to the large cavern I told you to
ignore and enter it. Stop on the red square platform with the hole in the
centre.
I recommend you have a quick look around and familiarise yourself with the
cavern. To the left will be a chain on a platform, do a running jump to it. Pull
the chain times and the second Gemstone Piece will appear from the hole. It's
not
going to stay there forever as its timed. So turn right head forward to the
steps
the head left down them. Jump onto the mud platform above, keep running, and do
a
jump to reach the steps. From the edge of the jump and grab onto the far
platform. Pull up and head left to do a final running jump to reach the Gemstone
Piece. Collect it and combine the two pieces to create the Gemstone and run
through the metal door opposite. It will open, continue ahead and you will slide
down a slope. A cut scene will show Lara holding on for dear life as Pierre
tries
to encourage her to give up the Gemstone. After the cut scene you will be
standing on the mud platform after receiving some help from Pierre. On the left
will be the area you need to go, ignore this for now. Head right and climb over
the mud pile to reach an opened metal door leading into the cavern where you got
the second Gemstone Piece. Go to the top of the room and return to the metal
gate
where the floors just feel away.

SECRET #8

Do a running jump over the slope to land in a small room. Collect the secret
from
the table to the right then slide down the slope.

You will be back at where you started after the last cut scene. Head right and
up
the ramp to the place I told you ignore before and the metal gate will open to
reveal a small room. Now run across to the opposite side of the room and place
the Gemstone in its slot on the wall. The floor will start to violently shake
and
fall away. Roll on the ledge you are on now and do a running jump to the
opposite
remaining floor tile. After the shaking has stopped turn around and do a running
jump to reach the large crevice opposite. Drop backward grab the edge of the
crevice then shimmy left until you can't go any more. Drop onto the platform.
Head right through the nearby doorway into the room and climb the block to reach
the room above. Here a lion and a gladiator will attack. Kill them both and
collect the Colosseum Key 1 the gladiator drops. Use it in the lock in the
opposite room to open the large doors. Enter the room behind the doors and
another large iron man will attack. This one has a hammer and there's nothing to
stand on. Run around him blasting him until he dies. When he's dead enter the
revealed passage and collect the Colosseum Key 2 from the table in the room.
Once
collected return to the previous room and use it to unlock the large doors.
Slide
down the revealed slope and Lara will land on a platform in front of the
Philosophers Stone. Don't collect it yet.

SECRET #9

Instead turn right and do a running jump over the pit to the opposite platform.
Continue to the next and where the door was earlier will be replaced with a
crawl
space. Crawl into it and collect the secret from the alcove. Once collected
return back across the pits and use the crowbar to take the Philosophers Stone
and thus end the level and this part of the story. Lara will stand holding the
stone admiring her newfound artefact. Suddenly the scene changes and the three
men continue their tea as the story ends.




 Chronicles: The Base


Jean-Pierre, who appears to have lost some weight since Last Revelation, will
now
tell his story of the time Lara infiltrated a Russian Base. He informs the
others
of a powerful artefact that is currently at the bottom of the seabed. Known as
the Spear of Destiny it almost killed Lara when she failed to retrieve it. The
level starts with you sliding down the inside of an air vent. Lara will break
through some grating and will land on the floor. Head right and follow the ramps
down to a large warehouse. There is a large crane that moves to almost every
corner of the room and will smash into Lara if it can. In a control room up
above
at the other end of the warehouse is a goon controlling it. Ignoring the crane
run across to far side of the warehouse underneath the balcony of the control
room. Here will be a cabinet and in it you will collect the Silver Key. Once
collected head over to the other side of the warehouse and head behind the
crates
to the right to find a locked door. Use the key you just collected to open it
and
enter the corridor. Head up the stairs to the right and draw your weapons. In a
room will be two guards, kill them both and collect the Swipe Card one of them
will drop. Now have a look through the cabinet in the far corner to find some
Uzi's before heading back downstairs into the warehouse. Run back across to the
opposite side of the warehouse and use the Swipe Card you just collected to open
the door to the left of the cabinet where you got the Silver Key. Draw your
weapons and enter the corridor. A dog will attack so kill it quick.

SECRET #10

On the wall to the right will be lose grating leading into an air vent. Blast it
and it will reveal the secret. Climb into the air vent and collect it from the
end before returning to the warehouse.

Now unlock the door using the Swipe Card to the right hand side of the cabinet
that contained the Silver Key. Enter the corridor and follow the stairs up to a
platform overlooking the warehouse. You will need to jump from each group of
crates to reach another platform over to the right. It isn't easy as the crane
is
always trying to get you. Jump to the nearest crates to you then jump over to
the
crates to the right. Finally climb up onto the last tallest crate and do a
running jump to reach the platform. When you land head right round the platform
to find the control room. Press the switch to open the door and a cut scene will
show Lara getting revenge. After the goon is dead she will clear the way for her
path using the crane. Before leaving the control room search the two cabinets to
find some Uzi Clips and a Small Medipack. Exit through the door to the right by
pressing the wall switch to unlock it. Head down the stairs back into the
warehouse. Cross the warehouse and head into the corridor Lara revealed using
the
crane. Two guards will attack. Kill them both and head into the corridor to the
left that one of them appeared from. You will appear outside in the snow with
the
submarine ahead. Ignore it for now as you can't reach it.

