This guide serves as a correction for Jirawat Uttayaya's earlier Gamest Mook
translation concerning the ranking mode so it's pretty sparse. If you want
a more detailed description of the feature, consult his guide. Thank you.

I. REQUIREMENTS
===============
Here are the methods achieve 9th Dan (1st Grade in western versions of VF2);
one note: you can't achieve the highest grade with Shun in VF2.0, because the
CPU does not registed the scorpion kick (d+K+G) and it's required for higher
ranks.

Your goal is to:
----------------
- get the 100 technical points; read on for details.
- defeat Akira in less than 6:30
- defeat Dural

To get the required technical points:
- do all the moves according to the charts below; remember that even if a move
is used more than once on an opponent, it only counts are one use.

To get more style points:
- use a special move at least once each fight; note: throws are special moves,
while the reversals are not!
- do at least one throw escape.
Actually, if you get 100 technical points, it's usually accompanied by 100
style points score...

There's a lot of tricks to lure the CPU to fall for some harder-to-connect
moves, but I'm too lazy to list them all here :) I'll do it if there's a demand
though. You can mail me at if you want those methods listed.