SECRET #11

Instead run over to he train track and climb up onto the red metal crate. From
there you can do a running jump to reach the red metal crate attached to the
crane. Now do a running jump to the large pile of crates in the corner next to
the building. On top of a wooden crate you will find the secret.

Return back down to the ground and go toward the locked door opposite the crane.
Use the Swipe Card to open it and enter the darkened building. Draw your weapons
and kill the guard to collect the Silver Key he drops. Once collected head back
outside through the door back into the building with the large corridor leading
to the warehouse. Run into the passage opposite and follow the stairs to reach a
locked door. Use the Key you just collected to open it and go trough to watch
two
men having a conversation. After the cut scene turn right and jump from platform
to platform to reach a Laser Sight and some Desert Eagle Clips. Once collected
safety drop to the floor. Ignore the submarine, as the platform the two men used
to board it will now be missing. Instead head to the door beneath the platform
you entered this area on. Use the Swipe Card to unlock it and enter the
corridor.
Follow it round to a changing area and kill the dog that appears from the
showers. There will be six cabinets to explore. Look through them to collect a
Fuse, a Small Medipack, some Desert Eagle Clips, a Desert Eagle Gun, and some
Uzi
Clips.

SECRET #12

Once all items have been collected head into the showers where the dog appeared
from and run to the top right hand corner. Pull open the grating in the floor
and
dive in the water. Now follow the underwater passage to appear in an icy area
near the bottom of the submarine outside. Collect the secret before returning to
the showers.

Exit the showers back into the changing room and exit via the door to the left.
Press the wall switch to open the door and exit into the large corridor leading
to the warehouse. Head forward and go back to he crane where you got one of the
secrets. Head out into the snow and into the building where you killed the guard
and collected the last Silver Key. Now place the fuse you just collected in its
slot on the large transformer. This will give power to the crane outside. Draw
your weapons and head toward the exit. Opposite it a passage will have been
revealed, enter it but turn around to kill the dog that is sneaking up. When its
dead push the wall switch to move the crane outside. Head back out in the snow
and someone from above will try to sniper Lara. Use the red crate on the train
tracks to reach the red crate attached to the crane. From there you can reach
the
submarine and exit the level.



Chronicles: The Submarine


Several hours after sneaking onto the submarine Lara is discovered and locked in
the brig by Admiral Jerevan. You will start this level with a limited inventory
and no weapons. Start by pulling the handle off the wall between the beds to the
left. This will give you your crowbar so head left and turn right at the beds.
On
the wall will be some grating, use the crowbar to prise it open. Head into the
air vents to crawl into the crawl space to the right to reach some ladders.
Climb
them to the top and continue into the crawl space to the left. You will need to
turn around so your back is facing the hole.

SECRET #13

Pull back into the hole and climb the climbable wall down to a passage to the
left. At the end of the passage you will find another secret, collect it.

Turn around and head back to the end of the passage to the vent shaft you
climbed
down. All of the three walls will be climbable so jump and grab onto the wall
ahead. Now climb to onto the next wall to the right and climb up to pull up into
another crawl space. Continue forward to the fan and climb the ladders on the
wall to the left. At the top crawl into the crawl space to the right to appear
in
front of a vent hole with some power cables poking down it. Don't worry about
them, as they can't get you yet. Turn around and crawl backward to grab onto the
edge of the shaft hole. Now start to shimmy left to reach the next wall and pull
up into the crawl space. Crawl forward until you can stand and pull open the
grating in the floor. Drop down into the darkened room and raid the filling
cabinet for a Battery (+). On the shelving opposite the cabinet you will find a
Small Medipack. Now climb back up into the air vents via the crate in the corner
of the room and return to the area with the power cables. Climb back down into
the vent shaft and shimmy left until you reach the next wall. Pull up into the
crawl space. Crawl forward until you can stand and climb the ladders to the left
to the top. Crawl into the crawlspace at the top and Lara will watch Admiral
Jerevan and gangster Sergei talking on the bridge. After the cut scene continue
ahead through the crawl space until you can stand. Climb down the ladders to the
left and at the bottom crawl through the crawl space to the left. Pull open the
grating and safety drop down into the kitchen. Now drop from the counter to the
floor and walk up behind the cook.

When you are behind him press action and Lara will take him out with her
crowbar.
Collect the Bronze Key he drops and use it unlock the door behind you to enter
the storeroom. Search the shelving to find the Silver Key then raid the filling
cabinet for your Pistols. Arm yourself with your Pistols and head back into the
kitchen. Head right to the locked door and use the key you just collected to
open
it. This will open out into a dinning area containing two goons. Kill them both
and a third man will attack from the toilets. Kill him and collect the Shotgun
Shells he drops. Once collected turn around and cross the dinning room to reach
the far door. Go through it and follow the passage round to the left. Here
another goon will attack, kill him then continue up the corridor and round to
the
right. Open the closed door using the turn handle and climb up the ladders
behind
it. At the top follow the corridor into a storeroom full of crates. Draw your
weapons and kill the two goons who will attack. When they are dead climb the
crates directly in front of the entrance door to collect the Aqualung. To the
right in the corner on top of another crate you will find a Large Medipack.

SECRET #14

Once collected safety drop to the floor and the bottom crate, which the Large
Medipack was on, it will be cracked. Use the crowbar to break it open and enter
to collect the next secret. Once collected return back down to the dinning area.

Run across to the opposite side of the room and go through the door on the right
of the large screen television. The other door leads into a bathroom, which
contains nothing of interest. Unlock the door by using the turn wheel and draw
weapons. Head into the corridor and a goon will attack from a room to the right.
When he's dead enter the room and climb up onto the wooden crate to the right.
There's nothing on the shelves or in the filling cabinet so don't worry bout
them. Jump up and grab onto the grating above and pull it open. Climb up into
the
revealed air vent and crawl through the crawl space until you can stand. Crawl
into the crawl space to he right and crawl though until you can stand.

SECRET #15

Head left and crawl into the crawl space there but stand up on the metal
grating.
Climb up the shaft to the right into a alcove and collect the secret.

Once collected return back down the shaft and crawl through the remainder of the
crawl space. When you can stand pull open the grating and drop down into the
room
below. Draw your weapons and kill the man who will attack from the opening door.
When he's dead search the shelves and the filling cabinet to collect the Battery
(-). Combine the Battery (+) and the Battery (-) to create a Suit Battery and
head out into the corridor the man attacked from. Follow it round to the right,
ignoring the passage to the left as it leads back to the dinning area, and climb
down the ladders at the end. At the bottom draw weapons and follow the corridor
until a man attacks from ahead. When he's dead collect the Shotgun Shells he
drops and enter the sleeping area he appeared from. In one of the corner you can
pick up a Small Medipack. Once collected return to the corridor and find the
closed door to the right. Open it using the turn wheel and draw weapons to kill
the man in the torpedo room behind it. When he's dead run across the torpedo
room
and climb up the far ladders leading to four small diving suit rooms. Open the
door to the right and kill the man in the small diving room to collect the Suit
Console he drops. Now combine it with the Aqualung to create the Suit Console.
Head to the end of the corridor and a man will attack from the small diving room
to the right. Kill him then unlock the door to the left using the turn wheel.
Run
over to the diving suit to the left and place the Suit Console in it. Now place
the Suit Battery in the suit to end the level and show Lara getting into the
suit.



Chronicles: Deepsea Dive


This level is quite short so don't worry about being in the sea for too long.
You
will be in your diving suit you collected from the last level beneath the
submarine. Remember this location exactly as you will return here later in quite
a rush. You will have some Chaff Flares in your inventory, use them to distract
missiles that the goons will send your way. Start by heading at angle over to
the
right until you reach one of the goons. Use the chaff Flares to distract the
torpedoes.

SECRET #16

In the seabed you will find a small hole. Swim into it and collect the secret.

Now you will need to find the opening into the sunken submarine. It's not that
hard as the area is quite small and a second goon will be waiting near it. Once
you find it swim into it through the underwater rooms to find a crate. Lara will
open and will be amazed by the sight of the Spear of Destiny. However it doesn't
last for long as her suit is damaged and you need to return back to your
submarine in a hurry. So swim fast through the underwater rooms and over to your
submarine to swim up the opening in it submarine where you started the level to
end it.




Chronicles: Sinking Submarine


So Lara returned to the submarine gangster Sergei took the Spear of Destiny.
Just
before she was to be ejected from the torpedo room into the sea there was an
explosion and now the submarine she is on is now sinking. This level will be a
lot darker than the last so use your binoculars light function whenever you can.
Start by going forward and climbing down the ladders, as there's nothing of
interest in the flooding diving area rooms, to appear in the flooding torpedo
room. Draw your weapons and continue forward for two men to attack. When they
are
dead collect the Uzi Clips one of them drops and head right down the corridor
and
round the corner to find some ladders. Climb them to the top and head down to
the
corridor until you reach a corridor leading to the right. A couple flames will
block your path, do sideway somersaults to pass the first one and enter the dark
room to the left. On the shelving to the right you will collect your Uzi's.
Collect them then return to the corridor with the two flames. Turn left and jump
over the flame to enter the dinning area. Suddenly a power cable will fall down
and will electrify the water so you can't stand in that anymore. Now jump onto
the first table ahead and then an angled jump to the table further ahead to the
right. Jump onto the next table ahead then finally into the corridor near the
power cables. In the corridor head right and turn the corner to the left. In the
room here a goon will attack, kill him and collect the Swipe Card he drops.
Search the shelves for a Small Medipack and return to the dinning area. Make
your
way back across the tabletops to the corridor where you were with the flames.
Pass the flames again and head right at the corridor. Follow it round to find a
locked door. Use the Swipe Card you just collected to unlock it and enter the
corridor. A corridor leading off to the right will have power cables blocking
the
way so continue ahead and climb the ladders to the left. Continue forward and
ignore the first room to the left.

For now head round the corridor into the bridge. The water isn't electrified so
run across the room to the far door on the left. Open it using the turn handle
and enter the room. In here you will come across the Admiral Jerevan and he ill
give you a Silver Key. He will also inform you that he will help you escape if
she can find some oxygen for the escape capsule. Head back onto the bridge and
find the vent up to the left near the ceiling. Blast it with your Pistols and do
a standing jump to grab and pull up into the vent. Crawl to the right and you
will drop into a power generator room. Spot the wall switch and go and under it.
Now do a standing jump and grab onto the switch using action to pull it down.
This will cut off all the electricity so the room will get very dark. Climb back
up through the air vent to return to the bridge. Turn around and head out the
far
left door to return to the flooding corridor. Go round the corner and through
the
door to the right. After entering the room to the left will be a Large Medipack,
collect it then run across to the opposite side of the room to collect a
Nitrogen
Canister. Once collected return to the corridor and head right to climb back
down
the ladders. Follow the corridor and head left to the area where some now
inactive power cables are. Use the Silver Key the Admiral gave you to gain
access
to the Stateroom and raid all the cabinets to find a Small Medipack, and a
Oxygen
Canister. Once collected head back out into the corridor and two men will
attack.
Kill them both and collect the Bronze Key one of them drops. Head left down the
corridor and follow it back to corridor with the two flames leading to the
dinning area.

SECRET #17

You will be able to run through the water in the dinning area to reach the
kitchen to the left. Near the counter to the right you will collect a secret.
Once collected return back to the bridge.

SECRET #18

From the bridge climb back onto the table with the map and climb back through
the
air vents to the room where you cut off the electricity. Here you will find a
locked door that you open with the Bronze Key you got before. Enter the room and
search the filling cabinet to find a secret.

Now return back to the bridge and head over to the left door where you meet
Admiral Jerevan Climb the ladders to the left of him to enter the escape
capsule.
Insert the Nitrogen Canister in the slot to the left. A slot to the right will
be
revealed insert the Oxygen Canister into it to end the level. Lara will return
to
help Admiral Jerevan but he refuses to leave. Then the story ends and Winston,
Lara's faithful Butler will fetch some candles.


Chronicles: Gallows Tree


Father Dunstan tells the third story of when Lara was younger she was a stowaway
on a boat to an Island one night with him. Start by turning to your left and
following the remainder of the path to a large chasm. You may have noticed the
hole to the right, leave it there's nothing down there and you'll be coming up
out of it in a minute anyway. I should also point out that you have no weapons
and will need to rely solely on puzzle solving to complete the levels. Look down
towards the bottom of the chasm to the right to spot a white pathway. Do a
running jump down to reach it and jump to grab onto the crevice above. Shimmy
all
the way to the left until you cant shimmy anymore and drop. You will land on
another white pathway.

SECRET #19

Now face to the right and do a standing jump to the white slope ahead over a
little to the left. As you slide grab the edge to break your fall, and drop to
the grassy ledge below. Now turn to the right and do a standing jump into the
muddy cave. In it you will be attacked by some bats and will find a secret rose
in one of its corners. Also there will by a Large Medipack in an alcove. Once
you
have collected them safety drop from the cave to the bottom of the large chasm.

Turn around and find the flat ledge leading to a hole in the side of the large
chasm. Once found climb up onto the flat ledge and up into the hole. Now follow
the passageway until you climb out back at the start of the level. Follow the
remainder of the path back to the chasm and do a running jump back down to the
white path again. Grab onto the crevice again and shimmy left to drop onto the
next white path. Turn right and again jump to the white slope slightly to the
left. Grab the edge of the slope as you slide but don't let go. Keeping a hold
of
the edge start to shimmy right round the corner to appear above a crawl space.
Drop and grab onto the crawl space and pull up into it. Crawl until you can
stand
and follow the grassy path down and around to the right. Be careful the path is
uneven and if you're too careless you will end up back in the bottom of the
chasm. Now use the vines above Lara's head to monkey swing across to the cave
opposite. Collect the Large Medipack from the small pit to the right then slide
down the slope opposite. A short cut scene here will show Lara talking to a
demon
that requests the she returns his petrified heart to him. You will be standing
near the tree the hanging man was on with a well nearby to the right. Also there
will be a small creature known as an imp wondering around. Stay as far away as
possible from it as he will drain your energy by stabbing you.

SECRET #20

Now turn around and run back up the steps you came down near the slope. Head
left
into the corner in between the tall pillar and the roof of the slope you slid
down. Now grab onto the top of the roof and pull up. Do a jump and Lara will
back
flip onto the top of the pillar. You will find the next secret in between your
feet. Collect it the safety drop to the floor.

Now head to the well then over to the rocks to the right to find a crawl space.
This space is an exit so ignore it and jump and grab onto the vines above Lara's
head. Now monkey left and up into the cave. Some bats will attack, just ignore
them and make sure your energy is ok. At the top follow the passage to appear
above the well. Do a standing jump from the ledge to the well and you will fall
into some water. Now start to swim and head right at the junction. Continue to
swim downward and head right at the next junction. Now swim upward at the corner
and head left ignoring the shaft that leads up. Swim downward again and then up
the next shaft to surface for air. You will be near a house. Climb out on the
flat ledge nearby and jump over towards the front door of the house. From here
do
a running jump to reach the slope opposite. Jump near the bottom of the slope to
land at the right hand side of the house. Crawl into the crawl space to the left
to crawl into the house. When you can stand raid the filling cabinet to collect
the Rubber Tube and pick up the Large Medipack in the corner. Once collected
drop
into the nearby water to the right and swim through the underwater passage to
appear back outside the house. Climb back up onto the flat ledge you did before
and turn around to face the pool of water past the barricade. Do a running jump
over it and you will slide into the water. Swim to the left and climb out onto
the flat ledge. Head right to the passage and follow it to a crawl space. Crawl
through it and you will appear back at the well and the tree the demon was
hanging from. When you can stand run over to the far left towards the bell
tower.
In the wall you will spot a crawl space so crawl through it and follow the path
to a cave. In the cave you will find Pitchfork. Combine it with the Rubber Tube
to create a Catapult. Leave the cave then climb up onto the ledge above it and
head over towards the wooden panels. Use the Catapult to knock the bells and the
blast will blow out the wooden panels to clear your path.

After the cut scene enter the bell tower and collect the Iron Clapper from the
left. Continue and drop into the hole and follow it to reach some crypts. The
crypt immediately to your left contains a torch. Pick it up head back outside
and
follow the path past the next two darkened crypts. They contain nothing so don't
worry about them. The fourth crypt will be lit, light the torch on it then
continues to the end of the path to a hole near the last crypt. Throw the
lighted
torch down the hole then climb down the ladders. Collect the torch and follow
the
path over the crumbling tiles and to the right at the junction.

SECRET #21

Head forward towards the torch on the wall and then right down the ramp until
you
reach some spikes. Walk through the spikes and leave your torch to enter the
crawl space. Crawl through into the small alcove and collect the Large Medipack
and secret. Crawl back through the crawl space and collect your torch again.

Head back up the ramp and continue forward at the junction to reach the roots of
the tree the demon was hanged from. Light the roots and his heart will fall from
it. Collect it and Lara will meet Father Dunstan who is the process of removing
the demon. Father Dunstan will tell Lara to head for the old church where she
will be safe. After the cut scene head back into the room with the roots of the
tree and pick back up your torch. Follow the passage back to the junction and
the
hole left by the crumbling tiles. Head round to the left and use the passage to
the right to by pass the hole safely. At the ladders drop the torch and climb
them. At the top he ad right and place the Heart in the slot on the wall. Enter
the revealed room and some imps will attack. Lara will throw the Iron Clapper at
them. If you don't have the Iron Clapper you will need to go back for it as you
cant progress without it. If you do it then she will kill the imps with it and
will reveal a hole by moving a slab. Drop into it and follow the path through
the
passages and across the bridge to end the level outside the church.


Chronicles: Labyrinth


You will start this level already in the church. Start by turning around and run
toward the closed gate for a ghost to pass you by. He will show you a switch in
the next room so remember where it is. Now head over to the other side of the
room to where the three push switches are on the wall. Enter the combination,
middle, left and then far right to open the gate where the ghost walked through.
Now you will need to be careful, as some skeletons will have appeared wielding
swords. The best method to use is to sprint past them to reach the now opened
gate. Enter the room and press action whilst near the switch the ghost used to
take the Bone Dust. Collect the Small Medipack from the corner and enter the
previous room with the sword wielding skeletons. Carefully pass them to return
to
the wall switches and to the left will be a large pot. Pour the Bone Dust into
it
and the skeletons will burn up and disappear allowing you to progress.

SECRET #22

Now opposite the room you got the Bone Dust from another gate will have opened.
Go through it but don't slide down the slope. For now climb up into the very
dark
alcove above it and pull the switch. This will open a gate in the room where you
got the Bone Dust from allowing you to collect the next secret. Go and collect
it
then return here to slide down the slope.

You stop in a small room with a hole in the floor. Drop through the hole and you
will land in some greenish water far below. Climb out onto the wooden platform
and another cut scene will show the ghost walking through more walls. Head up
the
wooden ramp you are on now and go through the first door you come across to
appear before a bridge over a lava pit.

SECRET #23

To the left, part of the small fence will be missing. Do a running jump where
the
fence is missing to grab onto a crevice in the wall opposite. Now shimmy right
round the corner until you pull up and stand. Turn around and do a running jump
to land on a wooden platform before another doorway. Enter and collect the
secret
from the dead end passage. Return to the lava room and do a running jump to onto
the crevice. Shimmy left round the corner and pull up when you can. From here
you
can return to the wooden platform you used to enter the lava room.

Run into the centre of the room along the wooden platform to reach a switch.
Activate the switch once and the wooden bridge will move. A second wooden
platform will also move somewhere else. Now exit the lava room across the wooden
bridge. Follow the ramp upward into the next room until you come across the
first
doorway. Go through it and follow the passage to reach the second moving wooden
platform seen in the cut scene. Run across the wooden bridge to the switch but
don't activate it. Instead turn right and head down the bridge there. Again run
up the wooden ramp until you reach the first doorway and go through the passage.
You will now be at the final wooden bridge and the Tomb Raider theme will play.
Run to the edge of the wooden platform and collect the Bestiary from the right.
A
door ahead will open, do a standing jump to reach it and go through it. You will
now have left the rotating platform puzzle, you can play around with it a bit
longer if you wish but I only found dead ends with little or none pickups.
Follow
the passage into another room with more ramps leading upward. There will be a
friendly spirit showing you the way to go so follow it. Head right to the top of
the ramp then do a standing jump across to the next one where the spirit will be
waiting.

SECRET #24

The spirit will move upward more, so walk to the top of the ramp you are on now.
You should be able to spot a wooden monkey bar. Do a standing jump from the top
of the ramp to grab onto it and monkey swing across to the dark wall. Drop and
grab onto the crawl space below and pull up into it. Crawl until you reach the
spiked hole and turn around to drop and grab the edge of it. Shimmy right until
you can pull up and collect the secret.

Once collected return to the previous room with the friendly spirit and continue
to follow it to the top of the room. At the top slide down the slope and follow
the remainder of the passage to appear outside where your friendly spirit will
be
waiting. Now there's no time to stop as a creature will be after you. Follow the
spirit, jumping over the holes, to eventually reach a slope. If you fall in the
holes you will have to start again. When you reach the slope slide down it into
the room below and collect the Large Medipack. Now go into the opened coffin to
end the level and Lara will meet up again with Father Dunstan.


Chronicles: Old Mill


Father Dunstan has told Lara to stay put until he finds a safe place for the
night. Of course she won't listen so start by running forward to the white tile
and pass it. A horseman, the demon you released, will attack throwing Lara back
up the path. The horseman will prevent you from crossing so head into the
passage
to the left. Now follow round the corner to the left then to the right. Head
left
at the corner and you will fall into a ditch. Climb out at the opposite side and
follow the remainder of the passage to the junction. Head right to appear at a
large deep dark chasm. Some imps will be throwing stones at you so keep an eye
on
your energy and top up if you need to. Over the pit will be a rope, so do a
running jump to grab onto it and turn around to face the way you entered this
area. To the top left will be the thing the cut scene focused on. Start to swing
and when ready press jump to land on top of he white ledge. The thing the camera
had focused on turns out to be torch. Pick it up the slide down to the entrance
to this area. Head back into the passage and continue forward at the junction.
Turn right at the corner then take the left at the junction. Turn right at the
corner to come across a lit torch. Light your torch on it and return to the pit
to throw the now lit torch down to the platform the imps are on. They are afraid
of fire so they will stop throwing stones at you and will run around scared
instead. Get back onto the rope again and turn around to face the entrance into
this area. Except this time swing over to the top right to the ledge with the
gate on it. When ready jump to land on the ledge and pull at the gate to collect
your Crowbar.

Carefully return to the ledge you were on and use the rope to swing across to
the
ledge with the white slopes opposite the entrance into this area. After landing
drop into the pit between the white slopes and enter the tunnel to the left. In
it you will collect a Large Medipack. Follow the remainder of the tunnel to
reappear back at where you landed. Now head down to the bottom of the smallest
slope and face it. Climb up onto it and press jump to backward somersault onto
the slope behind you. Press jump again and she will jump towards the next slope.
Repeat and press action to grab hold of the fourth slop. Shimmy to the right
side
of it and pull. Slide a little and then press jump to land on he next slope.
Press jump again and then hold action to grab onto the crawl space. Pull up into
it then crawl to the opposite end. You will have to head left and then backward
climb to grab onto the edge of the crevice. Now shimmy left and you will
eventually reach a crawl space. Pull up into it and drop into the small room on
the other side to collect the Chalk using the Crowbar from the white rock.
Collect the Large Medipack then return back through the crawl space to the
platform the imps are on.

SECRET #25

Now turn around and crouch. Crawl underneath the grassy platform you landed on
when you exited after collecting the Chalk and crawl through the crawl space to
reach a secret.

Once collected return back over to the entrance of this area and return to the
start of the level. Run onto the white tile up the path where the horseman
attacked before and use the Chalk. Lara will draw symbols on the tile and the
horseman will take Farther Dustan clearing the path. After the cut scene you
will
be standing in front of an entrance. The area behind you is where you have just
come from so head forward and slide down the slope. Head round the corner to the
left and continue ahead to the barn. Another cut scene will show Lara agreeing
to
release the demon in order to save Father Dunstan from death. After the cut
scene
go in between the barn and the watermill into the alley and follow it right
round
to the back of the watermill. Jump over the water and head through the passage.
You will eventually appear in an area with a large windmill and a large pool.

SECRET #26

Leave the windmill and pool for now and find the entrance leading into a cave,
not the one full of water as that is the exit over to the left. Crawl into it
and
some flames ahead will start to burn. When you can stand collect the Large
Medipack and run through the flames to drop into the water. In the water turn
around and climb out back onto the ledge you were just on to collect the secret.
Once collected drop back into the water and swim to the next ledge.

Now use the ledge to reach the next pool of water and swim out of the cave to
appear outside the large windmill. Now drop into he pool and swim all the way
down to the bottom were you would find a cage. Continue to swim round to the
left
of the pool and you should hear something swimming in the water with you. Its
Swampy and he owns this little area we have just invaded. What you need to do is
wait for him to swim away from the gold coloured area he is guarding. Once he's
further away swim forward and steal the coin he is guarding. If he catches you
he
will knock your air out of you and you will need to repeat the process again
once
you have caught some air. Anyway after you collect the Silver Coin get some air
then swim down toward the cage you had a look at before. Another cut scene will
show Lara placing the Silver Coin into the cage and trapping Swampy in it.
Suddenly the imps will raise him for lunch allowing you to enter the windmill
entrance he was guarding. So after the cut scene swim back down where you
collected the coin and swim into the tunnel Swampy was guarding. Follow the
underwater passage and you should eventually surface inside the windmill. Climb
out onto the wooden ledge near the stairs and head round to the large pulley
wheel. Opposite the wheel is a door on the opposite ledge. The wheel will open
it
but it will however be on a timer before it closes. So start by pulling the
wheel
three times and going to the left of the wheel. Whilst running jump at the edge
of the wooden platform and grab onto the parallel bar. Spin round it once then
jump onto the opposite ledge. After landing immediately turn around and jump
over
to the ledge with the closing door on it. Quickly crawl underneath the door to
be
faced by a slope. Don't slide down it yet. Instead jump and grab onto the
platform above the slope and activate the switch on the wall to disable the
windmill. Drop back down to the previous ledge and slide down the slope. Drop
back into the water and swim out of the windmill. Now return to barn through the
other area where Father Dunstan is being kept. Head to the left side of the barn
and find the water stream here.

SECRET #27

Drop into the water and swim to the corner. Now swim right and head into the
passage to the left when you come across it. You couldn't have done this before,
as the current of the water would have kept pulling you away. Anyway climb out
onto the ledge and collect the secret before returning to the water.

Swim back out of the passage and head right to return to the area where you
entered the water. Head round the corner to the left and climb out on the flat
ledge to the right. Now jump and grab onto the crawl space in the wall ahead and
crawl through until have to drop into a ditch. Run forward and crawl through the
next crawl space, round to the left and stand. Now climb to the ledge to the
right and you should have a good view over the valley and barn. You can see
where
to go now, do a running jump to the flat ledge of the barn then to the ledge
above the barn door. Now do a running jump to the final flat ledge on the barn
roof above the window then finally a running jump to the flat roof of the
watermill. Now you will need to enter through the window. Crawl and enter by
dropping in after turning around or by press the jump button to somersault in.
In
the corner of the room will be a turn wheel, activate it to end the level. The
demon will free Father Dunstan and this third story will end.




Chronicles: The 13th Floor


Welcome to the 13th Floor. Winston will now be telling the story of why Werner
and Lara no longer speak, the time when she took the Iris. Lara will be
receiving
some help from a guy called Zipp. He will inform you of traps and ways to go
when
you really need it. You will start this level in the air vent, start by heading
to the left and shooting out the grating to reveal a crawl space. I should point
out that the ammo for your HK Gun is very limited so don't switch to rapid mode
or any other. A clear shot to the heads of enemies is more than enough to take
them out. Anyway crawl through the crawl space, picking up the Large Medipack
along the way, until a cut scene shows you a man. He's wearing a test suit that
shoots lasers. Theses lasers can knock off half your energy so avoid a fight at
all costs. After the cut scene continue through the vent and crawl into the next
crawl space. You will enter a large duct but don't stand up. There is a laser
beam moving along the top of the duct. Head to the right and collect the Large
Medipack from near the grating. Turn around and crawl down the duct with the
laser until you reach a hole. When the laser is a safe distance away stand and
jump over the hole to run to some more vents.
SECRET #28

Now blast away the grating on the crawl space to the left and crawl into it.
Crawl until you reach a large duct and wait for the laser beam below to pass.
Quickly drop down and duck under the beam as it passes. Head towards the crawl
space and crawl through it to reach the room were you saw the test man. In it
you
can collect the secret.

Once collected return back through the crawl space to the laser beam. Jump and
grab onto the crawl space when its safe and crawl back into the duct with the
laser and the hole you jumped over earlier. Now crawl into the crawl space ahead
and follow it until the left wall of he duct disappears. From here you can climb
down into the darkened room. Search the shelving for a Small Medipack, some
Ammo,
and a Hammer. Once collected return into the duct and crawl back to the duct
with
the hole and laser beam. This time when its safe you will have to do running
jump
to make it over the hole. Once over crouch again and crawl into the crawl space
to the right. Now crawl to reappear back in the duct where you started this
level. Be careful two lasers will now be patrolling this duct. I couldn't find a
way to avoid them. Just make sure you have full energy at all times and head for
the far ladders to climb them to the top. At the top Lara will spot the Iris in
a
room with large lasers protecting it. After the cut scene continue forward into
the duct and collect the Ammo from the corner before turning right. Now you will
need to be quiet. If a guard in the room below hears you he will blast away the
duct forcing you to fight him. Not a good idea so walk up toward the lock on the
gate and use the Hammer to prise it open. Enter the next room containing a
ladder
a laser that cuts across the path of the ladder. Go round to the back of the
ladders and climb up into the alcove to collect the Ammo for you HK Gun. Once
collected go back to the bottom of the ladders and climb past the patrolling
laser beam. At the top you will come across a door that you cant open. So arm
yourself with your HK Gun and blast away the white section of the wall up to the
left to reveal another air vent. Climb up into it and head left to collect some
more Ammo. Once collected turn around and run to the opposite end of the vent.
Quickly jump back a couple of times as a guard will pass. Now if he sees you he
will activate automatic machines in the corridor and in the shaft you are in
now.
So carefully take him out with you sniper riffle and the grate in the bottom
right hand corner of view. When he's dead exit the duct into the corridor and
crawl into the crawl space you revealed. Follow the crawl space through to blast
another grating. Now crawl out into the corridor and Zipp will advise you to
take
the card out from underneath the guards nose. Sod that if he wakes hell call his
mates so walk into the room and sniper him with one clear shot to his head at
point blank range. No risk of being caught now so take the High Level Access
Card
from the desk. Now turn around and use it to unlock the door behind you to
reveal
a storage room.

Enter and search the shelving for a Small Medipack, and some Ammo. Once
collected
head back past the guard station out into the corridor. You will notice that the
lasers that were blocking the corridor before are now disabled. For now head
right and use he left panel to call a lift. Enter the lift and press the panel
to
go to the next floor. Now draw weapons and after the lift doors open sniper the
two guards who are chatting to the right. Wait a minute for a third man too
appear and kill him as well. Once they are all dead head left toward the
triangular door and use the High Level Access Card to open it. Enter the control
room but don't take out your weapons as an automatic machine gun will take you
out. Now head across to the opposite side of the room and activate the button on
the machine to show a 3D view of the Iris. This will also of unlocked a door at
the other side of the corridor you were just in. Now head back out into the
corridor and pass the lift and the crates to where the men were talking to come
across a passage. Head into the passage and follow it to a door to the left,
which should now open. Enter the room above the Iris room and go through the
door
on the other side. Here a scientist will be standing. Ignore him and activate
the
top left hand switch to release a suit. It should also drop an Access Code Disc.
Collect it and head back to the lift. Press the button inside the lift o take
you
back to the previous floor. Exit the lift and head right round the corridor up
until you reach the far computer console. Use the Access Code Disc you just
collected on the computer to open the crawl space to the right. Now climb up
into
the crawl space too appear in another duct this time with controlled blasts. The
controlled blasts will be engulfing a pole you will need to slide down so when
the coast is clear jump and grab onto the pole at the end of the duct and slide
down it.

SECRET #29

Halfway down the pole you will notice an opening behind you. Backward somersault
from the pole into the duct behind you to collect the next secret. Once
collected
return to the pole and time your slide down past the blasts to the duct below.

Crawl through the crawl space and when you can stand run along the walkway and
Zipp will start to talk to you. He will inform you that you will need to
distract
a guard to progress. After the cut scene continue to the end of the walkway and
enter the storage room at the end. Search the shelving to a Small Medipack and a
Cloth. Once collected run across the second walkway to the stairs. Don't worry
about attracting the guards attention. He wont notice you if you stick to the
outside walls of the room. So make your way round the room to the second closed
door beneath the walkway you entered this area. Use your High Level Access Card
to open the door and enter the room. Search the two cabinets in the room to the
right to collect a Large and a Small Medipack and a Bottle of Chloroform. Now
combine the Bottle of the Chloroform with the Cloth to create a Chloroform
Soaked
Cloth. The tank to the left containing some beetles will break releasing them.
They will swarm at your feet draining your energy so simply run from them. As
you
cant kill them simply keep an eye on it and top up when needed. Now head back
out
into the walkway room and walk up behind the guard and use the Chloroform Soaked
Cloth to take him out. When he's out use you High Level Access Card to unlock
the
door e was guarding. Head down the corridor and draw you weapons. About halfway
down a guard with lasers will attack. Take him out by firing at his head, one
bullet is more than enough. When he dead take the Iris Lab Access he drops and
use it on the computer at the end of the corridor to open the door. Enter the
corridor and ignore the scientist who is doing firing test in a lab. Round the
corner will be a guard patrolling and an automatic machine gun in the ceiling.
If
the guard notices you the gun will automatically be activated. So take the guard
out quickly with your weapon and run round to the far end of the corridor. Now
Zipp will be telling you not to kill the scientist in the next room as you need
him to unlock the door.

SECRET #30

Sniper the scientist from the corridor and two guards will attack from the other
end of the corridor. When they are both dead head through the door they blasted
open and enter the corridor and kill the next two guards you come across.
Continue forward and duck when you reach the corridor with the laser beam. Now
crawl left and collect the secret before crawling to the opposite end of the
corridor.

Go through the door into the passage with the ramps and you will now be at the
area where you should have been if you didn't kill the scientist. Head to the
top
of the ramps to go through a door leading into the control room of the Iris
electronic protection field thing. Flick the switch to the right to disable the
field and run back out into the passage and down the ramps. The door opposite
the
one at the bottom of the stairs you entered the passage leads to the Iris room.
Keep running and steal the Iris from the centre of the room. Once collected head
through the door tat opens at the opposite side of the room to end the level.
